(The scene opens up and we are inside of a hotel room. A generic hotel as we have seen in the past. As we pan around we see that Alex Scott is sitting at the end of his bed. With a few luggage items behind him and Alex who is wearing some blue jeans, black t-shirt and a green jacket. Alex looks bemused and furious at the same time)
“Last week I sat in the middle of the ring a few days before Killing Floor and made a statement. I made the statement that I was being wasted on the roster. I made the statement that APW management chose other talent from other companies over me to compete for the junior Heavyweight championship when Elijah Dixon disappeared. APW shoved me in a tag team title match with Latoya Hixx and thought that would shut me up. They thought giving me a random tag team partner would settle my dreams. It didn’t and a few days after Killing Floor arrived. And looked what happened?”
(Alex pauses)
“Killing Floor will always be in the history books of APW as a joke. It will become infamous towards the fans because of technical difficulties and people no-showing. Now regarding the technical difficulties us performers have nothing to do with. And whoever was in charge I hope is dealt with and fired. But what I can dive into are the talent that no-showed. Those talents showed no loyalty. Those talent showed disrespect to APW and by their actions I hope that APW has the balls and blackball them from ever stepping into the APW offices and getting anywhere near a new contract. I hope that those who didn’t show and ruined the Killing Floor pay-per-view die a horrible death.”
(Alex pauses)
“Now people will be thinking that is a big bold statement. But it’s nothing but the truth. I am sick and tired of seeing people walk in and get handed opportunities and then leaving when they fail. I have stayed in APW since day one. I was one of the first to sign up. I have showed nothing but loyalty. And killing floor was nothing but a joke of a pay-per-view. But now APW management has had their eyes wide-opened. Now from this moment it is a clean slate for everyone. I hope that is true. And this week on Monday Night Metal Supercard show everything is decided. Like the junior heavyweight championship.”
(Alex smiles)
“This Monday Night Metal is subtitled as a Supercard show. Every championship is on the line and I FINALLY have my title shot that I deserved on Killing Floor. I finally step into the ring and challenge for the Junior Heavyweight title and I am not going to take anyone lightly. And on this Supercard show I go head-to-head with recent newcomer to APW Hale Cassidy.”
(Alex pauses)
“Hale Cassidy is coming into this match with a win under his belt because he actually won at Killing Floor. Although nobody actually won overall but Hale Cassidy did win his match. So Hale is coming into this match with momentum. But Hale I’m talking directly to you. I am coming into this match with passion, anger and sheer determination to win and get my hands on that Junior Heavyweight title.”
(Alex pauses)
“At it seems that were in your hometown Hale and I’m sure that is giving you a little boost in confidence being in front of your family and friends. But it will not help you in the end. It will not. You see Hale you are walking into the lion’s den and even though were in your hometown the APW ring is my home. And I will not only protect it I will defend it from outsiders. You Hale Cassidy will not be forging a new destiny here in APW and certainly not off of my back. You can believe that you and your little crew are a force to be reckoned with but when the bell rings. I’ll show you exactly what I am capable off.”
(Alex smiles)
“I will exhale the hate that I have held in for months and months here in APW and I will walk out of Supercard your new Junior Heavyweight champion and that I rightfully deserve. You may think you’re going to be sitting at the high table here in APW but you’re not. When the dust settles after our match everything will be absolutely clear for everyone and that is me being announced the new Junior Heavyweight champion. I hope that the nearest hospital has a spare bed for you because I am going to hurt you. This isn’t personal this is business and I mean business from this clean slate. From now on I will not allow anyone to hold me down or get in my way. And Hale Cassidy you’re in my way.”
(Alex pauses)
“All the opportunities that APW management have recently promised after Killing Floor will be coming my way because I have shown nothing but loyalty. I have put everything on the line, my body and my life for this company and now I am getting what I deserve. I am getting that Junior Heavyweight championship and NOBODY will stop me. Not YOU Hale Cassidy and not anyone else. You’re looking at the new Junior Heavyweight champion. Just know that so there won’t be any disappoint for you.”
