MONDAY NIGHT METAL S01/E14 *COMPLETE*

Monday Night Metal returns from commercial with both competitors already in the ring.

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL! Introducing first, standing six-foot-two and weighing in at two-hundred twenty-five pounds; from Tokyo, Japan… “The Black Savior”, DEEEVONN SLAYYTONN!!!! And his opponent, at six-foot, four inches and weighing in at two-hundred forty-five pounds; from Brooklyn, New York, he is the “Ghost”, VOSHOONNN JACKSOONNN!!!

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: Jackson barely waits for the bell and he’s already pummeling Slayton!

Remi: You ain’t lying, Mikey-bro. He’s just WHALING on this dude! It’s all Slayton can do to cover up and get out of the way!

Slayton escapes the onslaught, and answers back with an elbow smash to Jackson’s face. Slayton wraps Jackson up in a bear hug -- and lifts him up for a big suplex!

Clearwater: Jackson eats canvas! And here’s a cover!

Remi: Only a one-count, though, as Jackson just powers up and shoves Slayton off! Voshon Jackson back up and after Slayton, grabs his arm and starts to wrench it! Like he’s trying to dislocate it bro!

Clearwater: That’s essentially what it looks like, Remi. Devon Slayton manages to get out of it -- and gets a crescent kick for his efforts! The Ghost is proving to be versatile for a man his size! Jackson cradling Slayton now, into an inverted mat slam!

Remi: NEUTRALIZER! And the Ghost rolls up the Forgotten Son!

Clearwater: NO! The referee just noticed Jackson’s feet on the ropes for extra leverage and is refusing to continue the count!

Frustrated, Jackson gets back to his feet and hauls Slayton up with him. Jackson whips Slayton into the turnbuckle, then charges in with a huge corner splash! Slayton slumps in the corner as Jackson backs up for another go -- and crashes into him again!

Remi: DUDE! This is just BRUTAL! The Ghost coming in for another, third time’s the charm! OH! And Slayton is sagging on that middle buckle! Jackson capitalizing with a basement dropkick!

Clearwater: NO! Slayton moves at the last possible instant and Jackson hits nothing but padding! Devon taking a moment to catch his breath as Jackson works his way back to a vertical base, but Slayton isn’t about to let him get the momentum back! Bulldog from Slayton!

Devon Slayton helps his opponent back to his feet and locks him in a half Nelson -- into a suplex!

Remi: Slayton fighting back, and he’s not done yet! Devon lifts the big man up for -- it looks like -- an atomic drop? YES IT IS!

Clearwater: But Voshon Jackson fights his way out of it and drops Devon Slayton instead! Jackson waits for Slayton to stagger upright again -- and nails him with a superkick right to the face!

Remi: It’s all over now! What’s he waiting for?

Clearwater: He’s got him in a cradle -- DDT! NIGHTMARE! The cover is just a formality at this point!

With disdain, Jackson rolls Slayton under the ropes and to the ringside mats with his boot as his music hits the speakers. He smirks, soaking it in as the fans rain down disapproving boos.

Remi: Impressive debut victory from Voshon Jackson here tonight! We’ll be right back, after these commercials!

Alex Scott vs Ultimate Destroyer

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for one fall and will have no time limit. Coming to the first… hailing from Anaheim, California… weighing in at an even two hundred pounds… it is The Answer… The Gift… The Future… THE ALL! DAY! SUPERSTAR! ALEX! SCOTT!

"Fight Like the Devil" begins, and there is a brief murmuring of fans. As the song picks up, Alex Scott parts the curtain, a look of focus and minor indifference on his face. Scott walks to the ring ignoring the crowd and focussed on the ring. He has the hood of his sweatshirt over his head, his face lacks emotion for this moment - he is concentrating on the competition.

Remi: That is a man that intends to win tonight. The focus. The lack of emotion. This is the big stage and he intends to steal the show. Look at the face, bro.

Jessica: His opponent… hailing from Parts Unknown… weighing in an incredible four hundred pounds… it is… ULTIMATE DESTROOOOOOOOOOYER!!

Air Raid Sirens fill the air as Ultimate Destroyer runs to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope at full speed and starts bounces off the ropes gathering momentum until he sees Alex Scott sitting on the top turnbuckle He stops in his tracks and runs over to Scott and Military Press Slams from the top turnbuckle into the centre of the ring.

Destroyer stalks over to Alex Scott who laying on the canvas winded from the ferocity of the opening salvo from Destroyer. Destroyer comes and stomps on Scott’s chest the way your next door neighbour’s evil kid stomps on ants.

Remi: Go Destroyer, go bro.

Destroyer stomps on Scott again, he goes for another Scott but Scott rolls out of the way and Destroyer chases him, each step landing on the canvas with force as he misses the rolling Scott. Scott rolls into the ropes, leaving him no room to escape. Destroyer smiles gleefully, as Destroyer brings his foot down Scott grabs and flips Destroyer off balance. He crashes into the mat with a massive crash as is to be expected by a man of that size. Scott pulls himself up using the ropes and goes after Destroyer on the mat dropping an elbow on his head. Scott doesn’t try to pick the Destroyer up instead he runs the ropes and builds momentum.

Remi: Sick bro.

Clearwater: Scott just managed to his Ultimate Destroyer with a running front flip leg drop right across his throat. He covers.

One!

Two!!

Destroyer pushes Scott off and brings himself to his feet. Scott bounces off the ropes and runs right into Destroyer. Scott bounces off. Scott runs the ropes again, he comes back at Destroyer and ducks under a swinging fist by the massive Ultimate Destroyer he comes running back off the other ropes and crashes into Destroyer with more force, he drops to the canvas and Destroyer boots Scott in the head.

Remi: Oh my bro, Scott had to off lost teeth there.

Destroyer bends down and picks Scott up with ease. He locks Scott in a full nelson hold and launches him backwards over his shoulder like a ragdoll. Scott crashes down onto the canvas. Destroyer turns around and drops a knee into the chest of Scott and stays there holding for a cover.

One!

Two!!

Scott gets a shoulder up causing Destroyer to roar in frustration. Destroyer stands up and brings Alex Scott with him. He gets him into position for a power bomb, Destroyer swings him up to his shoulders but Scott starts struggling while up there. Scott starts punching Destroyer in the head which causes his grip to slip, as Scott starts falling he wraps an arm around Destroyers head and swinging his around he drops Destroyer with a swinging DDT.

Remi: What a move, bro!

Clearwater: Scott with ascendency.

Scott immediately climbs the nearest turnbuckle and jumps off with an exquisite frog splash onto the back of Ultimate Destroyer. Scott rolls him over, to cover but Destroyer wraps a giant hand around the throat of his opponent. Scott struggles as Destroyer holds on recovering his senses. Destroyer manages to stand while Scott still struggles against the choke that Spanky O’Shaughnessy is too afraid to count. Destroyer wraps a second hand around Scott’s throat and lifts him higher. Scott manages to plant two feet into the chest of Destroyer who flies backwards into the turnbuckle, dropping Alex Scott straight down into the mat.

Clearwater: BOTH MEN ARE DOWN!

Remi: Who will be to their feet first, bro.

Clearwater: Spanky is looking at both men,

One!

Remi: Give three to one on Ultimate Destroyer.

Two!!

Clearwater: Scott starting to stir...

Three!!!

Remi: Destroyer is up first! The count stops!

Destroyer picks up Alex Scott and lifts him into a fireman's carry. He starts to run forward, but Scott breaks free of his grip and slips down behind him! A dropkick sends Destroyer into the ropes, he rebounds, and Scott catches him with a boot to the abdomen!

Clearwater: Alex Scott looking to cradle Destroyer's massive legs! Is he insane?!

Remi: Probably, bro, but somehow he's doing it! Little dude risking a hernia here, but somehow he's got Destroyer off the mat! Is it enough?

In an incredible feat of strength, Alex Scott gets Ultimate Destroyer up just high enough to bring him crashing back down with his version of the Ki-Krusher!

Clearwater: Asked and ANSWERED! Scott with the cover!

An exhausted Alex Scott climbs the turnbuckles, lifting both hands high in triumph to a cheering crowd as "Fight Like the Devil" hits the speakers again.

“Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses plays.

Jessica Kaine: This contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, led to the ring by his manager, Pete “Pontius” Pontii, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, weighing in at 345 lbs, Bobby “Definitely Not a Gorilla” Beauregard.

Clearwater: Bobby has not had much success, but Wolf challenged him tonight to bring his A-game. You think he’ll do it, Remi?

Remi: How am I supposed to know?

Clearwater: Great job, color guy.

Remi: That’s racist, bro.

Clearwater: What? How is that...you know what? Never mind.

Bobby and Pontii enter the ring, where Pontii gives his charge some last minute tips using sign language.

SO SEEK THE WOLF IN THYSELF!

Jessica: His opponent, from wherever he may roam weighing in at 230 pounds, the APW Hardcore Champion, Dean Wolf!

Dean Wolf marches down the aisle like Steve Austin to the sounds of Metallica's "Of Wolf and Man". When he enters the ring, he walks to every side of the ring, holding up the Hardcore Championship while also exposing the tattoo on his right arm which reads "Seek the wolf in thyself."

Clearwater: A lot of people might get cocky after pinning the World Champion, but Wolf is not taking that tack. He says he’s going to treat Bobby just like he does every other opponent: as a threat.

Wolf rolls into the ring, but as soon as he gets to his feet, Bobby sends him down with a body avalanche. 


Wolf is able to pull his vest and belt off as Bobby gets him back to his feet.

Remi: Whoa!

Clearwater: Whoa is right! Bobby is going right on the attack! I guess Pontii translated Wolf’s message the right way and Bobby took it to heart!

Beauregard throws Wolf into the corner and clubs him with right hands before biting him in the head. Wolf yells in pain.

Remi: The wolf man is taking a bite out of the Wolf! That’s cannibalism!

Bobby Irish whips Wolf into the opposite corner and goes for another avalanche, but Wolf moves. Bobby hits the top turnbuckle chest first and turns into a running big boot by the Hardcore Champ. Bobby stumbles back into the ropes, where Wolf sends he and Bobby over the top rope with a Cactus Clothesline.

Clearwater: With Bobby’s girth, that took a little more “oomph” from the Hardcore Champ!

Wolf tries to whip Bobby into the ring post but Bobby doesn’t budge. Wolf tries again but no success. On the third try, Bobby pulls him into a bearhug, lifts him up, and rams him spine first into the ring post. Wolf falls to his knees. Bobby whips Wolf into the guardrail and clubs him some more with right hands to the back of the head.

Clearwater: Bobby Beauregard is looking absolutely impressive in this match!

Pete Pontii orders Bobby to get back in the ring before the ref’s 10 count ends. Bobby gets in the ring and tries to head back out, but the ref stops him. Meanwhile, Pontii gets a few good stomps on Wolf.

Clearwater: Come on, ref! Turn around!

Bobby pushes past the ref and goes back outside. He lifts Wolf up onto his shoulder and runs, hoping to lawn dart the champ head first into the steel ring post, but Wolf escapes the beast’s clutches and pushes Bobby himself into the ring post. Bobby wobbles around the ringside area, trying to keep his balance after being knocked silly. Pontii runs at Wolf but Wolf back body drops him.

Clearwater: Pontii gets taken out!

Wolf gets on the ring apron and hits a diving elbow smash to the back of Bobby’s head, causing Bobby to finally fall. Wolf rolls him back into the ring and goes for the cover.

One!

Two!!

Bobby kicks out. Wolf gets him in a front facelock and looks to hit a DDT, but Pontii gets on the apron and distracts the ref. The ref goes to argue with Pontii, allowing Bobby to drop to his knees and low blow Wolf.

Remi: Dick punch! That’ll leave the Wolf-bro howling!

Wolf falls to his knees, and Bobby immediately traps him in a Fujiwara Monkey Wrench. Pontii gets off the apron. The ref looks back at the wrestlers and sees the submission hold being applied. He asks Wolf if he wants to tap.

Wolf: Fuck no!

Clearwater: There’s that resilience of Wolf’s we saw last week!

Wolf struggles for a few more seconds before doing a knee slide with his right leg, causing Bobby to tumble backwards and get caught in a roll-up.

One!

Two!!

Bobby kicks out. Wolf shoots up and goes off the ropes, looking to hit Easy Prey, but Bobby avoids it, comes off the ropes, and jumps in the air.

Clearwater: DK PUNCH!

Wolf falls right into position to get hit with The Brass Monkey. Bobby attempts it, but Wolf dodges it. Bobby lands on his feet but turns right into Wolf’s finisher.

Remi: THE KILL! THE KILL! HE HIT IT OUT OF NOWHERE!

The crowd pops. Wolf pulls Bobby away from the ropes and covers while the crowd counts along.

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

The ref calls for the bell. “Of Wolf and Man” plays.

Jessica: The winner of this contest, the APW Hardcore Champion, Dean Wolf!

Clearwater: Bobby Beauregard pulled out all the stops tonight, but all it took was one miss of the Brass Money and one Kill to put this one in the books!

The ref hands Wolf his belt and the champ leans up against the corner. He looks at the crowd spent and mouths the word “Wow.” Pontii helps Bobby up to his feet, but before they leave, Wolf stops them. Pontii tries to get in Wolf’s face but Wolf ignores him and holds out his hand for Bobby to shake. Bobby looks at the crowd, who encourage him to reciprocate. He cautiously puts his hand out and Wolf grabs it, giving him a hearty handshake. The crowd cheers the good sportsmanship of both men. Wolf backs away and applauds Bobby while Bobby and his manager leave the ring.

Clearwater: Wolf said that if Bobby Beauregard gave him a run for his money, he’d shake his hand and applaud him, and that’s exactly what he did!

Remi: I don’t know if I’d shake a guys hand after he hit me in the dick.

Clearwater: Regardless, Wolf appreciated the type of contest Beauregard put him through. We’ll be right back with more Metal!

The show goes to commercial as Wolf leaves the ring and heads up the aisle.

We fade in from commercial break where all of a sudden we see a familiar sight.  Arthur Pleasant, Alpha Pro’s resident Provocateur, is holding a sign.   Uh-oh.  We’ve all seen this before, haven't we?  Only this time, instead of the name Eddie Silk on a piece of neon green poster board, we see the name “sPANKy O' FUCKTARDessey”. Various passerby’s make a wide berth for Arthur, knowing full well what his purpose is with this sign.  A look of discontent is glued to his face like brain matter to the wall after a kiss from a hollow point.

Suddenly, Spanky O'Shaughnessey stops dead upon seeing the sign and its possessor.

Spanky O’s: Oh… oh no.

Arthur immediately begins laughing. Clearing his voice, Arthur shakes his head, adding as “tsk, tsk, tsk.”.

Arthur "The Provocateur" Pleasant: You fucking piece of shit.

Spanky O’s: Come on, Arthur. I was j-just doing my j-

Arthur "Jesus Christ Did He Just Say That" Pleasant: Ohhhh you really really REEEEEEALLY don’t want to finish that sentence. Because if the word “job” was going to be the finish, I’ll stop you quicker than you stopped me last week.

Arthur flings the sign.

Spanky O’s: Please, n-no…

Arthur "Hide The Gasoline and Matches" Pleasant: N-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-ooooo? (Mocking Spanky) Oooohhh Mistah Pleasant, you weren’t answering Zombie’s punches so I thought I should end it to protect you!!

He shakes his head and WALLOPS Spanky with a smack across the face. Spanky cries out in pain and holds his right cheek. Arthur’s gloved handprint immediately appears on Spanky’s face with the picture of a poop emoji dead center from a studded middle portion of the fabric that could not be seen by the naked eye.

Arthur "Ain't No Such Thing As a God Complex When You're a God" Pleasant: You realize what you did you fucking miserable waste of flesh? You… delayed me.
Spanky looks confused.

Arthur "New York Style Pizza Is The Fucking Best" Pleasant: Oh sure, you stopped the match. But, you didn’t. stop. me. Because whether those idiot fucking mouth-breathers out there in the FedEx Forum, (he turned to the camera), right here in the inbred capital of the WORLD, Memphis , Tennessee!!

He gave a thumbs down and blew a raspberry as the boos became deafening. No doubt everyone in attendance is watching this from the AlphaTron.

Arthur "Don't Cum On My Pancakes" Pleasant: Whether they want to believe it or not…. I simply cannot… be… stopped. Time is the only thing keeping me from ascending to greatness and forcing the masses to bow down to the disorder and madness in which I represent.

He checks on Spanky’s cheek to make sure he’s okay… then smacks the OTHER one! The crowd boos mercilessly by Arthur’s bullying.

Arthur "Did He Really Just Say That" Pleasant: The world of professional wrestling is… shook. From Ziggy McStardust, to Canadian Cocklicious, to my opponent tonight himself, Smith Jones… IF THAT IS HIS REAL NAME… they are all absolutely, positively, unequivocally… fucking…. SHOOK. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist with a planet reaching telescope to figure this shit out, Spunky, now does it?

He twisted Spanky’s head back and forth with his own arms.

Arthur "Make Sure You Fast Before Getting a Double Colonic" Pleasant: You’re lucky that my checks haven’t come through yet and that I’m sorta broke as a motherfucker. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be getting a couple of love taps from me. I would be sending your fucking face into the meat grinder and making sausage out of it for catering. Because I’m sure that would cost me a cuppa hunnid thou-thou or so given that no promotion I’ve ever been apart of ever takes too kindly to abuse on the workforce. Hehehe…

There was a slight sigh of relief coming from Spanky, but he tried not to show it in the face of someone so unstable and ready to explode. Arthur sucked his teeth and thought about it for a moment. Then, nudging Spanky playfully on the chin, he continued.

Arthur "Buddy Roman's Sweaty AF and Will Probably Die From a Heart Attack" Pleasant: So I want you to do me a favor, ya little droopy eyed cunt. I want you to look me in the eye and say something meaningful to me. Something… heartfelt. Something that will make my soul just fucking shoot baby batter all over the damn place like someone watched a Christy Mack gangbang. Hashtag Mack Mondays.

Arthur "The Two-Sided Coin" Pleasant: “Thank You Uncle Arthur!!”.

Spanky O’s: Oh, um…

Spanky finally mustered up the courage to slip away from Arthur’s intimidating encroachments. And then, he took off down the hall, bumping into production team members.

Arthur "Likes Salt-N-Vinegar Potato Chips" Pleasant: The… fuck… is HIS problem? I guess he really, REALLY hates salt n vinegar potato chips.
Shrugging, Arthur laughs.

Arthur "The Unstoppable Train From Hell That Your Parents Tried to Shield You From While Growing Up In Your Shitty Childhood" Pleasant: Everyone has their bugaboos I guess!!

Remi: Ladies and gents, we have come to the first of our co-main events for the evening! And what a contest this is looking to be!!

Clearwater: Indeed, Rem; we have ourselves two extremely talented athletes in the form of the World Champion Smith Jones and the up-and-coming bad boy Arthur Pleasant!!

Remi: Smith Jones has been raining hellfire since coming back from a shocking defeat at the hands of the late Masuda Jubei. After a hellacious match against ZMac at Supremacy, Smitty has taken his duties as World Champion more seriously than a felony.

Clearwater: Indeed, Rem. But the rookie sensation Arthur Pleasant has been "making money moves", as the kids say; barreling through anyone and everyone put before him.

Remi: Looks like Jess is ready to bring this thing in!

Jessica: Ladies and gentlemen, the following non-title contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

“Alright gentlemen…”

A spotlight shines down on one Arthur Pleasant, wearing a half rubber mask of one of the Presidents. It diagonally covers only from his nose down, leaving half his face viewable and the other half covered. The mouth has been cut open with a serrated edge into a smile.

“I want you to repeat after me just how I do it…… ready!?”

He sits with his legs crossed “Indian style” on the stage, leering out at everyone in attendance.

“DA DA, DA DA DA DA DA, DA DA DA DA DA DAAAAA... “

As the hit viral song repeats this over and over, Arthur Pleasant slithers his way up to to his feet. He slowly saunters his way down to the ringside area. The audience cannot help themselves, regardless of their feelings for Arthur, but to clap along to the sinfully addictive tune.

Jessica: Making his way to the ring first! From Utqiaġvik, Alaska, he is the Provocateur! Arthur Pleasant!!!

Once the drop hits and the bass thunders away across the arena, strobe lights illuminate Arthur’s person , which is covered in neon splotches of hidden words that were roughly scribed with magic marker.

“DA DA, DA DA DA DA DA, DA DA DA DA DA DAAAAA... “

Words such as “F34R”, “H4PPY”, “L0V3”, “H4T3”, “J0Y”, “F#CK” cast immediate attention from all eyes watching.

“BRING IT AROUND NOW.”

Before long, the chorus continues and Arthur rolls into the ring and slithers his way into the corner. Removing a tattered button up and a tie that had been run through a shredder and (and crudely taped back together again), Arthur closes his eyes and relishes in the macabre of it all. Looking ahead with the half mask, he takes his thumb and pulls up on the mask, letting it fall to the canvas. Pulling himself up with his scraggly hair, Arthur readies for battle by throwing up his fists in mocking fashion. His music dies down slowly as Jessica prepares her mic.

Jessica: And his opponent!!

The opening guitar riff from Linkin Park's ‘Waiting For The End’ plays, followed by that haunting double piano note as all of the lights in the arena blast to full white. The lights start to slowly fade to darkness as every spotlight in the joint floods the entranceway with bright white light. Smith Jones comes out onto the stage dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. The World Title is securely fastened around his waist. Jones stops at the top of the ramp and looks out across the crowd as many of them chant "I'm right here! I'm right here! I'm right here!"

Jessica: From Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds... he is your APW World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion... there is only one... SMITH JONES!!!

Smith strides confidently down to ringside. He mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the ring apron before parting the ropes and taking centre. He steps forward to towards the ropes and removes his championship belt, hanging it from the top rope and snapping it in place. He raises his right fist in the air and looks up at it. Smith opens his hand and spreads his fingers out wide as he lets go of everything outside the ring and focuses on the fight before him. Jones removes his robe and hands it to ringside before stretching up for the match. The referee unsnaps The World Title belt and removes it from the top rope, handing it to the timekeeper. Smith sports that signature stone scowl that says everything is not going to be okay for his opponent.

Clearwater: These two seem rather evenly matched here. About the same height and weight, very similar fighting styles… one has to think that it will come down to Smitty's veteran knowledge versus Pleasant's unpredictability.

Remi: You're joking, right? Look, I like Arthur and all, but the guy got slaughtered by ZMac last week. You really think he's got a shot against the World Champion??

Clearwater: Smitty got himself a taste of humble pie courtesy of our Hardcore Champ last week. The mental detriment from that is just as bad as any physical damage Zombie could inflict.


Smitty and Arthur circle the ring a bit, measuring each other up. Jones takes a step forward, raising an arm. Arthur looks at it, a slight grin as he begins to step forward… then changes his mind, backing off. He thinks for a moment, stepping up again… but once again backs away. He holds up an index finger, walking to a corner to confer with… himself…

Clearwater: What in the world?

Remi: Someone forgot to take his meds. And frankOOOH, DAYUM.

Remi is caught off guard as Jones has thrown himself across the ring, aiming to body Pleasant. Arthur, however, manages to avoid it at the last possible moment by side-stepping the move, Smitty hitting the corner hard. He stumbles off, Arthur planting a boot to the back of Smith's head, dropping the Champion to his knees. The Provocateur takes a few steps back, grinning as he stalks Jones. Smitty starts to his feet, shaky.

Remi: The Provocateur looking to put this one to bed quickly!! Looks like he's setting up for that devastating Provocation finisher already!!

Smith begins to turn, Arthur charging up… Jones drops to the floor, Pleasant missing the flying extended kick and dropping to the mat. He rolls over, grabbing the ropes as he starts back to his feet. Smitty stands, huffing.

Clearwater: The Champ has his wits about him again!! Arthur might end up paying for that little show!!

Pleasant to his feet, he spins around… And is immediately bombarded with heavy strikes from Smitty!! Arthur struggles in vain to cover his face, Jones relentlessly jabbing into Pleasant's sides and head. The Provocateur falls back into the ropes, heeding the referee's attention as he calls for Jones to back off. Smitty reaches a count of four before he throws his hands up, taking a step or two back before firing out with a slap to Arthur's chest.

Remi: Now that was entirely uncalled for!!

Clearwater: Smith Jones is not one to make a fool of! If he feels embarrassed, he WILL make you pay for it!!

The ref checks on Pleasant, who shakes off the cobwebs. Smith watches on as Arthur cautiously walks over, eyeing the champ. Smith again raises an open palm to the sky.

Remi: Oh, gawds. Again?

This time, however, Arthur extends his own arm to meet Smith's, their hands interlocking. Jones extends the other arm, Arthur responding in kind. Smith automatically puts his weight into his grip, forcing Arthur to a knee. Pleasant tries to struggle out, but is stuck as Smith has the upper hand. Arthur begins to formulate a plan, Smith simply focusing on inflicting as much pain as possible. The Provocateur arches back ever so slightly…

Clearwater: A boot to the shin!! Arthur just broke the tie-up with a kick to Smitty's shin and buys himself some time!!

Remi: But the man's gotta stay on top of Jones! You can't give the Champ time to recover…

Arthur stands, launching a series of kicks at Smith's injured leg. Jones drops to his healthy knee, giving Pleasant a wide open target as he lands a succession of shin kicks to the chest of Smitty!!

Remi: Smith's chest is redder than ZMac's eyes after snorting his fifth line of coke!!

Clearwater: Arthur Pleasant has the upper hand once more! Can he keep it up?!

Pleasant takes a step back, allowing Smith time to breathe. He steps back up, another flurry of kicks to the chest. He steps back again, a sick grin as Smitty doubles over, charging up again with a kick. However, Smitty grabs Arthur's leg, quickly hoisting the upstart onto his shoulders and stands… powerbomb!! The sudden impact separates the two men enough to give Smith recovery time as Pleasant is taken aback.

Clearwater: Desperation move from the champ, but it pays dividends as he manages to get a little breather there!!

Smitty rolls into a corner, nursing his knee. Arthur crawls towards the nearest set of ropes he can find, pulling himself to a knee. He turns, watching Smith apply pressure to his knee as best he can. Pleasant now to his feet, he stalks over to Smitty. Jones grabs the top ropes, pulling himself up as Arthur gets close.

Clearwater: Smitty with a right jab!!

Remi: But Pleasant shoots back with a kick to the ribs!!

Clearwater: A left hook from Jones!!

Remi: A kick to Smith's good knee!!

Clearwater: A haymaker to Pleasant's jaw!!

Remi: Leaping knee to Smitty!!

The crowd is going insane as these two men continue to dish out punishment to each other, punches and kicks flying everywhere. Smitty drops a hard forearm to Arthur's chest, dropping him back several feet; but Pleasant quickly charges up with a flying heel kick! Smith drops into the turnbuckle, stumbling out as Arthur stands from behind and hits a sick German suplex!! Smitty rolls outside the ring, holding his head.

Clearwater: The Provocateur is throwing everything he's got into an absolute onslaught to the champ!!

Remi: But does he have enough to actually finish the job?? Smitty may be outside, but he's also being given time to recuperate!

Arthur grins as the referee begins to count, Pleasant backing into a corner and jumping up to lay across the ropes. Smith shakes off the cobwebs, making his way into a seated position against the crowd barrier.

One... Two... Three... Four...

Clearwater: This is exactly what you don't want to do if you're Arthur Pleasant. I get taking a break for yourself, but Smitty can easily slide into that ring again and be ready for another go round.

Five... Six... Seven...

Remi: Are you saying Arthur isn't?

Clearwater: I'm saying that Jones isn't the World Champion for nothing.

Eight...

Smith stands, launching into the ring. Arthur drops from the turnbuckles, charging at Jones. Smitty ducks a lariat attempt, charging past and rebounding. It's then Arthur's turn to duck, barely clearing a clothesline from Smith. Pleasant sees his opportunity as both men rebound again, Arthur jumping up with a PROVOCATION!! NO!! Smith sees it coming and spins out of the way! Arthur to his feet, turning around… butterfly suplex!! Arthur rolls out of the ring now, holding his head as Smitty stalks him from inside the ring. Arthur crawls around, looking for any form of support to get to his feet as Smith starts to get antsy inside the ring…

Clearwater: Jones is rearing to go here!! Pleasant is in trouble!

Remi: Stay down, Arthur!! JUST STAY DOWN!!

Arthur is not able to hear Remi's warning, and as such is taken by surprise as he actually manages to his feet, turning around… TOMORROW!!!

Clearwater: And that suicide tope just splatters Pleasant across the floor!! Smitty is on a roll!! The fans love it!!

Remi: Oh, I had such high hopes for Arthur…

Jones quickly grabs up a lock of Arthur's hair, pulling him up to his feet. The Champ throws the Provocateur into the ring, jumping up to the apron and through the ropes. As Arthur struggles to gain his faculties, Smith makes his way up the nearest turnbuckle; stopping at the second to pull his kneepad down…

Clearwater: Smitty is looking to end this, here and now!!

Remi: If he hits this move, Pleasant is done for!!

Smith Jones dives off the second turnbuckle with a picture-perfect knee drop to the back of Pleasant's head.

Clearwater: GRAVITAS! IT'S OVER!

Remi: Jones hooks the leg...

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!


Jessica: The winner of this match -- SMITH JONES!!!!

Linkin Park's "Waiting for the End" thunders through the arena to a massive cheer from the crowd as the champ accepts his belt back from the ref. He straps it across his waist and takes a moment to soak in the adulation, then acknowledges the fans with a brief nod before making his way back up the ramp.
