Cameras pan the sizeable crowd live from Greensboro, South Carolina as the Monday Night Metal opens to a somber note. The entire roster has gathered at the stage. A few have on lavender t-shirts sporting a phrase patented by Harvey Berlin: "Raza-ma-f******-tazz!"

We then move to Mike Clearwater and Jonah St. Remington from ringside looking more or less the same as the near silent crowd.

Clearwater: Alpha faithful... it's with heavy hearts that we open 2021. As many of you may have seen across social media this morning. Beloved anarchist and pariah of the sport, as well as trailblazing athlete for LGBT rights... there's just no easy way to drop this news. But to those unaware, we lost the great Harvey Berlin this morning.

Remi: Look. Many of the kids of there only know him as "Uncle Harvey" during his brief albeit awesome time here in APW. But really, he was one of the good ones. I cannot, as a former kid that laced his boots hoping to be a fraction of the man he was in sport, tell you how much this one stings. For those hurting, we feel you. We truly do.

Clearwater: Now... as the time honored tradition states. We shall honor Harvey Berlin with a tolling of the bells.

The bell tolls ceremoniously in long, droning tolls. Some of the talent look upset, but most keep their composure. A shot of Clearwater and Remi holding back tears. When the 9th tolls, the entire arena feels on edge for the final release, when suddenly there's a pause. Cameras pan quickly to the austere shape of Masuda Jubei in a black suit. He has the ring hammer in hand. Fans begin to boo as he continues to hijack the final toll.

Jubei: Harvey Berlin is gone. And with his void I feel we can finally begin a new era of Alpha Pro-Wrestling.

Boos grow as Jubei walks into the ring with the hammer swinging in his free hand. He gets to the ring's empty center with the spotlights zooming to his spot in the center. There, in all his deceitful energy, Masuda throws the hammer across the ring.

Jubei: I walked out of this tiny airport into a miniature disgrace posing as a metropolis. What did I see but the heart of an America lost on its deep-fried laurels. I took in the sight, only then to realize this wasn't a layover or refuel, but in fact my destination. Greensboro - yes, boo me! - I don't care. Boo me for ruining the ceremony of man whom none of you even knew outside of our young company. Harvey Berlin prided himself on being a part of Stone Wall. That's a good stance in the modern side. But wrestling is not modern. It's an aging art and a sport of gentlemen's agreements dating back a century and a half. Men like Mr. Berlin accepted their role. They accepted that one day you will die alone and unknown. Today I come before you in, knee-deep in the mud of Greensboro to announce that I am fed up with places like this. That wholesome American stench. Also, your impossible need to stay at least 15 years behind the learning curve.

He pauses for effect and to let the fans boo even louder.

Jubei: Cry. I don't care. Because you don't deserve APW. We deserve better, and it's about time I do what should have been in the works months ago. I, as acting owner in place of the absent Adam Dante, am taking this promotion where it belongs. January 25th, our world is about the change again. This time... APW presents 2021 Ways to Die live from Sapporo! And there we will stay until you Americans can get your world together. We're not going to wait for this country to catch up... I'm taking our talents to Japan... now, Rodney, give Harvey his final toll!

The last, ominous toll sounds with a mixed of cheers and boos. We cut from the ring and GM Masuda looking quite pleased to the opening theme.

"Sexy Bond" Gold Finger Vs. Oni

Gold Finger took his namesake by working the crowd with special attention for female spectators.

Oni debuted a new look, cosplaying as negasonic teenage warhead with short purple hair, provided some pop as she entered to a big pop.

The match got off to a big start when she hit a sunset flip into a jackknife pin. It was a very near fall—one “the Sexy Bond” might have broke free of earlier had he not been enthralled by his position—followed a strong style beat down.

The Tigress held control of the match flow until Gold Finger managed to escape from a corner strike. He then hit a schoolboy pin for a quick count.

Gold Finger slid out of the ring and got a round of high fives from men leaning over the barricade.

Oni tried but missed her mark on corkscrew body assault over the third rope when she wiped out both competitors. She, however successful on the hit, also went headfirst into the barricade.

Gold Finger struggled to lift and roll her into ring, barely rolling into the ring himself before the 10-count struck.

This left Remi to declare him: “the luckiest man in the ring tonight.”

Mike Clearwater wrapped up by saying: “On this night of transitions… the new look Gold Finger looks poised for competition and might be the next big name we’re not talking about.

Gold Finger gave a little show from the stage like Elvis wearing Sean Connery's dinner jacket.

Meanwhile, EMTs checked on the still stunned Oni after her bad tumble. Fans clapped as she walked to the back under her own power.

Backstage Segment / Mystery Segment

We go backstage where Gold Finger is sitting on a table and talking to women from the local college basketball team that had practice mere hours before the show.

Cameras pass that scene to where a door loudly slams shut. Cameras seek out the noise only to see the door to an office with "Masuda Jubei, GM" in bold lettering.

The camera operator tries to open the door and finds it locked. Second later, Masuda appears in the doorway in his backstage gear of athletic gear featuring his old "Masuda Corporation logo" and matching hat. Jubei sneers into the camera before slamming the door shut.

Locks on the other side loudly snap back into place with murmur of shouting voice on the other side.

At that moment, a screen is heard down the corridor. The "Sexy Bond" runs by the camera with a mob of 6-plus female athletes giving chase. His grin catches the camera.

All that noise leads us into a hard cut back to the arena at ringside with a view of the Alpha-tron:

Dark, nightmarish clouds part as the scene open to a non-descript building.

Inside lies a headless body shown wearing a bloody Adelaide Annsworth T-shirt.

Some has smeared the phrase “REVENGE IS MINE” all over it.

On the floor next to it is a Hanuman mask as the video camera fades out to black.

Fans cheer in bewilderment at this astounding development. It pans back to ringside with St. Remi and Mike Clearwater looking dumbfound as well.

John Blade Vs. Jamo

John Blade made his return to the ring in 2021 with a big pop, handing out merch with almost everyone in the front row getting a souvenir to take home.

Jamo brought a different energy as the crowd shied back from his new no-nonsense energy.

John Blade welcomed him into the ring, but as he went for a handshake, Jamo unloaded heavy rights.

Mike Clearwater remarked on how poorly that began even though the fans seemed to enjoy the unpredictable action.

Remi noted John Blade’s insistence for sportsmanship would be his undoing as Jamo proved he was in it to win the whole damn thing.

John took advantage midway with flashes of power and finesse, leapfrogging multiple times before connecting with a shoulder block that saw him go perpendicular to the canvas.

Jamo escaped a near fall after falling fist drop stunned him something fierce. Jamo then avoided a powerbomb and went behind for a backstabber.

He then reduced Blade to a gasps with muay thai clutched knees. He then went on to hit a DDT for good measure.

Blade reversed the dragon sleeper attempt into an STF. Jamo resisted until he could grab the bottom rope.

Remi called this tension, “Harder than Hasselhoff,” when the two got into an exchange of blows.

Jamo avoided another runner shoulder block before cutting John Blade down with the Contract Killed.

Jamo then scored an unpopular pin fall over beloved superstar John Blade.

Clearwater dubbed him “the new-and-improved Jamo” as he left to the back.

John Blade exited shortly thereafter to a big applause from his diehard fan base.

Remi called him “the champion of the people” albeit from a sulking place of defeat.

John Blade, however, remained APW's greatest pillar of dignity and respect.

Alex Scott Segment

[We open up Alex Scott sitting on a chair, the surroundings around him is all black and a spotlight is shinning down on Alex Scott. Alex who is wearing all black clothing.]

“So here we are right? The first show of the New Year and we are in 2021. 2020 has been a very fucked up year. Within APW and the world in general. Outside of wrestling the world is dealing with a virus that was unprecedented and has destroyed businesses, families and the economy. Within APW suffered a year like nothing ever. From people in charge running the shows into the ground and then we have talent not really giving a fuck and leaving whenever it didn’t go their way. They didn’t show loyalty to APW. But I have. I have shown complete loyalty to APW and will remain loyal to APW. 2021 is definitely going to be a different year for me in APW.”

[Alex pauses]

“I’ve come to realise something over the last few months and I’ve been shouting it out but nobody is really listening to me. They’ve all got their eyes on something or someone else. But that’s okay. Because this year in 2021 ALL EYES WILL BE ON ME. The thing that I’ve come to realize is that....you people.”

{Alex points into the camera]

“You people in the audience and the entire APW Company is lucky to have me. I have been saying the truth all along since day one of my arrival that my words are true and that I am the future of APW. That not only am I a champion that you need but I am an instant gold-mine. Inside the ring and on the mic I am one of the best. And in 2021 I will prove it.”

[Alex leans back in his chair]

“I will begin to prove it at the Supercard show this week. I will begin to prove it and everyone will be watching.”

[Alex pauses]

“And when you’re watching me become the very best and you have your jaws dropped down in sheer shock. Just know I’ve been telling the truth. Just know that I have told you all so since day one and just know that I will not stop my success in APW. And APW is lucky to have me.”

[Alex pauses]

“So APW faithful fans this is your wakeup call and when you witness it. Just know I told you all.”

We cut back to the arena at ringside.

Alex Scott Vs. Umeji

Umeji came out to a ruckus with his samurai-inspired rock theme. Fans remembering the veteran from his days in Japan greeted him warmly on his debut to APW.

Remi surmised his career in America as, “The best damn wrestler no one ever saw.”

The mood shifted when a new-look Alex Scott burst onto the stage. Clearwater and Remi both remarked about his heightened sense of urgency going into this new wrestle season. He took the ring to booing from the Alpha faithful but never lifted his hoodie to meet them.

Umeji cracked into the match with an impressive set of quick takedowns. He then hit a flipping dropkick before Scott countered that into a T-bone suplex and pin.

Near falls after several huge suplexes threatened to make an example of the 20-plus year veteran.

Clearwater called this a “changing of the guard” while Scott ripped any hopes of a comeback with his power game.

A botched missile dropkick allowed Alex Scott to surge into the final pole position with a superkick that had Umeji seeing stars.

He then floated right into “The Answer” for a final cover.

Alex Scott rose triumphant to booing fan, but he just seemed to soak it all in, with Remi calling him “the kind of bastard only a mother could love,” among other things.

His reception soured without consequence as “The All-Day Superstar” walked off with a big win to start 2021.

Arthan Ardelean Vs. "The Predator" Sky Edwards Vs. Feclicity Ann Mason Vs. Leah Lincoln

“Therapy Session” by NF hits the Alpha-tron with the distressed visage of Felicity Ann Mason emerging from the back. She makes a primal scream on her way down the ramp.

Clearwater: And we’re back for what’s been a turning page for APW.

St. Remi: Forget about that one, bro. How about Felicity turning a page? She’s come some big strides to get here.

Clearwater: Very true, but wins can be hard to come in this business.

St. Remi: She’s faced and beaten many of the best this company has to offer. She might just be the one to watch tonight.

The lights in the arena turn off and in the total darkness, Arthan's theme plays. The lights slightly raise to a dim setting as smoke/fog machines begin blowing out smoke, and it billows around the staging entrance while a video plays above him on the giant screen. Red beams of light begin to shine upward from the grates and cover the entrance stage.

"Making his way to the ring from the dark hills of Transylvania, he sits at the Left side of the one called Baphomet. He weighs in at Two-Hundred and Fifteen (215 lbs.) pounds..."

Walking slowly through the lightly tinted Red smoke is Arthan with his Left hand stretched out before him. Walking towards the ring with his eyes focused ahead, his slow walk allows ample time for the commentary team to be heard by the viewing audience as well as the crowd to take in the video playing on the screen.

"This is The Dark Horse...ARTHAN ARDELEAN"!!

Reaching the ringside area, as if he was directing the lights, his outward stretched hand is placed on the ring steps. Wiping them as if to clear off something that was on them, Arthan steps up each step until he stops at the top step. His Left hand has now turned into a raised hand. It's as if he was conducting the lights, the lights begin to slowly turn on fully. Placing his hands on the top and middle rope, he leans over and steps through the ropes and into the ring. In the ring, he backs into the nearest corner and sits down Indian-style as his music, looped or restarted by this time, fades away.

Clearwater: And there’s one of the newest faces looking to define APW. He’s already getting a bit of a cult following.

St. Remi: Yeah, bro, fans might disagree with his methods. But outsiders will love this guy!

Clearwater: Look at him—there’s a cloud of darkness overtaking the ring. And it’s all thanks to that man!

“The Red” by Chevelle plays out the biggest unknown in this match when the wiry yet formidable frame of sky Edwards emerges with an air of assured cockiness.

Clearwater: Look at this kid. It’s like he already knows the stage.

St. Remi: Kid? That’s a man whether you acknowledge it or not, bro. Edwards is no slouch. I’ve see his ability to shrink the ring. There’ almost nowhere out of his athletic range—and that’s a fact!

Clearwater: But can he hope to keep pace with… and there she is! This match about to get wild!

“Singing in the Swamp” starts to play as Leah waks onto the stage. She takes in the moments and walks slowly to the ring looking to both sides. Once at the ring she rolls in and goes to a corner watching her hungry, coveting opponents drooling over the title wrapped over her shoulder.

Clearwater: This is going to get ugly and in the worst way!

St. Remi: She’s surrendering that belt, but let’s not forget. That man Sky Edwards earned a shot at her title.

Clearwater: Absolutely, in what’s primed to be a dark horse for match of the night!

St. Remi: No doubt!

A bell tolls getting Edwards and Arthan to go at each other with strikes and kicks. Felicity hunkers by the ropes until she can chop block Edwards. Arthan Ardelean goes behind, and taking her from the canvas, deadlifts her into a spot-on saito suplex. Sky Edwards takes that moment to attack with a series of chops that quiet Arthan and the indeed, the audience as well.

Clearwater: Uh oh! The Strong Style Champion has seen enough!

St. Remi: And here she comes! Get your blocks up, yesh!

Clearwater: Some clever footwork, and the champ has everyone off their feet!

After a series of lightweight moves, Leah Lincoln is able to wrestle free and lay claim to the ring. She does so with a gaining smirk, one unlike any of her cohorts can handle. Sky Edwards and Arthan Ardelean attack from two sides and hit a double hip toss. Each one follows up with variation of a leaping elbow before an immediate rupture of their alliance.

Clearwater: Look out!

St. Remi: Felicity from the apron—and she takes out Arthan with a crossbody!

Clearwater: No! He rolls in over with the smaller Mason going for a ride!

St. Remi: Roll up! Arthan missed the sunset flip!

Sky Edwards breaks up the pin with a soaring forearm. He then delivers one more to the downed Arthan Ardelean for good measure. He sets up a stunned Felicity Ann Mason with a chop combination. She strikes back with a couple big lefts. Edwards ducks her a heavy fist, and with wrist control, swings her around for a ripcord clothesline.

St. Remi: Oh no! Decapitation!

Clearwater: He almost certainly did after that impact!

St. Remi: Leah Lincoln from behind—what a lariat!

Blindsided—and almost knocked clean out—the strike renders Edwards to one knee. Arthan gets back to his feet and runs face-first into a yakuza kick from the Strong Style Champion. She lets out a war cry before gator rolling the downed Felicity Ann Mason into position for a deadlift german suplex and bridging pin.

Clearwater: Felicity gabbed the ropes in time!

St. Remi: Leah is damn good, bro. But all of these competitors are pushing her to the limit tonight. Seeing with that sloppy pin.

Clearwater: It didn’t look “sloppy” to me.

St. Remi: Ring awareness is a veteran trait. Leah has it, but she needs to retake control before those larger athletes find a way to take her down, Mikey-boy.

Arthan and Edwards collide in a flash of strong style elbows until they clinch only inches from each other, laying down judicious fury. Ardelean takes one shot too many, which allows Edwards to hits the far rope and clothesline him over the ropes. Felicity undercuts Leah’s route to Edwards, which prevents the back attack. She hits her “Whiplash” jawbreaker but the sturdy and stubborn energy of the Strong Style Champion powers her just enough to hit a European uppercut.

Clearwater: That took everything she had! Leah with such a dramatic strike!

St. Remi: The Champ is down! And Felicity is dead on her feet!

Clearwater: Playing right into Sky Edwards’s hand—Birmingham Buster!

St. Remi: Oh no!

Jessica Kaine: And your winner… “The Predator” Sky Edwards!

Clearwater: And what a statement for this young talent.

St. Remi: His stock is soaring, bro!

The match has finished and Leah Lincoln is the only competitor still left in the ring. Both Arthan and Sky are on the outside around the ring, meanwhile Felicity has wandered to the top of the entranceway. Once Arthan has gotten back to his feet, he grabs a steel chair from ringside and climbs the steps to stare down Leah. Leah braces herself, refusing to back down from Arthan.

Suddenly, the lights go out in the arena. A red light begins to pulse through the arena, as Dark Evil Trap Beat by Ritual begins to play over the PA. The flashing happens slowly at first but picks up speed and begins blinking rapidly before suddenly stopping. In the darkness, the music fades out. The fans begin to cheer, wondering what is going on. Suddenly the house lights flash back on and Arthan stands in one corner of the ring; across from him stands Sky Edwards, now painted up and morphed into The Predator.

Leah is trapped in the middle of the two men, and in perfect synchronization both The Predator and Arthan raise their left hands.

Clearwater: OH MY GOD! IS THIS THE LEFT HAND!?!

St. Remi: I believe it is. And they mean business, bro!

Leah charges at Arthan, and Arthan swings wildly with the chair but Leah ducks under and turns immediately throwing haymakers are Arthan. Arthan staggers back a bit, but The Predator charges in with thrusting drop kick that sends Leah flying into the corner. Leah hits hard and stumbles out a bit, and as she comes out Arthan smashes her over the head with the chair.

Leah crumbles to the mat and The Predator and Arthan look at each other and raise their left hands. The Predator gives an evil smile and Arthan nods his head. The Predator quickly climbs to the top rope and Arthan lays the chair over Leah’s head and holds it there. The Predator leaps off the top rope with Prey Upon (double foot stomp).

Leah lays lifeless as the red light fills the arena once more and Dark Evil Trap Beat by Ritual begins to play over the PA again. The Predator and Arthan raise their left hands as we cut from the ring.

"Daisy" begins playing as a lime green spotlight settles on the stage.

"You don't wanna see me bratty
Pet the kitty, call me catty
Make your man call me daddy
He talk too much, he's too chatty (yeah cool)
Ceo, I'm savvy
Respect a bitch, I'm a maverick
Flexible, so elastic
But don't you dare bend a bitch backwards"

Lexi Hill appears in the spotlight as the fans boo. She skips lightly toward the ring stopping every so often to offer her ring on her hand for the fans to kiss.

"Fuck a princess, I'm a king
Bow down and kiss on my ring
Being a bitch is my kink
What the fuck else did you think?
Fuck a princess, I'm a king
Bow down and kiss on my ring
It's gonna hurt, it'll sting
Spitting your blood in the sink"

She slides in the ring as she throws her hands in the air. The fans boos get louder as the chorus plays.

"I'm crazy, but you like that
I bite back, daisies on your nightstand
Never forget, I blossom in the moonlight
Screw eyes, glacial with the blue ice
I'm terrifying"

The music stops as Lexi sits on the turnbuckle and awaits her opponents.

Clearwater: Lexi is one of many names to reach meteoric heights in her first month of competition. And here comes her partner, a man also rising to the top of this company in such short amount of time!

The distorted riffs of Weak Spots ring through the arena as the lights begin to darken and fog fills the entrance tunnel. As the vocals drop the titantron flashes white and purple with the words 'KAYBY HALE CASSIDY'. Penetrating through the fog, Kayby Hale Cassidy walks backward onto the stage being led by his manager.

Jessica Kaine: From the Centre of the Damn Universe in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 90 kilograms. Accompanied to the ring by Taylor Made, Ms. Arden Taylor; he is the Better Than You-ligan, Kayby Hale Cassidy!

As Jessica Kaine announces them, Taylor leans in toward Cassidy's face and kisses him on the cheek. Immediately, he whips around, seemingly energized by the young lady's kiss. Cheating to the camera, Cassidy brushes off his abs and fixes his hair as he walks down the ramp. Cassidy slides under the bottom rope while Arden uses the steps to enter the ring. Once more, cheating to the camera they mimic the pose from the stage.

St. Remi: I love Kayby. He’s got moxey like no one else on this roster!

Clearwater: Really? I wouldn’t have guessed that one.

St. Remi: Oh stop it, Michael, you know that Hale Cassidy is my kind of wrestler.

Clearwater: Like seeing a mirror.

St. Remi: Sure, why not! But it can’t take away all the success this kid has achieved in such a short time.

“Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you.
And you. And youuuuuuuuu.
I hate your friends and they hate me too.”

Hot Girl Bummer by Blackbear plays as America Jackson comes out on the entrance ramp. He shrugs off any boos he receives, making his way down to the ring as the song heats up. America Jackson stands in the entranceway with his head down looking amped to all hell. His two belts adorn both shoulders with enough luster to pierce through what’s otherwise inky blackness.

Clearwater: Now we’re cooking with fire!

St. Remi: These guys really hit a chord with the Alpha-faithful! Listen to them booing their hearts out, Mikey!

Clearwater: This place is shaking! I hope the coliseum doesn’t come down!

St. Remi: Greensboro wasn’t ready for APW! And really—who is!

The lights go out as the opening notes of "Judas" by Fozzy plays. Very dim lighting hits the entrance revealing Damon Warrens sitting on his throne of thorns on stage. Beside the throne crouches Jaime Cortez with Damon's signature barbed wire baseball bat in hand. Atop his head sits a matching thorny black crown; his mouth covered by his signature frowning half mask. Red face paint streaks leave his pure white eyes like tears of blood. The Nitemare stands up and opens up his merlot red trench coat revealing the Alpha Pro Wrestling World Championship around his waist. The Devil Himself walks stoically to the ring with Jaime walking in front of him loudly singing the praises of the Nitemare to the crowd.

Jessica Kaine: And their opponents… weighing a combined 500 pounds… they are your reigning APW Tag Team Champions… America “America Jackson” Jackson and “The Devil Himself” Damon Warrens.

Damon walks to the right side of the ring. Before he can slide onto the apron Jaime sets down the baseball bat and crouches in front of The Devil Himself. Damon pauses before stepping onto his boyfriend's back in order to climb to the ring apron. He turns to face the crowd before slowly entering through the ropes. Damon stands in the center of the ring and holds his arms out in a crucifix like pose. He tilts his head back and basks in the red light before reaching for his crown which he removes before giving it to Jaime for safe keeping. The Nitemare removes his jacket and mask and crouches in the corner his blank white eyes staring unnervingly in anticipation of the match. America Jackson enters the ring under less pomp or showiness, yet he makes his presence known across the ring.

Clearwater: This is dynamite! But how long before it explodes and all hell breaks loose?

St. Remi: If I know these competitors, there’s nothing that can hold Kayby and Lexi back. But those are your champions, people!

Clearwater: They have honor and pride at stake here—and there’s no measuring stick for that folks. This one will be decided in the sands.

The bell sounds with America Jackson and Hale Cassidy raging into a lockup. Kayby’s enthusiasm gets the better of him, allowing the North American Champion to work him into a kneeling chinlock. Hale throws their weight so that America hits the ropes. He counters with a back body drop that Jackson makes with a soaring flip and full 360 before landing on his chest. Jackson sit up and eats a sliding dropkick for good measure.

Clearwater: Chase Utley Rule! He’s trying to win in the opening minutes!

St. Remi: Settle Kayby. You got their attention! Go for the legs!

Kayby goes to one leg, but America is able to wrestle him down into a mounted guard. He tries to score an armbar, but the long frame of Hale Cassidy allows him to slide a foot under the ropes.

Clearwater: Kayby on his feet. And he’s going to tag in Lexi Hill!

St. Remi: Lexi slips to his side! Head scissors—like a goddamn pro!

Clearwater: America recovering… is he, smiling?

St. Remi: That’s called respect, Mikey-boy. You wouldn’t get it even if I told you.

Lexi avoids a hip toss counter and takes Jackson down with a drop toehold. She then tries for a suplex, but the weighty resistance of America Jackson breaks free. He then dips behind her and readies a German suplex. That’s when Damon Warrens enters to the greatest boos of the night. He tags himself into the bought, catching the german suplex in his legs to complete a frankensteiner from the middle ropes. America flees as referee Eddie Silk starts the count.

St. Remi: Kayby saves it!

Clearwater: What a fantastic move by the champions though!

St. Remi: Yeah, way to capitalize on their strengths.

Lexi crawls to the ropes when America grabs one leg for a step-over toehold. She nearly hugs the ropes before the World Champion can lock on the hold.

St. Remi: Great awareness by Lexi Hill. That could have been debilitating!

Clearwater: And you can’t loose a step with these guys. They will capitalize on every mistake.

Damon says a few words to Jaime, seemingly enjoying the moment before bringing a set of mudhole stomps to the downed Lexi Hill. He then winds up for soccer kick to her compromised person, when out of nowhere, Lexi rolls him over into a calf crusher.

St. Remi: Wow! Great move by the new girl!

Clearwater: Lexi has been the kind of spark this roster needs. And she’s not afraid of the big stage either.

St. Remi: No doubt!

Damon suffers through the hold a bit before kicking his way out of the hold. He hobbles over and makes a disgusted tag into America Jackson. Lexi has since reached the ring’s center when Jackson tries to scoop her off the canvas. When he does, a hidden leg kick low blows him. America’s brow line flushes a deep red while Lexi Hill tags in her partner.

St. Remi: Jackson and Cassidy once more! Let’s go!

Clearwater: Big rights from one hot commodity to another! This is getting intense!

Kaybe throws Jackson into the ropes and hits a powerslam. The North American Champion slithers free before a pinning attempt. Cassidy then engages his valet Arden Taylor for a photo opt.

Clearwater: What’s he doing?

St. Remi: Needs those “likes” Michael. Don’t you get today’s youth?

Clearwater: I’m clearly lost.

St. Remi: Jackson isn’t dead yet! Look out Kayby!

Hale Cassidy makes an impassioned attempt to counter the raging blonde from his six o’clock, but America pulls him into series of back elbows to keep him in place. Once in control, America hits the “America First” slam mere seconds before Damon and Lexi make their impassioned moves into the ring.

St. Remi: Lexi get there first!

Clearwater: Looks like that calf crusher is still affecting the World Champ. He barely got there in time!

St. Remi: And here we go again!

A fight breaks out until the regular incompetence of Eddie Silk finally overcomes the insurrection. Both part momentarily with The Devil reentering the fray. Lexi Hill meets him looking as confident as ever. The limp hampers his stride, but strength allows the Champ to get the better of their initial lockup.

Clearwater: This is going the way of the tag champions.

St. Remi: Lexi can’t fight this way. It’s not a battle she’s made to win, she needs to diversify, bro.

Clearwater: Ooh! How about those leg kicks!

St. Remi: Yeah—maybe now!

Lexi hobbles him to one leg, and then goes for that jawbreaker once more. Having watched his partner fall victim to that sudden move, however, Damon Warrens reacts by throwing her forward.

St. Remi: Warrens saw that one a mile away!

Clearwater: He goes behind!

St. Remi: Nile Terror!

The cutter to the knee leaves them in shock as Warrens looks to Jaime, announcing his finish, all whilst keeping a firm hold of Lexi Hill. Fans boo as the Nitemare delves back into that dark, decrepit place few ever dare go. Hale Cassidy cheers for his partner in the most hapless place one can be, seemingly miles away when Damon sets up and hits “Mercy Killing” for a twisting neckbreaker that sprawls out Lexi.

America manages to capture suplex Kayby mid-flight so that he rolls under the ropes.

Jessica Kaine: And your winners… America Jackson and Damon Warrens!

Hale Cassidy and Ms. Taylor leave disgusted while Kayby rubs his neck. They exchange a few words with the reigning tag champs now gathering in the middle of the ring. Jaime even gets in the action by throwing shade at the exiting Kayby and co.

Clearwater: Well, that was one explosive finish.

St. Remi: Damn straight! I am out of juice, bro.

Clearwater: Is there anyone that can stop these men?

St. Remi: There’s no left for them mountain to climb in APW! They ARE the mountain!

Kayby is about to leave when a figure in a black hoodie hops the barricade brandishing a steel chair. Neither man sees him before America Jackson takes a full on shot to the back of the head. Jaime screams as the attacker unveils himself.

Clearwater: It’s Brother Zeke! The man to challenge him for the World Title in Sapporo!

St. Remi: And he’s fresher than hell, bro! Get outta there Jaime!

Warrens shields his lover before attempting to disarm his assailant. America Rolls to the outside with his face covered. Damon manages to throws the chair down and then hip toss Zeke across the ring into a defensive stance. Then he picks up the chair, slamming it on the canvas as a display of dominance.

St. Remi: Well that didn’t go to plan!

Clearwater: Someone get security in there!

St. Remi: Oh damn!

Clearwater: Superkick from Brother Zeke! Warrens is busted open!

Damon tries to maintain his balance, but that last hit—including that taxing match, one that left to just one good leg—sees the World Champion fall seated into the nearest turnbuckle. He can only watch as Zeke tries to grab the belt soon to be pitted between them in two weeks.

Clearwater: Jaime protecting the belt. This could be a problem.

St. Remi: Drop the gold, bro! He’s going to kill you!

Brother Zeke wags a finger. Jaime makes a spirited swing of that heavy lump of leather and gold, yet Zeke just shoves him to the ground in front of Damon Warrens. He then lifts and inspects the APW World Title under his nose. He takes a long smell of that championship gold before holding it over his head.

Zeke shouts, “I will end your myth! I will end the Devil! See you in Sapporo!”

He then throws the belt so that lands in front of Damon and the crumpled Jaime leaning against his man. Zeke exits to a mixed reaction with a small portion of the crowd actually getting behind him. Brother Zeke passes Jubei and the security with a last minute gesticulation for the Alpha-faithful.

Clearwater: There you have it, folks. And what a message from the challenger, Remi!

St. Remi: I never thought I’d see someone outsmart the Devil… but there’s always time for a first in this business, bro.

Clearwater: And with that we say good night from Greensboro. Thanks for being Alphas. We’ll see you again in two weeks when those two men fight for the rite in all of APW. We’ll see in two weeks in Sapporo, Japan. Good night and stay safe out there!

Fade to black and then the APW credits.
