Clearwater: Welcome back, APW faithful, to another edition of Monday Night Metal, streaming LIVE from right here in Charlottesville, Virginia -- and have we got a stacked card for you tonight!

Remi: When do we not, bro? Every match, every show, is hawt fyah! Especially when ZMAC is in the house!

Clearwater: You’re not lying, Remi! Tonight’s lineup features not one, but TWO tag team matches. In our opener, Johnny Blaze and Alex Scott take on the unlikely duo of Road Dawg and Bobby “Definitely Not a Gorilla” (even though we all know he is) Beauregard, and --

Remi: DUDE! That man is a citizen of the Congo and he’s deaf! Someone needs to send you to sensitivity training!

Clearwater: -- and later on, Spartan and Tsukiko team up against Jaice Wilds and Kylie Moore! Four of the most competitive athletes in the business, you better believe this match is going to be lit!

Remi: The Junior Heavyweight Title is on the line tonight, as my dude Steven Osbourne defends against the increasingly mis-named Jobber Dave!

Clearwater: Tonight also sees the semi-final round of APW’s inaugural World Title Contendership Tournament! Wildcard winner “Jazzy” John McCarty versus Night, who won his opportunity in a seven-person ladder match at Supremacy! “Guru Daddy” Wesley faces “The DotCom Mogul” Zion Simmons! And the “Provocateur” Arthur Pleasant squares off with the legendary Zombie McMorris!

Remi: And that’s not even the best part, bro! There’s still the main event! Two champions! A rivalry reaching its boiling point! Hardcore Champion Dean Wolf! World Champion Smith Jones! Whose style is better? We’ll find out tonight!

Johnny Blaze/Alex Scott vs Road Dawg/Bobby "Definitely Not a Gorilla" Beauregard

Jessica Kaine: The following match is a tag team match and is scheduled for one fall and will have no time limit. Coming to the first… hailing from Anaheim, California… weighing in at an even two hundred pounds… it is The Answer… The Gift… The Future… THE ALL! DAY! SUPERSTAR! ALEX! SCOTT!

"Fight Like the Devil" begins, and there is a brief murmuring of fans. As the song picks up, Alex Scott parts the curtain, a look of focus and minor indifference on his face. Scott walks to the ring ignoring the crowd and focussed on the ring. He has the hood of his sweatshirt over his head, his face lacks emotion for this moment - he is concentrating on the competition.

Remi: That is a man that intends to win tonight; partner be damned. The focus. The lack of emotion. This is the big stage and he intends to steal the show. Look at the face, bro.

Alex Scott gets to the ring apron and uses the ropes to pull himself up onto the apron, maintaining his hold on the ropes he stretches before stepping into the ring. He walks to the furthest top turnbuckle and climbs onto the top of it.

Remi: Such concentration, bro!

Once on top he removes his hooded sweatshirt and simply drops it nonchalantly on the outside of the ring. He looks up to the ramp intensely focusing on his the curtain and the arrival of his opponent.

Clearwater: Scott is focused and is ready for the arrival of Johnny Blaze here. Blaze is a current contender to the hardcore title.

Remi: Look at those eyes, bro. Lasers.

Jessica: His partner...fighting out of Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at three hundred and thirty pounds… he is “The Phenom” Johnny Blaze.

The lights in the arena go dim as 'Lit Up' by Buckcherry begins playing.The rampway explodes in fire down the length of and Johnny Blaze walks out onto the ramp. He points to Alex Scott who is sitting on the turnbuckle staring at him.

Remi: Johnny Blaze on fire, bro.

The pyro dies out and Blaze walks to the ring. He walks around the ring, not taking his eyes of Alex Scott - whose head turns like an owls to follow Blaze as he walks around the ringside area high-fiving fans and shaking hands. Blaze gets to the otherside of the ring to Alex Scott and walks up the ring steps and steps between the second and third ropes to enter the ring.

Jessica: Their opponents… coming to the ring first… weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds… the Alpha Pro Wrestling North American Champion… He is ROAD DAWG!!

“I’ve Been Everywhere” by some random rock band covering Johnny Cash blasts out over the PA system. Road Dawg roars out on his custom motorcycle;. he roars down the ramp to the ring, as pyro’s explode out of the ring posts. He roars around the ring before parking the hog, Dawg hops off the hog and slides into the ring opposite his opponents.

Jessica: His partner… fighting out of the Democratic Republic of Congo… weighing in at three hundred and forty five pounds...accompanied to the ring by Pete Pontii… it is Bobby “Definitely Not a Gorilla” Beauregard.
“Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns and Roses plays over the PA. Bobo walks out accompanied by Pete Pontii, and ambles his way to the ring and climbs onto the turnbuckles and stands beating his chest like he is King Kong on top of the Empire State Building.

DING DING DING!

Alex Scott forces his way past Johnny Blaze to be the first in the ring, while Road Dawg gladly lets Bobby Beauregard take the first shift.

Clearwater: One team already seems to have infighting while the other looks to be ready to work together.

After seeing Beauregard as his opponent, Alex Scott quickly tags Johnny Blaze into the ring,.

Clearwater: Scott not wanting to fight the gorilla.

Remi: Definitely not a gorilla, bro.

Blaze, unfazed by his opponent charges and immediately his Bobby with a running clothesline. Blaze bounces off the ropes and hit a second clothesline. Beauregard is sent to the mat but he jumps straight back to his feet - Blaze goes a third clothesline but Bobby gets a boot up to the midsection as Blaze is running at him. Blaze doubles over and Bobby grabs Blaze around the head.

Clearwater: THE GORILLA IS BITING HIM!! HE IS BITING HIM!!

Remi: Definitely not a gorilla, bro.

Bobby pulls his teeth off the back of Blaze’s head and slams into the mat with a sitdown facebuster before pounding on his chest, proud. Pete Ponti on the outside screams at Bobby..Bobby picks Blaze up off the mat, and Blaze counters with a punch to the face as he is being brought to his feet. This causes Bobby to react like a wild beast slapping at the pain in his face. Blaze takes advantage and kicks him in the gut and immediately picks him up and drops him into the matt with an absolutely devastating powerslam. Blaze runs back to bounce off the ropes but Alex Scott tags him on the back.

Clearwater: Alex Scott sees his chance to take on the gorilla.

Remi: Definitely not a gorilla, bro.

Blaze and Scott in the corner before the daughter of Eddie Silk, Jasmine tells Scott to get to fighting, Blaze gets out of Scott’s way reluctantly when Bobby has recovered runs and grabs Scott in a bearhug and starts trying to chomp at him face, but Scott keeps moving his head side to side to avoid the bites before he wriggles an arm free and pokes Beauregard in the eye forcing Bobby B to release the brutal bearhug. Scott displays his impressive athleticism and staggers Bobby backwards with a pretty dropkick. Scott immediately follows up with another impressive dropkick which sends Bobby staggering backwards into Road Dawg, who had been standing disinterested on the ring apron.

Remi: The best North American Champion is getting into the ring now.

Clearwater: Pete Pontii having trouble getting Bobby out of the ring.

Remi: Definitely not a gorilla, bro.

Scott runs at Road Dawg he raises a boot and kicks Scott straight in the head. The Dawg comes straight after Scott and grabs around the head with a facelock and sends him down down down into the mat with a vicious DDT.

Clearwater: OOOH!

One!

Two!!

Remi: The Future KICKS OUT!!

Scott rolls to the ropes after kicking out of that deadly and devastating DDT. Road Dawg comes forward after him but Scott mule kicks him in the dick,

Remi: DICK KICK! DICK KICK!

Clearwater: Wrong company - we don’t get that excited when men touch other men on other men on the pee pee here, Remi.

Remi: BUT DICK KICK, BRO!

Clearwater: We are better than that.

Scott follows the low blow up with a float over reverse neckbreaker having Road Dawg crash to the mat. Scott comes back with a cover of his own.

One!

Two!!

Clearwater: FOOT ON THE ROPE!!

Scott looks at Jasmine Silk who has stopped counting.

Clearwater: Alex Scott is arguing with Jessica Silk but she is adamant that The Road Dawg got his foot on the rope. ANDERSON PIN!!

One!

Two!!

Remi: Scott kicks out.

A flustered Scott gets to his feet and confront Road Dawg. He shoves him back into his corner and Blaze grabs Road Dawg around the throat and neck. Scott swings a punch but he clocks Blaze in the jaw when Road Dawg ducks. Road Dawg rolls through and tags Beauregard in who runs in behind Scott and throws him out of the ring and follow him out of the ring. Jasmine Silk looks around and see Bobby Beauregard smashing Alex Scotts head into floor.

One...

Johnny Blaze comes out behind Bobby Beauregard and spins him around.

Two...

Blaze punches Bobby in the face.

Three...

Blaze kicks Bobby in the gut.

Four...

Alex Scott finds his way back into the ring and cuts Road Dawg off who was looking to join the action on the outside.

Five...

PILEDRIVER!! Johnny Blaze takes Bobby down with a piledriver on the outside.

Six...

HURICANRANA!! Road Dawg takes Scott down with a huricanrana.

Seven...

Blaze rolls back into the ring breaking up the count.

Clearwater: The gorilla looks lost now. That piledriver has him down.

Remi: Definitely not a gorilla, bro.

Jasmine Silk is yelling at Johnny Blaze to get out of the ring. Road Dawg is coming over to grabs Blaze. Silk starts yelling at Road Dawg that he is not the legal man. Alex Scott comes up behind.

Remi: OH SHIT BRO!

Clearwater: Jasmine Silk is down!! Alex Scott went to his Road Dawg with a superkick but he ducked the mouth and Scott connected with Jasmine Silk right on the point of the jaw.

Remi: SHE IS OUT COLD, BRO!

Clearwater: And now the gorilla is back in the ring.

Remi: Definitely not a gorilla, bro.

Bobby Beauregard squares off with Alex Scott, as another referee rushes down the ramp to take Silk's place. Bobby lunges at Scott, who dances out of the way and nails a kick to the back of Beauregard's leg. Bobo roars in frustration, but Scott is unstoppable. He hits the ropes --

Clearwater: CODEBREAKER! The gorilla is DOWN!

Remi: NOT A GORILLA!

Clearwater: Scott with the cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: The winners of this match -- JOHNNY BLAZE and ALEX SCOTT!

Scott's music hits the speakers and the crowd sings along while he celebrates in the ring. Meanwhile, medics help Jasmine Silk to her feet and escort her to the back, while Beauregard follows behind his manager. Road Dawg disappears into the crowd. Johnny Blaze takes a moment to enjoy the victory, then leaves Alex to have his moment.

Remi: Upset victory from Scott and Blaze here tonight! Blaze leaving the ring now, and you have to assume it's because he's got bigger things on his mind right now. In just two weeks, he'll be cashing in that Hardcore Title shot he earned at Jubeilation, but tonight he's got the opportunity to scout the champ himself when Dean Wolf takes on Smith Jones! Don't miss it!

APW World Title Contendership Tournament Semifinal

“Jazzy” John McCarty vs Night

Clearwater: In our second bout of the night, we see wildcard slot winner “Jazzy” John take on Night, the man who defeated six other competitors at Supremacy to win a guaranteed spot in the semifinals of APW’s first ever World Title Contendership Tournament!

Remi: These two are both top prospects here in APW, Mikey-bro, but I gotta give the edge to McCarty. He’s been on a hot streak lately. Besides, guys with only one name -- super lame.

Clearwater: Says the man who goes by only one name.

Remi: ...That’s different.

The camera pans around the crowd, showing their excitement. The camera then cuts to John McCarty, trumpet in hand, playing 'When The Saints Go Marching In'. The crowd sings along.

'O when the saints...
'Go marching in...
'Now, when the Saints go marching in...
'Yes, I want to be in that number...
'When the Saints go marching in'

He gives the trumpet to a backstage worker as 'Peaches en Regalia' plays through the arena speakers. He hypes of the crowd as he walks to the ramp.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is for entry into the final round of the APW World Title Contendership Tournament. Introducing first, from New Orleans, Louisiana -- “JAZZY” JOHN MCCARTY!!!

He walks down the ramp to the beat of the song. He nods his head to acknowledge the crowd and eventually arrives at the ring.

The car horns start as John climbs the steps. He takes his time to enter the ring between the top and middle rope. He rebounds off the ropes. The flute starts to play as John climbs the turnbuckles, and hypes up the crowd again. Eventually, John gets down and leans on the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to start.

Jessica: And his opponent, hailing from parts unknown -- he is the “One-Winged Angel”, NIGHT!!!

The lights go out and the sounds of Lonely and Faded away fill the arena. Night appears at the entrance and starts pacing towards the ring.

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: Both men lock up and it’s McCarty with the early advantage as he moves Night back with a powerful shove. Night comes right back at him, and gets caught with a big back elbow!

Remi: See, this is what I’m talking about! Dude’s a total newb! McCarty may have been a perpetual midcarder at the old Dub, but he’s here to prove all the haters wrong and that starts right here, right now!

McCarty presses his advantage, hooking Night’s arms from behind for a big Dragon Suplex!

Clearwater: Dragon Suplex, and a cover!

One!

Remi: But only a one-count! Jazzman still in control… NO!

Night slips out of McCarty’s grip and delivers a hard kick to the midsection before rushing across the ring. He waits for John to straighten -- and charges in!

Clearwater: Running dropkick from Night! Now it’s McCarty on the mat and Night going for the rollup -- not quite!

John escapes the rollup attempt and leaps to his feet. He lunges after Night, who nails McCarty with a forearm, then hits the ropes.

Remi: Flying lariat! The Jazzy One is down!

Clearwater: Night not going for the cover this time, though. He pulls McCarty back to a standing position -- snap suplex! Amazing! Now the pin!

One!

Two!!

Remi: John with the shoulder up! It’s gonna take more than that to keep him on the mat, my dude!

Night moves McCarty into position for his patented Rising Star suplex, trapping one arm in a chickenwing -- but before Night can get the other arm, McCarty slips out of his hold and reverses and pulls Night in for a Northern Lights suplex!

Clearwater: These two men demonstrating the variety and versatility of the suplex here tonight!

Remi: The Jazzman going for another pin, but Night shoves him off before the ref can get there!

Shaking his head, Night rolls back to his feet, while McCarty stalks him. McCarty moves in. Night ducks a hasty clothesline, and returns with an enzuigiri attempt.

Clearwater: Enzuigiri from Night!

Remi: Denied! McCarty blocks it with a swinging spike DDT! AD LIB! And it’s lights out for Night!

McCarty drops to cover, hooking the leg.

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica: And the winner of this match -- advancing to the final round of the World Title Contendership Tournament -- “JAZZY” JOHN MCCARTY!!!!

“Peaches en Regalia” hits the speakers to a huge pop from the fans, while Jazzy John climbs the turnbuckle, posing for the audience as he basks in their adulation.

Clearwater: John McCarty, picking up another solid victory here in Charlottesville tonight!

Spartan Segment

“Unstoppable” by For the Fallen Dreams begins to echo over the PA system of John Paul Jones Arena; the arena goes black and then strobes begin flashing in a seemingly random pattern over the crowd before focusing on the entrance way. The spotlight on the entrance lights up gold.

Spartan appears in his ring attire; black trunks, shirtless; every one of his proudly defined muscles exposed, black boots and the North American Championship belt fastened firmly around his waist - where every good champion should wear his championship belt. The flashing stops, with a single beam of gold light focused on him. Spartan raises his arms out beside his body and roars, before the arena flashes into darkness and then the lights quickly return to normal.

Spartan runs to the ring - he leaps onto the apron in a single jump and grabs the top rope and slingshots himself into the ring over the top rope. He lands should first and rolls the landing before exploding from the canvas to a turnbuckle opposite him. He climbs and raises both fists in the air before removing the North American belt and raising it above his head to the resounding cheers of the crowd, before re-fastening the belt around his waist.

As the crowd noise dies down and his music fades out, he reaches down from the top turnbuckle and his handed a microphone by the lovely ring announcer Jessica Kaine.

Spartan: Last week. I walked down that very ramp and climbed into this very ring and made it perfectly clear that I was not a man that was afraid of challeng. That I was not afraid of a fight.. You know what happened.

Spartan jumps off the turnbuckle and leans back against it.

Spartan: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No cheap shot attacks from behind. Now social media callouts by some fool deluded by his own perceived grandeur like Allen Anderson. No one willing to come and prove their mettle against champion. Nothing.

Spartan starts walking along the ropes.

Spartan: You know I thought I would get more than that. I really did. But you know what that’s all fine and Dandy. I will just keep turning up to this ring every single week and I will keep knocking down whoever our esteemed General Manager puts in front of him. Until I meet someone that I can’t knock down and then I will keep coming back until I do knock them down because that’s what I do.

Spartan stops walking when he gets to the next turnbuckle

Spartan: I fight.

CROWD: AND YOU FIGHT!

Spartan: And I fight some more.

CROWD: AND YOU FIGHT!

Spartan: And I keeping fighting.

CROWD: AND YOU FIGHT!

Spartan: Until I can’t get up… but then I come back to fight again.

CROWD: AND YOU FIGHT! AND YOU FIGHT! AND YOU FIGHT!

Spartan laughs, before motioning his arms in a downward direction to calm them down. He waits for the noise to subside.

Spartan: Alright. Alright… Later tonight, you’re going to see me in action; teaming with Tsukiko taking on Jaice Wilds and Kylie Moore and truth be told it’s going to be a fight…

CROWD: FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Spartan: Whoa. Whoa. Calm down. Jaice and I - it ain’t our first rodeo together and we don’t know what Kylie Moore is coming to the ring - focussed or flippant. But the real wildcard in all of this is Tsukiko. See she could kick me in the back of the head like she did our World Champion Smith Jones or she could realise that at her core she and I are all about the same thing - the competition, the battle, the war… the fight!

CROWD: FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Spartan: How did I know you guys were going to do that. You know what, if the Fox kicks me in the back of the head - so be it. She’s making her statements clear, and I can handle that. But if she wants to take down Wilds and Moore with me. Then so be that too - because that’s the thrill of the…

Spartan drops the mic in the ring and steps out through the ropes and the crowd takes their cue.

CROWD: FIGHT!

Spartan drops down off the apron and starts heading back through the curtains as “Unstoppable” plays and the crowd chants “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”

Junior Heavyweight Championship
Jobber Dave vs Steven Osbourne©

Jessica Kaine: The following match is for the Alpha Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Title! It is scheduled for one fall with no time limit. Coming to the ring from the dumpsters behind the local Walmart, weighing in at two hundred pounds and nine pounds of unwashed filth… it is… JOBBER DAVE!!

There is no music as Jobber Dave runs out with his mask backwards. He almost runs out the edge of the stage, but stops just in time and turns his mask around. He runs down the ramp to the ring to the moderate cheers of the crowd. He trips as he is running, he falls and slides under the ring to the laughter of the crowd.

Dave pulls himself out from under the ring and has a can of root beer in his right and in his left hand a turkey leg of which he is gnawing on voraciously

Remi: That’s MY ROOT BEER! THAT’S MY CANADIAN TURKEY LEG!

Fever for the Flavor by Hot Action Cop begins to play and Steven Osbourne struts through the curtain carrying his trusty address book to a mixed reaction from the crowd as Steven Osbourne struts through the curtain, stops at the edge of the stage, and raises his address book, as thick as the Bible high overhead.

Jessica: And his opponent,... fighting out of Sexville, with the population of you... the current A.P.W Junior Heavyweight Champion, the “Super Sexy Boogeyman Slayer” -- STEVEN OSBOURNE!!!

He starts heading down the aisle, as he does he hands pamphlets out to the fans who line the ramp and the ringside area. He circulates his paraphernalia around the entire ringside area before entering the ring by climbing the steps and stepping the ropes. He approaches the centre of the ring and once more holds his bible aloft. He hands the address book off to our referee, Eddie Silk. He then flicks open to a page and mouths “she’s easy” before removing the belt from around his waist and handing it over.

Eddie Silk raises the belt above his head.

DING DING DING!

Dave charges at Steve Osbourne who duck backwards and tangles himself in the ropes and calls time out.

Clearwater: You can’t call a time out. This isn’t the NBA!

Remi: That cheat, Silk obviously called for the bell for Osbourne was ready.

Silk holds Dave back as Osbourne pulls himself out of the ropes. Silk checks on Osbourne and makes sure he is ready to go again. Silk signals for the men to fight. Jobber Dave runs at Osbourne who points down at Jobber Dave’s wrestling boots.

Osbourne: Laces untied.

Jobber Dave stops running and looks down at his points and Osbourne gives him an uppercut when he is looking at his laces, the punch stands Dave up and The Boogeyman slayer starts hitting Dave with exaggerated punches sending him back to the ropes. Osbourne winds up for the final punch but Jobber Dave ducks under the punch and rolls Osbourne up with an Anderson Pin. Eddie Silk slides into position for the count.

One!

Clearwater: WE COULD HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!!

Two!!

Remi: NO!! YESS! Osbourne kicks out.

The Super Sexy Boogeyman Slayer jumps to his feet and points at Jobber Dave,,,

Osbourne: YOU TOUCHED MY LITTLE STEVIE!!

Jobber Dave looks down at his right hand, which he used for the roll up and shakes it like it is dirty before he runs after Eddie Silk trying to wipe it on the referee. Silk runs away from Dave. Dave gives up on chasing Eddie and turns back around into a kick to the balls be Steve Osbourne. Jobber Dave no sells the shot.

Remi: WHAT!

Dave stands there and flexes and Osbourne kicks him in the balls again. And again Dave does not flinch. Osbourne goes to kick him again but Osbourne counters with an enzugiri knocking Dave to the mat, Osbourne immediately reaches into Dave’s pants and pulls out a metal cup. Osbourne picks Dave up and takes him over with a snap suplex before climbing the ropes and trying for a moonsault, but Dave rolls out of the way to the corner of the ring where he left his turkey leg.

Remi: THAT’S MINE!

Dave takes a bite of the turkey leg and jumps to his feet. Osbourne is slow standing and Dave kicks him in the head. Osbourne fall back to the mat and Dave quickly drops an elbow on his prone body. Dave returns to his turkey and takes another bite.

Remi: STOP EATING MY TURKEY!!

Dave turns around and sees Osbourne coming

Clearwater: Did Dave just hit Osbourne in the face with that turkey leg.

Remi: He turkey slapped him, bro. WITH MY TURKEY!!!

Osbourne staggers backwards, shocked after being turkey slapped. Dave goes after Osbourne but The Super Sexy Boogeyman Slayer sees him coming and takes him to the mat with a drop toe hold. Dave drops the turkey and Steven picks it up and rips the meat from the bone before discarding over the ropes. Dave gets up and Steve spits all his turkey meat into his face.

Remi: Osbourne just blew chunks in Dave’s face. MY CHUNKS!!

Clearwater: Dave is angry. And Osbourne just Eliminated the Competition!!

Dave doubles over from the low blow without protection. As Dave straightens in agony, Osbourne leaps onto his shoulders and takes him to the mat into a pinning predicament.

Clearwater: Osbourne could have this.

Remi: I just want my turkey back!

Two!!

Clearwater: NOOO! Jobber Dave channels his Regular Dave strength and kicks out

Dave rolls away and Osbourne comes after him. He mounts Dave from behind and starts slapping the back of his head and trying to remove his mask. Dave holds onto his mask to stop Steve from taking until Osbourne stands up bring Dave with him, he whips him into the corner and Dave crashes hard and slumps down, sitting on the mat, Osbourne runs after him and jumps and hits Dave with a bronco buster.

Remi: RIDE HIM STEVIE!!

Osbourne gets up and then hits a dropkick to his seated opponent. Dave rebounds out of the corner. Osbourne bends down to pick Dave up off the mat but Dave grabs Osbourne’s pink tights and pulls them down, exposing his white buttocks. As he starts Dave drives a knee into the ribs of Osbourne double him over Dave’s knee.

Clearwater: DO IT DAVE!

Jobber Dave raises a hand and spanks Osbourne on the ass. Osbourne leaps away and rolls under the bottom rope as he pulls his pants up, Dave stands in the middle of the ring - flexing his mighty biceps.

Osbourne steps back into the ring while Dave is flexing for the adoring crowd and delivers a superkick -- right to Dave's junk!

Remi: SWEET GROIN MUSIC!

Poor Dave drops to his knees, holding himself, and Osbourne takes advantage of the moment. He hefts Jobber Dave up and climbs up to stand on the second rope, then drops off with a devastating piledriver!

Clearwater: LOVE 'EM AND LEAVE 'EM! That's the fat lady singing right there, Remi! Osbourne with the rollup -- and he's got his feet on the ropes!

Remi: But the ref doesn't see it!

THREE!!!

Clearwater: And that's it! Steven Osbourne retains!

Jessica: The winner of this match, and STILL your APW Junior Heavyweight Champion -- the Super-Sexy Boogyman Slayer, STEVEN OSBOURNE!!!

Osbourne jumps up on the turnbuckle, joined by his two managers, and holds up his title belt to a cheering crowd as we cut away to a commercial.

"Guru Daddy" Wesley vs "The DotCom Mogul" Zion Simmons

Clearwater: Welcome back, as we continue our tournament to find our number one contender for the APW World Championship. Since the break, Zion Simmons has been showering the fans—

St. Remi: With gifts, bro! The entire front row has Imagination T-shirts. And no one can say “no” to a free T!

Clearwater: What’s more surprising is his actual appearance in the ring this week.

St. Remi: Ever since he drove Silvan to madness, there’s been a void in midard talent.

Clearwater: And he has a chance to finally prove himself with a win tonight against one of the hottest stars in APW… speak of the devil—

St. Remi: Don’t you mean, daddy?

Zion balances himself on a Hoverboard just as the arena goes quiet for “Gone Guru” by Lifeseeker reach its opening chorus. Cheers ring throughout the crowd when Wesley walks out onto the stage, a genuine, confident grin plastered on his handsome face. He walks down the ramp, relishing in the rain of pleasure from the hot ass crowd.

Jessica Kaine: On his way to the ring, from Atlanta, Georgia...he is “The Guru Daddy”...WESLEEEEEEY!!!

Clearwater: Here comes Wesley! And he’s giving chase to silicon darling on that mobile scooter!

St. Remi: It’s a Hoverboard… Guru rounds the corner—Zion is just faster!

Clearwater: What a rat bastard! And these fans are filling the entire arena with their rage!

Guru Daddy rounds the corner a third time, but as they pass by a set of steel steps, Zion makes a switchblade turn and launches off his vehicle. This catches Wesley by surprise, dropping him face first onto the steps via drop toehold. Fans hate that even more.

Clearwater: Look at him gloating… he’s making a mockery of this sport!

St. Remi: Settle your pumpkin spice, Karen. If anybody ruined this sport, it’s TV.

Simmons then rolls Guru Daddy Wesley into the ring so their qualifier can actually begin.

DING DING DING!

Zion measures a couple kicks to control their beloved voice of reason. Wesley rises only to meet a spinning back kick like a fanciful toe kick, bending him at the waist. Zion pulls out his phone for a quick selfie before launching into a tornado jawbreaker.

Clearwater: He’s showboating with a second rotation—the Guru Daddy takes control!

St. Remi: He just missed his chance to put this whole match away!

Clearwater: Wesley bends his core at the waist… and he delivers his own jaw breaker to Simmons!

One!

Two!!

Clearwater: Wesley won’t go down that easy. And these fans could not be more pleased with this turn of events.

St. Remi: Definitely, bro, he just gave Zion a taste of his own medicine… and he’s looking to put the billionaire down for good, hooking the arms into place!

Clearwater: Stalling… butterfly suplex!

St. Remi: Good call, Zion! Get out there and find a way back into this fight.

Clearwater: Really? He’s running away, and Guru Wesley isn’t going to fall for that trick a second time!

The Guru Daddy leads the arena in an impromptu zen recitation with what seems to be modified yoga poses. He does something like a downward facing dog—just as Zion slips into the ring for a sneak attack.

Clearwater: Wesley set the trap! Spinning head scissors, tossing the tech whiz across the ring!

St. Remi: Vintage cruiserweight maneuvers, but they’re simple for someone as flexible and attuned as the Guru Daddy… not that he’s my yogi or something… because he’s not!

Clearwater: Right… and he goes behind for an inverted DDT… Simmons with a well-timed elbow!

He takes momentum at the right second, stunning him with that innovative tornado jawbreaker.

Clearwater: The Buy out!

St. Remi: This could be it!

Clearwater: His foot is on the ropes, and Zion is too exhausted to drag all 200-plus pounds of the Guru Daddy to a better spot.

St. Remi: No matter… he’s going up top!

Zion takes another selfies on the top rope before executing a frog splash/elbow drop combination—right on the nose—before rolling Wesley into small package.

One!

Clearwater: He’s using the ropes for leverage!

Two!!

Clearwater: Am I the only one…

THREE!!!

Clearwater: …seeing this?

DING DING DING!

St. Remi: Too late, bro!

Jessica Kaine: Your winner, and advancing to the semi-finals… Zion Simmm-mmmons!

Clearwater: Someone review this match! Zion just stole the match from Wesley!

Spartan/Tsukiko vs Jaice Wilds/Kylie Moore

Monday Night Metal returns from commercial to the sounds of For the Fallen Dreams’ “Unstoppable.” The arena goes black and then strobes begin flashing in a seemingly random pattern over the crowd before focusing on the entrance way. Spartan appears in his in-ring attire, as the flashing stops, with a single beam focused on him. Spartan raises his arms out beside his body and roars, before the arena flashes into darkness and then the lights quickly return to normal. Spartan runs to the ring - he leaps onto the apron in a single jump and grabs the top rope and slings himself into the ring over the top rope. He rolls the landing and explodes to a turnbuckle opposite him. He climbs and raises both fists in the air to illicit a response from the crowd.

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is contested under tag team rules! Making his way first to the ring, from Los Angeles, California -- YOUR APW North American Champion, SPARTAN!!! And his partner…

The lights in the arena dim down as all attention became focused on the entrance; there the titantron lit up with an image of a moon brilliantly shining bright as the slow melodic beginning of Alddious' "We Are" began to play throughout the building. That would carry on till the song picked up at the 27-second mark. When it did the moon on the titantron shattered into hundreds of pieces before shifting to a flurry of clips of a woman hitting various high-risk moves and bone shattering filled the screen one after another. That would carry on until the heavenly vocals began to echo throughout the arena, and when they did the camera (and the attention of the crowd) shifted to a woman wearing a fox mask standing center stage. All the while white and silver tinted light flashed seamlessly and endlessly.

I suffered one day.
I cried one night
Crouching alone looking
like a pupa glowing

Hoping one day to
find something true
I keep on flying high
I won't let you regret

As the vocals continued, the masked woman would hop in place and shake out her hands. That is, until the first of three "We Are"s of the song hit. When they did, the woman stopped hopping and quickly grabbed onto the mask she wore in dramatic fashion. When the second "We Are" hi, the woman titled her mask covered face down. Finally, after the third "We Are", the woman abruptly tilted her head back up and slid the mask off of her face to reveal herself as The Shimmering Kitsune {Kirameku Kitsune} Tsukiko! With her identity now revealed, the crowd loudly began to cheer their support for the young Japanese woman! However, despite the ruckus, a nearby camera managed to pick Tsukiko's voice as she shouted out in excitement over the overwhelming support.

Tsukiko: Takakautame ni jikan!
{Time to Fight!}

Jessica: From Kyoto, Japan. The Shimmering Kitsune, Tsuuuuuuuuukiiiiiiiiiikoooooooo!

With the ring announcer making her official introduction, Tsukiko placed the fox mask back on her head (only it was angled off to the side) and began the walk down to the ring. Along the way, she went about interacting with various members of the crowd. The gentle slapping of hands in the universal high-five. he occasional fist bump. A hug or two. All of these happened along the way as she zig-zagged from one side of the ramp to the other until she reached the ringside area. It was there that she began walking to the steps nearest to her, but came to a stop before she ascended. After taking a moment to look out at the sold-out crowd, Tsukiko slid the fox mask off of her head and turned to those that were in the front row that was closest to her position. It was then that she stepped over to the barricade and handed off her mask to a young fan before darting up the steps and between the ropes into the ring.

Clearwater: Two impressive entrances, from two impressive fighters! The simplicity of Spartan’s style offsets the theatrical grandiosity of Tsukiko, and it makes you really wonder how well they’ll coexist in that ring!

Remi: You said it, Mikey-bro! Tsukiko is competitive as hell, though, and I feel like my girl gonna outshine Spartan at every turn!

The opening chords of “UltraNUMB” by Blu Stahli fills the arena as the lights go dark. Several flashes of blue and green lights illuminate various parts of the arena and entrance ramp to the beat of the song, all stopping with a cascade falling at the top center as Blue Stahli screams…

YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW!!!

At this point, the fans begin roaring as Jaice Wilds is spotted on a platform a few feet above the ramp. He raises his arms into an X, taking a moment to watch the crowd respond in kind before…

3! 2! 1!

Wilds flips forward off the platform, landing superhero style on the ramp below. He looks up, removing the hood from his face and tossing his shades into the crowd. He starts down the ramp, taking some time to slap random fives and bump fists.

You want it full frontal, over-stimulation
So say a benediction, For a new addiction
In voyeuristic overdrive
(Here comes the countdown)

Jessica: And their opponents! First, making his way to the ring!!

This is the new flesh

Jessica: From Puerto Vehlo, Brazil; weighing in at one hundred and eighty-four pounds!

Jessica: He is the Final General and YOUR Xtreme Aerialist!!

We've got everything you wanted…

Jessica: He is JAICE! WIIIIIIIILLLLLLDSSSS!!!

Wilds stops at the bottom of the ramp, taking in a deep breath and signing the rosarie before launching forward, corkscrewing himself to fly between the top and middle ring ropes and rolling to his feet once inside the ring. He looks to each side of the ring, the fans on their feet as he heads for a turnbuckle.

Wilds nods to the crowd, throwing up the X as the fans chant "X-Treme!" to their hero. He drops to the mat, running up to each remaining turnbuckle and repeating the taunt as the crowd continues to roar in approval.

Jessica: And his partner… from Las Vegas, Nevada -- KYLIE MOORE!!!

The lights in the arena go out as the letters "S.L.U.T." appear on the tron.

"'ma do just what I want on the regular
And it's really not my fault if you're scared of a
Sweet little unforgettable thing, unforgettable

Kylie Moore dances out to the beat as the fans cheer loudly! She walks down the ramp swinging her hips seductively with each step. She slides in the ring and prepares to fight.

Clearwater: Kylie Moore and Jaice Wilds make an unorthodox pairing, but their respective styles might prove to their advantage in this match here tonight!

Remi: Dude, nobody cares about that. We all just want to see Moore and Tsuki go at it!

Clearwater: Crude, as ever.

Remi: Hey, everyone’s thinking it! I’m the only guy with the avocados to say it!

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: Here we go! It looks like Tsukiko and Wilds, starting things off for their respective teams!

Wilds and Tsukiko tie up in a classic collar-and-elbow, but Wilds has the upperhand almost immediately. He shifts his weight and hip-tosses Tsukiko, but the Shimmering Kitsune lands on her feet like a cat and rushes in at him with a lariat!

Remi: Lariat to Wilds -- but Jaice ducks! Tsukiko up the turnbuckles now, Wilds hot on her heels, and… DRAGONRANA off the top turnbuckle! That’s my girl! Tsuki with the cover!

One!

Two!!

Clearwater: And Wilds gets the shoulder up! Back to a vertical base and on the attack once again!

Wilds pulls Tsukiko toward him and looks to wrap her up for a suplex, but the Kitsune grabs his fingers and pries them apart, delivering a strong back elbow to aid her escape. She hits the ropes and rebounds with a big boot, but Jaice ducks under it and catches the leg, simply flinging her backward onto the mat! Tsukiko pops back up -- right into a forearm that sends her staggering away.

Remi: Ouch! That’s no way to treat a lady!

Clearwater: Maybe not, but Tsukiko isn’t backing down! She chases Wilds to the corner, Wilds with a quick jab to create some distance, and now he’s on the turnbuckles! Tsukiko moving in to stop him, but Wilds launches himself at her! Tornado DDT! Cover!

One!

Two!!

Remi: Kickout by the Foxy Lady! Rawr!

Jaice goes back on the offense, but Tsukiko traps his arm and shifts into a crossface position!

Clearwater: Kitsuneno Sakuryaku! Trickery of the Fox!

Remi: She’s got Wilds trapped -- but for how long?

Jaice struggles against the hold Tsukiko has him in, as the Shimmering Kitsune drags him back toward her corner, where Spartan waits with an outstretched hand. She slaps it, but maintains her hold on Wilds.

Clearwater: Tag to Spartan! Spartan in, running across the ring! Hits the ropes -- clothesline as Tsukiko releases her hold and slips out to the apron!

Remi: This is a good strategy by Tsukiko and Spartan. Isolate one opponent and just pick him apart!

Clearwater: But Jaice rallies back to life! Kick to the knee! Another to the midsection! Enzuigiri!

Remi: Not quite! Enzuigiri attempted -- but Spartan had it scouted and blocks, dumping Wilds right on his backside!

Wilds isn’t out yet, however. He pops back to his feet and catches Spartan with a sling blade right as the big man charges in! Jaice goes for the pin!

One!

Two!!

Clearwater: Spartan with the shoulder up at two and he just tosses Wilds off of him! Back to a vertical base and Spartan with a snap kick that stops Jaice in his tracks!

Spartan comes in for another kick, but Wilds catches him with the enzuigiri this time!

Remi: Enzuigiri from the Xtreme Aerialist and he follows up with an Irish whip! Rebound -- right into a sleeper hold!

Clearwater: Wilds trying to lock that sleeper in, but Spartan is fighting against it!

Spartan rushes forward and uses his strength and momentum to fling Wilds over his shoulders and up against the ropes! Jaice catches himself on the ropes before he can fall through and pulls himself upright! Spartan grabs Wilds and pulls him up into a fisherman position on his shoulders!

Remi: Wilds raining down elbows on Spartan’s head! He wants no part of what’s about to happen!

Jaice finally frees himself and slips down off Spartan’s shoulders, making a mad dash for his corner to tag in Kylie Moore!

Clearwater: Wilds out, Moore in! Moore leading off with a Pele Kick -- but Spartan counters! He catches Moore’s arms and underhooks them -- DDT! Cover!

One!

Two!!

THR--NOOO!

Remi: Wilds to the rescue with an elbow drop right on top of Spartan, breaking up the pinfall!

Moore gets to her feet as Tsukiko rushes to her partner’s aid. All four competitors stare each other down for several seconds -- and then all hell breaks loose! Moore shoves Tsukiko! Jaice kicks Spartan! Tsuki and Spartan stand back-to-back as Wilds and Moore advance. Without warning, Spartan hoists the Shimmering Kitsune onto his back -- she somersaults over him to deliver a devastating kick to Jaice Wilds, while Spartan goes after Kylie Moore!

Clearwater: Chaos in the ring as all four competitors are brawling right now! Tsukiko with a hurricanrana that sends Wilds between the ropes to the outside! Spartan and Moore trading strikes! Tsukiko with a suicide dive as Jaice gets back to his feet and they both crash to the ringside mats! This is madness!

Remi: THIS IS SPARTA, BRO! And Spartan is undeniably the king! SPEAR to Kylie Moore! You know what that means!

Clearwater: REVOLUTIONIZER! Spartan with the roll-up!

One!

Two!!

Jaice tries to get back in the ring to break up the pin, but Tsukiko nails him in the dome with a Moon Breaker!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Moore slides under the ropes as Spartan rises, the sounds of his music thundering through the John Paul Jones Arena. Tsukiko joins him and the ref lifts both their arms to a huge pop from the fans.

Jessica: The winners of this match -- TSUKIKO and SPARTAN!!!

As the two celebrate their victory, Kylie stalks back up the ramp, while Jaice climbs back into the ring and approaches the two. There’s a moment of tension… then Wilds extends a hand in the spirit of competition. With a big grin, Spartan grabs it, and pulls him in for a quick bro hug. Tsukiko, more reserved, takes Wilds’ hand and bows slightly. Jaice gives them a nod, then makes his way backstage while the show fades to commercial.

Smith Jones Segment

Standing by backstage is APW Interviewer Troy Butler. He is dressed in a blue suit with an orange tie and holding a microphone.

Troy Butler: Ladies and gentlemen, joining me at this time is your APW World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion… Smith Jones!!

Jones steps into frame dressed in his shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. He has The World Title proudly slung over his shoulder. With a confident sneer, Smith stares down at the intricate details of the belt he carries.

Smith Jones: Pleasure, Troy. Ask away.

Butler: Later tonight, you will step into the ring against the APW Hardcore Champion Dean Wolf in a highly anticipated Champion versus Champion Match. The audience is pretty much split down the middle in terms of support… as we can hear from all the way backstage here.

Troy pauses for a minute and allows us to listen to the audience as they fill John Paul Jones Arena with duelling chants.

Crowd: Seek the wolf!! I’m right here!! Seek the wolf!! I’m right here!! Seek the wolf!! I’m right here!! Seek the wolf!! I’m right here!! Seek the wolf!! I’m right here!! Seek the wolf!! Butler: Do you have what it takes to stand up and defend the honour of your APW World Title against a man as fierce, determined, and flat out violent as Hardcore Champion Dean Wolf?

Jones looks at Troy Butler as his sneer melts to an angry pout.

Smitty: Dean Wolf talks about how I’ve insulted all of these great superstars just because I have no love at all… NONE ...for hardcore. He thinks that just because I’m never, ever, ever going to lift a finger to ever carry the APW Hardcore Championship that I’m disrespecting Spartan, and Jubei, and half the roster who’ve fought their hearts out for it. Listen, Troy. Dean Wolf is great at what he does. He deserves that title. And he keeps clinging to the fact that he has indeed beaten me before. I don’t deny that. But, that does not mean by any stretch of the imagination that Dean Wolf is better than Smith Jones. His desperation is sad to me. Look at this, Wolf! LOOK AT ME!!!

He removes the championship belt from around his waist and holds it out in front of himself so close to the camera that it takes up the entire shot.

Smitty: Your Hardcore strap is not THE World Title. The World Heavyweight Champion here in Alpha Professional Wrestling… the top champion... is the incredible Smith Jones. You can argue all you want from your permanent midcard spot how much better you are at this than I am. Talk till you’re blue in the face! I hope you’ve enjoyed the spotlight that I have so graciously shared with you this past couple of weeks. I invited you to the Main Event and you’ve done a great job of showcasing your talents under the immense pressure. That ends tonight. When it is all said and done, you will go back to valiantly defending the title that you’ve chosen as attainable for a person with your skillset you while I will remain THE champion of all of APW. You can’t fault me for having a personal preference about how I do what I do. Some people like coffee, some like tea, and others like big gold. Jubei was hardcore on his way to rising to The World Title. Spartan was hardcore on his way to becoming North American Champ. I’ve never spoken ill of Spartan for his career path. I respect the man very much. I’ve told you more than once that you are great at what you do. But hear this clearly, Wolf.

Jones rests the belt on his right shoulder and steps right up to the lens with his signature stone scowl.

Smitty: You will NEVER be Smith Jones… no matter how hard you try. And tonight, I will prove it to The World.

"The Provocateur" Arthur Pleasant vs Zombie McMorris

Metal returns from break immediately blasting "Killed By Death" over the PA system as the arena begins to fill with smoke and a blank, dark Alphatron giving the arena a sharp look of its black mirror. The Guitar and drums kick in and play up as the crowd search for ZMAC. Them vocals smash the speakers as the spot light is shows ZMAC whose stand out in the middle section of the area.

Fans: If you squeeze me lizard, I’ll put my snake in you. I’m a romantic adventure and a reptile too.

He stands there with his back turned to the ring with his arms out in a ‘T’ pose. He turns to face the crowd as he takes a few steps down the aisle way.

Fans: Easy! Easy!

He pumps the crowd up as they go rabid for the Coked UP Mad Man who reaches into his pulls out a vial of cocaine and snorts it.

Fans: The only time I’m gone be easy is when I’m.. KILED BY DEATH! KILLED BY DEATH!

Jessica Kaine: Making his way to the ring.. from the Big Easy.. He stands six feet, six inches tall and weighs in at two hundred and twenty pounds… He is the Coked Up Mad Man.. ZZZOOMMMBIE… MCMORRR-IISSS!

St. Remi: Well this one is certainly shaped to be a slaughterhouse.

Clearwater: More like a slasher flick minus all the machetes.

St. Remi: Most Def, but these two aren’t looking to wrestle… they want rearrange each other’s face.

Fans: I’m a lone wolf ligger but I ain’t no pretty boy!

Fans swarm him as he takes beer after beer and chugs them; getting some all over his face and chest. ZMAC is in a sea of “Dove Killah Certified OG’s” as the fans lift him up and body surf him down to the crowd barrier.

Clearwater: They love ZMAC like the Midwest does a hurricane, hoping they make history without being their problem. Histories of violence, uncertain but inevitable, hang in the balance as the newcomer looks to dethrone the madman of his voice box.

St. Remi: Voice box? Zombie McMorris is vox populi—

Clearwater: Maybe, but the Provocateur did what no one has dared in years… challenge ZMAC in his own dimension of torment and pain.

Fans: KILLED BY DEATH! KILLED BY DEATH! KILLED BY DEATH!

He jumps the barrier and slides into the ring. ZMAC takes to the adjacent turnbuckle and taunts the crowd before taking off his jacket and throwing it to the towards the time keeper. The Honey Badger has arrived, only to look around see the nonchalant smile of his opponent sitting crisscross applesauce on the nearest turnbuckle. ZMAC pounces with a superman forearm strike.

Clearwater: Where did he come from? Provocateur and ZMAC exchanging blows before our official can even ring the bell!

DING DING DING!

St. Remi: And we’re off with fireworks!

Clearwater: Double underhook suplex from McMorris… and now they’re rolling around like a tumbleweed!

Both men get in some good punches until a ropes tangle them into an uncertain mess. Brave official Spanky O’Shaughnessy has no choice but tear them apart due to a rope break.

Clearwater: Arthur Pleasant is up first… is his nose bleeding?

St. Remi: Yeah, and ZMAC has a busted lip. Look—we expected bloodshed, my dude.

Clearwater: They lock up… and Pleasant takes control from the waist.

St. Remi: Cravat lifting DDT!

One!

Two!!

St. Remi: And ZMAC blasts out of that pin into mounted punching!

Clearwater: These two are impossible! Just utterly insatiable!

St. Remi: Zombie gets the neck into a vise… this can’t be good.

Clearwater: He just cranked it like a lawnmower… that was horrible!

Arthur, stunned by that limit-break barrage by that gd honey badger, tee himself up from a seated position. ZMAC pumps twice to the crowd before hitting the opposite ropes. He returns hitting an absolute rocker of a punt kick to bowl Provocateur over flat. He then grabs the leg to lock on a stretch muffler with leverage applied to the neck with his knee.

Clearwater: Pleasant in dire straits in that insidious maneuver. He can’t even reach the ropes from there!

St. Remi: He’ll have to find another way out of Zombie’s death grip.

Fans want him to bend Arthur like Will Smith in MiB 2, but that’s just enough to wake him from the depths of despair, as he reaches for a limb. One hand squeezes ZMAC’s ankle to no effect. He then swings an elbow into the groin—what the honey badger shrugs off as foreplay.

Clearwater: He’s inhuman!

St. Remi: Nah brah, it’s ZMAC… what show have you been watching?

Clearwater: Provocateur could tap at any moment!
St. Remi: I don’t know, he still looks in good shape to me—look!

Clearwater: Pleasant has a lock of McMorris’ infamous mane… and he’s twisting a clump in his hand!

This is just enough to loosen the hold. Arthur emerges with a large clump of those tangled, coke-soaked vines in one hand. His right leg, however, is in bad shape after devastating hold. ZMAC shrugs off the pain and goes back on the offensive. Provocateur ducks a hell-blazing lariat into a go behind reverse DDT off his knee. Zombie McMorris gets up slow but surely, when his hobbling opponent flies in for a superkick to the back of his head.

Clearwater: What a sickening impact!

St. Remi: Here he goes again—and a second superkick to back of ZMAC’s noggin!

Clearwater: Even more… and with that faint kick, he completes the Midnight sun!

St. Remi: The Honey Badger just got his wig split!

Provocateur decides to return the favor by rolling ZMAC into a grape vining calf slicer. McMorris now finds himself trapped in a maze of pain, as the new face of madness vies to break him. Fans rally to their antihero and his Bryonic conflictions, heaping Zombie with encouragement out that tangled mess of leg joints.

St. Remi: Calf Slicers can be tricky because you need to stay upright… otherwise, someone can turn a pin on you, bro. See how Pleasant keeps balancing himself.

Clearwater: It looks awfully painful though…

St. Remi: Oh it’s among the worst out there, bro. You couldn’t handle it.

Clearwater: Well, that seems a little—ZMAC is fighting back!

St. Remi: Yeah, but unlike a figure-four, you can’t just reverse it on the fly and return fire.

ZMAC does his best to pull their human pile towards the ropes, trying also to not let Arthur Pleasant enjoy to pain in his face. Provocateur wrenches back a tad more, halting him in place. Fans though bring an unexpected surge into that coked up disaster, powering him to roll the whole thing into a convoluted ball—ZMAC firmly atop the scrum—pinning Arthur to the mat.

One!

Two!!

Clearwater: Provocateur breaks free, and both men are now hobbling on leg.

St. Remi: It’s a sugar foot parade in Charlottesville… and no one has made clear headway.

Clearwater: Maybe, but we could be seeing the last light for these fighters. They’ve spent everything in their bank by now! Look at them! How can anyone do much more than that? ZMAC limping… big boot—but Pleasant is still up!

St. Remi: Arthur returns the favor!

This begins a battle of big boots, both men just punting the other stupid with their boots. ZMAC somehow manages to the better of this physically stupid exchange, hitting a double arm DDT.

Clearwater: What the hell! Provocateur is back to his knees with rage strength!

St. Remi: What?

Clearwater: He’s strangling ZMAC!

St. Remi: ZMAC is strangling him too!

Clearwater: Who can withstand it longer?

There’s no content at all, as to the fans’ chagrin, O’Shaughnessy plays the buzzkill by breaking them both from illegal holds. They hate him ten times more than their original heat on Provocateur. That moment apart summons a blazing Falcon Punch from Satan’s ass.

Clearwater: Falcon Punch! And the Provocateur may have just eaten his own words with that punch!

St. Remi: Don’t blink… because McMorris is coking up! Hide the women and children!

ZMAC comes roaring and does so through a straight on punch to the throat. He shrugs off that bee sting and vaults onto Provocateur in a blind rage, going full on Ralphie as he wails with unrelenting rights. He gets so many that the official cannot even count. When he pulls ZMAC off Provocateur, the only recourse is a stoppage. Fans go into a “ZMAC! Kill!” chant as the bell resounds.

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: Your winner, and advancing to next round… Zombie McMorris!

Clearwater: You see it coming like a tsunami… but he still floods your world.

St. Remi: Many have come and even more have failed.

Clearwater: Tonight took ZMAC to the brink, but his instincts and unatonable penchant for violence won in the end. doubt this is last we see of Arthur Pleasant at the top of APW.

St. Remi: Now way, bro. He’s one step from greatness… as we say in this business. Just a step away.

Clearwater: Indeed, and what better way to set up our blockbuster main event?

St. Remi: Totally! You’d be even more crae-crae to miss it!

Main Event

Dean Wolf vs Smith Jones

Remi: Welcome back, folks! And boy do we have a doozy for you now! I’ve been salivating at this one like I just watched Angela White eat a banana!

Clearwater: Um, right. So, yeah. It is now time for our MAIN EVENT of the evening! And this one is SURE to NOT disappoint!

Remi: These two have battled it out in their respective promos all week, but the time for talking has come to a close. It is now… Champion versus Champion.

Clearwater: Traditional versus Hardcore. Basically, bone-shattering arm bars versus concussion-giving steel chairs.

Remi: The APW World Heavyweight Champion, Smith Jones, versus the APW Hardcore Champion, Dean Wolf!

Jessica Kaine: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is the MAIN EVENT of the evening!!

"SO SEEK THE WOLF IN THYSELF!"

The crowd pops HARD as the APW Hardcore Champion Dean Wolf emerges from the backstage area!

Clearwater: Whoa! Fans have lit this place up after hearing those familiar words on the PA system!

Remi: And out he comes, as no nonsense as I have seen Dean!

Jessica Kaine: From wherever he may roam weighing in at 230 pounds, the APW Hardcore Champion, Dean Wolf!

With the championship snapped tightly around his waist, Wolf walks briskly down to the ringside area, walking closely against the guard railing. Various fans pat Wolf on the shoulder for their love and support before he rolls underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. Marching towards the corner mouthing, “Let’s fucking do this already!!”.

Clearwater: I could be mistaken but I… I think Dean wants to do this already. Maybe? I don’t know. It was a little subtle.

Remi: Subtlety is NOT one of Dean’s strong suits, Mike.

Holding up the APW Hardcore Championship for the entire world to see, Wolf hops back down off the turnbuckle, eagerly awaiting his opponent.

The opening guitar riff from Linkin Park's ‘Waiting For The End’ plays, followed by that haunting double piano note as all of the lights in the arena blast to full white. The lights start to slowly fade to darkness as every spotlight in the joint floods the entranceway with a bright white light.&nbsp; Smith Jones comes out onto the stage dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. The World Title is securely fastened around his waist. Jones stops at the top of the ramp and looks out across the crowd as many of them chant "I'm right here! I'm right here! I'm right here!"

Jessica: From Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds... he is your APW World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion... there is only one... SMITH… JONES!!!

Smith strides confidently down to ringside. He mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the ring apron before parting the ropes and taking centre. He steps forward to towards the ropes and removes his championship belt, hanging it from the top rope and snapping it in place. He raises his right fist in the air and looks up at it. Smith opens his hand and spreads his fingers out wide as he lets go of everything outside the ring and focuses on the fight before him. Jones removes his robe and hands it to ringside before stretching up for the match. The referee unsnaps The World Title belt and removes it from the top rope, handing it to the timekeeper. Smith sports that signature stone scowl that says everything is not going to be okay for his opponent.

Clearwater: There’s the classic trademark of the legendary Smith Jones.

Remi: I mean, all he did was wipe his feet on the apron.

Clearwater: Like I said, classic trademark!

Remi: You’d swear he did a 450 off a trampoline while playing air guitar!

Clearwater: Well, that would be impressive. Could you imagine!?

He steps towards the ropes and removes his precious APW World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship belt. It hangs and glistens from the top rope as Smith snaps it into place with tremendous care. He raises his right fist up into the air and looks up at it. At this precise moment, flashbulbs seemingly explode into a bluish crescendo all across the John Paul Jones arena.

Clearwater: Wow! Quite the response here in Charlottesville!

Remi: There’s no denying that the man is a legend in this business. He’s got more gold to his credit than Tekashi 6ix9ine has snitched a bitch.

Clearwater: That is an unfathomably LARGE number, Remi. Let’s be realistic here..

Smith opens his hand and spreads his fingers out wide as he lets go of everything outside the ring and focuses on the fight before him. Jones removes his robe and hands it to ringside before stretching up for the match. Senior official Eddie Silk checks on both competitors before Smith and Dean both unsnap their respective championship belts. Smith from the top rope, and Dean from around his own waist. Smith sports that signature stone scowl right, which is shot right back at him from Dean.

DING! DING! DING!

Clearwater: And here we go!

Remi: In the immortal words of Bruto... Let’s DO IIIIIIIIIIIT!!

Jones slaps his biceps with both arms as Wolf cracks his neck by cranking it to the left and then to the right in one quick motion. Then, after a tense moment, both fiery competitors lockup in the center of the ring. After a very rigid collar-and-elbow tie-up, neither men give much of an inch to the other.

Clearwater: Pretty traditional “wrestling” start to this one. Can’t say that I’m surprised by that!

Remi: Why because you believe Dean Wolf can’t have a “wrestling” match with Smitty?

Clearwater: Did I say that? No!

With both men similar in size, it seems like forever before either men move. Surprisingly enough though, Wolf quickly spins out of the collar-and-elbow by twisting Jones’ arm. Jones is wise to the transition, though, and quickly shoots in for a go-behind. Wolf looks for an escape by checking between his legs and over each shoulder. Finding none, Wolf shrugs and SLAMS the back of his head into the bridge of Jones’ nose!

Clearwater: Just like that, Dean tosses out the pure wrestling and catches Smith off-guard with a reverse head-butt right to the face!

Remi: Smith’s nose might be broken here. I see blood already!!&nbsp; Good Lawwwd!!

Crimson trickles down from a slice on Jones’ nose. Utilizing the distraction, Wolf grabs Jones by the head and rips down the World Champion with a vicious side-headlock takedown!

Clearwater: Good lord!! Dean with another surprising wrestling hold!

Remi: Yeah but now look! Dean is laying in the close-fisted punches right to Smith’s freshly opened bullseye! Oof, this is hard to watch!

Jones tries to swing his legs up to escape out of the side-mount, but Wolf administers some more pressure to keep him in a headlock. Punch after punch rains down on Smith, who is looking a little worse for wear after the wound opens up some. Finally, though, Smith uses sheer grit and strength by tossing Wolf off of him. Rolling through, Wolf turns around and earns a swift kick to the breadbasket!

Clearwater: Smith showing some toughness and manages to nail a double-underhook suplex after that kick to the mid-section!

Remi: He floats over into a cover, hooking the leg!

One!

Two!!

Clearwater: Wolf kicks out!!

Remi: I think Smith just surprised the hell out of Dean with that suplex.

Clearwater: Tiger got out of the cage, man!! Tiger got out of the caaaage!!

Wiping the blood pouring out of the bridge of his nose, Jones grabs Wolf by the back of his head and drives him to his feet. In control now, Jones lifts up under Smith’s left leg. With his own back near the ropes, Jones HEAVES Wolf over the top rope and to the outside where he spills harshly onto his neck and back on the outside wrestling mat!

Clearwater: Oh my God!! Wolf could have a broken damn neck!!

Remi: I think Smith just gave Dean a little wrestling infused taste of his own hardcore medicine!!

While half of the arena chants “LET’S GO DEAN!”, the other divisiveness remains apparent as the other half chants, “LET’S GO SMITTY!”

Clearwater: This place is deafening!! The level of respect both of these men commend is mindblowing!!

Remi: Smith has followed him to the outside!

Once again driving the APW Hardcore Champion to his feet, Jones spins Wolf around. Grabbing him by the waist, Jones lifts up before pushing Wolf forward by his back and SMASHING his face right into the ring apron! Stunned, Wolf clutches his jaw… just in time for Jones to grab at both of Wolf’s legs.

Clearwater: Wheelbarrow suplex!! YES!! OH MY GOD!!

Remi: The back of Wolf’s neck just landed right on the unprotected steel guardrail!!!

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Remi: Holy shit is right, folks!! My God!!

Clearwater: Wolf is DONE. Clearly Smith wanted to send a message tonight that he can hardcore-it-up when he wants to. And right now? He’s made it abundantly clear that he MORE than wants to.

Remi: And the crazy thing is he’s going all hardcore with WRESTLING holds. Not weapons. This is why Smith Jones is the legend he is and our current reigning APW World Heavyweight “WRESTLING” Champion.

Lifting Dean Wolf’s near lifeless body up from the outside mat, he rolls him into the ring. Jones follows him.

Clearwater: Jones with a lateral press!

One!

ONE. Just one.

Remi: That’s all Smith got with that!! Jesus!! How tough is this bastard, Dean Wolf!?

Clearwater: Smitty doesn’t even look like he knows what to do at the moment! He hit him with a career killer and Dean just powered out after a mere one count!!

Clearly taken aback that Wolf was able to kick out after one after being driven by his neck onto the outside railing, Smith shakes his head as he pulls Wolf to his feet. Feeling the control slipping away, Wolf nails Jones across the jaw with a haymaker and follows it up by peppering him with a couple of brawl-tastic jabs.

Clearwater: Jones is reeling!

Remi: Stun gun!!

Smith is on wobbly legs as he retreats to the center of the ring, showing his back to Wolf. Not wasting a second, Wolf runs into the ropes that Jones is facing. On the rebound…

Clearwater: SPEAR!!

Remi: Right into a cover!!

One!

ONE!!!!! JUST ONE AGAIN!!!!

Clearwater: What the hell!? One!? REALLY?!

Crowd: THIS-IS-AL-PHA!

Clap... clap... clap-clap-clap!

THIS-IS-AL-PHA!

Clap... clap... clap-clap-clap!

Remi: These guys are trying to out-tough one another, for sure!! I can’t believe they both kicked out of match-ending offense at ONE!

Wolf smiles. Motioning for Jones to get up, Wolf lies in wait…

Clearwater: He’s going for it… EASY PREY!!

Remi: And he always follows that up with THE KILL!! NO!!

Nailing the running knee lift, on his return, he spins for the discus clothesline, but misses. Turning back around, Jones NAILS a stiff Yakuza kick!! The force of which sends Wolf back to his feet. Jones grabs Wolf in position for a belly-to-belly suplex… and he THROWS him into the middle turnbuckle!!

Remi: TAKE IT HOME!!! He nailed i- wait, what!?

Clearwater: WOLF IS ON HIS FEET!!! WOLF IS ON HIS FEET!!

Jones shakes his head, “NO!”, grabs him again and belly-to-belly suplexes him AGAIN!! This time into the turnbuckles directly across from the ones he previously dropped him on!!

Remi: TAKE IT HOME!!! HE TOOK IT HOME AGAIN!!

Clearwater: WOLF IS ON HIS FEET AGAIN!! AGAIN!!! WOLF WILL NOT STAY DOWN!!

With a glossed over look in his eyes, Wolf smiles before flipping the bird to the APW World Heavyweight Champion. Jones seizes him once again into a belly-to-belly suplex… and tosses him into yet ANOTHER middle turnbuckle!!

Clearwater: Jesus CHRIST!! That’s the THIRD time he took Wolf home.

Remi: He’s not done!!!

Dragging Wolf to his feet, he sets him up with a full-nelson, and suplexes him backwards into the fourth different middle turnbuckle!!

Clearwater: SLEEP PARALYSIS!! HE DIDN’T EVEN BOTHER WAITING FOR HIM TO GET UP!!

Remi: JESUS GOD MOTHER OF HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS! HE HOOKS A LEG!!

The entire crowd counts along in unison…

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

NOOO!

Clearwater: DEAN KICKED OUT!!!! HOW THE HELL DID HE KICK OUT!?

Remi: That was TWO AND NINETY-NINE ONE-HUNDRETHS!!

Collapsing to the mat holding his face while wiping more blood from the gash in his nose, Jones shakes his head. Wolf meanwhile turns over, and crawls toward the bottom rope.

Clearwater: Jones is clearly frustrated that he can’t put Wolf away.

Remi: He just about gave him everything he had. I’d be frustrated too!

Wolf pulls himself to his feet and turns to face Smith. Once again, with a smirk across his face, Wolf flips Jones off with both hands and mouths, “COME AND GET IT YOU FUCKING PUSSY!!”.

Clearwater: Ooooo dem’s fightin’ words.

Jones laughs, but a nanosecond later he runs at Wolf… who side-steps Jones! Trapping him into the ropes belly first, Wolf rolls him up!!

Remi: Smith fell for it!!

Clearwater: Wolf with an…. O’Connor roll!?

One!

Clearwater: HE HAS HIM..

Two!!

Remi: THE SYSTEM!!!! HE COUNTERED THAT WITH THE SYSTEM!!

Just before Silk’s hand could slap the mat for a third time, Jones clutches Wolf’s arm and neck and cranks him down violently out of the O’Connor roll and into a cross-face chicken wing!! Wolf writhes in pain as Jones screams for the Hardcore Champ to tapout!!

Clearwater: No way!!!! NO. WAY.

Remi: Jones has him!! Center of the ring!!

For what seems like eternity, Jones twists and agonizes Wolf with his patented crossface chicken wing. With nowhere to go, Wolf seemingly begins to fade from the pain.

Clearwater: He’s out!!! He’s out!!!

Remi: No!!!

With one last gasp, Wolf pushes up on his legs, breaking free from the body scissors. Rolling backwards, he traps the World Heavyweight Champ’s shoulders to the mat with his own chicken wing!!

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING! DING! DING!
