Metal Super Card 2/8/21 (Complete)

The following is your main event, and it is a tables match for the APW World Tag Team Championship!


The lights in the arena turn off and in the total darkness, Arthan's theme plays. The lights slightly raise to a dim setting as smoke/fog machines begin blowing out smoke, and it billows around the staging entrance while a video plays above him on the giant screen. Red beams of light begin to shine upward from the grates and cover the entrance stage.


"Making his way to the ring from the dark hills of Transylvania, he sits at the Left side of the one called Baphomet. He weighs in at 215 pounds..."


Walking slowly through the lightly tinted Red smoke is Arthan with his Left hand stretched out before him. Walking towards the ring with his eyes focused ahead, his slow walk allows ample time for the commentary team to be heard by the viewing audience as well as the crowd to take in the video playing on the screen.


"This is The Dark Horse...ARTHAN ARDELEAN"!!



Reaching the ringside area, as if he was directing the lights, his outward stretched hand is placed on the ring steps. Wiping them as if to clear off something that was on them, Arthan steps up each step until he stops at the top step. His left hand has now turned into a raised hand. It's as if he was conducting the lights, the lights begin to slowly turn on fully. Placing his hands on the top and middle rope, he leans over and steps through the ropes and into the ring. In the ring, he backs into the nearest corner and sits down Indian-style as his music, looped or restarted by this time, fades away.



“Binge and Purge” by Clutch hits, and out from the back all painted up comes the Predator. Peering over the Japanese crowd, he storms to the ring joining his partner who is keeping an eye on him. Boos reign down as the Predator poses in the ring.



His partner from Birmingham, England. Weighing in at 202 pounds, the Predator!



Clearwater: It’s main event time here on Metal, and this is shaping up to be an all out war. The Left Hand earned this opportunity taking out Indie Rebellion last week.



St. Remi: Not only that, but they kicked their asses real hard both during and after the match.



Clearwater: That’s something else to contend with here. Last week Metal GM Masuda Jubei came out and made some...interesting comments.



St. Remi: He came out and laid down the law Mikey. He announced his authority, and made sure everyone here knew who is the boss.



Clearwater: Needless to say, our GM made this match and has challenged our top stars in a big way.



The lights dim before flashing red white and blue as American Trash by InnerPartySystem begins to play.

America Jackson makes his way out to the entranceway, holding his title proudly. He soaks in the boos, holding his arms out and embracing them.

America makes his way down the ramp, dismissing any fans who may get mouthy with him. He slides effortless into the ring, waiting for the beat to drop.



I'm just American Trash.



The song cuts.

The lights come up.

The champion stands in the ring.



Their opponents first from Glen Rose, Texas. Weighing in at 265 pounds, he is one half of the APW World Tag Team Champions and the APW North American Champion, America Jackson!



The lights go out as the opening notes of "Judas" by Fozzy plays. Very dim lighting hits the entrance revealing Damon Warrens sitting on his throne of thorns on stage. Beside the throne crouches Jaime Cortez with Damon's signature barbed wire baseball bat in hand. Atop his head sits a matching thorny black crown; his mouth covered by his signature frowning half mask. Red face paint streaks leave his pure white eyes like tears of blood. The Nitemare stands up and opens up his merlot red trench coat revealing the Alpha Pro Wrestling World Championship around his waist. The Devil Himself walks stoically to the ring with Jaime walking in front of him loudly singing the praises of the Nitemare to the crowd.



His partner, from San Diego California, by way of Toronto Canada, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the other half of the APW World Tag Team Champions and the APW World Champion...THE DEVIL HIMSELF DAMON WARRENS!"



Damon walks to the right side of the ring. Before he can slide onto the apron Jaime sets down the baseball bat and crouches in front of The Devil Himself. Damon pauses before stepping onto his boyfriend's back in order to climb to the ring apron. He turns to face the crowd before slowly entering through the ropes. Damon stands in the center of the ring and holds his arms out in a crucifix like pose. He tilts his head back and basks in the red light before reaching for his crown which he removes before giving it to Jaime for safe keeping. The Nitemare removes his jacket and mask and crouches in the corner his blank white eyes staring unnervingly in anticipation of the match.



Clearwater: The odd couple of Jackson and Warrens are once again up against it, but it’s hard to say they’re not prepared. They’ve handled all comers so far while holding the top two titles in the company.



St. Remi: Anything can happen in a tables match though Mikey. One false move, one bad judgement, and those tag titles can go bye bye.



Clearwater: That’s not wrong at all. This is a high risk match for both teams, where any mistake can cost them the victory.



St. Remi: And if I was a betting man, I think tonight is when the dream ends for the champions. Two unpredictable opponents who lack fear. They’re here to take the throne, and I think they will.



DING!



The bell rings and the crowd is hot, as the two teams stare each other down. Ardelean and Predator cast a glance at each other, and when they do Warrens and Jackson pounced. The much larger Jackson takes Predator, throwing him out of the ring while Warrens drills Ardelean with a fist to the jaw. Ardelean is rocked, as Warrens shoots them off into the ropes. Ardelean ducks a clotheslines, bounces off the opposite rope, and comes in with a dropkick to the chest of Warrens. He staggers, as Ardelean runs up the turnbuckle, walks the ropes, and takes off snapping a hurricanrana onto Warrens.



Meanwhile on the outside Jackson is all over Predator. He’s pressed up against the ringside barricade, with Jackson delivering knees to the chest with a rhythmic quality. Predator looks stunned, but is saved when his partner dives through the middle rope and smashes Jackson’s front into the railing. Jackson grimaces before turning around, Ardelean ducks a big punch from Jackson, before delivering a calf kick to Jackson. The smack rings throughout the arena, but doesn’t last as Jackson grabs and judo throws Ardelean to the ground. He hits the floor hard, wincing as his back connects. Jackson goes to follow up, but Predator is grabbing his leg keeping him from advancing. Refocusing his attention, Jackson jerks Predator to his feet but gets drilled by Ardelean as the double team begins. It doesn’t last long however, as Warrens comes roaring out of the ring and throws Predator off his partner.



Clearwater: This was expected to be a brawl and it has delivered big time. The smaller Left Hand have been flying around, trying to fight the size.



St. Remi: They’re giving it their all, but Warrens and Jackson keep reminding them why they’re the champs. They’re brawling.



Jackson and Warrens pull their opposite in opposite directions, as the quartet continue to swing on each other. Jackson grabs Ardelean, throwing him with a belly to belly suplex causing a rough landing on the floor. Going under the ring, Jackson pulls out the first table of the match and begins setting it up. He gets the legs unfolded and the table on its side, but before he gets any further Ardelean dropkicks Jackson forward. He goes ass over tea kettle, rolling forward as Ardelean steps over the half set up table to advance towards him. Jackson is back up though, and grabs Ardelean’s arm slinging him into the barricade. Ardelean leaps, landing on the barricade, AND GOES FOR A MOONSAULT! JACKSON CATCHES HIM! With a roar, Jackson runs Ardelean into the post drilling his shoulder into steel.



On the other side of the ring Predator is throwing hands with Warrens, but Warrens catches Predator with a wicked kick to the chest. Predator recoils, but is able to duck a high knee attempt. Warrens pulls up short, and Predator responds with a pele kick that catches Warrens on the side of the face. Warrens staggers, and Predator goes for the advantage with a running crossbody. He dives, but Warrens catches him in midair and shifts him vertically before locking in a sleeper hold. Predator jerks and struggles, but eventually goes limp and Warrens slings him down like a sack of potatoes.



Clearwater: The champions have turned the tide it appears, with Warrens and Jackson taking down their challengers.



St. Remi: But they haven’t even gotten a single table set up yet. They can’t win until one of them tastes wood, and they haven’t done it yet.



Warrens leaves Predator laying on the outside, before walking around to join his partner who is back to setting up the table. Warrens grabs Ardelean by his hair, but catches a fist to the solar plexus for his trouble. He responds with a clubbing blow across the back to Ardelean, who groans at connection. Jackson turns around to see the action unfold with the table now standing up. “You want this or?” he asks Warrens. “Why not together?” Warrens says with a sickly grin. Warrens drags Ardelean over to Jackson and the table, putting him between the two partners. The pair grab Ardelean by the legs, lifting him up high above the table for a super Spinebuster BUT FROM THE FAR TURNBUCKLE IN COMES PREDATOR WITH A FLIPPING SENTON! He hits the move on Ardelean, sending all four down to the floor in a giant pile.



Clearwater: Holy Hell, what a save from the Predator there! It looked like Ardelean was about to lose the match, but his partner with a huge save.



St. Remi: Look at that innovation and bravery. Only in APW are you getting something like that!



Predator is up to his feet first, flipping the table over on his side to mitigate the potential damage. That’s before he goes under the ring for a SECOND table, pulling it out and sliding it into the ring. Predator grabs Warrens, tossing him in after the furniture before going in after him. Warrens stumbles to his feet, as Predator sets up the table vertically in a corner of the ring. With Warrens up, Predator turns to him and delivers an uppercut. Turning him towards the table, Predator lands another jab on the jaw of Warrens which wobbles the legs. A standing dropkick from Warrens sends him back first against the table but not through. Predator bounces up, before backing up a few feet into the opposite corner. Snarling, Predator charges at full speed going for the CTE BUT WARRENS SNATCHES HIM OUT OF THE AIR AND THROWS HIM DOWN WITH A URANAGE! Predator’s landing shakes the mat as the fans clap for the show of strength. Infuriated, Warrens drags Predator by the arm to the middle of the ring before bringing him to his feet. Grabbing him, Warrens prepares to sling Predator towards the table BUT IN COMES ARDELEAN WITH A SPRINGBOARD CUTTER TO WARRENS! The pair crash to the mat, taking Predator who lands on top of Warrens with them. Ardelean is up first, rousing Predator and coordinating with him. The pair each take one of Warren’s arms, lifting him up from the mat. After a moment, they send him full speed towards the corner table BUT JACKSON GETS BACK IN THE RING TACKLING WARRENS BEFORE HE GETS TO THE TABLE! Jackson wraps his arms around Warrens about a foot before impact like a linebacker, saving the match for his team.



Clearwater: My goodness what a contest we have in front of us. This match almost ended three times, but each time a more impressive save than the next!



St. Remi: These teams are giving it their all, leaving nothing up to chance.



All four are back on their feet now, as the fans cheer for what they’ve seen so far. Each pair occupies one half of the ring, catching their breath. Jackson takes the chance to dump the corner table outside the ring; it snaps in two upon impact. With Jackson’s back turned, Ardelean and Predator seize the opportunity with a pair of dropkicks. Jackson falls out of the ring, with Predator in pursuit to the outside. Warrens meanwhile is scraping with Ardelean, before finally shoving him away getting some space. Ardelean undeterred comes back in BUT WARRENS CATCHES HIM WITH JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE TO THE FACE! Ardelean hits the deck, flying halfway across the ring. Sensing an opening, Warrens drags Ardelean over to the apron laying him on the edge. Warrens climbs out of the ring, putting the tipped over table back up on its legs. Before he can get back on the apron, Predator flies in and jumps on his back trying to lock in a sleeperhold. Warrens spins around, trying to throw Predator through the table but failing. Instead Warren flips Predator forward onto the apron, landing lower back and spine first onto the apron. Predator falls to the ground in visible pain, leaving Warrens free to retake his spot on the apron. Ardelean throws a couple kicks towards the knee of Warrens, but he dodges them. Instead Warrens grabs Ardelean by the throat with both hands, bringing him up to a vertical base. Warrens, still maintaining his grip, lifts Ardelean into the air…



AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT!



Clearwater: What the hell? Someone turn the lights back on!



St. Remi: I know Jubei paid the bills for this place, someone make sure the generators have gas or whatever. I can’t have my handsome face obscured by darkness.







The lights come back up. Warrens and Ardelean are still on the apron, but standing in the ring is a man wearing a motorcycle helmet and all black. Before the two competitors can react, he shoves them both off the apron and through the table together. The referee, yelling at the interloper, calls for the bell before walking over to ringside and explaining what his decision is.



Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve just been informed that this match is a no contest. Therefore STILL the APW World Tag Team Champions, Damon Warrens and America Jackson!



Clearwater: What just happened???



St. Remi: Chaos, that’s what.



Clearwater: The champions were about to retain, then the lights go out and that video runs just like we’ve seen as of late. Then this mystery man appears, and puts BOTH Warrens and Ardelean through a table.



St. Remi: I love the style, can’t lie. They showed up with a big impact, leaving nobody untouched.



Clearwater: There’s still a looming question though: Who the Hell IS this person?


Jackson re-enters the ring, confronting the man with a “What the hell are you doing?” Before he gets an answer, he catches a big spinebuster. The mystery man stomps on Jackson, delivering boots to the midsection. The fans boo the attack, but turn their attention up the aisle as a man with dark hair and glasses walks to ringside.



Clearwater: Hey, I recognize that person. That’s the man Jubei was meeting with earlier in the night. What’s HE doing here?



St. Remi: Well I’m guessing they’re tied together in some way Mikey. If you’ll shut up long enough I bet we will all find out.



The new arrival gets in the ring, joining the still unknown assailant.



Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Dr. Marcel Milgram. As you saw earlier tonight, I am in business with a very important man. A man who now has an iron clad contract here in APW, thanks to the kindness of your General Manager Masuda Jubei. A man that with my assistance, my leadership, and my boldness will reign atop this company for as long as we please.



Dr. Milgram turns to his client.



Dr. Milgram: Show them.



The man removes his helmet slowly, revealing himself to be…



Clearwater: OH MY GOD IT’S ZAIGON CARTER!!



St. Remi: HOLY SHIT! THIS IS AWESOME! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!



Clearwater: The former APW World Champion has returned after a stint in Action Wrestling, and look at the impact he made on his former partner tonight and the World Champion.



St. Remi: I’m so excited, the man has come back around.



Dr. Milgram: His return has been heralded, and now he is here. He is here for one reason, and one reason only: domination. One of the features of this new iron clad contract was a reward for loyalty, a token of our General Manager’s appreciation for Zaigon’s return. That means at Liberty or Death, it will be my client Zaigon Carter reclaiming his APW World Championship at the expense of Damon Warrens. Thank you all, goodnight.



Zaigon has rolled out of the ring, snatching the World Title from the timekeeper. He lifts his high above his head, standing over Warrens who is still down after going through the table.



Clearwater: A monumental way to end Metal. Zaigon Carter has return, and he’s in the main event for the World Title in two weeks.


St. Remi: This is incredible! Two of the greatest heavyweight champions in company history facing off is going to be a rocket buster.



Clearwater: Don’t forget folks, the last time Zaigon Carter was in Japan for APW he WON his World Title defeating Jason Ryan and our GM to do so in a bloodbath.



St. Remi: If I was Damon Warrens I’d feel very worried at the moment.
