(Daniel "Mindless" Christopher is shown sitting in a chair alone and by himself with nobody around.)
DC: Hale Cassidy is my opponent this week. Yes, my championship reign as Alpha Pro Junior Heavyweight Champion was short. No complaints about that. I lost fair and square. When it comes to Cassidy, I am not afraid to kick his ass in any kind of match. If you think my life was a gimmick, then you have no idea what you are talking about. I am not here to follow anybody's footsteps. I do not need to hold anybody's hand when I am out in public. I am a grown ass man and I make my own decision. I don't need nobody's permission to break the rules or interfere in another wrestler's match. I may be soft, but I sure am not stupid. Don't judge a book by its cover, if you haven't read the book yet. My past championship achievements speak for itself and that is fine with me.
(DC then grabs a nearby corona and pops open the bottle cap. He takes a swig of it, before speaking again.)
DC: If I lose again this week. I am fine with it. The only thing that matters to me is how much punishment that I am going to inflict on Hale Cassidy in that damn ring. He is a great wrestler and all, but he is no legend. It will take more than one wrestler to knock me down and out. Hale Cassidy is not one of them. I am not going down without a fight. This is a survival of the fittest and I will be the last man standing after the match with my hands raised by the referee. I got the guts to stand in the ring by myself and fight without any outside interference. Whether Hale Cassidy is bigger than me or smaller than me, I will still defeat you. You are no match for me. So what you want about my life or my personality. My life and personality is not a fictional gimmick that you can come up in a storybook or a college essay. We don't have to look alike or be the same. Hale Cassidy and I are two different human beings. I will accept the fact that I am going to defeat Hale for the three count. you don't have to like the loss, but you will accept it.
(Daniel then looks at his watch to check the time, before looking up at the video camera again.)
DC: My match should be great. Even though I don’t care about who the winner is. Alpha Pro got some great competition around here. I will give them credit for that. I don’t kiss anybody’s ass to get to the top or win matches. I don’t need management’s approval to bend the rules in a damn match. If you saw the Hardcore match that I had with Jamo and Addy A, I made the match ridelously enjoyable and worth watching. Even though I lost the shot at becoming the Hardcore champ, the loss didn’t bother me at all. If I got to accept defeat. Then so be it. Anyhow, as to my match with Hale Cassidy. This is gong to be one hell of a slobber knocker, because both of us are going to put on a show for these idiotic fans in the crowd and for the other curtain jerkers in the locker room. Cassidy, I absolutely will give it my all to beat you in our match against each other.
(The scene changes to a random television set and it turns on by itself to show Daniel Christopher in black and white.)
DC: This is a crazy world, ups and downs goes every single male or female wrestlers’ career as they debut in this wrestling company Alpha Pro Wrestling. Out with the old management and in with the new one. I am not a fortune teller, but I go wherever the rivers flow. Whether this transition in management is good or bad for the company’s future, you can damn well guarantee Daniel ``Mindless” Christopher will still be here. You might see midgets sleeping with female production assistants around here or catch Americs getting ram in the ass by Godzilla. You can definitely see Addy A giving Justin Timberlake having a quickie in the women’s locker room. The Bane sacrificed virgins for his own pleasure. This shit is out of control like the damn Twilight Zone. You don’t have to like it, but accept it the way it is, because this life. Donald Trump refused to admit that he lost the election. Country is still in a damn paradamic Cult worshiping the devil himself. The christians worship Jesus Christ. The Democratic and Republician supporters are at each other's throats. This shit batshit crazy. Now I have to face Hale Cassidy in a match this week. I should be insulted by this, but I don’t actually care about the consequences of this match nor if Management punishes me. Daniel Christopher is still going to be here. I am not a damn role model for these regular fans in the crowd. Hale Cassidy can have more fans than me and it still wouldn’t bother me. He can say whatever he wants about me. Hale Cassidy is not my damn problem. Once I am through with him I am on to my next opponent.
(DC then thinks for a few minutes before talking again.)
DC: My job has always been to earn respect through my peers by beating it into them, but some people don’t think that I deserve to have it in the respect to call myself a legend. Yes my past championship accomplishments are old and I am on a losing streak. My wrestling skills are not perfect, but I am willing to work my way to become a legend in Alpha Pro Wrestling. I got distaste for anybody in the company. I didn’t come into this company for them. I did it only for myself. So bring any opponent to me and I will fight them. I was never here for fame or glory. I only came to Alpha Pro Wrestling, because I wanted to be here. Nobody recruited me into coming here. I never ask nor beg for management to give any title shots around here. I rather earn my title shot by doing it the long way without any shortcuts. I don’t know about you Hale Cassidy, but that is me. I am willing to stand face to face with you in the same ring and tell you that I can beat you. I got the guts to do that. If I lose to you, I will admit defeat and not whine for a rematch. So, you are a tough opponent for me. No complaints about that. I am just not going to allow you to defeat me that easily. I am absolutely confident that this match is going to be good.
(Jessica Lee comes into the picture.)
DC: Sup, babe?
JL: Are you ready for your match with Hale Cassidy?
DC: Hell yeah, I am.
JL: What is your game plan?
DC: I don't have any game plan. I just go to finish whatever task I am given and I come back here to chill with you.
JL: Of course, you do things your way all the time.
DC: Damn right, I do shit my way. No complaints so far.
JL: That is great. Your title reign as Junior Heavyweight Champion was short.
DC: Eh, it is not a big deal. I don’t really need a title belt to show that I am good in the wrestling ring.
JL: What about your win/loss record?
DC: I got no concerns about it. It is better to move on to what I want to accomplish in the future of this wrestling business. Whether it is holding any gold or becoming a bona fide legend in Alpha Pro Wrestling, I am going to prove to everyone that Daniel “Mindless” Christopher is that damn good.
JL: Does Evolution J know that you got a match against Hale Cassidy?
DC: Yes he does.
JL: The weather is warm one week and cold the next.
DC: New York’s weather is like that during the winter season.
JL: Will it be snowing a lot this time around?
DC: I don’t know.
JL: Did you vote in this year’s election?
DC: Yes ,I did.
JL: Who did you vote for? Joe Biden or Donald Trump?
DC: Neither of them. I voted for some random lady named Jo Jorgensen. I don’t care who wins the election. As long as the winner is not Donald Trump.
JL: He is crazy, right?
DC: Yeah, he inherited it from his father.
JL: You might get in trouble with the white house for saying something negative about him.
DC: Fuck Donald Trump. I don’t care about him. He is the government’s problem. I just need to focus on my match with Hale Cassidy. After I am done with him, I will go on to face a different opponent.
JL: Undertaker retired at Survivor Series.
DC: It sucks to hear that. That guy is a wrestling legend. My career won’t be like Taker, but I do want to earn the respect that he got in the wrestling business.
JL: You will get there sooner than later.
DC: Definitely.
JL: The New York Giants managed to win some games.
DC: That is great to hear.
JL: You don’t really watch the game.
DC: I know that, but I do read about it.
JL: Yeah, you can do that too. I got a question for you?
DC: What is it?
JL: Was it worth changing your old gimmick from Cool D to Daniel “The Angel” Christopher in the past?
DC: Yeah, it was worth it. I needed a do-over at the time. I wasn’t really feeling the Cool D name at the time.
JL: That is true. Do you miss that old gimmick Cool D?
DC: No, I don’t
JL: What do you want for dinner tonight?
DC: Whatever they served, I will take.
JL: Are you fine with keeping the leftovers too?
DC: Yes, I am fine with it.
JL: I am going to go take a shower right now. Want to join me?
DC: I will be in a bit.
JL: Alright.
(Daniel takes the last swig of the corona and throws at a nearby trash bin. He pulls out a marijuana out of his pocket and lights it up, before smoking it. Daniel takes a few more puffs before blowing the smoke through his lips while still, looking at the video camera. He closes his eyes for several minutes before opening them again. Daniel Christopher feels good, even he is high as fuck right now. DC looks around his surroundings, before taking another puff from the marijuana and starts opening his mouth to do another promo this week against Hale Cassidy.. The guy has a huge fanbase with the women. In Daniel’s mind, he knows that this match is going to be good.)
DC: Hale Cassidy, I am looking forward to my match with you. I don’t care where they place our match first or last, I know that you and I are going to tear the house down and put butts in seats. I don’t need anybody’s attention to get noticed in this wrestling business. My hard work paid off in the past and it will repeat again today. If I can’t get a win over one Junior Heavyweight Championship title, I have many opportunities to get a shot at the other titles in Alpha Pro Wrestling. The sacrifice is worth the risk if you want to be a successful legend in this business. That is the only goal that I have to accomplish.
(Daniel “Mindless” Christopher then follows his girlfriend Jessica Lee into the bathroom as the scene fades out to black.)
