”I did as I said I would and I became the number one contender. In the heat of winning I didn’t realize that I caused my opponents to ask out of their contracts. What’s wrong loves? Couldn’t take the heat?”
Lexi Hill laughs as she skips through a Sakura forest. She has thoroughly enjoyed her visit to Japan but now was the time to focus on America Jackson and Felicity Ann Mason.
”I am not very happy with the management of this place. I earned a shot at America Jackson. Felicity Ann Mason, and the voices within her head, lost a match to America and is rewarded with a title shot? Does this business value losing now?”
Lexi stops cocking her head to the side as she looks into the camera.
”I have been here for a bit now and I just don’t get the appeal of Felicity. She isn’t anything special in the ring. She is a step above a jobber and yet she is handed all kinds of pushes. How many times must she lose to America before upper management realizes that the failed cliche of a vampire girl turned goodie two shoes is simply not championship material. She is a walking timebomb who is about to explode. What is going to happen when her brain explodes from all of the voices talking at once, huh? Felicity you do not belong anywhere near me. You need not even come out to the match and let me and America, the real contenders, settle it.”
Lexi snaps her fingers as she speaks again.
”In this business everything can change in an instant. What was up, could now become down. What was good, could now become wrong. What was a challenger, could now become meaningless. It is 2021 and there is no way that you are going to to mean anything to anyone. I am going to bury you and finally put you out of your misery. I will end your career and do us all a service on my way to the North American Championship.”
Lexi laughs as she stands up and paces her room a bit. She sees an American flag at half mast outside her window. Her mouth twists to an evil smirk.
”America, your reign of tyranny as the North American Champion is quickly approaching it’s end. No one is less deserving of a title than you. You have done nothing but continuously ride the coattails of Damon Warrens. You broke away and won the world title and then what happened? You faded back into the midcard. You went with the road of least resistance. You thought you had it made in the shade. Then, I defeated two mountain men in Famine and Leon and you realized you would be defending your title against me. Did you clutch it tighter every night since then? Have you held it near and dear to your heart? Did you kiss it just to ensure it still loved you? Newsflash, it doesn’t. No one and nothing lasts forever and when I take the title from you, I hope you remember these words. I hope you remember that it was I who saw your fate and I who sealed it. I am releasing you of the burden of being the North American Champion. Maybe, just like in 2020, you can go on to have the most forgettable World Title reign of 2021. Maybe it isn’t new year, new me. Maybe it is new year, same sad and pathetic America. You don’t know how to handle success and it shows. I am a rookie and my name is already being thrown around as the star of the year in Alpha Pro. I am going to start the year off right, by winning gold. I didn’t come all this way to get thrown around by a has been and a never was. I didn’t come here to falter. I came here to completely change the company for the better and when I knocked down the twin towers, I began my ascent to greatness. You think I am going to let two walking cliches stop that?”
Lexi smiles as she walks a bit more and has a seat back on her bed. She pulls her hair back in a ponytail as she looks into the camera.
”I may be a spoiled little rich girl. I get that. I want you to know that I am so much more than that. I can get down and dirty. I haven’t had to much in my life but I fucking can. Are you both listening to me? Are you trying to push me aside and not allow me to shine? I sure to God hope not. I sure hope you all see me as the true challenger I am. I hope you all see that I am capable of ending careers. I already ended two in this company. Might as well just call me Estrella Luiz with how I am making people rage quit the whole fucking business. I am going to make you both regret stepping into the ring with me. I will make you both suffer. Neither of you will be able to climb the hill… all the while I will climb the mountain and become the new North American Champion!”
Lexi looks right into the camera again as she laughs.
”I said from day one that I would not take anyone lightly in this company but I expected the same respect when I stepped into the ring. I am still being overlooked and it will be the downfall for Felicity and America this week at 2021 Ways to Die. I will show you two of the 2021 Ways to Die in that match. I have many weapons at my disposal and I am not afraid to use them. My daddy handed me everything in life and this week the management of Alpha Pro will be handing me a championship.
You see, they knew they needed a champion they could be proud of. A champion who loves this business like I do. I went from being a fan of John Rabid, Bonnie Blue, and Johnny Fly, to being the one who is looked up to. I may be less than five feet five inches but I am larger than life in spirit, baby! I am going to use that spirit to bring home my title. I will not stop until I make it so.”
Lexi’s phone rings. She smiles as she answers it.
”Hey daddy!.”
She puts her phone on speaker.
”Hey princess. Did you get the check I sent for your car down payment?”
Lexi smiles as she holds her keys up to the camera.
”Yes daddy, I did. I will have to show you the new car I got. It is far better than the one I came here in. After this week you can rest assured that your little princess will be taking care of you for the next century.”
Lexi’s father coughs a bit.
”With this damned disease, I don’t know about centuries Princess. I will, however, value what time we have left.”
Lexi’s voice changes, a little less cheery.
”We are going to get through this daddy. We have to. I can’t lose you, ever! I am going to make a lot of money and get you the best Doctors possible. We will get many more years out of this.”
Her father coughs again.
”I sure hope so, Princess. I sure hope so. I love you. I got to go. I love you.”
Lexi tears up a little bit.
”I love you, daddy.”
She hangs up the phone. She looks into the camera.
”Since I came into this company all I have heard is that I am a spoiled little daddy’s girl. You are damn right I am. I am, however, wrestling for more than just me. My dad has lung cancer and is on a donor list. We worry everyday that it will be his last. He is a fighter and he is why I am a fighter too. I am here to succeed but I am doing it for my biggest fan. I am doing it so my daddy can have a few more years on this planet. He is the reason I will become the North American Champion. Now that you have had a look into my life, I want you both to look at your own lives and see what you are truly here for. If you are here for anything other than a family or confidence reason, then get the fuck out now. If you think you are going to stop me from helping daddy out… get the fuck out of here!”
Lexi rolls her eyes as the scene fades to black.
