I made my debut last week at APW vs. The World… and things didn't according to plan. I got in there with Daniel Christopher… and it was a hell of a match. He's going to do big things in APW… and I'd welcome another match with him in the future. I admittedly wasn't at the top of my game… possibly because I'm so used to tag team matches.
I don't mean to make excuses for my performance. I just know that I can do better… and I will do better in the future. My dad always told me that we fall down so we learn how to get back up again. That lesson comes in handy as I look to my next match on APW vs. The World. No, I haven't been signed to APW just yet… so I'm happy to get another opportunity to show them what I've got.
Coming up next… a man named Von Vagabond. Much like my brother Chris… he lives fast and lives free. He's a wanderer. He goes where the wind takes him. Now the current has brought him to Alpha Pro Wrestling. Now he will go toe-to-toe with a man with nothing to lose. I didn't come to APW just to hang out. I came to win. In order to do that… I've got to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Is Von Vagabond prepared to do the same? He's all about living loose and doing whatever, man. I'm not sure how that carries over into the professional wrestling business… but I look forward to seeing him in action. I don't live fast. I live at a calculated pace. For the time being though… I also live on the road. Instead of hitchhiking like Von Vagabond… I'm traveling the country in a Winnebago RV with my brother Chris… and Lexi Sparkles. If he's not too much of a dick… we might offer him a ride to the next town. It beats living by the rules of the road.
However he gets from The Jump Out to Salt Lake City is his own business. I'm not here to judge his lifestyle. I am here to tell you that in no way will I accept defeat at the hands of Von Vagabond. I have spent my entire life wanting to follow in my dad's footsteps. He was a multi-time World Champion by the time he was my age… and my only success has been in a tag team with my brother.
This match with Von Vagabond is my opportunity to break out of all of their shadows… and step out into the spotlight on my own. That was my intention against Daniel Christopher… and I learned a lot in that match. I need to play to my strengths and not allow my weaknesses to be exposed.
Von… keep on living your life as you please. The booze. The drugs. Begging for change. That's your thing. My thing is staying healthy… working out… and getting as much ring time as possible. I was a week old the first time my dad brought me in the ring. I don't remember it… obviously… but it's important because I've literally spent my whole life in the ring. You've likely never devoted more than an hour to anything in your life.
You're a highway star, Von… and I'm a superstar. We're not even on the same planet right now. That may not be too far out there since you're likely high as a kite right now. I get it, man. My brother Chris is into the devil's lettuce or whatever you kids call it these days. It impairs his judgement but somehow in the ring it amplifies his instincts. That doesn't make any sense to me but that's his process.
What is yours, Von? What drives you? Is it just the illicet drugs and liquid death? Is it the rush of freedom coursing through your body? Are you even aware that you are a professional wrestler? So many questions to answer… and ultimately I'll find out in person at APW vs. The World what you're all about. The flipside is that you will learn how resilient and adaptable I am inside of the squared circle.

Hopefully this is the last thing you see...
Maybe it's not. Maybe this is all for naught. Maybe you'll obtain that illusive W. I guess we'll find out for sure. With APW continuing to build up their Junior Heavyweight Division… adding the two of us to their ranks only strengthens the potential contenders for Giggles. And… hey… one week after our match is Alpha Showdown… where ALL title will be on the line. You never know when you're going to hit that sweet spot and earn a title match around here.
Look back a couple weeks to Victoria Sabin. She lost to Giggles' buddy Vinny… and earned a title shot. Even in defeat… there was something about her deemed worthy of a title match. The same could happen here with us. For all I know… you could lose to me and get a title shot. Or… gosh forbid… visa versa. The possibilities here are endless! APW provides the most metal wrestling on the planet! Are you ready to rock, Von Vagabond?!

Von Vagabond… you're about to meet up with a man born out of time. With my work ethic and determination… I belong in a bygone era of this business. Instead… here I am… fighting for scraps with the likes of… well… you. I don't know you… and I don't mean to sound judgey… but you don't seem like the type who cares about winning. You like to brawl… and that's cool. What good is brawling when you're up against a man able to adapt to any fighting style?
I'm like a pro wrestling chameleon.
Whatever comes my way… I'll be ready.
You either adapt or you die.
