After spending a night in the slammer Johnny was released and no charges were filed. He just would not be welcomed back at that establishment again. Oh well, fuck the MGM Grand. There were better places to explore in Vegas. He would stay elsewhere the next time he went back. Now it was off to Fort Worth, Texas and the convention center. He had a one on one match against Lucy Sixx for the APA Junior Heavyweight Championship. He thought back to a few weeks ago when Lucy and Sandy Coconutz defeated Brian 'buzz' Worthy and himself in a tag team match. They should have won but Johnnys heart just wasn't in it at the time.

Thunder was another friend from the academy. Only he graduated and was on the force now. They have known each other for quite a few years. Thunders dad was Night Riders brother. Diablo.

They both laughed as Thunder's phone began going off. He excused himself to answer it and returned with a grim look on his face.

The jeep was a 2016 Grand Cherokee that ran like a dream but didn't have all the extras his newer one had. Johnny rolled the windows up, cranked up the air conditioner and threw in a cd. He pulled out and headed for town. He wondered if they had an MGM Grand here while laughing to himself. He could have stayed at Thunders but wanted to be closer to town. He had to be where the action was.

Then you can lose and still win in the same night."
