Mike Clearwater: Hosers and Canucks alike, welcome to Monday Night Metal! We've got one hell of a show for you tonight, starting off with a bang! We have a six-man tag team match featuring APW's hottest new talents.

St. Remi: First of all... Never say "hosers" or "canucks" ever, ever again. Do you understand me? That was simply embarassing. I hope you know that.

An awkward silence fills the air, as the two men glance at each other.

St. Remi: Um... After that match, we have a one on one match between Tsukiko and Cheri Lovett, followed by a tag team match previewing the very same for Alpha Showdown.

Mike Clearwater: That's right! We'll see how those Canadians fare against the up-and-coming team of Ice and Drake! And on top of that, we have yet ANOTHER tag team match, a triangle tag match featuring Sandy Coconutz teaming with Junior Heavyweight contender Lucy Sixx. They square off- Triangle off?- against the teams of Johnny Blaze and Alex Scott as well as the debuting Bryan Worthy and Smith Jones.

St. Remi: And folks, as if that wasn't enough tag team action, we round out the night with the two on two match of Dean Wolf teaming with Steven Osbourne to face off against Braxton Locus and Trent page. But before this, we'll see the officially sanctioned APW Debut of the Aerial Xtremist Jaice Wilds, who faces off against Spartan and the Road Dawg.

Mike Clearwater: All of this only builds anticipation as we head into APW's first Pay Per View event, Alpha Showdown.

St. Remi: Yes, head booker Irina Ivanova made the announcement earlier this week, laying out every single match we get to see. Every championship on the line, as Dean Wolf defends his hardcore championship against Zombie McMorris and Spartan.

Mike Clearwater: Then later on, we come to the much-anticipated Alpha Showdown match. The winner will walk away the Number 1 Contender for the APW World Heavyweight Championship, where they will face off with either Braxton Locus come August.

St. Remi: Long story short, folks, sit back and buckle up, because APW is the spot to be for the next two weeks! And now, let's get to our first match!

Serenity Sherman/Nick Cannon/Buck Steele vs Leon Dread/Michael J Brilliance/Philip Belucci

Mike Clearwater: A huge match kicking off the action tonight here in Calgary, with all six competitors already in the ring -- and you can bet they're ready to fight!

St. Remi: Dude, yes! These are some of the most intense young wrestlers on our roster right now! Two weeks ago, Nick Cannon and Phil Belucci went at it so hard, they knocked each other unconscious!

Mike Clearwater: And just last week, Leon Dread proved he's not a man to be trifled with in that history-making hardcore match in Atlantic City!

St. Remi: That's totally an understatement, bro -- but I agree! He's one scary monster of a man, but he's got Serenity Sherman and Buck Steele to deal with, and they're sure to be looking to make an impression tonight!

Mike Clearwater: That's right, Remi! This match could very well have implications toward that huge Showdown match next week!

St. Remi: Of course, nobody should overlook the decided underdog in this match, Michael J Brilliance! There's just something about the dude that speaks to me, bro, like right in my soul!

*DING! DING!*

Mike Clearwater: That's the bell, and it looks like Brilliance starting things off for his side, but there's some disagreement from the other team!

St. Remi: WHOA! Not anymore, bro! Serenity just clotheslined Cannon down to the floor! Steele isn't about to push his luck with this fiery young lady!

Mike Clearwater: Wise choice on his part! Sherman wastes no time charging in at a preening Brilliance!

St. Remi: Aww, dude, he's just trying to get friendly with this real fly honey!

Brilliance offers a handshake, and Serenity responds with an arm wrench, followed by a stiff Yakuza kick!

Mike Clearwater: Brilliant strategy here, opening the match with a heavy offense.

St. Remi: Was that a pun, bro? My boy over here getting his heart broke and you're making puns?

Two left jabs and a right hook leave Remi's boy shook as he staggers away, trying to shake off the onslaught. An impatient Leon Dread takes advantage of the momentary distraction.

Mike Clearwater: Dread tags himself in! He grabs Serenity by the hair and marches her to a neutral corner! Brilliance recovers enough to catch on to what's going down and he doesn't like it!

St. Remi: Who would? Dread trying to mack on Mikey B's girl!

Mike Clearwater: Not quite, Remi, as these two seem to have reached some kind of detente! Dread lifting Serenity onto his shoulders as Brilliance hits the ropes --

St. Remi: And here comes Buck Steele to the rescue! Dread loses his grip on Sherman and she escapes, laying into Brilliance with those quick fists again! Dread and Steele lock up!

Brilliance ducks a swing by Sherman, then takes one of his own, missing by a mile and accidentally bumping his own partner. Leon Dread turns on Michael with a snarl -- only to get jumped by Steele and Sherman! Unwilling to leave his chances at victory in the hands of his partners, Philip Belucci vaults over the ropes and wades in! Not to be outdone, Nick Cannon inserts himself and a brawl breaks out, while Michael Brilliance slips under the bottom rope.

Mike Clearwater: It's pandemonium! Not five minutes into the show and Monday Night Metal has descended into chaos!

St. Remi: Nor for long, my dude! The official is not having it, not here, not tonight! Whatever he threatened them with, it seems to have worked -- everyone's leaving the ring except Dread and Sherman!

Mike Clearwater: Sherman looking to get a little payback for that attempted double team maneuver as she goes right after Hell's Soldier with a forearm shiver! He just absorbs the impact, but Serenity isn't done yet! Another forearm, but Dread just laughs it off!

St. Remi: Sherman to the ropes, springboard -- Dread isn't laughing now, bro! That bulldog was sick! Serenity with an early pin!

Mike Clearwater: Broken up by a sloppy diving elbow from Brilliance!

St. Remi: Where did he come from?

Sherman rolls to her feet and is immediately blind tagged by Nick Cannon. Cannon struts cockily into the ring -- Brilliance and Dread exchange a glance, nod to each other -- and go on the attack!

Mike Clearwater: Brilliance with what looks like a drop toe hold; Dread following up with a pendulum backbreaker and Cannon might be dead!

St. Remi: Cover by Dread!

ONE . . .

TWO . . .

Mike Clearwater: Kick out! Somehow, Nick Cannon had just enough wherewithal to kick out of that! The ref warning Brilliance, who leaves the ring and goes back to his corner.

St. Remi: Belucci meanwhile is begging for a tag. Looks like he wants to finish what started between him and Cannon two weeks back! Dread shrugs and slaps his hand, and here comes The American Unnatural!

Belucci doesn't waste time on finesse, simply laying boots to Cannon, who tries to cover up under the unrelenting assault. Cannon finally rolls his way under the ropes, but his rival just follows after, pulling him to his feet and whipping Cannon against the crowd barrier! Without letting up, Belucci grabs Cannon and runs him into the ringpost, then lifts him up and powerbombs him onto the steel steps!

Mike Clearwater: I can't believe what we're seeing here, Remi! Nick Cannon is busted open and Philip Belucci is showing absolutely no mercy! He's disrupting this match for the sake of revenge!

St. Remi: Sometimes it just be like that, dude. This ain't Dr. Phil -- this is Monday Night Metal and this shit is brutal!

At the official's signal, a security team intercepts the brawling pair and escorts them backstage.

Mike Clearwater: With these two competitors gone each team is short one partner! Brilliance takes Belucci's place as the legal man, and Buck Steele steps up for his team!

St. Remi: Buck starting strong with a short arm clothesline -- ducked by my dude J! Brilliance now charging in, he's airborne! Cluster Arrow! And his aim is true! Steele hits the canvas like a sack of bricks!

Mike Clearwater: And Brilliance isn't done yet! The Boston Brawler trying to peel himself off the mat --

St. Remi: BOOM, BABY!

Mike Clearwater: Brogue kick! Brilliance rests his boot on Steele's chest!

Sherman rushes in to break up the pin, but is tossed aside by Leon Dread.

THREE ! ! !

"Nobody Like Me" by Deuce hits the speakers to a big pop from the crowd, while Brilliance poses over his fallen opponent.

Jessica Kaine: And the winners of this six-man tag team match -- Leon Dread Michael J Brilliance!!!!

Brilliance continues to celebrate his win, strutting around the ring and posing for the fans, with Leon Dread looming nearby; while Serenity Sherman walks backstage in disgust.

St. Remi: That's one hell of a debut for my bro J and a big feather in Dread's cap as they claim victory in our opening bout! Stay tuned, fans -- it just gets better from here!

Road Dawg Segment

<the road dawg is summoned to the offices of the owner of the federation and he's waiting to be called in for a progress report on whats jokingly being called "project X1/2"

When he's called in he sits on a small couch and gets a nice sized glass of jack and coke poured for him " and waits for about 5 minutes for the fed owner the head of talent and the booker cone in the room and he waits for everyone to get settled in and gives a report >

the owner asks if and when it will be completed

"well after all that paperwork and negotiations we've gotten official clearance and according to the personal discussions I've heard it will happen soon.... but I can't say exactly whenever it decided to happen .... could be next week or next mont h or maybe never the thinking process on it is rather volatile .... all we can do is be prepared and wait for it to happen

The owner and head of talent give assurances everything's ready for it to happen all precautions and rules are being followed >

Well, we know what we're in for once it does ... I just hope the fed and lives dont get destroyed in the process cause we bit more off than even god and mankind can chew .....

<everyone stands up as dawg finishes the drink setting it down on the tray and hes thanked and hands are shaken and he leaves the room >

Tsukiko vs Cheri Lovett

Mike Clearwater: We're off to a wild start on this edition of Monday Night Metal and the action just keeps heating up!

St. Remi: Damn right, bro, and speaking of heat, we got two smoking hotties 'bout to meet head to head in this ring!

The lights in the arena dim down as all attention became focused on the entrance; there the titantron lit up with an image of a moon brilliantly shining bright as the slow melodic beginning of Alddious' "We Are" began to play throughout the building. That would carry on till the song picked up at the 27-second mark. When it did the moon on the titantron shattered into hundreds of pieces before shifting to a flurry of clips of a woman hitting various high-risk moves and bone shattering filled the screen one after another. That would carry on until the heavenly vocals began to echo throughout the arena, and when they did the camera (and the attention of the crowd) shifted to a woman wearing a fox mask standing center stage. All the while white and silver tinted light flashed seamlessly and endlessly.

I suffered one day.
I cried one night
Crouching alone looking
like a pupa glowing

Hoping one day to
find something true
I keep on flying high
I won't let you regret
As the vocals continued, the masked woman would hop in place and shake out her hands. That is, until the first of three "We Are"s of the song hit. When they did, the woman stopped hopping and quickly grabbed onto the mask she wore in dramatic fashion. When the second "We Are" hi, the woman titled her mask covered face down. Finally, after the third "We Are", the woman abruptly tilted her head back up and slid the mask off of her face to reveal herself as The Shimmering Kitsune {Kirameku Kitsune} Tsukiko! With her identity now revealed, the crowd loudly began to cheer their support for the young Japanese woman! However, despite the ruckus, a nearby camera managed to pick Tsukiko's voice as she shouted out in excitement over the overwhelming support.

Tsukiko:
"Takakautame ni jikan!"
{Time to Fight!}

Jessica Kaine:
"From Kyoto, Japan. The Shimmering Kitsune, Tsuuuuuuuuukiiiiiiiiiikoooooooo!"

With the ring announcer making her official introduction, Tsukiko placed the fox mask back on her head (only it was angled off to the side) and began the walk down to the ring. Along the way, she went about interacting with various members of the crowd. The gentle slapping of hands in the universal high-five. he occasional fist bump. A hug or two. All of these happened along the way as she zig-zagged from one side of the ramp to the other until she reached the ringside area. It was there that she began walking to the steps nearest to her, but came to a stop before she ascended. After taking a moment to look out at the sold-out crowd, Tsukiko slid the fox mask off of her head and turned to those that were in the front row that was closest to her position. It was then that she stepped over to the barricade and handed off her mask to a young fan before darting up the steps and between the ropes into the ring.

Mike Clearwater: Tsukiko has the distinction of being the very first talent contracted to Alpha Pro Wrestling!

St. Remi: Plus she's a stone fox, yo!

"Rockstar” rockets from the PA System, the lights dim and a spotlight carries up along the ramp to the stage entrance where Chéri Lovett appears from out behind the curtain; paying no mind to the hissing audience with spotted whistles, she saunters to the ring at her own pace, Neil Rocco joining her.

Jessica Kaine: And her opponent… from Montreal, Quebec, Canada; she is the Forbidden Fruit; the Temptation on Two Legs… Cheri Lovett!!!

Crossing the pads of ringside, she ascends up the steel steps, and trapezes along the apron before impeding the ring. The middle rope barely exfoliates her deeply arched back. She regathers herself in the ring’s core, soaring a simple finger gesturing motion with a self-assuring grin to one side of the arena, to the dismay of the crowd. As her music commences a fade, she removes her hat, placing it in the official’s hand, and coat, which she tosses freely onto their head, before retreating to her preferred corner performing any last second pre-game stretches before the match is kicked off.

Mike Clearwater: What, no obvious sexist comment for Cheri Lovett? You're losing a step Remi.

St. Remi: I, um. Just.. sorry, I was just picturing a Remi sandwich with these two fine ladies as the bread…

Mike Clearwater: Charming.

*DING! DING!*

St. Remi: Lovett on the offense right out the gate, locking up with Tsuki-chan and driving the Kitsune to her knees.

Mike Clearwater: Don't count Tsukiko out yet, Remi! With the fans solidly behind her, the Shimmering Fox fights her way back up and breaks the hold! Palm strike!

St. Remi: Oh! My sweet Cheri looking a little sour as she answers with a hard slap!

Tsukiko backs off, holding her reddened cheek in surprise. Her shocked expression hardens into determination and she comes right back at Lovett with a spinning backlist!

Mike Clearwater: Tsukiko out to prove something tonight as she follows that backlist with a spinning elbow that leaves the Temptation dazed!

Tsuki shouts something in Japanese at the audience, who reward her with an encouraging pop. She takes aim…

St. Remi: Superkick! Lovett stumbles against the ropes!

Tsukiko prances around the ring and poses for the cheering crowd.

Mike Clearwater: Now's not the time for showing off! Keep your eye on your opponent, Tsuki!

St. Remi: Too late! Here comes Lovett! Springboard moonsault! The Cheri on top as she goes for an early pin!

ONE . . .

Mike Clearwater: But Tsukiko gets a shoulder up and shoves Lovett off her! Cheri is about to find herself outfoxed!

St. Remi: She totally is, bro! Japanese arm drag from Tsukiko, and she's not letting up this time!

Mike Clearwater: But Cheri regains the upper hand with an eye rake! She grabs the wrist of Tsukiko -- Irish whip into the corner!

St. Remi: She may have our little fox trapped!

Mike Clearwater: That's what Cheri thinks too! She charges in, looking to put an end to this match -- and eats a pendulum kick! Lovett staggers away!

St. Remi: Tsukiko to the apron now. What's she got in mind?

Mike Clearwater: She's going airborne! 720 DDT from Tsukiko!

St. Remi: The Winds of Change! And they're blowing solid behind Tsuki-chan now!

Mike Clearwater: That they are, Remi! As Lovett climbs back to a vertical base, Tsukiko comes in with a running knee lift! Moonbreaker!

St. Remi: Here's the cover, Tsukiko taking no chances as she hooks the leg!

Jessica Kaine: And your winner… the Shimmering Kitsune, TSUKIKO!!!!

Tsukiko celebrates her victory as her music hits the speakers to an enormous cheer from the fans. As Cheri Lovett makes her way back up the ramp, Tsukiko pauses to give her a respectful bow, before climbing on the ropes to pose triumphantly for the crowd.

Lazer Johnson Segment

Dr. Reemus McKayle Institute

Danni Applegate is with Lazer Johnson in the hospital, now awake and recovering in bed.

Dani Applegate: Lazer, the week I was here with you trying to get an update on your condition when things took a turn for the worst. Are you feeling better.

Lazer (still weak in bed): Don’t you worry about the Lazer with the love of my fans and the Lazer Blazer Brigade, I’ll be just fine.

Dani Applegate: Well Lazer, we’re all relieved to hear that but also the other week we saw from this guy called Black Mirror and -

Lazer cuts Danni off.

Lazer: Black Mirror is in APW? He’s here?

Dani Applegate: Yah and he lambasted the kids in the audience claiming that hes the one that put you in the hospital.

Lazer: He did?

Dani Applegate: He mocked you. He mocked them. He made them cry.

Lazer: Made them… cry?

Dani Applegate: Yea. he told them all that he killed you. He told them you’re never coming back and that theres no santa.

Lazer: No Santa?

Dani Applegate: He then took over your Lazer Brigade and called it the black mirror masters.

Lazer starts to tear off his wires and IVs but is interrupted as Black Mirror takes over their recording frequency.

Black Mirror: Lazer! Lazer! Mwaahaha! Lazer!

Lazer: Black Mirror, you monster! What have you done to the children?

Black Mirror: I told them the truth. Whats wrong, cant handle the truth? Cant handle that I told the kids that you arnt the hero that you lead them to believe. Go ahead, Lazer, get out of bed and into that grave. MWUAHAHAHA.

Lazer: When I get out of here I’ll -

Black Mirror: You’ll what? HAHAHAHA! You’ll what? You’re never going to get out of there. You’re never going to leave and when your lazer brigade needs you the most, you’ll fail them. Just like you always do.

Lazer: You won’t get away with this.

Black Mirror: I will. What are you going to do to stop me except go into another coma. However, if you think you can get out of bed then I challenge you to a match at Alpha Showdown - if you think you’re man enough. AHAHAHAHA

Dani Applegate: Lazer no, you’re in no condition.

Black Mirror: That's right. You’re in no condition. You never were and you never will be.

Lazer: Black Mirror, you wont get away with this.

Black Mirror: But I will. Unless you can stop me. Unless you meet me at Alpha Showdown. ZIP ZAP ZOW ZOW AHAHAHAH

The Canadian Coalition vs. Sweet Annihilation

Jessica Kaine: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a tag team match and introducing first, representing the House of Sweetness…”

‘Sweet Victory’ by Van Halen hits the p.a. system as the fans raise to their feet booing and chants of "whore" begin to fill the arena. When pink and purple lights start to flash through the crowd, the velvet entrance curtains wiggle open as smoke starts to blow out from the top of the ramp as Kandi Washington appears from behind the curtains. She struts up to the top as she stands just within the smoke as she places her hands on her hips. She stares to both sides of the crowd as the smoke dies down and she's joined by her entourage Drake Knight and Ice.

Jessica Kaine: “being accompanied by “The First Lady of Wrestling” Kandi Washington at a combined weight of 572 pounds: Drake Knight and Ice… SWEET ANNIHILATION!!”

Kandi is dressed in a pair of silver boy shorts, light blue backless halter top, and knee-high blocked heel boots. She has her hair pulled back in a tightly pulled ponytail. She starts to strut down the ramp as she's smirking at the booing crowd while Drake Knight and Ice follows behind her. She makes her way to the bottom of the ramp way and turns to her left as she proceeds to the stairs. She struts up the three steel steps as she makes her way alongside the ring apron. She pauses in the middle on the outside apron, staring back at the fans as Drake Knight and Ice stand on both sides of the entrance ramp, at the bottom just gawking at the crowd. She turns back to the ropes and lowers herself under the second rope and steps over the first rope. She stands back up and struts to the middle of the ring, raising her arms above her head as she evilly smirks at the booing crowd as she walks across the ring to the corner. Drake Knight and Ice pull themselves on the apron as she goes over the second rope, and Drake goes over the top. They walk to the middle. She turns around in the corner and leans against the turnbuckle as she lifts her foot up on the bottom turnbuckle pad. Their theme starts to fade, the lights die down, and her video fades from the screen to blackness. All that can be heard now are the fans boos. As they stand in the middle, they turn to the ramp and glare as their opponents' theme starts to play.

Jessica Kaine: “And introducing their opponents…”

"Working Man" by RUSH plays and from behind the curtain steps Mercer Quinn, Ravenous Rick Rage, and Kyle Ryder, they stop at the top of the ramp and they place their hands over their hearts.

Jessica Kaine: “Being accompanied by Kyle Ryder at a combined weight of 529 pounds: Rick Rage and Mercer Quinn… THE CANADIAN COALITION!!”

All three men yell out, "O CANADA!!!", the fans share in their salute and the men make their way down the ramp slapping hands and giving welcoming smiles. All three enter from 3 different sides of the ring and as they enter the ring, Kyle stands in the middle with the other two standing on either side of him, much like the stage stance, each man places a hand over their hearts. "O, CANADA!!!" Kyle exits the ring and Mercer and Rick play paper, rock, scissors, to see who starts the match.

DING! DING! DING!

Mercer loses the game of rock, paper, scissors and starts the match. Ice looks over at Drake Knight and steps over the second rope. She points to herself and says, “she’ll take him.”

Ice and Mercer start to move in toward the middle of the ring as they circle each other in the ring. They lunge toward each other with a hard front grapple. Ice drives her knee in Mercer’s gut and delivers a standing hip toss to him. He holds his lower back and bounces up to his feet. Ice charges at him with a big boot, but Mercer rolls out the way. Ice turns around to a superkick, but Ice catches his foot in midair. While holding Mercer’s leg off the mat, Ice with a clothesline!

Mercer holds his head as Ice leans down and picks him up by the wrist. She whips him into the corner and runs after him, but Mercer gets a foot up out of the corner. Ice crashes into his boot and Mercer runs out from corner, driving her face into the mat with a one-handed bulldog. Ice rolls over to her back and Mercer lifts her up off the mat. He attempts to lock both her arms, but Ice fights out with an elbow to the face. She turns around to a thunderous kick to her midsection. He hooks her with a front grapple and drops her with a fisherman suplex!

Mike Clearwater: “What a nice way to start the match off against the massive Ice.”

St. Remi “Yeah, by keeping her floored—you’re preventing her from using the strength she claims she has.

She sits up after arches her back off the canvas. She uses the mat to get up off the mat, but Mercer bounces off the ropes and catches Ice, in the kneeled position, with a shining wizard! Ice collapses on the mat and Mercer hooks her leg!

“Ice is certainly on the offense against Mercer, but is it enough to put her away?”

ONNEEE..

TWWWOOOO…

Ice kicks out!

“And it’s not! It was far too early Mike!”

Mercer grabs her by the hair and lifts her up, but she manages to muscle him up off the canvas. She rams him back first to SA’s corner. She tags in Drake Knight and quickly lifts her foot up to his throat as she executes a cornered foot choke. Drake enters the ring and runs across to Rick Rage, hitting him with a forearm! Ice lowers her foot and steps out onto the apron. Drake runs across the ring and jumps up as he drives his hip into the cornered Mercer. He grabs him around the neck and tosses him clear across the ring!

“It looks like Rick Rage wants the tag and he want it badly!”

“Mercer looks like he wants to tag in Rick Rage.”

Drake slowly walks toward Mercer who is attempting to crawl toward Rick’s hand. Drake pulls Mercer back by the ankle and stands over him. As he towers over him, he leans down and lifts him up by the throat, but as he raises him up over his head—Mercer with a quick thumb to Drake’s eyes. Drake drops him and Mercer drops to the mat, then leaps, and tags in Rick Rage. TAG!

Mike Clearwater: “It looks like Rick Rage got the tag he desperately wanted!”

St. Remi “And he’s wasting no time now as he sprints into the ring.”

Rick Rage races inside the ring while Drake is rubbing his eyes. He races in and tackles Drake Knight with a spear! He starts to explode on him with forearms to the face until the referee forces him to break the hold. Rick Rage is to his feet as Drake is getting up to his feet. Rick spins around to the back of Drake and lifts him up with a German suplex! He hooks the leg:

“I don’t think anybody has ever seen somebody use so much power to take Drake Knight clear off his feet.”

ONNNEEE…

Drake Knight kicks out with authority!

“But Rick went for the cover too early and he’s paying for it now.”

Rick slouches over and taunts Drake up to his feet, who climbs up to his feet without any problems. Rick meets him with a toe kick to the stomach. He attempts to whip Drake to the ropes, but Drake reverses it and sends him back first to the corner! He bounces out of the corner with a rebound clothesline, but Drake simply stumbles back. Rick runs off the ropes and Drake catches him with a huge back body drop!

Mike Clearwater: “The brute force from the big man is uncanny and impressive.”

St. Remi “You know the saying, what goes up must also come down.”

He gets up to his feet while holding his lower back and Drake slaps his hand around his throat. He lifts him up with his hand over his back. CHOKESLAM FROM HELL!

Mike Clearwater: “Drake Knight has just connected with the Knight Shade!”

He kneels and lowers his back, but Mercer runs in and as Drake turns his attention to him—Mercer catches him with a superkick!

St. Remi “And Mercer Quinn with the Lighting Strike on the big man!”

Ice is inside the ring and Mercer catches her in his blind spot. He charges at her across the ring, but she lifts him up off the canvas with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker over her knee! He holds his back as he ravels on the canvas in agonizing pain. She gets up and holds her arms to her side as she says, “Welcome to the cold war!”

Mike Clearwater: “What a Blizzard by the Ice Queen!”

St. Remi “This is absolutely insane! We are only at the four-minute mark and this match has exploded to undeniable results.”

Slightly dazed, Rick Rage is up to his feet, he stumbles up to his feet and looks over at Drake crawling toward the ropes, then over to Ice. Ice turns around and runs toward Rick Rage, but Rick with a standing boot to the stomach. She clutches over and holds her stomach. He whips her across the ring and she bounces off the ropes. Rick Rage with a popup powerbomb!

Mike Clearwater: “That was the Canadian Rager! He just hit the Canadian Rager on Ice!”

St. Remi “It’s just too bad she’s not the legal person and it looks like Drake Knight is back up to his feet. Rick Rage looks to be in trouble.”

Drake Knight stalks Rage as he gets to his feet! Rage is looking around for Knight, and he turns right around into…

Mike Clearwater: FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION! KNIGHT FALL!

St. Remi: And Knight is going for the pin!

Mercer Quinn dives to stop it…

But is too late!

3! The referee’s hand hit the mat just before Quinn was successful! Knight and Ice look over the near lifeless bodies of the Canadian Coalition.

Jessica Kaine: “Here are your winners-”

Kandi Washington grabs the microphone from Kaine and slides her fingers through her hair as she starts up the stairs.

Kandi Washington: “I tried to warn you all. I tried to let you all in on the secret and the secret was nobody can DEFEAT Kandi fucking Washington!”

She steps along the apron to about midway and steps beneath second rope as she emerges up in the standing position. She struts over to Drake Knight and extends her hand out as she rubs it around his upper back.

Kandi Washington: “You fucking moronic Calgary nobodies thought your precious Canadian Coalition were going to be lucky just because this is part of their hometown of Canada, but guess what look? They were brutally annihilated! They were terminated and this is only a preview on what to expect next week when MY team takes the vacant APW Tag Team Championships!”

She points to her chest as she smirks while the fans boo her.

Kandi Washington: “That’s right, I said MY team! Welcome to Kandi’s World and what I say goes. I dare somebody try to step over the line with me because they won’t be here much longer afterwards. That’s right because not only am I the most dominant female in this business; I’m also the HBIC! Look it up if you’re too ignorant to know what those letters stand for. I have been around since 2001 laying down tracks and making my name a household name! Everybody knows my name--everybody knows the name of Kandi Washington is a bad BRAND! People desire to be like the Queen. People duplicate me every single day, or at least try. I'm not quite ready to pass my torch and a true Queen never has to dirty her hands because she has staff to do it for her! Since 2014, I have plagued the wrestling world with the most dominant stable in the history of all profession wrestling. Who wants a piece of me!? Who wants a fucking piece of my group? Who thinks they can break through the walls of House of Sweetness!? I guarantee you every single man or woman on this roster will eventually BOW DOWN BEFORE ME OR BE FORCED TO THEIR KNEES!"

She swings her head to the side as her hair flips over her shoulder.

Kandi Washington: “First, it’s the tag team titles and second, I’m gunning for the World Heavyweight Championship! It doesn’t really matter if it’s Jake Wakefield, Jason Randall, or me who competes for the strap because one way or another—it will be coming home with The House of Sweetness! In fact, all the belts will be coming home to the House of Sweetness! There are no if’s, and’s, or but’s about it and I always get the FINAL LICK!”

She blows a kiss as she bats her eyelashes seductively.

Kandi Washington: “Now Kyle Ryder, take your boys home and help them lick their wounds because I want them to be as much to 100% as they possibly can for their big pay-per view title match. After all, it wouldn’t be right if Sweet Annihilation had a squash match for the most prized belts in the tag division. NOW HIT MY FUCKING MUSIC!”

She demands as “Lapdance” by N.E.R.D hits over the P.A. system and Kandi raises Drake’s arm in victory. As she’s raising his arm up, Ice slowly steps into the ring—still feeling the effects of that pop-up powerbomb as she walks over to Kandi and Drake. The two begin to celebrate as the scene fades to the backstage area.

Johnny Blaze/Alex Scott vs Sandy Coconutz/Lucy Sixx vs Bryan Worthy/Smith Jones

St. Remi: This has been one intense night so far, my dudes! And we still have our first ever pay-per-view coming up next week! I'd ask how it can possibly get any better, but as we all know -- this is Alpha Pro Wrestling!

Mike Clearwater: I couldn't agree with my broadcast partner more, so without further ado, let's get this party started!

The lights in the arena go dim as 'Lit Up' by Buckcherry begins playing. Flames light the runway as The Phenom Johnny Blaze makes his way to the ring. He shakes hands with those at ringside before jumping over the ropes and entering.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen! The following match is a triple threat tag team match, and is scheduled for one fall! First to the ring, from Chicago, Illinois… "the Phenom" Johnny Blaze!

He hits the ropes and sits on the middle one as "Fight Like the Devil" begins, and there is a brief murmuring of fans. As the song picks up, Alex Scott parts the curtain, a look of focus and minor indifference on his face.

Jessica Kaine: And his partner, from Anaheim, California… the "All Day Superstar" Alex Scott!

He shows very little emotion, walking to the ring in his hooded sweatshirt, tights and boots. He hits the ring, uses the ropes the stretch, and then sits on the top turnbuckle, mentally preparing himself to wrestle.

St. Remi: Both these guys look focused and ready to fight!

Surfin Bird hits the PA system as Sandy coconutz stumbles out in stage with her dark glasses and over sized sun hat. She has a corona in one hand and a mixed in drink in the other.

Jessica Kaine: Next, from Honolulu, Hawaii… Sandy Coconutz!

She staggers and skids her way to the ring, cursing and yelling at the fans telling them to quote " shut up" and that " they don't know me. you don't know me, dude." She tries to climb the steps but stumbles forward and falls through the ropes and lays on her back ready to smash or be smashed.

Jessica Kaine: And her partner, from Los Angeles, California… "Full Metal" Lucy Sixx!

The lights in the arena go out as Looks that Kill begins blaring throughout the arena. Lucy Sixx steps out from behind the curtain. She stops at the top of the ramp to head bang a bit before walking briskly to the ring, casting a look of disdain at her erstwhile partner. She slides in and awaits her opponent.

Mike Clearwater: Sixx isn't looking thrilled about being paired with Sandy Coconutz.

St. Remi: Bro, I'll tag team that Sandy C any day!

Mike Clearwater: …

"I Disappear” by Metallica blasts out of the venue's speakers. Buzz walks out onto the stage during the opening riff. Going from one side to another, he acknowledges the crowd, before kneeling and pointing outward with both arms. He then points at his own chest, jumps to his feet, and runs to the ring.

Jessica Kaine: "Hailing from Apache Junction, Arizona, and weighing 235 pounds, Bryan "Buzz" Worthy!"

Worthy enters the ring apron and climbs the steps. He walks to his corner and climbs the turnbuckle, again pointing out to the crowd. He then drops down, removes and passes off his robe, and readies himself for the match.

The opening riff from ‘Waiting For The End’ by Linkin Park plays, followed by that repeated double piano hit as all of the lights in the arena blast to full white. Smith Jones comes out onto the stage dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. All of the spotlights point at Smith as the rest of the arena now rests in darkness. Jones stops at the top of the ramp and looks out across the crowd as many of them chant "Smitty! Smitty! Smitty!"

Jessica Kaine: And his partner, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds... there is only one... SMITH JONES!!!

Smith strides confidently down to ringside. He mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the ring apron before parting the ropes and taking centre. Jones turns his back to camera to show off the sparkly silver "1'm" embroidered across his shoulders. He raises his right fist in the air and looks up at it. Smith opens his hand and spreads his fingers out wide as he lets go of everything outside the ring and focuses on the fight in front of him. Jones removes his robe and hands it to ringside before stretching up for the match.

St. Remi: That is some serious talent in this ring right now! Smith Jones is a veteran competitor. Johnny Blaze is the son of an accomplished WCF legend. Bryan Worthy is a former WCF superstar in his own right, and Sandy was a member of the illustrious #beachkrew! Lucy Sixx is one of two competitors fighting for the Junior Heavyweight Championship! And then there's the new guy.

Mike Clearwater: I'm sure Alex Scott is as qualified as the rest of the men and women assembled in this ring -- and he looks ready to prove it!

*DING! DING!*

St. Remi: Scott wasting no time as he goes on the offense, pummeling an unfortunate Bryan Worthy with lefts and rights! Sandy C throws herself into the fray with a couple of open hand slaps!

Mike Clearwater: That got Alex Scott's attention! He turns on Coconutz -- and eats a boot for his efforts! Scott slumps against the ropes!

St. Remi: Worthy and Coconutz forming a temporary alliance as they take turns working over the young superstar!

Mike Clearwater: HERE COMES JOHNNY BLAZE! Blaze to the rescue, even as his partner tumbles through the ropes to the outside! A huge haymaker for Worthy! A big chop to Sandy C!

St. Remi: Sixx and Jones in to even the odds! Jones drops Blaze with a surprise suplex from behind! Sixx spears Worthy to the mat and mounts him -- dude, I wish I was Bryan Worthy right now!

Mike Clearwater: You want to rethink that, Jonah? Sixx unleashing fists of fury on the former journalist!

St. Remi: Smith Jones puts a swift end to that, pulling Sixx off by the hair! The official warning him about it, but Jones isn't interested! He flings Lucy Sixx toward the ropes and waits for the rebound!

Mike Clearwater: Clothesline! But Smitty ducks and Lucy's momentum carries her back across the ring -- right into the waiting arms of Blaze! Blaze with a powerful slam that bounces Sixx off the canvas hard!

St. Remi: Smitty getting in Blaze's face! What's that about, bro?

Mike Clearwater: It seems Smith Jones has a score to settle with Sixx, but that doesn't sit well with a recovered Sandy Coconutz! Sandy drills Jones with a superkick!

St. Remi: And one for Blaze! And another for Worthy! This chick is cleaning house!

Mike Clearwater: A superkick for Alex Scott! Coconutz now helping Lucy Sixx to her feet, but Sixx waves her off in annoyance. Smitty back up! Sandy looking to land one more -- DENIED! Jones avoids the kick and floors Coconutz with a fallaway slam!

St. Remi: The ref now warning Sixx and Worthy to their respective corners as Jones looks for an early pin!

TWO . . .

Mike Clearwater: Broken up by Alex Scott! Jones turns his fury on the newcomer! Smitty lunges, but Scott counters and sets Jones up for a flapjack, looking for that transition to a cutter -- but it's Coconutz with the save!

St. Remi: I don't even know what to call that, bro, but it was hella effective!

Mike Clearwater: So it was, but can Sandy capitalize?

St. Remi: Dude, I'm not sure she can even spell.

Mike Clearwater: Coconutz going for that spiked hurricanrana, but Jones intervenes before she can make the pin! Smitty lifts Sandy up on his shoulders and dumps her to the mats outside, then lifts AlexScott to his feet!

St. Remi: He'd better watch out! Johnny Blaze and Lucy Sixx are stepping back into the action, but Bryan Worthy is there to stop them! Bulldog to Sixx!

Mike Clearwater: And he's not finished yet! He intercepts a charging Johnny Blaze with a stiff clothesline! Now a quick suplex from Buzz while Jones nails Scott with a backstabber to the neck!

St. Remi: Point of Controversy! Smitty with the pin!

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen, your winners of this match… Bryan Worthy and Smith Jones!!!!

Linkin Park's "Waiting for the End" blasts across the speakers as he stands in the center of the ring, soaking in the cheers from the crowd. Worthy climbs the ropes to pose for the fans to a renewed pop.

Mike Clearwater: That was a match worthy of the Alpha brand! Stay tuned, wrestling fans -- there's still more to come!

The sparkling sounds of New Eden by Animals as Leaders trickles through the PA System. Both Jason, with his boot and crutches, and Roku, make their way to the ring.

Jessica: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… representing the ASU, Xete Roku, and the co-commissioner of APW, Jason Zurraaa!

The crowd cheers as Roku assists Jason into the ring. Jason shakes Jessica's hand as she hands him the mic.

Remi: What's going on, bro? As far as I know, Jason wasn't scheduled to be out here.

Clearwater: Considering the issues Jason has had with Odin Balfore, I'm assuming it has to do with him.

Jason: Hello people of Calgary.

The crowd falls for the obvious cheap pop.

Jason: I know you guys want to see some action. However, I have something important to do here tonight that involves my brother Roku.

The crowd "ooh"s with intrigue.

Remi: Looks like you were right, Mikey boy.

Jason: As most of you most likely know, Odin Balfore shocked the world when he made his presence known in APW.

The crowd cheers, to Jason's displeasure.

Jason: But Odin made a crucial mistake that night. That mistake was targeting the ASU, and sneak attacking talent across the show. Did he make a big splash? Sure. Did he turn heads? Of course! But he did it at the expense of our talent, and our staff. He sees APW as inferior.

Finally, the crowd boos, showing a similar disdain.

Jason: I won't allow Odin to make a mockery of us! He wants to belittle us, so I suggest he gets a taste of his own medicine. I understand Roku isn't a part of our roster, but he's still an ASU member, and therefore, is a part of APW. Just like me, he cares for this company. I picked Roku, not because of our blood, but because of his sheer power and his thirst for the fight.

The crowd gives Roku a mixed reaction. He simply smirks, unphased by them.

Jason: So… here's the plan. I made sure that Odin would be in the building tonight. Not for a match, but for a contract signing.

Jason turns to the stage, where some staff bring a table and paperwork. He takes a pen out of his suit pocket as they set everything up.

Jason: Roku is challenging Odin to a grudge match at Alpha Showdown, and I want Odin to come down here, and sign this contract if he wants a challenge!

The crowd erupts in anticipation for the All Father!

Remi: I don't think Odin should do it! He has nothing to prove!

Clearwater: Why not? He has to have his first match at some point!

Remi: The Alpha Showdown match is where he should debut!

"With Odin on Our Side" by Amon Amarth growls through the PA system for a minute, and then stops, with no Odin in sight.

Clearwater: Is he not going to sign?

Remi: Like I said, he has better things to worry about. Like winning titles!

Jason: I know you're here, Odin! Is this cowardice? Are you realizing that you can't compete like you use--

Odin: Hey Zurra!

The spotlight and cameras search for Odin for a couple moments, before he's seen in the crowd. Jason and Roku turn to him with a glare in their eyes.

Odin: You got a lot of talk for a guy leaning on crutches.

The crowd "ooh"s as Jason looks with disdain.

Jason: You should know by now that I was competing before I got injured.

Odin: Yeah, well ya ain't now, so how about you shut up and sit down, and let the person that's actually supposed to be fighting me do the talking!

Roku turns to Jason, asking him for the mic. Jason nods, giving him the mic, and leans on the turnbuckle.

Roku: You wanna talk? We can talk. But how about we do this like real warriors, instead of like a coward? You're standing there surrounded with people yards away. Step into the ring, look at me face to face, so we can really talk!

Odin laughs a bit. The crowd are reeling. Even more so once he finally begins to walk down.

Clearwater: Here comes the All Father!

Remi: Something tells me this isn't gonna end well, dude.

Odin makes it to the ring. The two are face to face, with only the table and contract between them. Jason takes this opportunity to hand the pen over to Roku.

Odin: You sure you wanna do this, meathead? If I sign that contract, and you don't make it past Alpha Showdown, the blood will be on your brother's hands, not mine.

Jason looks at him angrily, meanwhile, Roku begins to laugh maniacally.

Roku: You don't know a damn thing about me and the shit I've been through. This is nowhere near my first war. Nothing you say or do will make me fear you. I'm out for blood, Balfore. So quit your talking and sign the damn contract!

Roku slams the mic down and signs the contract, tossing the pen to Odin afterwards. Odin laughs.

Odin: At least you signed your death wish with pride.

Odin signs the contract to a big pop! The match has become official. Jason takes the contract and holds it up, pumping up the crowd even more.

Clearwater: There we have it, Remi! Odin Balfore vs Roku Xete is going to happen at Alpha Showdown!

Remi: Roku better pray to every God, if he hopes to survive.

Roku throws the table and steps up to Odin. Jason senses danger and slides out of the ring to the best of his abilities. Odin stares down at Roku, and laughs in his face. Roku's had enough, and strikes at Odin! Odin strikes back, and the brawl begins! The crowd ERUPTS!

Remi: I knew it! Here we go, Mikey Bro!

Clearwater: Fear does not exist in the mind of Roku Xete!

Odin begins to gain the upper hand with some heavy hits, until Roku ducks one of his strikes. He hits the ropes, and hits a clubbing blow to the back of the All Father, bringing him down to one knee. As Roku hits the opposite ropes, Odin reaches for the rope to get back up to a vertical base. Roku takes advantage, clotheslining him over the top rope! Odin lands on the floor, but remains standing. He looks bewildered at the ASU Strongman, who's beckoning him to get back in the ring.

Clearwater: Did Roku just gain the upper hand?

Remi: Barely! Odin ain't hurt, bro! He was simply caught off guard.

Odin reaches up to the ropes to get back in the ring, but stops for a moment. He gets back down, stepping back with a chilling laugh. The crowd boos, wanting more action.

Clearwater: Alpha Showdown is going to be an insane event! Will Odin continue to dominate, or will Roku shock everyone?

Mike Clearwater: Another big coming up with Alpha Showdown just one week away.

St. Remi: It’s going to be huge. And we’ll see everyone in the main even rumble.

Mike Clearwater: So it’s moving day this Monday night. Let’s see who can grab the momentum.

The opening chords of “UltraNUMB” by Blu Stahli fills the arena as the lights go dark. Several flashes of blue and green lights illuminate various parts of the arena and entrance ramp to the beat of the song, all stopping with a cascade falling at the top center as Blue Stahli screams…

YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW!!!

At this point, the fans begin roaring as Jaice Wilds is spotted on a platform a few feet above the ramp. He raises his arms into an X, taking a moment to watch the crowd respond in kind before…

3! 2! 1!

Wilds flips forward off the platform, landing superhero style on the ramp below. He looks up, removing the hood from his face and tossing his shades into the crowd. He starts down the ramp, taking some time to slap random fives and bump fists.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen, making his way to the ring!!

Wilds stops at the bottom of the ramp, taking in a deep breath and signing the rosarie before launching forward, corkscrewing himself to fly between the top and middle ring ropes and rolling to his feet once inside the ring. He looks to each side of the ring, the fans on their feet as he heads for a turnbuckle.

Mike Clearwater: Wilds made a dramatic reveal last week.
St. Remi: He was X all along. And fans everywhere are wondering what this journeyman has to bring.

Mike Clearwater: Well he got off on the wrong foot with the locker room.

St. Remi: Heck yeah, bro. He stepped out in front of a pack of hyenas. Ate him alive.

Mike Clearwater: He was jumped. No shame in saying here. I for one can’t wait to see his skills in action.

St. Remi: Ditto.

“Unstoppable” by For the Fallen Dreams hits with strobing lights. Spartan appears with his arms raised to a huge pop.

Jessica Kaine: His opponent, fighting out Los Angeles, CA… weighing in at 265 pounds… Spartan!

Mike Clearwater: He was a bottle rocket of energy at last week’s show.

St. Remi: That’s a big and athletic dude. He took the fans by surprise, holding his own against terrors like ZMac and our new Hardcore Champion, James Wolf.

Mike Clearwater: He’s so athletic yet unblemished. Hard to tell how far he can go just yet.

St. Remi: Well unlike Jaice Wilds, Spartan shed a lot of blood last week. He’s definitely won over these fans.

Mike Clearwater: And here he comes!

A hard rocking version of “I’ve Been Everywhere” drowns the arena until the revving of the Road Dawg’s motorcycle hits the ramp. He rolls down to the ring at a cruising speed.

Jessica Kaine: Finally, weighing in at 220 pounds… It’s the Road Dawg!

Road Dawg has to serve at his first turn because a human lawn dart, in the power forward shape of Spartan, vaults in his direction. The Dawg misses the attack, and gets his bike to a clean stop. Spartan made a safe landing on all fours yet looks a little shaky. Meanwhile, Jaice Wilds looks to official “Spanky” O’Shaughnessy for clarification. Both men before Spanky calls for the starting bell.

Mike Clearwater: Spartan goes right for the dawg with energetic rights.

St. Remi: But the crafty veteran returns them with interest. Road Dawg is a hardy striker.

Mike Clearwater: Indeed, and Wilds is just letting them duke it out in the legal territory.

St. Remi: There’s no way they get counted out… I mean that’d be a bummer.

O’Shaughnessy begins his count. Spartan gets the upper hand when the Dawg tries to roll back in the ring. Spartan whips him into the apron hard. Jaice wilds look to his right, then his left, before hitting both opponents with a baseball slide. Spartan walks it off, but Road Dawg took it the back.

Mike Clearwater: That’s playing it smart.

St. Remi: Road Dawg might be a veteran of the game, but few are as opportunistic as Jaice Wilds.

Mike Clearwater: He knows how to win. Now these fans are getting a true glimpse of him.

St. Remi: Spartan in on the apron. He jumps right into the action!

Spartan runs headfirst at Jaice Wilds who baits into running right into a Pele kick – except the uber reflexes of Spartan save him Matrix style from the springing back kick.

St. Remi: Did you see that!

Mike Clearwater: Spartan is quite the athlete. He’s got Wilds from the side!

St. Remi: German – no! Jaice lands on both feet!

Mike Clearwater: Now he goes behind – it’s a small package!

Spartan kicks out and nearly kips up, but the burly Road Dawg takes both men out with a double clothesline. He then goes to work on Spartan with side headlock.

St. Remi: He knows which one is the most dangerous in that ring.

Mike Clearwater: Is it Spartan? Or Wilds.

St. Remi: Jaice is in front him, Mikey. Just don’t let him get behind your line of sight.

Spartan gets to his feet and hits a couple sloppy elbows to separate him and the Dawg. He hits the ropes in single bound then returns in about the same stride to nail a jumping knee strike.

Mike Clearwater: The Dawg is stunned. He’s looking for the ropes.

St. Remi: Wilds is back up, and he’s got Spartan by the leg.

Mike Clearwater: Those are brutal leg kicks.

St. Remi: Chopping the bigger man down one joint at a time, bro. Spartan was not expecting that.

Mike Clearwater: Nor that they would that much. You can see it in his eyes.

St. Remi: He’s green. What’d you expect, a world champion performance?

Spartan turns around, gripping his knee in the process, falling right into a lightning quick sling blade cutter. He goes down, but Jaice goes for the Road Dawg instead. A couple punches get him into position for something huge.

Mike Clearwater: What’s he trying to do now?

St. Remi: Standing Tornado DDT!

Mike Clearwater: No pin – he’s climbing to the high rent district!

Road Dawg twitches a bit but looks stuck in the ground. Jaice Wilds makes a quick sign to the crowd before leaping off for a corkscrew moonsault.

St. Remi: The Dawg escaped! And he’s on the attack!

Mike Clearwater: Pump handle slam! Jaice Wilds is neutralized!

St. Remi: Spartan is up… and here we go, bro!

Mike Clearwater: Both men are raining punches like there’s no tomorrow!

After punching, elbowing and kneeing the piss out of each other strong style, Wilds stands up. He watches, waiting for a perfect opening.

Mike Clearwater: Road Dawg hits three – now four painful right hands to Spartan.

St. Remi: He’s tipping over!

Mike Clearwater: And down goes Spartan… there’s Wilds!

St. Remi: Holy Shit! What was that spinning kick?

Mike Clearwater: He calls it the Xtreme Dream… but who cares about that? Wilds just decapitated the Dawg!

St. Remi: And he hooks the leg!

Mike Clearwater: Patience is a virtue, and it won the match for Jaice Wilds.

St. Remi: He might not be the fan’s favorite right now. But he deserves all the credit for how he played those guys tonight. Taking full advantage of their over-pursuit.

Mike Clearwater: You can say that again. He may be an opportunist, but it secures his first win in Alpha Wrestling.

St. Remi: We’ll be right back after these messages.

Dean Wolf walks into his dressing room. There’s a table in the middle of the room with a fruit basket on it. He looks at it quizzically, drops his bag on the ground, and lays his Hardcore Championship belt on the table. There’s a card attached to the basket. Wolf detaches the card and reads it out loud.

Dean Wolf: “Congratulations on your historic victory last week. Please accept this gift as a token of my esteem. Sincerely, Irina Ivanova.”

He looks over the card one more time.

Dean Wolf: What the fuck?

He crumbles the card in his hand, throws it over his shoulder, and stares at the basket skeptically.

Mike Clearwater: We’ve seen many competitors tonight who will compete in title matches next Monday night at Alpha Showdown, but every competitor in our tag team main event tonight is each competing for a different title. Jonah, if it were you, how would you approach this match tonight.

St. Remi: I tell ya what. If it were me, I wouldn’t even show up. These guys are trying to make history next week in APW’s first pay-per-view, and if I were one of them, I’d take the week off and go rest up.

Mike Clearwater: Lucky for us, all four men in our main event are here. Let’s go to Jessica Kaine for the introductions.

Jessica Kaine: This tag team contest is our main event and is scheduled for one fall!

“Fever for the Flavor” by Hot Action Cop begins to play and Steven Osbourne struts through the curtain carrying his trusty address book. He hits on as many women as he can trying to get their numbers as he makes his way to the ring.

Jessica Kaine: First, accompanied to the ring by Veronica Anderson and Amber Del Valle, from Sexville, Population, You, weighing in at 200 pounds of sex appeal, “The Super Sexy Boogeyman Slayer” Steve Osbourne.

Mike Clearwater: Osbourner qualified for the Junior Heavyweight Title fight three weeks ago here on Metal. Can he overcome the firebrand known as Lucy Sixx to be the first king of the Junior Heavyweights?

”SO SEEK THE WOLF IN THYSELF!”

Jessica Kaine: His partner, from wherever he may roam weighing in at 228 pounds, the WCF Hardcore Champion, Dean Wolf!

Dean Wolf marches down the aisle with the Hardcore Championship around his waist and carrying the fruit basket that Irina Iranova left in his dressing room.

Mike Clearwater: Is he carrying a fruit basket?

Wolf hands the fruit basket off to the first fan he sees and continues walking to the ring. When he enters the ring, he walks to every side of the ring holding up the Hardcore Championship with his left hand while also holding up his right arm, where he shows off the tattoo on the underside of his forearm which reads "Seek the wolf in thyself."

Mike Clearwater: This man has already won his title by virtue of winning the One Big Brawl last week on Metal, but can he prove that he deserves to be the Hardcore Champion by beating ZMAC and Spartan at the same time?

"Violent Revolution" comes on over the PA, as the lights go black. Suddenly a red glow behind the silhouette of Trent Page. An explosion of flame on either side of him, and the lights come on. He glares at the ring with fire in his eyes, slamming his fist against his chest several times.

Jessica Kaine: Their opponents; first, from Trenton, New Jersey. He stands six feet tall, and weighs in at two hundred and thirty five pounds... Trent Page!

Trent throws his fist in the air, and stares back and forth at the crowd with disdain. He spits on the ramp, and continues making his way down to the ring. Sliding under the bottom rope, he glares at the crowd once more, his hatred clear. He climbs to the second rope, and throws up his fist again, drawing more booing from the people. As his music dies, he climbs down and removes his jacket, preparing for his match.

Mike Clearwater: Page will be fighting The Road Dawg and Nyeo Son to fight for the right to reign as the first North American Champion. Will it be a reign of anarchy?

"Less Sex" by Daughters builds with a static swell and a light instrumentation until a sudden snare halts the static and "Braxton Lucas" cuts onto the Titantron. Braxton steps out from behind the curtain with a small burlap bag over his head.

Jessica Kaine: And his partner, coming to the ring at two-hundred and twenty pounds, from St. Paul, Minnesota. BRRRRRRRRRAXTON LOOOOOOOCUUUUUUUUUSSSS!

Slowly he walks down to the ring as the song continues on with it's melancholic tone. He ascends the steel steps and along the apron of the before reaching the middle and turning to face the crowd. As the song strikes its sour screeches, Braxton rips off the bag and assaults the camera with an unflinching stare before stepping between the ropes and into the center of the ring.

Mike Clearwater: He’s fighting for the richest prize in APW against Masuda Jubei, a man he’s already beaten. Will he make it 2-0 and become the face of the promotion as the first World Heavyweight Champion?

Wolf and Locus start the match. They engage in a collar and elbow tie-up. Wolf gets Locus into a side headlock. Locus sends Wolf off the ropes and falls on his stomach. Wolf hops over him and hits the opposite ropes. Locus shoots up and drives a knee into Wolf’s gut. Wolf flips forward. Locus gets down to his knees, chickenwings Wolf’s left arm, and drives a series of elbows into Wolf’s head.

Mike Clearwater: Those elbows from Braxton Locus are deadly!

Locus gets Wolf up and wrenches his arm. He brings Wolf to his corner and tags in Page. He axe handles Wolf’s arm while Locus holds it. The ref gets Locus out of the ring. Page pushes Wolf into the corner and hits a series of forearm strikes. He whips Wolf into the opposite corner. He charges and hits a flying corner forearm. Wolf falls forward. Page gets on the second rope and waits for Wolf to get up. When he does, Page flies and brings him down with a European uppercut. He covers.

Kick out

Page brings Wolf to his corner and tags in Locus. Locus wrenches Wolf’s fingers back. Wolf screams out in pain. He kicks Wolf in the gut and grabs him in a front face lock. Then, he drives him to the mat with a facebuster. He covers.

Wolf kicks out and Locus immediately rolls Wolf onto his stomach. He drives a knee into the center of Wolf’s back, bars his left arm, and pulls back. The ref ask Wolf if he wants to tap.

Dean Wolf: Fuck no! Gaaaa!

Realizing Wolf won’t give up, Locus lets go of the arm, pulls his head up by his hair, and give him a boot wash to the left side of Wolf’s face. Locus poses to the crowd. A mix of boos and cheers is heard.

St. Remi: Braxton is supremely confident in his abilities. I hope he feels that confident this Sunday against Jubei.

When he turns around, Wolf shoots to his feet and tackles Locus. He rains down punches on the well-read competitor.

Mike Clearwater: Wolf took advantage of Locus’ arrogance!

Wolf gets Locus up and sends him off the ropes but Locus reverses. However, Wolf holds on and hits a Regal Cutter. He covers.

Locus kicks out. Wolf drags Locus to his corner and tags in Osbourne. Osbourne gets Locus to his feet and sends him down with a snap suplex. He floats over and goes for the cover.

Locus kicks out. Osbourne brings him to the turnbuckle and hits a knife-edge chop. Locus clutches his chest. Osbourne gets him back into the corner and hits another chop. He whips Locus into the opposite corner and charges but Locus hip tosses him right into the top and middle turnbuckles. Osbourne falls right onto his neck.

Mike Clearwater: My god!

Locus traps Osbourne into a sleeper hold and suplexes back onto the top of his head.

St. Remi: Osbourne better hope he can make it to the Junior Heavyweight Title match without a compromised neck.

He keeps on Osbourne and traps him in a Crossface Chickenwing.

Mike Clearwater: This could be it!

The ref asks Osbourne if he wants to tap. Wolf yells for Osbourne to get out of the hold and reaches out his hand. Anderson and Del Valle smack the apron. The crowd follows their rhythm and claps to motivate Osbourne. Somehow, he makes it to his feet and is able to make it to the corner. He pushes off the top turnbuckle, falls backward, and flips over so that he has Locus in a pin just like Bret Hart did to Roddy Piper at WrestleMania VIII.

Mike Clearwater: Look at that!

Locus gets out of the pinning predicament. He shoots up and kicks Osbourne in the head. Osbourne goes down and Locus covers.

Locus just gets his shoulder blade up. Locus tags in Page, who climbs to the top rope and goes for a diving headbutt. Osbourne moves out of the way and Page’s head collides with the mat. Both men are down. The ref starts a double 10 count.

Osbourner starts crawling towards Wolf.

He’s about to tag Wolf in when Locus dashes across the ring and hits an elbow strike on Wolf. Wolf almost falls off the apron but he hangs on. He tries to go after Locus but the ref stops him. Wolf argues with him. With the ref distracted, Locus and Page double team Osbourne. Locus whips Osbourne forward into a springboard back elbow by Page.

Mike Clearwater: Come on, ref, turn around!

Wolf finally gets out of the ring. The ref turns around and sees Locus in the ring. He gets Locus back to his corner. Page covers Osbourne.

Osbourne is still alive. Page argues with the ref and holds up three fingers.

Trent Page: That was three!

The ref argues back and Page gets frustrated. He looks down on Osbourne and eyes him curiously. He notices a special...bulge in Osbourne’s trunks. He reaches his hands into Osbourne’s trunks. The crowd gets a little weirded out. Anderson and Del Valle yell at Page.

St. Remi: Okay, I’m weirded out now.

Page’s hand emerges from Osbourne’s trunk. He’s holding a pair of brass knuckles and shows the ref.

Mike Clearwater: We know Osbourne is sneaky, but Page was a little too sharp for that.

Page attempts to put the brass knuckles on his own hand but the referee stops him and snatches the knuckles away (realizing very quickly they were in another man’s trunk, he holds the brass knucks between his thumb and pointer finger). The ref goes to give them to a ringside attendant (who is equally as cautious when he grabs them), which allows Osbourne to hit Page with Eliminating the Competition. The crowd pops. Locus implores the ref to pay attention.

St. Remi: Osbourne still found a way to cheat!

Osbourner jumps onto Page’s shoulders.

Mike Clearwater: The Sexecution!

Osbourne gets up and pounds his chest. He climbs to the top rope. Page gets to his feet and Osbourne takes to the air with a moonsault. He turns to the crowd and motions that he’s going for Love Em and Leave Em.

Mike Clearwater: Osbourne is going to end it right now!

He climbs to the second rope and sets Page up to be lifted, but Locus runs over to Osbourne and distracts him. Page gets loose, jumps, and hits Osbourne with a European uppercut. Osbourne falls to the apron. Page pulls him between the top and middle ropes until just Osbourne’s feet are draped over the middle rope. Page traps him in a front facelock and sends him crashing down to the mat with a DDT.

Crowd: Oooo!

Page looks at the crowd.

Trent Page: It’s over!

The crowd boos. Page gets Osbourne in a double underhook. He lifts to hit The Revolution Song but Osbourne blocks it and back body drops Page.

Mike Clearwater: Who’s getting to their partner first!

Osbourne crawls towards Wolf. Page crawls towards Locus. Anderson and Del Valle pound the mat again. The crowd is urging Osbourne on. Finally, he tags in Wolf while Page tags in Locus. Wolf comes in full steam ahead and knocks Locus down with a right hand. Page runs towards Wolf and gets knocked down with a right hand as well. Locus comes charging but Wolf hits a reverse STO. Locus goes on the attack but he’s brought down with a spinebuster. Wolf yells towards the crowd, who yell back in approval.

Mike Clearwater: Wolf is fired up!

Wolf stands near the ropes and waits for Locus to get to his feet. Locus gets to a bent position. Wolf charges.

Mike Clearwater: Here comes Easy Prey! No!

Page cuts him off with flying knee. Page gets to his feet and is immediately brought down with a missile dropkick by Osbourne. Osbourne looks at the crowd excitedly. He brings Page to the ropes with the intention of executing the French Tickler, but Page scouts it well and backdrops Osbourne over the top rope and to the floor.

St. Remi: That was a nasty fall!

Page looks back and Osbourne and waits for him to get to his feet. When he does Page comes off the ropes and goes for a suicide dive, but Anderson and Del Valle pull Osbourne out of the way.

Mike Clearwater: Page crashes right into the guardrail!

Back in the ring, Locus and Wolf get to their feet. Wolf attempts a Death Valley Driver, but Locus escapes and pushes Wolf forward. Osbourne runs towards Wolf, who pops Osbourne up, which allows Osbourne to attempt a Sexecution on Locus. Instead, Locus drives Osbourne to the mat with a powerbomb.

Crowd: Ooooo!

Wolf attempts The Kill but Locus ducks. Wolf and eats an elbow strike. Wolf stumbles and hits an elbow strike of his own. Locus returns with another one, followed by Wolf. They go back and forth like this until Locus hits a big one that causes Wolf to stumble, but he musters up enough energy to desperately hit his finishing move.

Mike Clearwater: THE KILL!

Locus gets turned inside out. Wolf falls to the mat but doesn’t have the energy to attempt a pin.

Wolf, Locus, and Osbourne are all down on the mat while Page is still out on the outside floor.

Mike Clearwater: What a match!

The crowd gives all four men a standing ovation.

Crowd: THIS IS AWE-SOME! :clap clap clap clap clap: THIS IS AWE-SOME! :clap clap clap clap clap:

Mike Clearwater:These fans are showing their appreciation for these four competitors in this ring! Wait a minute!

Lucy Sixx runs into the ring and start putting the boots to Steve Osbourne. The ref calls for the bell.

Mike Clearwater: What is she doing here?!

St. Remi: I think she wants to get a head start ahead of Alpha Showdown!

Mike Clearwater: Well, she just ruined a great main event!

St. Remi: I think Dean Wolf is going to make her pay for that!

Wolf grabs Sixx and throws her across the ring with a Dragon Suplex.

St. Remi: He’s setting up for The Kill!

Mike Clearwater: Hold on! It’s ZMAC! DOVE KILLAH!

Wolf falls right on his face like a stack of bricks. Meanwhile, Sixx turns around and is brought down with a running crossbody by Osbourne. He gets Sixx to the ropes.

Mike Clearwater: THE FRENCH TICKLER!

Osbourne releases the hold, pulls Sixx to the outside and whips her hard into the guardrail.

ZMAC goes to the ringside attendant and pulls the Hardcore Championship out of his hands. He climbs back into the ring and walks towards the prone body of Wolf but the ref grabs a hold of the belt. ZMAC pushes the ref down with his free hand. That momentary distraction allows Spartan to get in the ring and attempt a Spear on the coked-up madman. At the same time, Locus gets back to his feet.

Mike Clearwater: ZMAC dodges the Spear! Locus gets Speared instead!

Spartan immediately gets up and turns toward ZMAC, who tries to hit Spartan with the Hardcore belt.

Mike Clearwater: Spartan ducks!

ZMAC turns. Spartan lifts him up in a fireman’s carry.

St. Remi: REVOLUTIONIZER! He threw ZMAC right over the top rope and to the floor with nothing to break his fall!

Spartan turns around.

Mike Clearwater: Cactus Clothesline by Wolf!

Wolf and Spartan spill over the top rope and to the floor. Meanwhile, Osbourne tries to throw Sixx into the steel steps, but she stops short. Osbourne runs at her and eats a superkick. Sixx climbs up to the apron and springboards off the ropes.

Mike Clearwater: METAL INQUISITION!

Both Osbourne and Sixx are out on the floor. The crowd gets louder. The cameras pan around the arena to see what’s gotten the fans’ attention and finally zones in on somebody hopping the barricade.

Mike Clearwater: It’s Masuda Jubei!

He gets into the ring and stares across the ring at Locus, who’s still down after Spartan’s Spear. He laughs maniacally and marches toward him.

St. Remi: Here comes Page!

Page gets back in the ring and runs at Jubei.

Mike Clearwater: ONE MAN MOSH PIT!

Page mounts Jubei and starts throwing rapid fire punches.

St. Remi: He’s still not over Jubei!

Road Dawg gets in the ring.

Mike Clearwater: Crescent Kick by The Road Dawg!

Road Dawg looks towards the corner and smiles.

St. Remi: I think a light bulb just went off in Road Dawg’s head!

Road Dawg pulls Page by the hair and brings him out to the apron. While still holding on to Page, he climbs one side of the turnbuckles and Pulls page up with him. The crowd begins to stir.

Mike Clearwater: Don’t tell me...he’s not going to…

Meanwhile, Sixx, Osbourne, ZMAC, Spartan, and Wolf all get to their feet and start throwing haymakers at each other. Even Anderson and Del Valle get involved. All seven people look up and see Road Dawg on the top rope, lifting up Page.

Mike Clearwater: OH MY GOD!!! ROAD DAWG JUST POWERBOMBED TRENT PAGE OFF THE TOP ROPE AND TOOK OUT EVERYBODY ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR!!!

The crowd goes mental.

Mike Clearwater: LOOK AT THE MASS OF HUMANITY THAT HAS BEEN LAID OUT!

In the ring, Jubei makes it back to his feet and looks over the top rope, impressed with the carnage that has taken place. He turns and is caught by Locus.

Mike Clearwater: URANAGE!

Locus stands up and looks down on his rival. He pretends to dust off his hand and goes to leave but looks back at Jubei’s supine body.

St. Remi: I don’t think he’s done with Jubei.

Locus throws Jubei over through the ropes and to the outside. Locus follows, grabs Jubei by the hair, and throws him onto the announce table.

St. Remi: Time to run for cover, Mike!

Locus stands on the table and scans the crowd. He runs his thumb across his throat in a slashing motion.

Mike Clearwater: Braxton! What about Alpha Showdown?! What about the World Heavyweight Championship?!

Braxton Locus: He’s not making it to Showdown!

He sets Jubei up.

Mike Clearwater: He’s going to Uranage Jubei onto our announce table! Wait! No!

Jubei elbows Locus in the back of the head. Locus releases the hold and Jubei scoops him up.

Mike Clearwater: MASUDA DRIVER!!!

The table breaks upon impact.

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Locus is out. Jubei turns onto his side and grabs his tailbone, wincing in pain. EMTs run towards the two World Title challengers and immediately check on them. EMTs also check on the other wrestlers (and managers) who are down on the other side of the ring.

Mike Clearwater: WHAT LENGTHS WILL THESE ATHLETES GO TO IN ORDER TO BECOME A PART OF ALPHA PRO WRESTLING’S FIRST CLASS OF CHAMPIONS?!?!

The camera scans over the injured wrestlers one more time.

Mike Clearwater: ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT, IT’S THE ALPHA SHOWDOWN, LIVE ON PAY-PER-VIEW! WHO WILL WALK AWAY WITH APW GOLD?! WE’LL FIND OUT!

The camera stays on Jubei and Locus as the show fades to black.
