Mike Clearwater: Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen to another edition of Monday Night Metal, right here on Netflix! This week, we’re coming to you LIVE from the Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, Arizona! And listen to this capacity crowd!

St. Remi: They are pumped, bro, and so am I! We’ve got a major card lined up here tonight! Charmaine (the God) is about to visit her Almighty wrath on WCF legend Luke Force! Or will it be the other way around? Will the rookie fall prey to the veteran?

Clearwater: Who can say, Remi? The Masuda Corporation is all over it tonight, too, starting with Allen Anderson going head to head with Johnny Blaze! The Tag Title Contenders face off against the unlikely duo of “Jazzy” John McCarty and Hardcore Champ Spartan in our first of two huge tag matches tonight!

Remi: And Masuda Jubei has promised a special exhibition featuring the newest addition to the Corporation -- I wonder who it can be?

Clearwater: You’ll have to wait and find out, Remi, just like the rest of us. We have a champion versus champion match as North American Champ Road Dawg squares off with a newly-reformed Steven Osbourne. Odin Balfore takes on the rarely-seen but reputedly dangerous Tommy Fiend! Our own Lucy Sixx will step into the ring with her biggest challenge to date, Big Bad Bodacious.

Remi: He IS Big, Mikey-bro. And Bad! Our co-main event features another tag team match as rookie sensation “Unstoppable” Noris Cranley and Dean Wolf team up against Tag Champs the Canadian Coalition, and you just have to wonder, bro -- is this some twisted mind game of Irina’s?

Clearwater: If I had to guess, Remi, I’d say probably so. But all that is secondary to the main event, which sees puts underdog Defenestration Jones directly across the ring from the Number One Contender to the World Championship, Smith Jones! And to up the stakes a little more, Masuda Jubei himself is the referee!

Remi: We can only expect shenanigans, bro. No way Jubei doesn’t use this to his advantage! In fact, I’ll bet --

Without warning, “Sgori (Burn)” by Stvore blasts through the arena, drawing immediate boos from the crowd. Dressed in somber charcoal grey with hints of crimson, a suit tailored to fit her flawless form, Irina Ivanova steps through the curtain, a microphone in hand.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the General Manager of Alpha Pro Wrestling... Irinaaa IVAAANOOOOVAAA!

She lets the noise and chaos swirl around her for several long moments, then raises a hand to silence the music. A few errant boos echo through the audience, but soon, those too die away.

Irina Ivanova: Thank you for your warm welcome. Adam and I are so gratified that the fans appreciate all we do to bring you the finest in wrestling week after week. And so, it fills me with pride to announce the lineup for our next Alpha Pro Wrestling pay-per-view -- Ascension!

The crowd pops for this, then settles down quickly.

Irina: Next Monday, August twenty-sixth, Ascension will take place in the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois! Every title will be defended! Lilianna Rose and Alex Scott finally get their chance at the Tag Team Champions, the Canadian Coalition -- IF the two of them can learn to work together! Steven Osbourne defends the Junior Heavyweight Title against the Shimmering Kitsune, Tsukiko! Hardcore Champion Spartan will face the man who earned his title shot at Alpha Showdown, Big Bad Bodacious! Bryan “Buzz” Worthy takes on Road Dawg for the North American Championship! And finally, after all this time, all this waiting… we get to see Smith Jones take his shot at winning the APW World Heavyweight Title from “the Master” Masuda Jubei!

Another pop from the fans punctuates each match announced, but the cheering grows to deafening volume at the mention of the Alpha Title match. The GM waits for things to settle again before she continues.

Irina: Oh, but that, as they say on late night television, is not all, comrades! Allen Anderson and Jaice Wilds will go toe-to-toe in a no-holds-barred, two out of three falls combat! But it gets better still -- ODIN BALFORE --

HUGE reaction from the fans at Odin’s name.

Irina: -- will, at last, face our own commissioner, Jason Zurra. Now, since this match involves management, and Comrade Zurra has brought this on himself, I cannot in any way sanction the match. So it will be an Unsanctioned Street Fight!

The crowd goes nuts for this announcement, cheering the bloodsport to come. Irina holds up her hand one again, gesturing for the fans to be quiet.

Irina: And last, but definitely not least, a special match for the ones not already booked. A Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match! The winning team receives a future shot at the APW Tag Team Championships! But there’s a catch -- nobody will know their partner until they step into the ring on the night of Ascension! See you all in Chicago, one week from tonight!

With that, her music hits again, and Ivanova disappears into the back.

Clearwater: Wow! What a bombshell announcement! Fans, we have to take a quick commercial break, but we’ll be right back to begin tonight’s action!

Luke "The Irresistible" Force vs Charmaine "The God"

When “Bodak Yellow” blares throughout the arena, a pulse of fuchsia and gold lighting ensues, and Charmaine takes the stage carving her way through the dark curtain and into the spotlight; full lips curved upright, braided ponytail cascading down her shoulder, adjusting the flaps of her leather jacket to a positive reception prior to swaggering down the ramp -- slapping the hands of the ringside spectators. Showcasing incredible athleticism, she rockets from the padded floors of ringside to the ring apron, triggering an explosion of gold pyro from each ring post. Entering the ring, she commences to twirl her lengthy ponytail in hand, convening in the center of the ring, admiring and acknowledging the adoring public before her from all sides of the arena.

Jessica: Ladies and gentlemen, hailing from the School of Hard Knocks, she stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs in at a fit 126 pounds. This is the Madafuggin Queen, She Who Reigns!! Charmaine The God!!

The crowd erupts!

Clearwater: Remi, you hear this? This is some opening match excitement. We’ve got mothers and fathers holding their children up so that they can get a glimpse of this positive role model Charmaine The God.

Remi: Fans are like me, they love her, no doubt about that.

Clearwater: And there is no doubt fans hate this next guy.

The lights in the Walkup Skydome go out, a mock 7-11 logo that says “kickin ass 24-7” appears on the jumbo screen. A singular green tinted spotlight shines to Luke “The Irresistible” Force standing on the entrance ramp as smoke surrounds him. “Irresistible Force” by The Too Skinnee J’s begins to play. As the beat kicks into high gear, pyro explodes as Luke busts through the smoke and down the ramp. The spotlight follows Luke to ringside where Luke pauses and surveys the scene. He hops to the apron, with his back to the ropes and facing the crowd, Luke raises his arms in concert with the pyro. Luke enters the ring with the arena stilled blacked out except for the spotlight on Luke. He climbs to the second rope and raises his arms again and the house lights flash on as the ring pyro explodes. As Luke stretches his massive arms out and extends his chest as if he were going to beat on it, we see him in on his glory against the house lights. The house lights go out, and Luke heads to the middle of the ring still in the spotlight.

Jessica: He comes from Virginia Beach ,Virginia. He stands 6 feet 5 inches and tall and weighs 255 pounds. This is Luke “ The Irresistible” Force!!!!

The arena is filled will boos.

Clearwater: This is quite the opposite reaction that Charmaine got. I see parents shielding their children so they don’t have to see him.

Remi: I’ve got to be honest Mike, I‘ve eaten dinner with the guy, he’s not so bad. But I gotta say that stuff he said about my boo Charmaine, I’m not sure I can forgive him.

Clearwater: Remember Remi, you're married.

Remi: C’mon Mikey, can’t a guy dream for a few minutes a week? Luke hasn’t taken off his sweat suit yet, it looks like he’s getting a microphone.

DING DING DING!

Luke: Charmaine, I know you and I have had some harsh words this week and I wanted to say that I am truly sorry. I am truly sorry that your dead ass brother and dead ass grandmother are up above and have watch your garbage ass get beaten up tonight, but’s that’s just how…

Charmaine catches Luke with quick superkick right to his mouth. Luke falls to the canvas and quickly rolls out of the ring. He looks pleadingly to referee Jasmine Silk and shouts at her something about maintaining order. Silk stops Charmaine from following Luke to the outside and ushers her to the opposite corner.

Clearwater: She really caught Luke with that kick. He deserved every bit of it.

Remi: He sure did. Not only did she connect, she looked good doing it. Mikey, have I told you the things I would do to her?

Clearwater: Yes, and you promised you wouldn’t do it again. Please Remi, focus.

Luke is still on the outside as he feels his jaw. He is grimacing with pain and looking with disgust at Charmaine. The look is one of how dare you kick ME? Do you know I am. Luke is still feeling his jaw as walks over to the announce and picks up Mike Clearwater APW mug and spits a mixture of blood and saliva into it before putting it back on the table.

Clearwater: Please Charmaine, beat him senseless tonight.

Remi: Uh, can we get someone down here with a HAZMAT suit to take this mug away?

With referee Jasmine Silk still holding Charmaine at bay in the far corner, Luke slowly slides back into the ring. Once standing, he straightens out his attire and slowly rubs the back of palm across the bottom corner of his lip. He then inspects to see if there was any blood there. Seemingly satisfied that he got all the blood into Clearwater’s mug, Luke raises the microphone.

Luke: Kudos, Charmaine. You got a great shot in on me. I won’t lie, it hurts a little. But I’m not here for that. In fact, I’m not even here to wrestle you tonight. I’m here to beat you up. And like I said, I’m dedicating it to your dead brother Rasheed.

Luke unzips and removes his sweatshirt to reveal a t-shirt with Charmaine’s late brother Rasheed on it. On the shirt are the letters “GYG” and the words “Glad You’re Gone”. Charmaine sees this loses it. She tries to plow over and through Jasmine Silk . Jasmine is able to slow Charmaine down a little and Luke escapes to the outside. While Charmaine was focused on Luke, two men came from the back. The smaller of the two is carrying a chair. They are now standing in the ring as Charmaine turns around frustrated that she couldn’t get to Luke.

Remi: Oh no, Charmaine didn’t see those guys and she looks shocked.

Clearwater: I know who those guys are. The one with the chair is Teddy Geisel and the beast with him is Apex Onyx. I don’t think this ends well for Charmaine.

Remi: But look at my girl, she has no fear and she is attacking Apex Onyx. That guys goes about 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 360 pounds. Unreal girl.

As Charmaine goes to attack Onyx, she is met with the chair from Teddy Geisel that just floors Charmaine. Luke Force enters the ring and begins to direct traffic. He orders them to drag Charmaine to near the corner where Geisel and Onyx each land 3 leg drops from the ropes. Teddy from the top and Apex from the middle. With Force overseeing every move, Apex Onyx easily picks up the rag doll like Charmaine and places her on the top rope, where she is now sitting. Apex turns his back to her and Geisel sprints at Onyx. Onyx lifts Geisel onto his shoulders so that Teddy can put Charmaine in a suplex position. With Teddy holding onto Charmaine, Apex essentially power bombs both of them causing Charmaine to take to full brunt of a superplex and a powerbomb.

Clearwater: I know that move, they call it the Quantum Plex. This is horrible.

Luke motions to Jasmine Silk to have the timekeeper ring the bell and she does. As soon as the timekeeper rings the bell, Silk calls for it again and motions to Luke that he has been disqualified.

Clearwater: Disgusting. Luke does not seem bothered by the fact that he just got DQ’d. But at least justice was done and Charmaine is the winner.

Remi: I love me some Charmaine, but she does not look like a winner right now. Oh great Luke still has something to say.

Apex and Geisel have used their feet to roll the lifeless Charmaine out of the ring and now they stand behind Luke.

Luke: Congratulations to each and every one of you, and even to you Charmaine. You have each witnessed history tonight. You have each witnessed Quintessential Perfection. qp didn’t come here tonight to tell you what we are about, we came here to show you what we are about. If you want someone to tell you what we are about, just wait for that piece of crap right there to wake up, she’ll tell you.

Luke drops the mic as he points to Charmaine lying on the floor outside of the ring. Bad to the Bone plays over the PA system the newly formed qp leaves the arena.

Clearwater: I’m not exactly what that means for APW, but it can’t be good. Lets get to the next match.

Allen Anderson vs Johnny Blaze

Clearwater: Up next, Allen Anderson tries to continue the momentum from his first victory last week as he goes up against the big man, Johnny Blaze.

Remi: He’s part of the Masuda Corporation, he’s got Dani Applegate by his side, but that means nothing when you’re in the ring with a man as powerful as Blaze. If he wants his second victory, he needs to stay focused.

Clearwater: Blaze has got his own worries, searching for his father, the legendary Night Rider. Perhaps that’ll distract him in his effort tonight. Regardless, let’s go to Jessica Kaine with the ring introductions.

“Lords of Underground” plays while Allen comes out wearing a red hoodie in an attempt to get himself pumped. He slowly walks to the ring and enters with a cocky grin on his face before taking off the hoodie and climbing the top turnbuckle posing for the crowd. Dani Applegate accompanies him the entire time.

Jessica: This contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing the Masuda Corporation and accompanied by Dani Applegate, from Harlem, NY, weighing in at 220 lbs., Allen Anderson!

Remi: This kid’s all full of piss and vinegar. I wonder what he’s filling Dani Applegate with.

Clearwater: You are gross, sir.

The lights in the arena go dim as 'Lit Up' by Buckcherry begins playing. Flames light the runway as The Phenom Johnny Blaze makes his way to the ring. He shakes hands with those at ringside before jumping over the ropes and entering. He hits the ropes and sits on the middle one as the referee explains the do's and don'ts to him.

Jessica: His opponent, from Chicago, IL, weighing in at 335 lbs., Johnny Blaze!

Clearwater: Blaze is always “lit up” for competition.

Remi: I may be gross, but that was corny.

DING DING DING!

Anderson and Blaze lock up. Anderson traps Blaze in a headlock. Blaze pushes Anderson towards the ropes and drops to his stomach. Anderson hops over him and comes off the opposite ropes. Blaze pops up and hits a picture perfect drop kick.

Clearwater: Such agility for a man his size!

Blaze brings Anderson to the corner and gives him a few nice chops to his bare chest. He attempts to whip him into the opposite corner, but Anderson reverses and send Blaze colliding back first into the corner. Anderson charges and hits a step-up corner enzuigiri. Blaze falls to a knee.

Clearwater: A swift enziguri by the educated feet of Anderson!

Remi: Educated at the School of Hard Knocks in Harlem.

Anderson sends Blaze off the ropes but Blaze reverses. Anderson comes off the ropes and avoids a clothesline. Blaze turns around and is met with a handspring back elbow. Blaze stumbles backward and falls through the ropes.

Clearwater: Nasty spill to the outside!

The ref starts a ten count. Anderson tries to go to the outside but the ref stops him. Finally, Anderson gets impatient, runs around the ref, and flies to the outside with a beautiful Fosbury Flop. Anderson immediately gets to his feet after taking down Blaze and holds his arm out, yelling to the crowd.

Allen: Who’s the best?!

Clearwater: That was amazing!

Anderson whips Blaze into the steel steps. Blaze ends up seated on the floor with his backs to the steps. Anderson takes a few steps back and charges at him. He goes for a knee smash but Blaze moves. Anderson’s knee hits the steps and he topples over them.

Remi: That’s not good.

Blaze scoops Anderson up. He runs a few feet and powerslams Anderson onto the outside floor.

Clearwater: Blaze using his power wherever he can!

Blaze rolls into the ring and takes a breather while the ref counts.

1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7…

Anderson starts to pull himself by the ring skirt. He climbs up onto the apron. Blaze reaches over the top rope and grabs Anderson. He lifts him into the air and brings him crashing to the canvas with a vertical suplex. Blaze goes for the cover.

One!

Two!!

Anderson kicks out.

Blaze argues with the ref about his count before bringing his attention back to Anderson, who is struggling to get up. Blaze pushes him towards the ropes and goes off the opposite ropes himself. He sprints towards Anderson, leaps, and hits a flying clothesline.

Clearwater: He turned him inside out!

Blaze sets Anderson up for a piledriver and does a slashing motion across his throat. He lifts but Anderson sandbags it and back body drops Blaze to the floor. Blaze gets to a knee. Anderson goes for The Game Winner but Blaze grabs his foot and stands up. Anderson goes for an enziguri but Blaze ducks it and continues to hold the foot. Anderson rolls forward, causing Blaze to get draped over the second rope. Anderson runs and attempts a Tiger Feint Kick but Blaze ducks it and gets to his feet. Anderson runs to the corner and climbs up the turnbuckles. Blaze turns around and Anderson executes a Corner Stylin’ DDT. He goes for the cover.

One!

Two!!

Blaze kicks out. Anderson drags Blaze to the corner and attempts a Harlem Drop, but Blaze escapes and press slams Anderson off the top rope and to the floor. Blaze takes a quick rest in the corner before walking towards Anderson and grabbing his leg for a Figure Four. Anderson pushes Blaze away with his free foot. Blaze goes back a few steps. He marches toward Anderson to try the submission hold again but Anderson attacks with a kip-up headscissors. Blaze somersaults forward.

Remi: Was that Anderson’s second or third wind?

Both men get to their feet quickly. Anderson goes for the Game Winner but Blaze ducks. Anderson turns around, only to be lifted up into a fireman’s carry but Blaze and spun around.

Clearwater: HELL RIDE!

Blaze drags Anderson to the corner and pulls him up the turnbuckles. He sets Anderson and falls to the canvas below.

Clearwater: LIT UP!

Blaze covers.

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

The ref calls for the bell and raises Blaze’s hand.

Jessica: The winner of this contest, Johnny Blaze!

Clearwater: He may big the bigger man, but Johnny Blaze was quicker than Anderson tonight and avoided that Game Winner superkick.

Voice: Aaaaaaaaaaallllennnnnn!! Oh, Allen!!!

Anderson looks around, focusing on the AlphaTron. Jaice Wilds waves, a grin.

Jaice Wilds: Hey there, little buddy!! I just wanted to let you know. I just came from Irina's office. So I figured, you want the chance to prove your worth? I'll give you three. Well, two of three. That is; you and me are gonna battle it out in a two out of three falls match at Ascension.

Anderson nods, throwing up the bird.

Jaice: Oh, and one more thing. Since you beat the hell out of me with that steel chair a couple weeks back… you remember that?... Irina has ALSO agreed to make that match…

No.
Holds.
Barred!!

Anderson's eyes nearly bulge from his head as he screams obscenities at the Tron. The crowd roars, Wilds shrugging as he salutes Anderson.

Jaice: See ya soon, kid.

The AlphaTron fades, Anderson throwing a fit.

Remi: Well, at least Anderson will still be able to tap that ass tonight.

Clearwater: Alright, let’s go to commercial!

Clearwater whispers to St. Remi.

Clearwater: What is wrong with you, man?

Lilianna Rose/Alex Scott vs “Jazzy” John McCarty/Spartan

Monday Night Metal returns from commercial with all four competitors already in the ring. Spartan and McCarty are conferring in their corner, while Alex and Lili appear to be in a heated debate.

Clearwater: Off to a rocky start tonight for the number one contenders to the Tag Team Titles. Rose has made it clear from the beginning that she has no interest in the tag division, while Scott sees this as a stepping stone to greater opportunities.

Remi: Maybe for him, but dude, between those super HAWT leaked photos and rumors of a dependency issue, Rose needs to focus on the opportunity she’s got, because I get a feeling it might be the only one she gets.

Clearwater: Harsh, but fair, I guess. Wait -- you LOOKED at the photos?

Remi: I mean, they’re right there on the internet. For FREE bro!

Clearwater: Even for you, Remi, that’s pretty low.

Remi: All I heard was free nudes, my dude.

Clearwater: ...moving right along. Rock-paper-scissors and McCarty throws scissors to cut Spartan’s paper, so the Jazzman starts out for his team, while Rose shoves her partner forward and exits the ring.

DING DING DING!

Remi: HERE WE GO! Scott looking to tie up with McCarty, but McCarty isn’t having it and jacks Alex Scott’s jaw with an open right hand!

Alex nods, smiling at John. Now he knows what’s up, and returns the favor. Jazzy shakes it off and grins, then points to himself, mouthing “My turn” at his opponent. He nails Scott with an enormous chop!

Clearwater: A little back and forth between these two evenly matched men, but one of them has to get the upper hand soon!

Scott comes back with a chop of his own and McCarty backs up a step, rubbing at his chest. He holds up his hands to the crowd, as if asking if they want more of the same, getting himself a cheap pop that annoys Scott. Alex grabs John’s shoulder to turn him around, and the Jazzman responds with another, bigger chop that sends Scott staggering.

Remi: Those are some deadly jazz hands, bro!

McCarty is done playing and follows up with a snap kick to the gut. He grabs Scott and lifts him up for a bridging suplex!

Clearwater: Suplex into a bridging pin! The Jazzman was just tuning up the instruments but now he’s ready to jam!

One!

Two!!

Remi: And a kickout at two and a half! Scott rolls to his feet and immediately goes on offense! He plows right into John with a shoulder and bulldozes him toward his corner, looking for a partner who isn’t there!

Lilianna Rose hops down just as her partner gestures to her, pretending she didn’t see him, all her focus on an apparently chipped fingernail. Scott rolls his eyes and mounts the turnbuckle, raining down punches on McCarty. McCarty rallies back and wraps his arms around Alex Scott’s waist, charging forward as he carries him and dropping him in the middle of the ring with a resounding impact!

Clearwater: Running powerbomb! I didn’t even know McCarty had that in his arsenal!

Remi: Dude, I think he was just improvising! Usually, I don’t like jazz, but if McCarty keeps this up, I could be a fan!

The Jazzman knows Alex isn’t down for the count yet, and hits the ropes for a quick elbow drop from above! Scott tries to get out of the way, but he’s not quite fast enough. McCarty hops back to his feet and grabs Scott’s wrist, hauling him back toward his own corner, where Spartan waits, hand extended.

Clearwater: McCarty showing that expertise that made him the last-ever WCF Tag Champion as he tags in his partner and the two of them go to work on Alex Scott! Spartan lifts Scott up while Jazzy John climbs the turnbuckle! Frogsplash-backbreaker combo and Alex Scott could be done for! Spartan with the pin as McCarty slips through the ropes!

One!

Two!!

Remi: BRO! Lili Rose to the rescue! Outta nowhere, dude! She just appeared and fed Spartan a big ol’ faceful of boot!

Rose drags the limp form of her partner back toward their corner and slips to the outside to slap him roughly across the shoulders. That’s good enough for the official, who signals Lilianna Rose as the new legal person for her team.

Clearwater: Rose tagging herself in, after letting her partner take all the abuse -- and I’ll be damned if that wasn’t her plan all along!

Remi: DUDE -- Offensive!

Clearwater: Not my fault you sold your soul, “bro”. Rose after Spartan now with a handspring hurricanrana!

Remi: Caught by the massive Spartan! He flings her over his shoulder with an effortless suplex!

Spartan isn’t done yet. He pulls Rose back to her feet and whips her into a neutral corner, then charges in after her with a jumping knee -- and misses! Rose moves out of the way at the last possible second and Spartan smacks right into the turnbuckle. Lilianna is quick to take advantage, dropping him with a legsweep before she dives on his chest to unleash a flurry of punches.

Remi: Spartan is feeling that crowd energy now!

Spartan catches the flying fists and shoves Rose off of him as he roars to his feet. Rose catches her balance just in time to meet the oncoming spear from the Hardcore Champ!

Clearwater: There’s the setup! Spear! And now Rose helpless on Spartan’s shoulders! Here it comes!

Spartan drops an arm across Rose’s chest and hooks her leg.

The two climb opposing turnbuckles and pose for the cheering crowd as Alex Scott walks back up the ramp, and Lilianna Rose skulks away through the audience.

Remi: A big win for the Hardcore Champ and the Jazzman, but Rose and Scott better get their act together, bro, if they’re gonna get those tag straps away from the Canadian Coalition!

Masuda Corporation Special Exhibition Match

“Namahage” by Ningen Isu plays out a number of Japanese security guards in black suits.

Mike Clearwater: Looks like we have an answer to the surprise.

St. Remi: More of those goons. How many does Jubei have?

Mike Clearwater: They’re a private army.

St. Remi: Don’t speak too soon… here comes the champion. You’d think he was a dignitary.

Jubei walks out with someone at each side, with the one in back significantly larger so he can hoist the World Tile where the entire arena can see it. He makes a showing entrance to the ring by circling the entire square, reaching out to fans as he does.

St. Remi: Oh come on! He doesn’t meant it.

Mike Clearwater: Maybe, but could he have another of those gift cards this week?

St. Remi: No… it’s all an act.

Masuda enters the ring and receives a microphone from Jessica Kaine. He waits for all their booing tire out before addressing them from the ring’s center.

Jubei: What a time to be a fan of Alpha Pro-Wrestling. Great talent emerging every week like Charmaine “the God” and the “Unstoppable” Noris Cranely. Give these new kids a hand. Come on, Flagstaff!

Mike Clearwater: These people aren’t biting, but I don’t think he cares.

St. Remi: He does. It’s all part of his sick game.

Jubei: Very well… let’s get back to business. I have brought my Masuda Corporation here to APW, and we without missing a beat, Allen Anderson and I secured a hard fought victory over Jaice Wilds and ole Smitty.

Boos go from angry to toxic at that cheap heat.

Jubei: I feel your energy is misguided. So I’ve brought a little something to show you all.

Mike Clearwater: This can’t be good.

St. Remi: It’s the Great Stevo!

Three developmental talents get into a dispute with the overly ambitious Great Stevo, APW’s masked retriever. He finds himself at their mercy when a large group of Masuda’s Ikeda Clan descends on the violence. Numbers overwhelm the situation, calming the fight and pulling associated parties apart before management can react. ASU interim leader Vasilis Knight and APW Doctor Auron Vega appear with the rest of the ASU to help their friend, only find Jubei’s men handled the whole matter already. Knight and Auron take Stevo away but not without giving their dirtiest glares at the Ikeda Clan.

Jubei: I promised to deliver peace and order. That is one moment of many requiring my attention, and I anticipate more as time passing on, Flagstaff. My kingship is unnegotiable. However, I want everyone here and at home to understand my commitment to finally culling this wild company’s leash. That is why I earned the right to be a special guest referee in tonight’s main event—because you can trust me to do what’s right when others do not.

Boos die out with only the diehards continuing a hopeless fight.

Jubei: Now onto the meat of tonight’s presentation. More dreams will come true, so let’s not delay that any further. And no, there will be no gifts of money tonight. For dreams are made of something more special than cash. It’s the unicorn little girls see at night. Boys hitting a walk-off home run in the World Series. We get to grant a wish this time… so let’s bring our lucky kid out!

Mike Clearwater: He’s here on Metal! It’s the Great Stevo!

St. Remi: Why am I getting a bad feeling about this?

Stevo high fives everyone down to the ring and zips under the ropes. He hits all four ropes with Jubei still at the center just feigning amusement. Cheers quiet when Jubei brings the young talent to his side.

Jubei: Are you ready for your first real match on Monday Night Metal?

Stevo: Let’s do this Mr. Masuda! I’m ready for everything you’ve got!

Fans go into a “Stev-O” chant, and Masuda lets them milk that one dry before tapping his mic.

Jubei: I’m sorry, son. But I have an important duty tonight, and therefore cannot wrestle you.

Boos explode despite how Jubei holds up his finger.

Jubei: But I have replacement you will all find amusing. Shall we bring him out?

Mike Clearwater: Who could it be?

St. Remi: Another bootlicker, but how many more could be left? It sure as hell isn’t Jubei.

Mike Clearwater: I don’t think he could stoop that low.

“Slip to the Void” hits the scene with Jubei giving the Great Stevo a congratulatory pat on the shoulder. He then exits casually with the lights fading to their lowest. Fire engulfs the Alphatron as pyro shoot up around the staging area, all in anticipation of Leon Dread.

Mike Clearwater: It’s Leon Dread. Hell’s best soldier is back!

St. Remi: And he’s with Jubei? Look, he’s wearing the Masuda Corporation’s colors!

Mike Clearwater: This was quite a setup for poor Stevo.

St. Remi: Typical Jubei… the kid only wanted his shot at the Champ. Now he has to contend with that demon.

Dread enters the ring wearing Masuda Corp. Black and gold while garnering boos from the fans. Stevo has no idea how to react with the noticeably larger man in Leon Dread stomping around him. Dread removes his coat and prepares to attack. A look from Jubei stays him until an official arrives.

Mike Clearwater: There’s Jasmine Silk. And I think we’ve got a match!

St. Remi: Fans love it… but will they still be cheering once Dread gets his hands on that kid?

DING DING DING!

Mike Clearwater: And here we go—Powerslam!

St. Remi: Oh! He just he dropped Stevo like a sack of potatoes.

Stevo kips up right into a short-arm clothesline. Jubei leans against the announce tables outside lapping up the sight. Dread goes work applying a neck vise on Stevo. He looks to Jubei with a hand on the brim of Stevo’s mask, but Masuda shakes his head “no” to that.

St. Remi: He might be from hell, but he’s taking order from The Master.

Mike Clearwater: Dread trapping the arms… tiger suplex!

One!

Two!!

Mike Clearwater: The Great Stevo lives on by a thread.

St. Remi: Leon Dread might be ruthless, but he also has a lot to prove tonight.

Mike Clearwater: Especially with Masuda watching on.

Fans boo when Dread pulls Stevo off the canvas and clubs him back down. That follows with a trip to the corner with heavy knee strikes.

Mike Clearwater: Dread has turned this ring into his own whipping block.

St. Remi: And Stevo is his mule.

Mike Clearwater: Gigantic clothesline! How does Stevo still have his head after that one?

St. Remi: Leon hits the ropes… he missed!

Mike Clearwater: Stevo escapes in time, tying Dread’s boot in the turnbuckle.

Stevo does hits a couple kicks to the thigh before executing a crafty leg sweep. Fans go into an uproar with Leon Dread reduced to his knees. Stevo stumbles to the far ropes with full head of steam.

Mike Clearwater: He wants something big!

St. Remi: No!

Mike Clearwater: Deadly Thorn! Dread answers back with a huge punch to the throat.

St. Remi: Stevo’s in trouble.

Mike Clearwater: Dread Falls! A cradle DDT demolishing the Great Stevo.

St. Remi: So long kid…

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: And your winner… Leon Dread!

Mike Clearwater: Where’ Masuda going?

St. Remi: Leave him alone! He’s already dead!

Jubei steps in front of Dread so that he can tend to the motionless heap that was the Great Stevo. He slumps into a ball when Jubei’s hand goes to let him off the ground. He then pulls the kid of the canvas and raises his arm for the crowd. Leon Dread stands behind him with a shrug.

Mike Clearwater: Well that was… surprising.

St. Remi: We’re not buying it. That same man nearly crippled Nyeo Son. He’s not here to help anyone.

Mike Clearwater: Maybe, but he and the victorious Leon Dread leave the victors tonight.

St. Remi: Just you wait, Mikey. We’ll see his true colors soon enough.

Mike Clearwater: Either way, look out APW. Because the Masuda Corporation just got bigger.

Steven Osbourne vs Road Dawg

As soon as the Masuda Corporation Exhibition match was over, the camera moves to Jessica Kaine standing in the middle of the ring waiting for her cue to announce the next match. Mike Clearwater and Jonah St Remington were still shocked at the events that just transpired.

Clearwater: That was an….. interesting match.

Remi: Mikey boy! That just shows the power of the Masuda Corporation! The other wrestlers should take note of the growth of the stable in APW! Let me tell you something Mikey! I already have great feeling about Masuda Corporation! With the Juebi as the leader and Allen Anderson as the promising understudy, the Masuda Corporation is primed to be greater than Four Horsemen, NWO and DX combined!

Clearwater: That’s even a more interesting take.

Rapping for Jesus by Pastor Jim begins to play and Steven Osbourne along with Veronica Anderson and Amber Del Valee arrive. The champion begins to strut through the curtain carrying his trusty bible with the Junior Heavyweight Championship belt over his right shoulder. He passes out bibles and prays for as many women as he can as he makes his way to the ring. One of the women who got Steven’s bible began to scream hysterically jumping up and down before climbing over ramp. Steven and the ladies turn around as the girl gets tackled NFL style by three security guards. The girl begs Steven to call her while she is handcuffed and taken away. Steven turns at the camera and shakes his head before entering the ring.

Jessica: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!

Clearwater: Our new Junior Heavyweight Champion, Steven Osborne is getting set for action against the North American Champion Road Dawg!

Jessica: Making his way to the ring, the, uh... Super Pious -- are we still going with this? Whatever. Junior Heavyweight Champion, STEVEN OSBOURNE!

Solemnly, Steven hands off his title belt and his bible to Veronica and Amber, and the two valets exit the ring, Veronica wearing an expression of long-suffering and Amber's face a mask of vapidness.

Remi: You know what Mikey?! I’m liking Steven Osbourne as our new champion! I mean Lucy was good and all but If I must hear about her daughter one more time, then I’m going to rip my own ears off! Yes Lucy you’re a single mother! Oh the horror! Well guess what Sixx?! I have a wife that I must be faithful to! You don’t see me bitch about it every week!

Clearwater: You know that many wrestlers have families that they drive them to be the competitors they are today? What’s wrong with Lucy Sixx caring about her daughter? It is very heartwarming that she thinks about her! It shows that Lucy cares!

Remi: But is boorrrrrinnnnnngggggg! We’ve seen this script thousands of times already. It’s time to get rid of stale bullshit like (In mocking voice.) “I’m fighting for my daughter!” The crowd is already bored of that! We need new and fresh stories like Steven and his church! I love this guy! He oozes charisma a man of God I say!

Clearwater: I don’t think God agrees with that Remi.

Remi: Oh! You speak for God now Mikey?! Ask him if I’ve been good enough to get to heaven. I mean I am the most AWESOME person in the world who is bringing joy to my beautiful commentating. Bobby “the brain” Heenan don’t got shit on me! Open the pearly gates I say!

Clearwater: Ladies and gentlemen we apologize for the blasphemous remarks! We are a company whose employees share many faiths! I assure you that Remi will be disciplined for what he said.

Remi: PFFFFTTTTT! This is the problem today! Too much political correctness! I can’t breathe without being called a racist! Back in my day when you were offended you punched people in the face!

Clearwater: I would really want to do that to you right now.

Remi: Then let’s make it a match at Ascension then!

Mike takes out his flask containing whisky and took a sip already tired of Remis constantly making a fool of himself. The crowd pops at the sound of I’ve been Everywhere by Jonny Cash. Road Dawg arrives at the entrance riding a 2019 Harley-Davidson Iron 1200 with pyro fountains going off behind him. The North American Championship is seen wrapped around his waist. The camera shows Steven making kissing faces at it while Road Dawg exits his motorcycle.

Jessica: Riding his way to the ring from the middle of nowhere weighing in at 220 pounds the North American Champion: Road Dawg!

Clearwater: Road Dawg has so far experiencing his ups and downs as champion but has otherwise remained steady! Beating Jonny Blaze last week!

Remi: He has cost me thousands of dollars two weeks ago thanks to Jaice Wilds blatant cheating but at the end of the day I’m not going to bet against my boy Road Dawg! The man has what it takes to be a main eventer in APW!

Clearwater: That’s one of the few things we agree with Remi! Road Dawg is poised to be a future contender for the World Championship belt.

Remi: Which he will lose against Jubei!

Clearwater: I thought you wouldn’t bet against Road Dawg.

Remi: Well this is where I draw the line here.

Road Dawg hands off his belt to the referee, who promptly signals for the bell.

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: Champion vs Champion match underway!

Road Dawg and Steven briefly lock up with Steven quickly putting Road Dawg into a headlock. Road Dawg counters lifting him up with a falling slam.

Remi: Great counter by Road Dawg!

Road Dawg grabs Steven’s hair lifting him to his feet before Irish Whipping him to the left corner. Road Dawg chases after him but Steven grabs the metal corners jumping and over Road Dawg whose momentum sent him crashing chest first onto the turnbuckles staggering him. Steven takes the opportunity and puts Road Dawg into a rollup pin in which Road Dawg powers out at one. Road Dawg is quickly on his feet about to counter but Steven gets up and rakes the North American Champion in the eye sending stumbling back on to the turnbuckle.

Clearwater: That’s a cheap move!

Remi: That’s a veterans move! That’s why Steven is the champ!

The referee began to get on Steven’s face about his cheap tactic. While Road Dawg recovers, Veronica climbs on top of the ring apron and smacks him in the back of the head with the Junior Heavyweight Championship. The referee was still distracted with Steven as Road Dawg fell face first onto the mat. Steven pushes the referee out of the way and covered Road Dawg for the pin in which he kicks out at two. Shaking his head, Road Dawg Irish whips him to the corner and runs on top of Road Dawg executing the Frankestiner.

Clearwater: The Sexicutioner!

Steven was about to pin Road Dawg but he received a punch on the nose for his troubles. Road Dawg recovers and begins to unload on Steven with a flurry of mounted punches. He then lifts Steven up with pumphandle slam. As soon as he slams Steven, Amber jumps on the ring and motions to the referee. Raising an eyebrow, the ref gets closer and was about to tell Amber to leave but she kisses him!

Remi: Love in the ring?!

Clearwater: More like distraction!

Road Dawg turns around seeing the ref struggling to break free of Amber’s kiss. Steve grabs back and sees an opportunity. He yells at Road Dawg who turns around and is kicked HARD on the groin by Steven!

Remi: Beautiful music! Sweet groin music!

Clearwater: That’s illegal! Referee stop the match!

Remi: If the ref didn’t see it then it’s fair game!

Amber jumps off the Apron freeing the referee while Steven goes for the pin.

Steven covers Road Dawg for the three count.

One!

Jessica: Here is your winner! The Junior Heavyweight Champion, Steven Osborne!

Odin Balfore vs Tommy Fiend

Clearwater: Tommy Fiend is in the ring, looking pretty nervous, but focused on the stage as he faces none other than the "All Father" Odin Balfore!

Remi: Why do they keep putting these jabronis up against the God of Pro Wrestling!? I don't get it.

"With Oden On Our Side” Hit’s the PA system. The arena grows dark as the fans get to their feet to catch a glimpse of the stage. The fans stand and cheer and once the vocals starts, the arena lights flash back on and there stands Odin Balfore, centre stage. Odin stares down at the ring with a sinister grin as the fans sing along with the chorus.

Clearwater: That doesn't matter now, Remi, because here he comes now! Odin Balfore is in the building, and he means business!

Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!

Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!

Jessica: Making his way to the ring, from the Federal District of Poon Guinea. Weighing in at 360lbs, he is the "All Father" … OOODIIIIIIIIN BAAAAAAALFOOOOORE!

The fans pop insanely right after as Odin begins to walk down the ramp at a slow and methodical pace. Once he gets to the foot of the ring, he steps up on it and looks around the arena again before stepping over the ropes..

Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist...

Odin cuts off the fans as he raises his hand in triumph. Odin turns back to the ring as the fans finish their part.

Crowd: The battle is.. already won!

Odin stares down his opponent as he waits for the match to get underway.

Remi: Is Odin… laughing?

Clearwater: He does not look intimidated at all.

Remi: Bro, I don't know what this Fiend guy thinks he's gonna do, but beating Odin Balfore is not going to be on his list of achievements.

DING DING DING!

The ref calls for the bell. Tommy poses for a lock up, but Odin just stares down at him.

Odin: Really? You sure that's a good idea?

Tommy changes his strategy, dropkicking the All Father, who staggers a bit!

Clearwater: Wow! Tommy's not afraid! He's going for another dropkick!

He hits it, taking Odin down to one knee!

Remi: Nope. He's posing to the crowd. Bad idea, bro.

Clearwater: Not for long. He's hitting the ropes again!

Remi: CAUGHT! Odin just drilled him with a clothesline!

Clearwater: Odin on one knee is about the same height as Tommy Fiend on both feet. Odin knew what Tommy had in mind and used his momentum against him.

Remi: Surtr's Revenge! Fiend is out, bro!

Clearwater: He's not covering him though. What does he have in mind?

Odin grabs Tommy Fiend and locks in his modified arm bar dragon sleeper, World Eater. Fiend taps immediately.

DING DING DING!

Jessica: The winner of this match via submission… ODIN… BAAAAL--

Odin snatches the mic away from Jessica Kaine, who begrudgingly walks out of the ring.

Odin: Zurra. Irina. Whoever the hell books this shit. After I murder your precious commissioner, you better book me against real competition. If not… this will keep happening to your so called "talent".

He slams the mic down and stalks down Tommy Fiend. Just as he closes in, the lights go out.

Remi: Ahh shit. Here we go again.

Clearwater: Shades of Alpha Showdown. This is exactly what happened after Odin defeated Roku.

The lights go back up, and in place of Tommy Fiend is a golden rose. Odin, looking ticked, picks the mic back up and crushes the rose with his boot.

Odin: I'm tired of these damn games! I came here to fight, not for circus ac--

Clearwater: It's Jason Zurra! Jason's attacking the All Father! The crowd is electric!

Remi: This dude has a death wish.

Clearwater: If he dies, he's going down fighting. Just like last week, they're brawling like wild animals!

Jason gets Odin to the ropes and clotheslines him over the top. Odin lands on his feet, but is staggered. Jason takes advantage, and, carefully, makes his way up the top turnbuckle.

Clearwater: Is he gonna fly? Jason's gonna fly!

Remi: CAUGHT! Odin has him by the throat!

Odin goes for a chokeslam, but Jason jumps out of it, striking at Odin again. The battle continues down the ramp.

Clearwater: This is Mayhem! Someone get security!

In the nick of time, refs, staff, and the ASU all run in to try and break the two up, but even then, to no avail, as they continue to fight through the stage entrance.

Clearwater: Where are they going? Are they going to fight all over the arena!?

Remi: I hope so, Mikey bro! I brought popcorn! Want some?

The feed shows the two continuing to fight backstage. Everyone tries helplessly to keep control of the brawl, but to no avail. At one point, Odin shoves Jason on the camera man, cutting off the feed.

Remi: Ahh, dude! I just broke out the popcorn too!

Clearwater: Hopefully, we can find out what happened. I especially hope everyone is safe. Until then, the show must go on.

Big Bad Bodacious vs “Full Metal” Lucy Sixx

Clearwater: One week to go before the best and brightest step into the ring in Chicago, Illinois to make good on those title shots they won a month ago at Alpha Showdown, but tonight has been a night full of pay-per-view level matches.

Remi: With a roster this stacked, bro, how could it not? I may have strong opinions, but I got mad respect for anybody willing to go toe to toe with the top talent -- the Alphas that put the PRO in Alpha Pro, ya feel me?

Clearwater: Yes. Please get your hand off my leg.

Remi: My bad. I thought you were sending me signals, bro.

Clearwater: ...No. Anyway, to your point about respect, you can’t have more respect than for the woman about to face off tonight against the mad bull himself!

Jessica: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL! First to the ring, from Los Angeles, California… she is “Full Metal” LUCY SIXX!!!!

The lights in the arena go out as “Looks that Kill” begins blaring throughout the arena. Lucy Sixx steps out from behind the curtain. She stops at the top of the ramp to head bang a bit before walking briskly to the ring. She slides in and awaits her opponent.

Jessica: And her opponent, from Oklahoma, USA… BIG! BAD! BODACIOUS!!!!

Bodacious' music starts playing over the speakers as red, white, and blue fireworks start firing down the ramp towards the ring and scenes of the rodeo bull Bodacious bucking out of the gate, heading butting riders, spliced together with scenes of Big Bad Bodacious leaping at and headbutting random people on the street. Bodacious comes out of the crowd from the third level and works his way down through the crowd, high fiving and headbutting crowd members. Once he hops the fence and gets ringside Bodacious points and death glares his opponents in the ring, then while death staring he puts his hands on his head, pointing his index fingers up imitating a bull before charging into the ring.

Remi: Bodacious making that statement loud and clear -- you mess with the bull, you get the horns!

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: There’s the bell, and Bodacious wastes no time charging at Lucy Sixx -- who sidesteps like a bullfighter!

Sixx mimics swirling a cape like a matador, smirking at the crowd, who respond with a hearty --

Crowd: OLÉ!

Bodacious gives an impatient snort, glaring daggers at Sixx as she turns to face him, smirking. He beckons to her, inviting Sixx to take a free shot.

Remi: Lucy better watch herself! Bodacious isn’t the kinda dude you play around with!

Sixx struts to him until they’re nose-to-chest, and she lets her gaze drift up, unblinking and unafraid. Slowly, she pulls her hand back… and drops it again, turning her back as she walks away from Bodacious. Frustrated, he stalks after her -- and walks right into a back elbow!

Clearwater: The former Junior Heavyweight Champ reminding us all what made her a champion in the first place!

Sixx follows up with a forearm, then hits the ropes and leaps off with a springboard moonsault!

Remi: YES! That’s how you do it, bay-bay! Lucy Sixx just rocked the Bovine’s world and now she’s ready to capitalize!

Lucy waits for Bodacious to get a vertical base and charges in with a spear -- only to be stopped with a big knee!

Clearwater: OH! That’s not pretty! Sixx with the spear, but eats a knee instead and she looks dazed! The Bull following up with that trademark headbutt! Here’s the cover!

Remi: Shoulder up just before the three! There’s a lot more to Lucy Sixx than the rockstar party girl image she portrays!

Bodacious backs off to let her up, one foot scuffing the mat like a bull pawing the ground. As soon as Lucy finds her feet, he rushes in! Sixx is ready with the counter!

Clearwater: Superkick! The Bodacious One ran right into it, and now he’s trying to shake it off!

Remi: Following up with a picture-perfect headscissors takedown -- and how I wish she’d do that to me! For purely, uh, professional reasons, of course, bro.

Clearwater: Professional. Right. Meanwhile… Sixx lays boots to the downed Bodacious, but they don’t seem to be having much effect!

Bodacious catches Lucy’s foot as it comes in toward his ribs again, and flings her away from him as he leaps to a vertical base. Lucy charges, looking for another moonsault, but Bodacious catches her in his beefy arms and puts her down with a gorilla press slam!

Remi: Hey! That’s a lady, you can’t treat her that way!

Clearwater: Well, it’s a wrestling match, so he can, actually.

Remi: Bro, you’re not helping.

Bodacious grabs a handful of Lucy’s hair, pulling her up again -- and immediately drops her across his knee with a backbreaker! Dropping her to the canvas, he starts climbing the turnbuckles.

Clearwater: Things are looking pretty grim for the former Junior Heavyweight Champ!

Standing on top of the corner, Bodacious puts his index fingers on either side of his head as the crowd pops big!

Remi: Oh, dudebro… not the Horns! I can’t watch! Tell me when it’s over!

Bodacious turns, lines up his shot, and launches himself off the turnbuckle with that diving headbutt!

Clearwater: Bodacious with the rollup and it’s over!

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica: The winner of this match -- BIG BAD BODACIOUS!!!!

“The Ballad Of Bodacious” by Primus hits the speakers and the fans go nuts as Bodacious steps onto the turnbuckle, making bull’s horns with his fingers again. Most of the audience mimics his action as they pop for the big man.

Remi: Too bad for Lucy, you gotta wonder how this loss is going to affect her going forward.

Clearwater: Time will tell, Remi. That’s it for this match, but there’s plenty to come with more tag team action up next!

”Unstoppable” Noris Cranley/Dean Wolf vs The Canadian Coalition

Clearwater: Now on to this Monday Night Metal co-main event! Newcomer Noris Cranley teams up with the unpredictable Dean Wolf -- who we heard from earlier tonight -- to take on the Alpha Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions, the Canadian Coalition!

Remi: Bro, this match is fixing to be LIT. After an impressive debut last week, I can’t wait to see what Cranley has in store!

Clearwater: Well, let’s find out!

Jessica: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is a tag team match, scheduled for ONE FALL!

"Unstoppable" by The Score sounds off around the interior of the arena immediately drawing a supportive reaction from the audience. In synchronization to the beat tempo of the song, a sudden dim to the lighting system strengthens the atmospheric mystery of darkness to encompass the audience. A blueish light shines down upon center stage revealing a figure cloaked under a hoodie surrounded by a mystical fog with his back turned to the camera. As Noris spins around to show his face, the lights are restored to their brightest potential; Thus, a confident stroll down to the entrance path implicated by the jovial interactions with the fans garners the attention of his loyal followers.

Jessica: Introducing first! Hailing from Miami, Florida! At five feet, nine inches tall; Weighing in at 188 pounds, he is "Unstoppable" Noris Cranley!

Noris stands before the northern apron section of the entrance. He falls to his right knee giving praise to God for blessing him on this very day before hopping up onto the ring apron. Both feet wiping on the canvas to pay respect for the ring before he grasps the top rope with both hands. A quick look to the fans at ringside then the high flying sensation launches himself onto the top rope then springboards into the air; A front flip into the center where he lands on his feet immediately triggers fireworks to explode from each corner of the ring. The boy stood tall holds up his right fist in the air as the spotlight only shines upon him; Everything around him is completely dark once he knows he has all the chances to win. In a few moments, his music fades away and Noris remains in his corner waiting for the match to begin as everything returns as it should be.

Jessica: And his partner…

SO SEEK THE WOLF IN THYSELF!

Metallica’s “Of Wolf and Man” blares from the speakers.

Jessica: From wherever he may roam weighing in at 228 pounds, Dean Wolf!

Dean Wolf marches down the aisle like Steve Austin. When he enters the ring, he walks to every side of the ring, holding up his right arm, where he shows off the tattoo on the underside of his forearm which reads "Seek the wolf in thyself."

Remi: YEAH, BOI! That’s my dude, right there! The Wolfman doesn’t take crap from anybody -- not ZMAC, not the Hardcore Champ, and definitely not the boss -- which might not speak well for his career, but at least the dude’s got big, hairy --

Clearwater: REMI! We’re on the air.

Jessica: And their opponents… from our Neighbor to the North, the great country of Canada; YOUR APW Tag Team Champions, Mercer Quinn and “Ravenous” Rick Rage -- the CANADIAN COALITION!!!!

"Working Man" by RUSH plays and from behind the curtain steps Mercer Quinn, Ravenous Rick Rage, and Kyle Ryder, they stop at the top of the ramp and they place their hands over their hearts. All three men yell out, "O CANADA!!!", the fans share in their salute and the men make their way down the ramp slapping hands and giving welcoming smiles. All three enter from 3 different sides of the ring and as they enter the ring, Kyle stands in the middle with the other two standing on either side of him, much like the stage stance, each men places a hand over their hearts. "O, CANADA!!!" Kyle takes their tag belts and exits the ring and Mercer and Rick play paper, rock, scissors, to see who starts the match.

Clearwater: Rock, paper, scissors again, and it looks like Quinn will start this match off! That’s the second time we’ve seen that tonight, Remi.

Remi: That’s probably because our writers are lazy, Mikeybro.

Clearwater: What?

Remi: What?

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: Noris Cranley charging right in at Mercer Quinn and the two men lock up in a classic collar and elbow! Quinn and Cranley seem pretty evenly matched. What one gives up in height, the other gives up in weight and it looks like they’ve both realized it!

Quinn breaks the hold and twists Cranley’s arm around behind him. Cranley escapes and turns it around so Quinn is at his mercy. Just as Quinn is about to turn the tables, Cranley kicks him in the back of the knee and forces him to a kneeling position.
Remi: This kid’s got style, Mikey!

Noris stomps the other knee and leans Mercer Quinn back in an abdominal stretch. Then he shifts his grip and pulls Quinn’s arms back into a double chickenwing.

Clearwater: Cranley taking early advantage with these submission holds. This is classic mat wrestling at its finest on display tonight.

Quinn strains for the ropes but can’t seem to escape. He tries again, but Cranley has the hold locked in too tight. He tries a third time, and this time, the crowd starts getting behind him, stomping and chanting his name as his partner stands outside the ring, encouraging the fans.

Remi: He’s feeling it, Mikey-dude! Mercer Quinn finally powers out of Cranley’s grip, but only partway! He delivers a clubbing forearm and Noris is forced to let go!

Quinn explodes into action, nailing Cranley with another forearm before he dashes for the ropes, rebounds off, and drives a big boot into Noris Cranley’s midsection! Quinn flips over the back of Noris Cranley, wraps him up in a waistlock, and hauls him up for a suplex!

Clearwater: OH! Close call for Cranley as he barely escapes!

Cranley drops down behind Quinn and pulls him in for a belly-to-back suplex of his own! He pulls him back up, and does it a second time!

Remi: One! Two! Third time’s the charm! Cranley suplexes Quinn right into the corner where Dean Wolf is waiting! Tag is made!

Wolf vaults over the ropes, and together, he and Cranley deliver twin superkicks to the groggy Canadian. As Cranley exits the ring, Wolf climbs on the turnbuckle and delivers a storm of elbows.

Clearwater: These two have done their homework, and they know the best way to handle a tag team competitor is to isolate and destroy -- which is exactly what they’re doing now! Wolf and Noris have absolutely dominated this match so far, and Rick Rage is pacing the corner, waiting for his moment to get involved!

Quinn somehow finds the strength to push Wolf off the corner and escape, but Dean Wolf chases after him and pulls him back. On the outside, Rage has had enough and enters the ring, in spite of the official’s protests. He lets fly with his meaty fists and catches Wolf with a stiff right. With a snarl, Dean Wolf turns on Rick Rage as Mercer Quinn tries to stop his partner.

Remi: So much for playing peacemaker! Rage with an accidental elbow to Quinn and now here comes Noris Cranley! It’s an all out brawl in that ring right now!

The ref tries to intervene, but Rage is living up to his name as he absolutely cleans house! He tosses Cranley out of the ring! He tosses Mercer Quinn out of the ring! He tosses Dean Wolf over the ropes -- but Wolf holds on and lands on the apron as Rage turns on the official.

Clearwater: Rick Rage isn’t the legal man, but I don’t think he cares right now!

Remi: No he doesn’t, Mikey. What he should care about, though, is THAT!

Wolf launches himself over the ropes and nails Rage with a running boot that sends the big man sprawling.

Clearwater: Almost took the ref out, too!

Quinn, meanwhile, whips Cranley against the crowd barrier, then hastily climbs back into the ring. Mercer Quinn lunges for Dean Wolf, but Wolf evades and smashes a forearm into Quinn’s face. He follows up with a running knee.

Remi: EASY PREY! You know what comes next!

Just as Quinn rises, trying to shake off the effects of that big knee, Wolf closes in with his discus clothesline!

Clearwater: THE KILL! And the cover!

One!

Rage storms into the ring again.

Two!!

Cranley, still outside, grabs the big man’s ankle with both hands and yanks him back.

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica: And the winners of this match -- DEAN WOLF and NORIS CRANLEY!!!!

“Of Wolf and Man” thunders through the arena to a huge pop from the fans as Wolf and Cranley stand tall in the ring, arms raised high. Wolf points to Quinn and Rage, now taking their tag straps back from Kyle Ryder, and applauds them for their effort, encouraging the crowd to do the same. The fans pop and start a “THAT WAS AWESOME!” chant as the Canadian Coalition leaves the ringside area. As they step through the curtain, another figure emerges: Irina Ivanova, a smirk on her lips as she gives Wolf a slow clap.

Clearwater: Another appearance by APW General Manager and head booker, Irina Ivanova. What can this all be leading to?

Remi: We’ll have to wait to find out, bro. Maybe at Ascension! But for now, stay tuned after this word from our sponsors!

Hardcore Division Segment

Monday Night Metal opens on the ring. Already in the ring is Spartan wearing his ring gear with a black “Alpha Pro” t-shirt. He has the Alpha Pro Wrestling Hardcore Title Belts strapped around his waist and is comfortably sitting on a stool. Next to him sitting on an identical stool is Troy Butler. Troy is clad is clad in a splendid navy blue suit, with a navy blue tie set on the background of a white shirt. On the other side of Butler is an empty stool.

Butler: Welcome to Monday Night Metal. My name is Troy Butler and tonight, in this very ring is our Hardcore Champion, Spartan!

The crowd cheers.

Spartan: Thanks, Troy. Good to see you again.

Butler: I’m getting more work now that Dani Applegate has lost her mind.

Spartan suppresses a laugh.

Butler: You’ve got a tag match later on tonight, but I want to get to the hard questions. Like how are you prepared for your match with Dean Wolf for the Hardcore Title at Ascension.

Spartan: Well, Troy - the Hardcore wars that make up the Hardcore Division can never really be prepared for. It's the type of match where anything goes. I’m looking forward to going to war with Dean Wolf for a third time. This is the rubber match of sorts - Wolf got the first one. I took the second one and now in the war to settle the score there is no other man or women to get in the way of way I guarantee will be an epic battle next week.

Butler: I think everyone is looking forward to your match with Wolf just as I am sure every fan of Alpha Pro fan is as well. The question that must be answered though is - Why are you are avoiding Bodacious?

Spartan: I’m not avoiding anyone. Never have and I never will.

Butler: Then tell me, why are you not fighting Big Bad Bodacious at Ascension? He earned the right to be the top contender with his finish in the Alpha Showdown match.

Spartan: Look, I have to be honest - I didn’t catch the Showdown match live as I was recovering from my own match that night. But when I called for challenger and Dean Wolf answered as simple as that.

Butler: So what are you going to do about the Bodacious situation.

Spartan: Tell you what, Troy. I’m a warrior and I consider myself a man of honour. I will defend the Hardcore Title against Big Bad Bodacious at the Monday Night Metal immediately following Ascension. If he is up to it.

The crowd roars.

SO SEEK THE WOLF IN THYSELF!

Dean Wolf comes marching out to the ring to the sounds of “Of Wolf and Man.” He’s carrying a wooden stool of his own, which he proceeds to throw into the ring. Butler ducks his head even though the stool lands nowhere near him. Wolf rolls into the ring and demands a mic from Jessica Kaine. He places the stool next to Spartan but doesn’t immediately sit. The music stops as he looks at Spartan.

Wolf: I haven’t decided whether I want to use this stool for sitting or shoving it up your ass.

Spartan gets up from his seat and gets in Wolf’s face but Butler separates them.

Butler: Guys, guys! Not here. Let’s do this at Ascension!

Spartan retains his composure and sits on his stool. Dean Wolf takes a seat as well and points at Spartan.

Wolf: Even if Bodacious wasn’t the number one contender, you know that no matter what, you had to put that title on the line against me.

Spartan is taken aback.

Wolf: Don’t sit there and look confused. We’ve already gone through this. Without me letting ZMAC fuck with my head, I’m standing here right now as the Hardcore Champion. Forget that bullshit you said two weeks ago when you told me you didn’t have to accept my challenge. Of course you did, because every time you see that Hardcore Title, a little voice in your head asks “Am I truly better than Wolf? Can I beat him when there isn’t a third party involved? Can I beat him without an assist?” And the only way for you to answer that is by stepping into the ring with me one week from today and putting that title on the line.

He takes a pause.

Wolf: But you know what? It’s fine. You can put up whatever facade you want. You can make up any narrative you want. Just understand that after Ascension, the narrative is going to read this: Dean Wolf cut down the mighty Spartan and pinned his shoulders to the ground to once again become the APW Hardcore Champion, leaving the former champ in a pool of his own blood.

Spartan stands from his stool and steps to Wolf.

Spartan: Dean. I didn’t have to fight you, no matter what you think. No, I didn’t. Thing is, though, I’m a fighter - said it from the beginning. So, when you walked down there on Metal saying you wanted a rematch. I was always going to give you a rematch. Now, you want to walk out that a man possessed wanting the hardcore title back. That’s cool. But, don’t start spouting McMorris lines when that isn’t you.

The crowd stirs at that last line. Wolf bites his bottom lip, trying to hold in his anger at being compared to ZMAC.

Spartan: Just man up, accept you lost - and we’ll see who the better man is come Ascension.

Spartan leans in real close to Dean Wolf’s face.

Spartan: No excuses.

Dean Wolf stares at Spartan for a few seconds, nodding his head, before bringing the mic up slowly to his lips.

Wolf: No excuses, huh? Then I guess you won’t be able to excuse this.

He slaps Spartan hard across the face.

Crowd: Oooo!

Both men drop their mics and get in each other’s faces. Spartan rips off his shirt while Wolf throws off his vest. Butler hightails it out of the ring, realizing it’s futile to try to stop these two men. The wrestlers are about to come to blows when suddenly, the voice of the commissioner is heard over the PA.

Irina: That will be quite enough from both of you!

All eyes turn to the stage as the APW General Manager steps out from behind the curtain, all business, in a tailored charcoal-gray suit over a wine-red top. Behind her, Big Bad Bodacious emerges, followed by a number of men in identical tracksuits, who surge forward to surround the ring. With the Bodacious One at her side, Irina struts down the ramp and gets into the ring, her gaze sweeping over each man before settling on Dean Wolf.

Irina: You, Wolfie -- you don’t make matches. And neither do you, Spartan. That belt doesn’t give you the right to call out anybody you feel like. There’s already a number one contender to the Hardcore Title, a man who EARNED his spot. HOWEVER --

She glances at Bodacious, who smirks and gives her a thumbs-up.

Irina: I have spoken with Comrade Bodacious, and he has graciously agreed to postpone his rightful shot at the Hardcore Championship until the next pay-per-view. If the inmates want to run the asylum, then so be it. Next week, in Chicago, Illinois, Comrade Wolf and Comrade Spartan will face off in a no-disqualification, no holds barred, Hardcore Championship match!
The crowd loses its collective mind at the announcement, cheering for the bloodsport, as Irina hands off the mic to Bodacious. Bodacious takes the mic and scowls, looking directly into Wolfs eyes.

Bodacious: Fuckin Wolf. Fuckin couldn’t wait your turn to take on a Sacred Mighty? Maybe, just fuckin maybe even become one yourself? Fuck yeah dog, take this title shot, I couldn’t give less of a fuck. Next time though, fuckin next time you come to Bodacious about it. Next time Bodacious gonna make you pay full price for it. Next time, Bodacious gets HIS.

Bodacious turns his attention to Spartan who has been cautiously standing in ring keeping his eyes on the men in tracksuits. His attention snaps to Bodacious as Bodacious spews insults his way.

Bodacious: But it’s you, Spartan, you are the disgraced one here! You fat fucking cunt, you disrespect the ring, you disrepect the Bull, but worst of all you dissrespect the shiny golden light that you barely fit around your giggly waist! You disrespect the light of the Golden God Bull himself by refusing our match! I thought you one of the sacred mighty! One of the worthy of the gold they wear, but your just a faker, a liar, a big fat phony baloney aping what it means to be one of the strong! Fine then you too can pay the price!

Bodacious turns with Irina and leaves the ring while the army of wops close the gap they left, the crowd cheering with anticipation for what happens next. Spartan and Wolf turn their backs to each other, waiting for one of the tracksuited men to strike, the crowd a distant whisper in their ears as they tense up. The tracksuits just stood there, a collection of shit eating grins and neon color, savoring the moment right before the kill.

All the men charged Spartan and Wolf at once, looking to put the two titans down as quick as they could. Wolf snap kicks one in the face, flooring him, before three more fill his spot. Spartan smashes one in the throat with a mighty fist and backhands another to the floor. Wolf lands a low blow and an elbow smash on the same wop as spartan picks one up and hurls him over the rest of the group and out of the ring. The duo turn around and hesitate their punches mistakenly aimed at each other. It was at that exact moment, when the two fighters stop for just a single moment, that each of them were dropped to the floor. Both were brought down by the dog pile of sweaty italians in neon and both were being stomped out.
Bodacious and Irina walk back up the ramp to sounds of a roaring crowd and two rivals paying what they owe.

Main Event

Smith Jones vs Defenestration Jones (Special Guest Ref: Masuda Jubei)

Mike Clearwater: Tonight has built to this moment. Where we will see the Number One Contender face off against in in his greatest challenge yet.

St. Remi: But more importantly, here comes the law for tonight’s match.

“Namahage” by Ningen Isu plays down Masuda Jubei some of his Ikeda Clan muscle. His entrance has little of its usual fanfare, including an absence of the world title he usually brings everywhere.

St. Remi: He promised to be a good “sheriff” in tonight’s matchup, but I don’t trust him.

Mike Clearwater: No one does. And by the boos surrounding us, I can say most of these fans agree with you.

St. Remi:&nbsp;Yeah, and maybe, he'll stick to his word.

he house lights briefly flicker as the vocal intro to Ciara's version of "Paint It, Black" begins. Multicolored lasers play across the darkened stage when the music kicks in.

I see a red door, and....

A figure appears on the stage, silhouetted against the Alphatron as it comes to life with the image of a thick pane of glass.

....I want it painted black.

On screen, the glass is struck by some unseen force as the drumbeat joins in, shattering in slow motion. The stage lights brighten progressively as the 'Tron shuts off again, until Defenestration Jones is fully illuminated, the light reflecting off her gold-and-black singlet. Her lip curls in a sneer of disdain for the fans as she slowly raises a fist into the air.

Jessica Kaine: This match is scheduled for one fall… on her way to the ring from Chicago, IL… weighing in at 132 pounds… “Defenestration” Jones!

Boos rain down from the crowd, fueling her as she stalks down the aisle with an arrogant swagger. She climbs the steps, crosses the ring, and perches on the turnbuckles. Jones lifts her chin proudly, and winglike spreads her arms to receive the crowd's malediction, a cocky smirk on her lips.

Mike Clearwater: Locking eyes with the guest referee. Do I smell conspiracy?

St. Remi: Of course you do. Well can all it smell it a mile away.

Mike Clearwater: I’m kidding.

St. Remi: Well I’m not, bro. Smitty is walking into a trap – plain and simple!

Mike Clearwater: Defenestration has seen her share of ups and downs since the doors opened. But tonight is the biggest shot in her Alpha career.

St. Remi: Do you even hear yourself, Mikey? Something is going down – I can feel it.
The opening riff from ‘Waiting For The End’ by Linkin Park plays, followed by that repeated double piano hit as all of the lights in the arena blast to full white. Smith Jones comes out onto the stage dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. All of the spotlights point at Smith as the rest of the arena now rests in darkness. Jones stops at the top of the ramp and looks out across the crowd as many of them chant "Smitty! Smitty! Smitty!"

Jessica Kaine: And her opponent from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds... there is only one... SMITH JONES!!!

Smith strides confidently down to ringside. He mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the ring apron before parting the ropes and taking centre. Jones turns his back to camera to show off the sparkly silver "1'm" embroidered across his shoulders. He raises his right fist in the air and looks up at it. Smith opens his hand and spreads his fingers out wide as he lets go of everything outside the ring and focuses on the fight in front of him. Jones removes his robe and hands it to ringside before stretching up for the match.

Mike Clearwater: If anyone sees lightning, it’s from these two stares. You might sense it, Remi, but don’t you think Smitty knows it too?

St. Remi: Yes.

Mike Clearwater: And now Jubei is conductions a pre-match shakedown.

St. Remi: Really bro? I bet he planted something on Defenestration. Mark my word!

Mike Clearwater: Masuda brings them together… and there’s our opening bell!

DING DING DING!

Smitty counters out of the gate with a pair of quick hip tosses to a charging Jones. They lock up tight, but Smith Jones has too much power and deadweight behind him, wrenching her only inches off the ground. Fans applaud their flexibility until Defenestration turns that display into a monkey flip. Jones recovers almost immediately and answers with a spinning belly-to-belly suplex.

One!

Two!!

Mike Clearwater: Fair count from Masuda.

St. Remi: Just wait. He’ll show his true colors soon enough.

Mike Clearwater: Smith Jones following up with another suplex clutch.

St. Remi: Leg sweep! Defenestration gets free… Yakuza Kick right to the jaw!

Mike Clearwater: He ate every groove of her sole on that kick!

Smitty reels for the opposite ropes when Jones leapfrogs him and returns with spinning wheel kick. Refusing to go down, Smith Jones rallies to a backside clutch. She fights but he powers her into a beautiful german suplex with a textbook bridging pin.

One!

Two!!

Mike Clearwater: And she breaks free again. Anything fishy yet?

St. Remi: Come on. You know what Masuda is capable of, bro.

Mike Clearwater: That may be, but so far, he’s been right on top of things. He even left his goons at the ramp to keep anyone from interfering. How’s that for a saboteur?

St. Remi: Jones slowing it down with a grounded full nelson. Look at his technique, bro.

Mike Clearwater: He might be the purest technician I’ve seen come through our doors.

Jubei leans in close with being a consummate professional as he does. Defenestration Jones wants the ropes but cannot reach them. She starts kicking her legs to one side, but seeing this attempt to worm out of his hold, Smitty flips her onto her stomach for modified dragon sleeper. Fans applaud his flawless skills as Jones appears trapped. Just then, a stray finger gouges Smith Jones—enough to get her free from his suffocating pythons.

St. Remi: Oh come on! Everyone saw that!

Mike Clearwater: Wait Remi… look!

St. Remi: Is Jubei confronting Defenestration Jones?

Fans boo as a number of pinpointed kicks chop Smitty down like a great Canadian maple. Her work continues with an elevated single-leg crab. Jones grips at the canvas but refusing to surrender, especially not with Masuda Jubei in his face. Fans get behind him, pounding and stomping to recharge the man they want as champion.

Mike Clearwater: Look! Smitty is pushing himself off the floor.

St. Remi: Here we go, Mikey!

Mike Clearwater: Smith Jones gets free to the side, but she still has his leg held tight.

St. Remi: He staggers on a pogo stick… head scissors! Did you see that manipulation?

Mike Clearwater: We all did, brother, but he’s hurt. Look at that knee.

Smitty hobbles to one side, but follows up that reversal with a stifling knee to keep her down. Then an impressive wheelbarrow suplex laying both fighters out flat.

Mike Clearwater: Huge risk, but Smith Jones might have just reasserted control of this bout!

St. Remi: Maybe, but he’s out too. That one was for these fans, bro. Just an all-around bad idea.

Mike Clearwater: I doubt these people care… listen them. I haven’t heard such a fiery group before!

Both Joneses get up slow, with Defenestration seeing daylight first. She gets support from the middle rope. Masuda overworks himself paying constant wellness checks on both competitors. It all culminates in a thunderous meeting of forces with Jubei getting the best seat in the house.

St. Remi: Forget the moves! This is a prizefight!

Mike Clearwater: Blows from both… it’s a slobber knocker!

St. Remi: Jones with a right. Jones with back kick.

Mike Clearwater: No one’s keeping up with the Jones’ tonight! Whoa!

St. Remi: She just slid through Smitty’s legs! Backstabber!

Mike Clearwater: How did she do that!

Mike Clearwater: So close yet not enough to keep Smitty down!

St. Remi: And another fair count. You don’t think he’s…

Mike Clearwater: Jones off the ropes—handspring elbow cutting him back to the floor!

St. Remi: They might have a favorite tonight, but these people loved that desperate move.

Jones bends breathing at the waist. She looks over to Masuda who’s still checking on her opponent. A stray kicks aims at both men, yet both targets swerve away in time.

Mike Clearwater: Big mistake! The Master has given her a final warning.

St. Remi: What?

Mike Clearwater: Jones is livid! She doesn’t even notice Smitty coming from behind!

St. Remi: Sleep Paralysis! She never saw it coming!

Mike Clearwater: Full Nelson suplex right into the turnbuckle!

St. Remi: Did Masuda just… help Smitty?

Mike Clearwater: I don’t think he can believe it either.

Smith Jones keeps an eye on the biggest target, but has no choice but follow up that desperation maneuver with the finish. Fans can feel it coming as they burst into elation. He drags the somewhat motionless body of Defenestration Jones into the ring’s center and crossface chickenwing and asphyxiating body scissors.

Mike Clearwater: The System! Defenestration Jones is done for!

St. Remi: Masuda leaning in… she’s tapping!

DING DING DING!

Mike Clearwater: Smitty did it!

Jessica Kaine: And you winner… the one and only… Smith Jones!

Mike Clearwater: Jubei attending to her as ringside medics rush to Jones’s aid. But what a win for the Number One Conteder.

St. Remi: And call me crazy, but why did Masuda help him win?

Mike Clearwater: Do you want in that guy’s head?

Smitty walks up the ramp with the entire arena in his pocket. He can do no wrong as a smiling Jubei watches him leave. That collective of the Masuda Corporation’s goons greet him with crossed arms. Cheers become deafening when all of those dozen and more bodyguards pull red demon masks from inside their jackets and adorn them. They applaud in position as Smith Jones stops to assess the situation.

St. Remi: They’re no attacking? What the hell is going on?

Mike Clearwater: I don’t know. But I doubt this is the last thing Smitty wants to think about. We’re only a couple weekends from their showdown… and these people know it. We’ll see you next week. Same time, same metal hour on all your streaming platforms. Good night.

Cut to a copyright wipe of Smitty between the ring and entranceway, where The Master leans over the ropes laughing. Fade to black and an Alpha Pro-Wrestling.
