Leah is shown sitting in a parking lot on a car with her Strong Style Title over her shoulder. It is raining a little as Leah takes in the moment.
How do we change things when the same thing keeps happening. Alex, how are you gonna stop me from making you look bad again. From the first match to the second all I have done is make you look like a fool. Every word you have spoken has been filled with false promises and your ego being beaten down. You feel that because you once were good that you always have been good. Yet you have struggled against a woman who is brand new here, twice. If you really think about it I have become your greatest weakness. Two matches and both times you have looked lost and confused. Now I will not say it is because I am a woman because you made it clear that you did not care about that. You cared about a title that is now around my waist. I took that glory of being the last Junior Champion away from you. You were only good until I arrived on the scene. Then I took your glory of becoming the first Strongstyle champion away from you also. In one night I went past you and proved my worth as you sunk to the bottom of the pool. It really must suck to be so close to something but some far away at the same time. I really do feel bad for you and I will say this. You were the best in your division and you always will be told that you were. I will not take that away from you because it is the truth.
Leah hops off the trunk and opens it to show the Junior Heavyweight Title. She picks it up and looks at it for a minute then puts it down and closes the trunk.
You made this division relevant with your hard work and determination. The only falter in your wake is overlooking the details. As dominant as you were, you still had weaknesses that were easily seen. Think about it like this, in MMA if someone can not strike the opponent usually will keep the fight standing to frustrate their opponent. If you can not wrestle then you get taken down. It's about exploiting that weakness or many weaknesses. You never worked on certain aspects of your game that were weak. You felt that as long as you were winning that you were ok to keep doing the same things over and over. The problem with that is when you let things fall to the wayside you lose track of reality. That reality finally caught up with you Alex and now you are the challenger and forever will be known as the challenger until you fix your issues. I will be kind to you and give you a few things to work on. Now I know that I do not need to, as you are more than capable of figuring out what to fix. Yet i am gonna do it because you have yet to fix your issues.
Leah turns around and grabs her Strong Style Title and props it over her shoulder.
I want you at your peak best so that when i defeat you there will be no talking of how i am not on your level. That seems to be your statement concerning me. You said for the first match i was not on your level yet at the end i was still standing. At the PPV you claimed I was not on your level again and I defeated you and others to become something you're not a champion. You might say how is that a weakness but your lack of knowledge about an opponent is what makes you in the position you are this week. You refused to see anyone as a threat to you. If you want to beat me you gotta study me and gain knowledge. This would be a breeze for most but you yet can not make it a reality. That would lead to my next point and I will leave it as this. You are a very lazy worker and I knew this before we first wrestled. I watched many videos of you and all I saw was some guy who worked an easy style because he was a little more experienced than most of his opponents but also you just never tried to stick out as being heads above the rest. When I first started wrestling I was told to stick to something good. I never went into a match thinking I can coast because I have more experience than someone. I always made myself be seen as something more than some women trying to wrestle. I used my chances to become better and not someone who relies on someone else to make me look good. Alex you will not look good because of me. You will do something you probably haven't done in a long time. You will actually earn it.
Leah smirks and takes in the moment once more as the rain drips down her face.
I am making sure that this win is the biggest so far. If i was thinking i would win, i would be like you and excuse what you have done or claim your win was lucky. Your win was earned as was mine. I do not plan to overlook you or anyone. I will not become complacent and believe I am better than everyone because I am not. I am better than letting myself believe I am the king of a division. This title here is what this is about for me and Alex if you want it then your chance comes soon.
Alex welcome to the killing field.
Leah raises the Strong Style Title as a clap of thunder rings out. She smiles then walks off as the scene ends.
