Biography:
Brought up in a rough low-income neighborhood to a single parent household hasn’t stopped this Brooklyn Babe from acquiring the things most pleasing to her sights. An elite athlete throughout her grade school career, but it was in track and field where she really shined. Alas, Charmaine had to learn the tough lesson, we all learn eventually, you can run as far as your legs can carry you but trouble always has this way of catching up. Losing her older brother to the streets changed her...for better or worse, that has yet to be determined; in his honor, she has chosen to take up his mantle as well as the immensely difficult task in dominating the industry of Professional Wrestling. So far she has established a modest name for herself in the APW, catering to a growing number of followers each week on her social media pages when she isn’t wow’ing them in the ring.

Gimmick:
Although her ring name is a clever play of words, a parody derived from an outspoken (for many reasons he is despised) radio/television personality, I can assure you that Charmaine DaGawd is anything BUT a joke. She comes to the APW with a background in track & field and a feisty persona that was groomed on the harsh streets of Brooklyn, New York -- to which she lost her older brother, Rasheed. He too dreamed of a life outside of the hood, even more heinous as pointed out by his peers, as a Professional Wrestler. Shortly following his premature death, Charmaine would dedicate her life to accomplishing what he set out to do, save his entire family from being swallowed whole by the tragic life of the ghetto (i.e. police brutality, drugs, gang violence, etc.) This street savvy grapplette is as determined as she is skilled. Though she’s often critiqued and misunderstood as an arrogant loudmouth with her excessive bragging, the fans seem to respond in a positive manner to her tell-it-like-it-is personality.
