The following is a letter addressed and published to the Alpha Pro Wrestling website.
After an excruciating battle with Allen Anderson at Ascension, I managed to pull a valuable win. Unfortunately, that didn't leave a whole lot for Noris Cranley to take, but I still gave him one-hundred percent of what I did have left. And I'll give the man credit; the Unstoppable One gave me everything I could handle- and then some. I congratulate Mr Cranley on a solid victory; may we meet again when I can perhaps give you a better fight.
In the meantime, we take a night to celebrate another year in the life of our World Champion, one Masuda Jubei. After a well-earned defense at Ascension, the Master has put together a violent celebration worthy of an Emperor. And with such an extreme atmosphere to play in, where else would the Final General find himself on a Monday night?
As it stands, I've been placed into a 4-way Piñata Scramble match. Some kind of special prize weapons extravaganza where anything could happen and only one person can survive. The question is; who will be the one to emerge victorious??
Mayhaps the Masuda Corps' resident filler strongman, Leon Dread? It would stand to reason that the Master would stack the deck in his favor. Except that I already showed the world at Ascension that, when push comes to shove, I can find a weakness in any fraud posing as a powerful giant. Seems to me that putting Hell's Soldier against me would only result in something of a repeat of played events. I'm sure he'll get a decent swing or two in, but after that… well, it won't be the first loss on the Corps' record.
Or perhaps Johnny Blaze, the resident wannabe badass? Don't get me wrong; the man has potential. And certainly, he has enough wins that taking him lightly would be a mistake. But this is putting a barely worn rookie and placing him in my personal playground. You're stacking the deck against him, entirely by coincidence, and that just isn't fair by any means. I'll try to hold back enough to allow you movement of your own will, my friend. Beyond that, however… no promises.
I have little else to say. Unfortunately, our final entrant is all but moot; so I will leave with this.
All of you prepare yourselves for the worst. I am bringing my best… which is never good for you.
