(The scene opens up and was in a small room somewhere. We see that is showing red lightening in the background and making the entire room lit full or red. A few seconds later noise can be heard from off-camera and in walks Alex Scott. Alex plants himself down onto a metal folded out chair. Alex who is seen wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt and a black leather jacket along with his gold chain and the Junior Heavyweight championship over his shoulder.)
“Ya’ll saw it didn’t you? Ya’ll saw last Monday Night Metal didn’t you? Last Monday Night Metal I gave Leah Lincoln a golden opportunity in her early career here in APW and that was a shot at MY Junior Heavyweight championship. She gave me a fight that’s for damn sure but in the end I did what I said I would do and that’s beaten her. Not only did I beat her I saw it in her eyes that what I was saying was the truth. That it was too early for her to have any title shot let only a title shot for my title. I told her flat out that she wasn’t ready and I proved it. I proved it on Monday Night Metal and I’ll prove it again at Vendetta.”
(Alex smiles while holding his Junior Heavyweight championship)
“Fast forward to now and APW has announced this month’s pay-per-view titled Vendetta. Where I once again put my title on the line in a scramble match with five other stars. John Blade, Daniel Christopher, Brother Zeke, Leah Lincoln and Hale Cassidy. Five other competitors I need to keep all eyes open for and my head on a swivel. In scramble matches anything can happen and if you blink you’ve missed something. But I won’t miss anything because I will have my eyes firmly locked on each of my opponents. And speaking of my opponents let me direct my attention to each of them. First let me talk directly to Leah Lincoln once again.”
(Alex pauses)
“Leah Lincoln last week you had a chance of a lifetime. You had a chance to get your hands on MY Junior Heavyweight championship in singles action and what happened? What happened Leah? YOU FAILED. You failed because you were not ready. You were not ready then and you’re not ready now and now you have others to deal with. You have others who are fighting for my junior heavyweight title and there is no doubt that you will be overshadowed. Not only in scramble matches others may team up. But overall Leah you’ll be on the losing side once again because my statement still stands and that is you’re STILL not ready.”
(Alex pauses)
“Not only did APW announce Vendetta this week but us Americans will be celebrating Thanksgiving on November 26th. A time of the year where we sit down with our families and friends and are thankful for them and what we have in our lives. I mean the year 2020 has been a year full of dread and despair. With countries going onto Lockdown restrictions to worldwide pandemics killing hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. But what has been the most unforeseen of this year in 2020 is John Blade’s world title chance. I mean who would’ve thought that John Blade would get a chance at the world title picture. Nobody. But John Blade considering it will be Thanksgiving after Vendetta you should really thank me for your world title scene. And I know what you’re thinking? Your thinking that why you should thank me?”
(Alex pauses)
“It’s quite simple John Blade you should thank me because I finally did you and everyone else a favor and got rid of Latoya Hixx. She was always pulling you down and holding you back and now that I sent her packing on her return to the company she’ll never be seen again. You’re Welcome. I did that for you John. I did that for me and I did that for everyone else. You had that experience in your long career finally down to me. But now John Blade I’m here standing with my Junior Heavyweight title looking you dead in the eye and telling you that you’ll never touch my title let alone get anywhere near it. Your old John Blade and I am the future of this damn place.”
(Alex smiles)
“Next we have is Daniel Christopher and Daniel before now you wasn’t on my radar. I didn’t see anything in you that deserved to get a shot at my title. I mean time and time again you’ve lost your matches. It must be out of sheer pity that APW management has placed you in this match. But Daniel I see you now I see you sitting there in your damn throne pretending to be a king with a queen by your side but in reality you’re like most around here delusional. You suffer with bouts of delusions of grandeur because you actually thinking you’re going to take my Junior Heavyweight title away is nothing more than delusional. You can sit there and explain and justify to yourself why you’ve been put into this match because of hard work in the ring and all that but I know the truth. I speak the truth and the truth of the matter is APW management took pity on you.”
(Alex pauses)
“You Daniel Christopher have no idea what hard work and passion for this business is unlike me and you have not had the year that I’ve had in APW. I’ve scratched and I’ve clawed my way back to wearing this piece of gold and there is no way in hell that you or anyone else is taking it away from me. I will fight til my dying breath and I will retain. I don’t care about your religious beliefs and I certainly couldn’t give two shits if you became a slave to Bane and did his dirty work.”
(Alex holds up his Junior heavyweight title in front of the camera)
“This is what I ONLY care about. And Daniel Christopher when I’m up against five others all at once. Those odds make me stronger. Being up against the wall makes me more dangerous and I will walk out of Vendetta thankful and STILL Junior Heavyweight champion.”
(Alex pauses)
“Then we have is Hale Cassidy and Hale there isn’t much more I can say about you that I’ve haven’t said before. I mean a few weeks ago you had the chance at my Junior Heavyweight title just like Leah Lincoln did and you failed too. How is now going to be any different? It isn’t. Hale Cassidy you’re going to be on the losing side too and you can just be thankful for being in the match. Because Hale you’ll never be Junior Heavyweight champion.”
(Alex pauses)
“Last and very least we have Brother Zeke and in complete honesty I couldn’t care less about. I have beaten Brother Zeke on many occasions and that it would be better if you didn’t’ show up. I’d actually have more respect for you if you didn’t. So Brother Zeke do yourself a favor and don’t show up.”
(Alex pauses)
“But to the rest of my opponents just know that after the dusts settles and I’ve fought and clawed my way through you all I will STILL be Junior Heavyweight champion. And I will be thankful for that.”
