Good Night, Liberty Lyon! Part 2
(The scene opens with Daniel Christopher sitting on a couch, while his therapist is in a chair and this was from a clip taken from two years ago.)
Two Years Ago
Therapist: Do you know why you are here?
DC: Yes. It is, because I got trick four times by a scammer and I need to stop believing other fake people's lie. Is that good enough?
Therapist: Yes, that is correct. I know that you are dealing with a difficult situation that needs to be resolved. It will take awhile for your life to go back to normal. You do know that, right?
DC: Yes, I know. I admit my issues are the main cause for my current situation. It will take a lot of convincing on my part to get better and get myself of the deep hole that I purposely drag myself in.
Therapist: Yes, that is correct. You will be better after this and everything in your life will be right back to normal. It is a long step to recovery, but everyone in your family and friends know that you will be a better person after this.
DC: Alright. Thanks.
Present
Therapist: Daniel, how are you doing since the last time we spoke?
DC: I am doing really great and my mind feels a lot better than the last time I was here in this room.
Therapist: Are you still getting in troubles with scammers and other stuff?
DC: No, I am fine and haven't got myself in any trouble since you help me with my road to recovery. Thanks for your help. It will guide me on the right path and out of the black hole that I was in.
Therapist: You're welcome. Keep up the great work.
DC: Thanks.
(At home with Jessica Lee, Daniel Christopher can be seen lying on the couch with his girlfriend in his arms.)
JL: You feeling okay?
DC: Yeah, why do you ask?
JL: Still thinking about the past troubles you had with the scammers?
DC: Not anymore. With the help of therapy, I don't think that my mind would help have allow me to come back to wrestle while dealing with a serious issue like the scammers.
JL: Well, that is the past and you can now look into the present. You got any thoughts on your opponent this week?
DC: To be honest, not really. I will do the same thing that I always do. Come in, kick ass, and then leave. Then win some gold in the future too.
JL: That is a great idea.
DC: I know it is, because I can guarantee that I will come out as the winner this week.
JL: Were you a shy nerd in school, but a pain the ass at home, when you were little?
DC: Yep. Nobody knows how my difficult childhood was like back then. It took my parents 30 times to stand in a court room to finally get the state to allow my brother and me to get into a regular school. Were we both premature? Yes, but it wasn't our fault. Something can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. In most case, my brother and I were lucky to still be alive after staying in the hospital for 6 months or more, because we were under weight and got sick after we were born. My parents had a good reason to not allow us or my sister to be born in Cambodia. I can't blame them for not wanting us to experience the same struggles that they did before they escape to the United States. Would my life be a lot different if I was born in Cambodia, instead of America? Yes, because I would speak my native language a lot better, but would have to learn proper English when I have to move to the United States. I got to thank my parents and my family. Yeah, my brother may learn things at a slow pace and not speak clearly, but we can curse you out in our native language if we have to! Do I wish that I can bring my brother here with me to win some damn gold? Yes, but I won't force him to come out of retirement. Let him enjoy it. As for me, I still got my eyes on some gold that I want to win before I retire for good.
JL: That is great to hear from you.
DC: You know that I am still crazy right?
JL: I know.
DC: I don't expect to make any friends in this wrestling company. Other than that, I know that somebody is going to try to put a target on my back. Man or woman. Either way, I am not going down with a fight.
(The scene then fades to black.)
