A full moon, darkness cascading over the mountains and the trees, our main protagonist stands at the edge of the cliff looking into the darkness. Surrounded but tall trees and the sounds of the creatures of the night scurrying about. Floating near our protagonist is a ghost like creature named Bargus. One of the many creatures that come and go as The Demon King walks the earth. Bargus floats next to him and begins to speak as our camera pans in.
“Did you hear that?”
Famine: Hear what?
“Some girl you’re supposed to be facing called you out, called you names, said you were an old man.”
Famine: So?
“So aren’t you going to put her in her place? This is what you do isn’t it? The Demon King takes shit from no one.”
Famine: Do you really think I give a shit what some insignificant child has to say about me? She is insignificant and I’m already two steps ahead. She and Leon Roberts just need to pray to whatever God they believe in before getting in that ring.
“You’re seriously not going to say anything to her? I mean Leon is one thing but this child seems to think she’s going to beat you both!”
Famine: What do you want me to say Bargus? Do you understand how irrelevant she is? I’ve heard this rhetoric way too many times over the course of my career. There is no point in responding to the same old drivel over and over again. The name calling, the name dropping, the “I’m the best what you see is what you get” nonsense. I thought I’d be facing better opponents than this.
“They need to be destroyed and put in their place! We did not come back to take shit from anyone! We can to conquer!”
Famine: Bargus, Sun Tzu said If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles. I am not worried. The focus is the same as it always has been. Get to the top of the mountain and leave a trail of bodies along the way. I will not be deterred by anyone looking to make a name for themselves at my expense. You know what’s happened to those who have tried so why are you being so fucking annoying?
“Because these humans annoy me! Because you are The Demon King! Famine of the Vile!”
Famine: Yes I am. And you should know what my silence and lack of response means. You should know that when I am done talking and have nothing left to say, people get hurt. They bleed. They suffer!
“I know this! I can’t wait for Monday night to see you tear through those two like a hot blade through a skull.”
Famine: Exactly. So calm down and go scare the shit out of some kids. I’ll just stand here for a bit longer to focus.
“Oooooh! Excellent. Time to go play!”
The camera pans left as Bargus disappears into the darkness. Famine continues to stare off into the darkness as our scene fades to black
The Vile One
As I told Bargus earlier, I am not going to waste my time responding at this point. I’ve made myself clear and the time for talking is over. It’s time for action. It’s time to see who’s talked the talk and who will actually walk the walk. I didn’t come out of retirement to prove anything to anyone but myself. So all the name dropping and name calling doesn’t mean a damn thing to me. Words are one thing, but backing them up is a completely different story. Once you walk down that ramp and into that ring the only thing left to do is show the fans and the rest of the world that you can do what you can you can. The questions is….can you?
You see, I’ve been here before. New company, new opponents, new challenges and new championships to win. I’ve gone from the very bottom of the roster to the top of the mountain and those who have tried their best have failed. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve lost my share of battles but those were very few. This won’t be one of them. I’m not pretending to be something I’m not and this is no gimmick. What you see before you is pure, unadulterated evil that will strike you down where you stand. And I know that whomever I face will bring their best and I expect nothing less. But rest assured that it won’t be enough to put an end to the darkness I am about to unleash.
So no more talking. The time is at hand and when it’s all said and done, I will stand over your beaten and bloodied carcass with my hand raised in victory. Remember my words. Remember my promise. You’re not getting past me. You never stood a chance.
