Hello everybody, this is Mike Clearwater for Alpha Pro Wrestling. You’re currently looking at the MGM Grand hotel and casino, a mecha for big time boxing events over the last few years, but on July 22nd it's about to witness a fight event the world has never seen. All five, yes, FIVE belts will be on the line as Alpha Pro Wrestling rolls into town with a main event that will pitch the roster against each other, with a shot at the biggest prize in professional wrestling. The Alpha World Title!
We cut inside as cameras flash, an instant of bright flare against a canvas backdrop bearing the APW logo as we’re situated inside the Grand’s main hall on a raised dais. Journalists from every sports news outlets from around the world are gathered at the stage: ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Pro Wrestling Insider, Squared Circle News, to name a few. A table is set up with an array of microphones. The buzz of conversation dies as a hushed anticipation fills the room as Irina Ivanova (dressed to the nines) appears and takes her seat at the table.
Irina Ivanova: Thank you all for joining us here today. I’ve called this press conference to announce the confirmed card for Alpha Pro Wrestling's first-ever pay-per-view event -- Alpha Showdown! On Monday, July Twenty-Second, here at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada; every title will be on the line, including a tag team championship bout!
Camera flashes explode as APW finally announce the inclusion of Tag straps.
Irina Ivanova: The following matches are confirmed for the event.
Canadian Coalition will face the House of Sweetness to determine the first tag team to claim gold in Alpha Pro Wrestling!
Steven Osbourne and Lucy Sixx go head to head for the Junior Heavyweight Championship!
Trent Page, Nyeo Son, and Road Dawg slug it out for the rights to the North American Title!
Dean Wolf defends the Hardcore strap against not one, but two challengers -- Zombie McMorris and Spartan!

Alpha Showdown features a main event like no other! It's every man or woman for themselves as the rest of the Alpha roster will do battle for a guaranteed shot at an Alpha belt!
