[The scene opens up and we are staring onto a City. Skyscrapers can be seen from every angle. As we seem to be on a balcony. A few seconds later Alex Scott enters on screen. Alex who is wearing a well-tailored black suit with claret buttoned shirt. Alex places his hands on the safety hand-rail.]
“Just over a week ago now my chance at becoming the Strong Style champion disappeared this time of the year. Just over a week ago Leah Lincoln beat me to retain that strong style championship. But that was then and this is now and were so close to this horrible fucking year ending and the start of 2021 beginning. But before we get to 2021 Alpha Pro Wrestling will hold a Holiday special show. A show that will be for the most of us a scramble match. And with this scramble match comes surprise after surprise because not everyone has been announced and a few new faces will debut. But most importantly the surprise at the end is intriguing because nobody actually knows what it is.”
[Alex pauses]
“The surprise will be announced after when I win the scramble match. And yes I will win it. Even though I hate scramble matches with a vengeance I’ve been adaptable to them in recent times. I know that everyone is on their own and when the dust settles it’s only one person to stand tall. Well it’s only damn right that the person who will stand tall will be me I mean after the year I’ve had. To end 2020 with that prize in my hands will be a glorious ending of this fucked up year that is 2020.”
[Alex smiles]
“But I know this is going to be a tough match as I’ve said we have new faces arriving in APW. Sky Edwards has signed on the dotted line. Skye has travelled across the pond in hopes of making it big. And maybe he’ll achieve something in 2021 but it’s not going to be at Holiday Special. Not any new faces are going to walk into the APW ring and take my spot. All your dreams are going to be scrambled the second you get to go face-to-face with me.”
[Alex pauses]
“First impressions are always important that’s a fact and Skye Edwards your first impressions are going to be falling flat on your ass outside of the ring and watching me claim that win. Watching me receive the surprise is gonna’ hit you hard like a tonne of bricks but soon after reality will sink in that APW is my world. And I’ll send you back across the pond sooner rather than later.”
[Alex pauses]
“Then we have is Arthan Ardelean another new face who thinks he can step into APW and grab that surprise. But Arthan you talk about being lit by fire and that what drives you. Fire can be a good motivation. It can be a good drive for most but it you haven’t been paying attention to what’s going on in APW or what has been going on in APW. Then you haven’t done your homework. Which is bad for you.“
[Alex smiles]
“You see in APW this entire year has been on fire and have had problems within. The only thing APW needs is to have is me end the year with THAT prize in my hands because it’s what I deserve and I have EARNED. Arthan Ardelean the flame is already out of hand here in APW but when claim that prize those flames will die down into ashes and I will set APW into bigger and brighter lights into 2021 than ever before.”
[Alex smiles]
“Arthan Ardelean nobody is going to bow at your feet here in APW so get that out of you head. And it’s not going to be easy as you may think, it’s a lot of hard work and I can see your just all talk. Be prepared to fail at the first step because you will. You will fail at the Holiday special show because it’s destined that I will win. It’s destiny for me to take that prize and head into 2021 with not just that prize but hope.”
[Alex pauses]
“You see at this Holiday spectacular show I’m going to round of the year as a winner and there isn’t anyone that can stop me, just know that.”
[Scene ends]
