We open to a panning shot of a small yet rowdy arena packed sardine tight with fans. They rise for applause as the camera cuts sharply to Mike and Remi at ringside.

Clearwater: Welcome to Monday Night Metal. The best and only full program on Netflix.

St. Remi: You know it, Mikey-boy! But hey, what a crazy show last week!

Clearwater: We're still feeling the tremors from that earthshattering event. No more so than the continued dominance of America Jackson and Demon Warrens.

St. Remi: Very true, but we can't overlook the sudden arrival of Chase Blackley. The kid was amazing from bell to bell.

Suddenly, the face of Metal GM Masuda Jubei cuts through their opening banter on the big screen. He look pleased yet equally as upset.

Jubei: Greetings... and welcome once more to Alpha Pro-Wrestling. We also want to thank the generosity of our local prefecture on such a warm reception. We will continue to run this company as I see fit. And it takes my vision, and likewise, your continued love of the best wrestling around the world. We are APW, and we aren't going anywhere.

That gets a reluctant cheer from the fans. Many, however, stave off praising the GM with crossed arms or impatient looks.

Jubei: Many of you paid for the best wrestling available today... except we being terrible news today, and it pains me to share it.

Clearwater: What could it be?

St. Remi: Hard telling with Masuda. He's capable of anything, bro!

Clearwater: And these fans know it. He's not going to pull a fast one on any of these diehards - that's for sure!

Jubei: It came to my attention this morning that one of our employees. A lowlife that's been on staff more month... he disobeyed our COVID protocols. That means one man is to blame for what I have to say tonight. Mr. Eric Armstrong went outside his approved "bubble" and may have contracted the virus. As such, I am forced to quarantine all of those were in contact with him. That includes every - single - champion on roster. His unique position means that you will not see Damon Warrens nor America Jackson tonight. That's it for bad news... because we have a solution in-studio where neither I nor my associates can access. You are seeing the trust principle going above its average value. Now every pays for his consequences.

Fans speculate as to what more the GM has to say, which by his statue, looks imperative to APW.

Jubei: We still have a big show tonight. And stay tuned because we have more big announcements coming soon. Now... enjoy the show.

Clearwater: Well, that won't go over well....

St. Remi: Yeah, but we still have a lot of prime talent. Including a big Number One Contendership for the APW Tag Team Titles!

Clearwater: And I'm hearing this now... we will have APW's own Dani Applegate with an interview of year.

St. Remi: What?

Clearwater: From the GM's desk: We will have an exclusive interview with both Damon Warrens and America Jackson via Zoom. What a moment for Alpha Pro-Wreslting!

St. Remi: So sit back and hold onto your squatty potties, Metal starts now!

The lights go out as the opening piano to “Zombie” starts. As the bridge starts, Chase steps out. He holds his head down. At the chorus he looks up, eyes glazed over from his mental issues, hits himself in the head and slowly makes his way down to the ring.

Making his way to the ring from New Orleans, Louisiana. Weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the Boogeyman..Chase Blackley!

Clearwater: Chase Blackley looking to go on a winning streak here, after a successful debut on 2021 Ways to Die over the Bane. He does that again, and he’ll have a Strong Style title shot in his pocket.

St. Remi: That was beginner’s luck, he’ll never be able to do it again.

The slow hiss of fog machines kicking on fills the arena, with a haze beginning to form. Lights flash all around, creating a spectacle. After a few moments, out steps Harvey Marx resplendent in a bright blue tuxedo. He throws loose playing cards into the audience as he prances to the ring with a flourish.

His opponent, from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Weighing in at 450 pounds, Harvey Marx!

Clearwater: Speaking of 2021 Ways to Die, we got our first glimpse of Harvey Marx there too in what was a...strange appearance. Leah Lincoln has her work cut out for her no matter what.

St. Remi: Oh you just don’t like fun Mikey. I love this guy, look at him! He’s awesome!

Ding!

Blackley remains in the corner, looking a bit out of it still. Marx has yet to get into the ring, as he’s still signing autographs and taking selfies at ringside. Once completed, Marx rolls into the ring and looks at his opponent. “Aha!” Marx says with aplomb “Come here son!” Blackley, cautious, strides over to Marx who pulls out a deck of cards. “Pick a card young man,” Marx says while fanning out the deck.

Clearwater: Is he...doing a card trick in the middle of the match?

St. Remi: This is awesome! Where else can you get this but APW!

Blackley snatches one of the cards out of the deck. “Great, now show it to the audience behind you so they know what it is!” Marx exclaims. Blackley waves it over his shoulder, before sliding it back into the pack. Marx does a few shuffles of the cards, before cutting them in a random place. “Is this your card?” Marx asks, but before he shows Blackley the card Marx slugs him in the jaw with the deck hand. The cards go flying around the ring as Marx lands more shots, backing Blackley into the corner as he covers up.

Clearwater: It was a dirty trick, Marx just wanted to get the drop on Blackley. What a no good rotten jerk.

St. Remi: Protect yourself at all times, not Marx’s fault that Blackley is two pieces short of a full bucket. He just took advantage of the situation.

Blackley looks dazed in the corner, as Marx retreats three fourths of the ring length back away. “It’s time for me to make this bozo disappear!” he exclaims, before taking off at a dead run. Blackley snaps to somehow, and himself charges out of the corner HITTING THE WORLD DESTROYER ON MARX! Blackley’s knee smashes into the chin of Marx at full speed, staggering the behemoth. Blackley looks fully engaged now, slipping behind Marx and struggling to lock in Zombified. Marx flails his large arms as Blackley tries to get his arms locked around the robust torso of his opponent. Despite the rebellion, Blackley gets the dragon sleeper locked in. He cranks back on it with all his might, straining with great effort. Eventually they both crash to the mat, with Blackley maintaining the hold. The referee checks Marx, who himself is now glassy eyed and calls for the bell.

Here is your winner via submission, “The Boogeyman” Chase Blackley!

Clearwater: What a comeback there from Chase Blackley, able to stun his much larger opponent and sink in Zombified for a big time victory.

St. Remi: Marx wasted too much time, he should have cut the shenanigans and finished off his opponent.

Clearwater: I thought you liked him?

St. Remi: When he was winning!

Clearwater: Well anyway, next week it’s Chase Blackley vs Sky Edwards for the Strong Style title here on Metal. What a match that is shaping up to be!

The bell rings and the two competitors lock up. Pressing in for a break, DC facewashes Zeke and gets a thumb to the eye in the doing! The ref doesn’t see it, but Zeke recoils backward leaving him wide open for a Superkick!

Clearwater: DEVIL’S KARMA!

Remi: Daniel Christopher has used some dirty tactics to maybe put this away early!

Zeke rolls with the momentum, nearly falling out of the ring. DC goes for a cover but his foot is hanging below the bottom rope, leaving the ref refusing to make a count. Frustrated, DC begins to lay in punches to the forehead. He drags Zeke back toward the center of the ring and tries to drag him back to his feet but Zeke swipes at him with a hand to try and create distance. DC gives him a wicked right in response but if anything, it puts a little more stability under the preacher’s legs. He throws wild haymakers, looking to either catch DC or force him back but DC takes them on the chin and responds with a wicked knee lift to the ribs!

Remi: Zeke is still recovering from a grueling world title match. How much you think he’s got in the tank for this?

Clearwater: Having been caught off the top like that, may not be enough.

DC keeps laying the pressure on, hitting nasty body blows one after the other. He runs the ropes…but Zeke catches him with an Uranage! This time it’s DC rolling to safety, landing on his feet on the outside of the ring. Zeke looks to follow and try to keep his momentum going. He slides out of the ring…but in his haste, he misses DC tugging on the apron! Zeke is trapped between ring and apron as DC begins absolutely beating on him! Blood begins to gush from the face of Zeke as the camera angle turns and just barely catches DC holding a fork between his fingers!

Remi: OH MY GOD!

Clearwater: The creative sickness of Daniel Christopher immediately turning this match into a bloodbath! The ref should call it!

Remi: The ref can’t *see* it! If the camera man hadn’t moved, I wouldn’t have seen it either!

DC keeps beating on Zeke until the man is collapsed in a bloody heap with only the ring apron to hold him. As the ref hits nine, DC rolls back inside, raising a bloody hand as he’s declared the winner by count out. There's a hush over the audience as he has left even the veteran announcing corps stunned with only his theme to play out the violent monster leaving to the back.

Clearwater: Alpha... Pro-Wrestling... we cannot vouch for the sadistic violence on display this evening. All we know is this man is on a mission.

Remi: Yeah. A mission.

Clearwater: Metal will return after this.

Clearwater: Welcome back to Metal, and before we get this next bout started, we have breaking news!

St. Remi: That’s right, Mokey-bot, this is straight from the desk of Jubei himself.

Clearwater: In three weeks, Alpha Pro-Wrestling will invade the Hiroshima Green Center for another night to remember…

Clearwater: And more to come as we see arguably two hottest names in wrestling today continue their godlike streaks.

St. Remi: Liberty, oh, liberty… how shall we die?

Clearwater: So set those reminders because Liberty or Death comes to Feb 22 in Hiroshima… only on Netflix.

“Therapy Session” by NF roars at the ramp, but as Felicity emerges from the back, The Bane spears her from behind. He then then tries to go for a kick to the skull, but Felicity rolls out of the way.

Clearwater: What the hell! Someone get them in the ring!

St. Remi: The monster had his wings clipped in Sapporo! Now he’s trying to claw back into the limelight!

Clearwater: Mason defending herself against a cheap shot!

St. Remi: Bro… that’s so Jason Ryan.

The Bane inflicts another spear, but this time, both roll down the ramp towards the ring. Officials get involved, pushing them apart until both parties can be corralled into the ring. Felicity gets inside first, while the calculating monster of The Bane demands a small army of refs to get into proper place. He sneers through that demonic mask to an unmoving challenger.

Ding!

St. Remi: And now we can star this mess of right—whoa bro!

Clearwater: Head scissors from Mason! She just wiped that smirk off Ryan’s face!

St. Remi: That monster isn’t fooling anyone anymore!

Clearwater: Maybe—Bane grabs her by the throat! This looks bad!

He throws Mason to the ground and hits the ropes. He misses another straight-on kick to the head; however, he makes a second pass and connects with a superkick that has Felicity stumbling into the corner. Ryan powers through with a flying forearm. He then tries to set her on the padding.

Clearwater: The punishment envisioned by this man, what a terrible thing!

St. Remi: Bane. Ryan. He’s always going to go for the worst thing imaginable, bro.

Clearwater: Mason kicked him away!

St. Remi: Moonsault! And that wiped them both out, bro!

Felicity and Bane lie opposite one another until a surge gets Felicity back to her feet. She hits the ropes and DDT’s The Bane before he stand on two feet.

The Bane throws her off to one side, but he’s looking hurt.

Clearwater: She almost put the last nail in that coffin.

St. Remi: Oh man, she’s going to work on Jason Ryan.

Clearwater: Accepted fact or not… The Bane is still one of the most dangerous men on this roster.

St. Remi: True, but, Felicity has weathered the best competition APW can throw at our people. She’s battle-hardened while Ryan is still shaking off rust.

The Bane slips out of back clutch and turns that into a sloppy, angry lariat. Mason gets up eats leather sole with a big boot off the ropes. He then powers her into a powerslam to set up something by the turnbuckle. Determined to make use of the turnbuckle, Jason Ryan makes an ascent to the middle rope and awaits his opponent.

Clearwater: Superman punch!

St. Remi: Oh wow! Did you see that!

Clearwater: Mason the Whiplash! Ryan is rocked hard!

He takes the hit like a stubborn tree wobbling to one side before falling facedown on the canvas. Mason grabs the legs, threatening the figure-4 to a huge pop from the crowd. As she does, by the miracle of our great sport, the possum act pulls her into a small package roll up.

Clearwater: The Bane almost stole it!

St. Remi: That’s so Ryan…
Clearwater: And what a huge swing in momentum! Ryan is still looking hurt though.

St. Remi: Yeah, but now he’s in Felicity’s head. And no doubt she’s watching him extra hard now.

Clearwater: Mason has him set up for another of DDT’s that worked so well before.

St. Remi: Crowd loving this effort. Or maybe their hatred of The Bane.

Clearwater: He has that effect on people—no!

The Bane gets a knee into the midsection and follows with huge elbow. Felicity takes it on the chin yet drops to one knee. Ryan open hands a flurry of punches before the ref tells him to loosen up. He then uses the ropes once more for momentum and shoulder blocks Mason to the canvas.

Clearwater: Not close enough. But he’s making a point to wear Mason down.

St. Remi: Yeah, and it begins to work on you too. Seeing a count that many times gets like…

Clearwater: Disheartening?

St. Remi: No, bro. It feels totally hopeless.

The Bane sets her on like a target once more and aims another of those jaw breaking superkicks.

Clearwater: I don’t think I can watch!

St. Remi: Come on, Ryan. You’ve made your point!

He goes in for the Pink Eye kick when a sudden move to the left sees him snap into a drop toehold. She then takes advantage and falls over, locking on a Figure-4.

St. Remi: Lights Out!

Clearwater: Ryan’s tapping! This one is over!

St. Remi: Felicity defies odds once more!

Jessica Kaine: And your winner… Felicity Ann Mason!

Clearwater: She came, saw and conquered.

St. Remi: Just as she said she would, bro. Believers will fight until their dreams come true.

Clearwater: And the name Felicity Ann Mason continues to rise. We’ll be right back.

We open to a backstage set with some LED backlighting, the best APW has to offer for the one and only Dani Applegate. She comes into frame in a purple dress reminiscent of a Red-Carpet event and a stack of papers for her discerning audience.

Dani Applegate: Greetings, and welcome to our first Talk Metal of the new year. It has been a cycle of renewal, one after another in Alpha Pro-Wrestling. One thing, however, remained the same throughout it all: our fans. You have stuck with us through it all to this point. 2020 is over like a bad taste of blood in our mouths. Today will be different. Tonight, I assure you will be the first of many new changes for the better. And what better way to introduce a new world of challenges than by making history once more.

Two additional windows open via Zoom above her wide screen: To her right is the reigning APW World Champion, Damon Warrens w/ both his titles on display. Jaime sits confidently out of frame on what appears to be the couch of some upscale hotel suite. Both have a business casual look. The adjacent frame has America Jackson in his workout gear, having just come off a workout session. He also has both the North American Title and his half of the APW Tag Team Titles.

Dani Applegate: Gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight.

Both champions nod with respect.

Dani Applegate: This must be an interesting time for APW talent. With all the changes, how are you managing expectations?

Damon: Honestly Dani…. I find the best way to manage expectations in this company … is to simply have as few expectations as possible. Adaptability is what has gotten me this far.. It will continue to carry me forward.

America Jackson: If there's one thing I know about APW, it's that things move fast. I won this title in the Budokan. End of the day, crowds change and the locations too but the wrestling's still wrestling.

Dani Applegate: I find most are coping with the move as best as possible. We had to leave many stars behind due to Visas and other travel complications. But all that said, how are you adjusting to a new life in Japan?

America Jackson: I'm still back and forth a lot. Got someone back home and a whole business to run there so I'm spending a lot of time in the air while I get stuff in order. It's not my first choice but I still have at least one big fight I gotta hang around for.

Damon: I’m about the same. With a husband and son back home I’m constantly bouncing between home and here. Japan is great, a rich wrestling history here, but regardless of where we are the sights and country aren’t my focus. I don’t care if we’re in America, my home country of Canada, or Japan...fact is all the matters to me is getting to go out there, fight against the best, and work my way through every challenge until I can get to the one battle that’s being dangled in front of my face.

Dani Applegate: That so refreshing that you can keep a level of intensity but still maintain your competitive for one another. I know fans would rather see the two of you kill each other. But that’s a fan perspective. How do you maintain the balance between respect and competition?

America Jackson: You gotta understand that we want the same thing. This is a fight the both of us are itching to have because we've both seen something in the other that's familiar. That we respect.

Damon: I think that’s where there’s this disconnect with us and some of our critics. America is absolutely right. We are both adamant that this fight needs to happen. I can’t say enough that I see America as one of the best the company has had and one of the best I’ve shared a ring with ever. If you look at our histories this is the biggest match APW could ever have. Are we Team Best Friends? No. But we are a team based off of respect and an absolute desire to face the toughest competition.

America Jackson: Something management can't seem to get through their thick skulls.

Dani Applegate: All right. All right… maybe there’s still room to improve—

Damon: No no no Dani. With all due respect I think your focus is a little off. You question our competitiveness, but why not question the companies refusal to let us display that competitiveness and respect for each other out in that ring.

Dani Applegate: True, but it seems that you’re not worried about the matchup as much as you—and not to put words in your mouths—distrust the new management. Care to add anything to that?

Damon: Can I ask a very fair question Dani? Why would I not distrust management in this company? Look at my history with management in APW. Irina made a point of screwing myself and Smith Jones out of the tag team tournament ahead of our World Championship match. Dante tried to pull a fast one on me by bringing in Corey Bull to try and knock me down a peg. Now we have Jubei…. Who is trying to find every distraction… every roadblock he can in order to delay the inevitable.

America Jackson: I was robbed of the World Title in September. It's been four months and still I haven't got the rematch I rightfully deserve. Jason Ryan was back five minutes and I gave him his shot, no problem. Here I got the champ ready and willing for three months to sign off on it...management is doing what? Because they're afraid I'll lock down every bit of gold in this place. Because they're afraid of what happens when the two best they've had finally face off.

Dani Applegate: In lieu of dissenting the company itself, let’s just focus on that one point: Neither of you feel your place as champions has seen the level of appreciation deserved. Especially with the continued success both of you have maintained over the last six months.

Damon: Of course we have been under appreciated! America is the longest reigning North American Champion and a former World Champion. I’m the most successful World Champion in APW. Two reigns Dani and both of them are the top two longest reigns as World Champion. Current singles and tag team champions. The accolades speak for themselves. We’ve both dominated this roster. We’ve beaten Jason Ryan countless times. We’ve beaten rejects from other companies fast tracked to our belts. We’ve both beaten Andrew Barn- … we’ve both wrestled against top talent like Andrew Barnes.

America Jackson: We've come out on top more often than not. Both of us have lost a title match that we shouldn't have. Both of us know the cost of slipping. I think you can see from our resumes since that we're both the types not to slip anymore. We're the best in the world and that only leaves one place for us to go. But Jubei just like everyone else keeps standing in the way of what needs to be done.

Dani Applegate: All right. All right… I can see there are more problems on the surface that even our most devoted fans might have missed. We thank you for—

Dani Applegate: Someone check on that. We’ve lost feed… can anyone find out who or what that was. This is talk—

Her live feed breaks out once more to a static test screen. We then cut back to Remi and Mike at ringside looking confused as to what just happened. Fans share audibly in their surprise.

St. Remi: Hey! You’re back!

Clearwater: Of course, don’t scare the viewers like that!

St. Remi: And why shouldn’t they be back? We are about to kick off the first of many trials for the APW Tag Team Titles!

Clearwater: Two hungry teams with the bloodlust to get the job done!

St. Remi: Smaller lines or less coffee bro—but yeah, this is going to change the future of APW, for sure!

Indie Rebellion enters the stage as the drum intro begins. They sneer at the crowd, with resounding boos. The fist bump and begin their walk to the ring, Laurens cracking his knuckles and neck. Martinez goads the crowd on the way down the ramp.

Jessica Kaine: Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 339 pounds. The team of Mason Martinez and Christian Laurens, INDIE REBELLION!

Clearwater: Indie Rebellion held the titles for some time. Yet their run was nothing compared to the Man Made Gods last year, and now by America and Warrens.

St. Remi: The American Warriors?

Clearwater: War on America?

St. Remi: No… god no!

Clearwater: Whatever you want to call them. They are as untouchable as Football on Sunday primetime. But you have to imagine Indie Rebellion is tried of the talk.

St. Remi: Winning the titles back will change everything for these kids.

Clearwater: More bumps in the road for a team that has spent month either in the doghouse with GM Jubei, or off the show due to injuries. Maybe 2021 is their prime to return.

St. Remi: Look at them, so much youth and energy… What a day to be young!

The two stop at the foot of the ramp, focusing on the match ahead as they slide in the ring. They settle into their corner, playing rochambeau* to decide who starts. As Christian Laurens takes the start, the lights lower. And when they return, both members of the Left Hand are staring daggers into them.

St. Remi: Buh! Where’d they come from!

Clearwater: Did anybody see them come down here?

St. Remi: I don’t know, bro… if I were those Rebellion boys, I’d be worried.

Arthan Ardelean enters from the steps as his partner enters the ring in an athletic manner.
Jessica Kaine: And their opponents… weighing a combined 217 pounds… the are the Left Hand!

Fans boo as Arthan takes to the ring first with the springy spirit of Sky Edwards leaning over the ropes. Martinez shouts some scouting notes to his partner as the bell rings.

Clearwater: Laurens off the bat with back body drop!

St. Remi: Arthan walked right into that one, bro!

Arthan Ardelean wipes his mouth and gets up cautiously. Christian tries to hear something from his tag partner when a knee trembler knocks him onto all-fours. He looks up to see Arthan charging in for an elbow smash.

Clearwater: Not even two!

St. Remi: Yeah, but he’s setting the tone, bro. Arthan wants the Rebellion to know they mean business.

Clearwater: Mind games, sure, but these are former tag team champions. They’ve seen it all.

St. Remi: And beaten the likes of VBS and others of note. And they just—Laurens slips behind!

He takes the sudden momentum to shove Arthan into his team’s corner. Chest-first into turnbuckle, Ardelean backs away into a big elbow.

Clearwater: Laurens making the tag!

St. Remi: And here comes Martinez! He’s got a full head of steam!

Indie Rebellion lands a couple coordinated strikes before finishing their team flurry with a high and low dropkick.

St. Remi: And they go from decks!

Clearwater: The teamwork on display—maybe it’s the Left Hand that needs to change!

St. Remi: Maybe… and Mason Martinez whips him into the corner!

Martinez hits a clothesline and immediately follows that with a leaping bulldog.

Clearwater: Saved at the last moment by Edwards!

St. Remi: And now Silk has to separate these teams—do your job you hack!
Eddie Silk struggles to get the parties back into their corners, when Arthan reaches from his boot and hides a foreign object in his palm. Silk has back turned it the offense. Clearwater: Arthan bounces off the ropes! What a slap!

After slapping the taste out of Martinez’s mouth, he grabs each arm of his seated opponent and lines up a dead-on knee strike. Arthan gives a battle roar before nailing that on-the-money strike.

St. Remi: Oh ho! Bro!

Clearwater: Edwards just cleared the ropes and hit a moonsault on the retreating Christian Laurens!

Fans loved that homage to the great Hayabusa, even if it came from someone they’re coming to despise. Meanwhile, Arthan takes Martinez up into the corner to inflict some body work. All that capitulates with a big knife edge chop that hushes the entire arena.

Clearwater: What a shot. This guy is not pulling a punch.

St. Remi: Nor play fair either. I mean, we all saw that weapon, amirite?

Clearwater: Absolutely, and now he’s working this one to the ground. What could he wants here?

Martinez gets a moment of reprieve when a set of hands pull him out of the ring. He stabilizes to see his partner looking pleased with himself. That’s when Arthan baseball slides into the unguarded back of Christian Lauens. This causes both men to topple into each other.

Sky Edwards stays true to his name with a corkscrew body attack that wipes them both out hard. He then slides Martinez into the ring. Arthan clubs him down until his partner is available in their corner.

Clearwater: He’s ruthless!

A flourish of punches has Mason Martinez seeing stars. Arthan goes to the side as his partner, and now the legal man, Sky Edwards set up a tag maneuver their own. Arthan hammerthrows their opponent into waiting arm of Edwards so that he hit a ripcord clothesline.

Clearwater: Decapitation!

St. Remi: And one more move for good measure!

Arthan followed the big lariat with an over the ropes, rolling tope attack on the downed Martinez.

St. Remi: He’s resilient.

Fans boo this turn of events as Sky Edwards signals to the top rope. He makes a heroic climb wearing the villain’s black cape, and in an instant, hits a beautifully tucked shooting star press on the helpless Martinez.

He approaches the GM of Metal, both for confirmation and as if surviving a concussing shot.

Jubei: Okay—fine! Take them out for good. Then, next week, you’ll face our esteemed Tag Champions on a ground of your choosing.

Edwards, though not a man of the popular opinion, listens to the vox populi as if caught between bids on the Price Is Right. That’s Arthan pulls him aside for a tete-a-tete.

Clearwater: How can they decide upon these young men’s careers? They have no right!

St. Remi: Bro, seriously, when did you go all white knight on me?

Clearwater: I’m not a blind cuckhold to a proper fight… but can’t we have some standards.

St. Remi: Listen to the people. They agree with you—and they love Indie Rebellion.
Jubei gives them a physical count of 5… 4… 3…

Se: Wait! Wait!

Edwards groans as he sets and hits a defenseless Mason Martinez with a pop-up cutter. Arthan follows suit with a powerbomb lungblower to Christian Laurens.

Se: There! Now give us the Tag Champions!

Jubei: Next week. Your name the game and they will defend. Failure to do so will act as a contractually bound loss. Now, get out of my ring.

They exit, leaving the GM with the fallen Indie Rebellion. Boos sour into a low whimper as Masuda eyes the former Tag Champions.

Jubei: Funny now, boys? My payback is worse than, as you Americans so crassly say—“a bitch!”—but no one cares about that. No, you see, there was no COVID-19 in the locker room. Nor was there a PA named Armstrong, or whatever fake name I gave him. Yet it served its purpose. You see… everyone can put on the right face IF they have time to prepare.

Boos grow louder.

Jubei: I am not responsible for what happen to your precious Indie Rebellion. They sought to usurp me from the picture and cause a mutiny. And where did that get you? Hmm?

Boos some get even louder.

Jubei: Yet here I am with the same situation: glorified champions whose reign begins to melt their brains. They forget who is the one charge. This is my show now. And if you want to survive and be on MY program, then you will recognize only one master… ME!

Clearwater: I just don’t believe he’d stoop so low.

St. Remi: Bro, this Jubei. Not some banana republic dictator. That’s the Master!

Clearwater: Still—this is not the Metal we signed up for!

St. Remi: No… no it isn’t.

Fans share their sentiment and let the GM have it. Jubei doesn’t flinch.

Jubei: That interview proves it all. I will cull you two to your leashes whether you like it or not. Damon. America Jackson. No one is above the Master… and next week, you’ll wish you never signed that dotted line.

Clearwater: This is just downright—a complete travesty of the sport and all this wrestling!
St. Remi: If not now, when? Jubei was always going to control the world this way. You can’t stop him. Not a soul on this planet that can.
