(The scene opens up and it’s night-time around 8pm. The bright lights of Vegas are all on show. From the entire hotel to the casinos there are flashing lights to lure people in. As we seem to be in a taxi, as we view inside the taxi we see that it is Alex Scott in the backseat.)
“Sir where would you like to be dropped off? Driver says
“Caesar's Palace, my friend.” Alex replies
“OK no problem.” Driver says
(Ten minutes of driving and the Taxi driver starts to slowly slowdown and stop right outside of Caesar’s palace.)
“Here we are sir, that’ll be $45 bucks. “ The driver says
(Alex steps out of the taxi with his bags and grabs some money out of his back pocket, he flicks through the roll of cash that he has on him. He counts out two $20 bucks and a $10 note.)
“Here you go pal, thanks.” Alex hands over the money and gives him it.)
(Alex turns as the taxi driver pull away and drives off. As we see it is a busy street. People going about there business and enjoying their time in Las Vegas. Alex walks into the main lobby. And heads to the reception desk.)
(Alex is welcomed by a beautiful blonde women)
“Hi there, my name is Melanie and how may I help you.” The receptionists asks
“Yeah I booked a room, under Alex Scott.” Alex says
“Let me just check on the system for you” Melanie replies
(Melanie the receptionist starts typing on her system.)
“Oh yes, here we are. I see you have booked a deluxe room and that will be $175 bucks.” Melanie says as she hands over the card key to the room.
(Alex once again pulls out the roll of cash that he has in his pocket and flicks through the money counting the exact cash that Melanie has asked for. A few seconds later and Alex hands over the cash)
“Here you go” Alex says
“Thank you sir, and if me or the reception can do anything for you, please just ask.” Melanie says
“Thanks” Alex replies
(Alex heads over to the elevator and gets in, carrying his bags, Alex steps in the elevator as the scene fades to black)
(The scene reopens and we are inside the room of Alex Scott, we see that Alex has a king-size bed in the center of the room, and a round coffee table surrounded by chairs, the window overlooking the city of Las Vegas. The bright lights are something to be wowed alone. A few seconds later, Alex Scott walks out of the bathroom, smartly dressed as he is wearing some black jeans and a white buttoned shirt with his black shoes. Alex heads over to the window and stares out of it.)
“So here we are in the city of sin, Las Vegas. Where people come all over the world to enjoy themselves in gambling, good food, good beer, and maybe the hopes of winning big. That is exactly what I have come here for. Hoping to win big. This is my first big pay-per-view match of my career so far and I have an opportunity of a lifetime. I am in a battle royal with ten other competitors in it. Some I met on my debut last week. And some I haven’t met yet. But I will. And they will meet me too. The difference is when they meet me, there meeting a future champion. When I meet them, there just average their entire life’s. When I say I’m going to be a future champion, I mean every word.”
(Alex leaning on the glass of the window with one arm up, smiles with confidence)
“I just didn’t know it would come this early in my career. This weekend Alpha Pro Wrestling Presents Alpha Showdown and at this showdown at the end of the night, you’ll be looking at the number one contender for the world heavyweight championship. Like I said, I am a future champion.”
(Alex pauses)
“But I know there are hurdles in front of me before I get the gold in my hands. I know I have to fight and scratch and claw my way through the amount of bodies in this battle royal. And I will. Because have more passion and desire than the rest of them. And quite frankly I only see two possible threats in this match.”
(Alex takes a breath)
“Let’s go through my opponents shall we, first we have my tag team partner from last week on Monday night Metal and that is Johnny Blaze. And Johnny I know that I was pinned last week on my debut and all. But I blame you. I blame you for that lost on my record because I was carrying you through that match. But in this match it is all about survival and I know you don’t have what it takes to survive on your own. And I do hope that Marvel studios sue your ass for copyright infringement.”
(Alex laughs jokingly about Marvel studios)
“Next we have is Bryan Worthy and last week I give you props. You and Smithy Jones got the victory last week, but that was then and this is now. I got to think how well you and smithy Jones are going to be in this match? Are you gonna be joining together to get rid of the rest of us. Or against each other from the start. Whichever it is Bryan, this time it’s gonna be different. I won’t be the one pinned or I won’t be the one thrown over the top rope. I will be the last man standing when the dust settles. And you’ll see that last week’s victory over me and Johnny Blaze was just a fluke win.”
(Alex pauses)
“Next we have is Smithy Jones, the man who actually did pin me last week. Congratulations I guess, but that will be the only time you’ll ever pin me. If we meet in the ring one on one, I’ll guarantee you the outcome will be different. The outcome will be the same as this Sunday at Alpha Showdown, me standing over you with my arm raised as winner. That is gonna be true.”
(Alex smiles)
“And to the rest of my opponents, you might as well not show up because you won’t last and you won’t survive. Now were in Las Vegas and I’m gonna go out and enjoy my night.”
(Alex walks towards the door and exits the room as the scene fades to black)
