Leah is seen sitting on a bench in front of Southeastern Medical Hospital. In her hand is a picture of 3 people, two men and 1 woman. The words live and die are written in red marker across the top. Leah smiles a little then puts the picture next to her facedown.
I lay awake some nights trying to understand why people do such bad things to others. I do at times really understand why they do it. Sadly sometimes I even think they were right in doing so. I see people every week that I feel are just faking it to get some sort of attention. The world Alex works in a way that it shouldn’t. A killer can have their attorney plead insanity and if they can be deemed crazy that get to come here to Southeastern Medical Hospital. In my life I have actually come across many people who admitted to faking being crazy so they did not have to go to prison. Well guess what happened to those people Alex? Those people ended up going to prison because they were deemed stable of solid mind and body. Makes you wonder why they lied to get off. Then I have come across people who really are mentally unstable and need actual help. People who need guidance to get better in their head. I understand that what some did was really bad. Some honestly deserve their judgement day real soon. Now Alex which category do you fall under. Are you putting on an act to get attention or are you really just mentally unstable. Either way the outcome will be the same for you.
Leah looks down and flips the picture over and smiles again before continuing.
My point before I went off on a tangent is simply this. Over the last few weeks my mind has been wondering about an unsafe place and honestly Alex I like it sometimes. See in my head I am very self aware of my surroundings but even my mind goes crazy. I feel like the last couple weeks have been a struggle to really find my main focus. I say I am focused, yes but what am I focused on really. Has my focus been on achieving great things? Is my focus on my opponent? Is my focus on staying sane in and out the ring. Alex you can understand focus i am sure or i think you do. I think we do share alot of the same mindset and that does separate us from others here in APW. I also think that you understand this next statement alot more than others. If you focus on the wrong thing it can cause more problems than needed. Alex I think that sometimes people become fixated with the wrong things and see themselves as having a good reason to be that way. I can not speak for you but I think listening to you talk that you are that type of person. You become enslaved to the idea of control that no matter what you say or what you do people can see what you're trying to do.
Leah shakes her head and laughs.
Well let me correct that, most people can see it. It is simply called a breakdown from obsession. You think that you need to prove a certain thing because you feel you people need to know. My brothers were both like that. They would only focus on hurting people because their trainor was like that. Jim would tell them both that in order to be talked about you had to do things that people would talk about. That is why they had such a short life span in wrestling. They both ended up here in Southeastern because they couldn’t separate fake from what was real. Sounds familiar Alex or will you deny that statement as false. For years I documented everything they did when I was around. Everytime they trained I was there watching from the sidelines taking in what they were doing. Every single promo they ever cut I was there listening to them speak. Everytime Jim would talk. I listened to every word he spoke and watched as my brothers took those words in. Alex, I am more aware than you realize and you need to understand that your little parlor trick has no effect on me. You seem to believe that if you use a grave as a symbol that I will take you a little more seriously. I took you seriously before you did that. Now I laugh and wonder why you felt you needed that when you already felt you were better than me. Alex you see nothing as the way it is and come Metal when we see each other there will be a cleansing of your soul.
Security walks up and asks Leah to leave. Leah says in a minute and the guard grabs here and yells “Now”. Leah laughs and kicks the guard in his stomach before connecting with the Swamp Wind onto the bench.
Alex you might feel that i did not earn this title shot and you are right. I did not earn this shot but seeing as i did something that most could not do so easily. I guess management thought let's see where this goes. So this week you get me a woman as you pointed out already. A woman that will not back down from you. You got a woman who is not gonna complain if I lose to you. See you for some reason see me as not an equal but you say i am. That is confusing because you say one thing yet mean something else. Words for you are confusing. That is what I am gonna make this very simple for you to understand. Alex, I see you as something of a challenge and you being a champion makes you that much more dangerous. I will take nothing away from you as that would be foolish. You earned your belt and I know that facing me someone who is not sure about you makes you see yourself as maybe not capable of winning. Your eyes tell the story that will be written come this match. You fear what you can not figure out and will stay that way because that is all you're capable of.
Do not think that words and time makes a difference to the outcome. This man laying on the ground hurt, suffered the pain of thinking he could bully me. Alex you make whatever arrangements you need to make because Metal what you started is gonna be taken away. I am not coming for your title but your sanity because i know i can take it. This is not about if I am ready for Alex because I stay ready. This is about can Alex survive Leah long enough to make people believe his hype is more than words. You talked up this great game and now you get to back it up by avoiding what some have not been able to. Alex i wish you well because after Metal when i am hoisting your title above my head. You will be looking up at me and wondering why you lost and the answer will hit you so hard that you will have to conclude that in your light Leah Lincoln was just that much better than you. Then that light you turned on will be turned off. It did not have to be this way but you seemed to want it this way. So you get what you wanted and the question will be answered did Leah earn this title shot.

I will leave you with this little question. Alex If words judge our actions, what do our actions say about you. Now you might say that you were kidding and play everything off as talk to hype the match. To me your words are hollow and have no meaning. Everyone will see that your words are just words to cover your ability to not be World Title material. All you have is what is around your waist and come Metal, you will have nothing but an empty waist and some broken promises to yourself. In the end Alex we are all chalk outlines on the concrete waiting to be washed away by the wind. Alex, tomorrow our day will come and if you survive then your words are forgiven. If you lose then your words are taken as lies of the soul. Do not be like the others, do not make your words seem like mislead actions. I want you to bring your best as I will bring mine.
