(The scene opens up and was outside of the CU Events Center. It’s a cold day here in Colorado and as we pan around we see a number of cars in the parking lot scattered around. A few seconds later we see that Alex Scott steps out of his Black Range Rover and as he steps out he is carrying some luggage. Alex who is wearing some black jeans and a khaki colored winter coat. Alex stops in front of the CU Events Center)
“It’s just a matter of a few weeks ago that I was riding high as a tag team with DJF. It’s only a few weeks ago that we were cruiserweight tag team champions for Action Wrestling. It just shows that anything can happen in wrestling in a blink of an eye. Changes can happen in an instant and now since APW have returned back from its week off I am booked in a match on Monday Night Metal.”
(Alex looks bemused)
"I am booked in a match against some chick known as Lexi Sparkles. Who I’ll speak about shortly but before I do. I wanna get a few things off my chest.”
(Alex pauses)
“One thing is why I am not considered for the Junior Heavyweight championship? Why is someone like Victoria Sabin who hasn’t done anything yet in her time here in APW get’s a shot? Why Liliana Rose is constantly considered and has more opportunities time and time again? I do see favouritism here in APW. While the real talents like me are pushed down and sometimes even forgotten about on pay-per-view shows. I can’t remember the last time I was even on a pay-per-view show. But at the current time I’ll allow these people to have their shot. I’ll do what I’ve always done and earn my way to gold. While others are happily to receive hand-outs I’ll knuckle down and EARN my shot. Just like I will this Monday.”
(Alex smiles)
“Let’s turn my attention to my opponent Lexi Sparkles who sounds like a rejected band member of an 90’s pop-girl group. But nether less you are signed to APW and I don’t know if you’re making your debut against me or not. There’s not much information on you yet or nothing I can find anyway, but Lexi Sparkles right no you’re entering the ring with me and right now Lexi I’m at an impasse that means in case your small little mind doesn’t understand that my career is at a deadlock. And I need to find a way to claw my way to the top again and that’s what I plan on doing.”
(Alex smiles)
“I am plan on biting my way through every opponent, I plan on clawing my way through every opponent and I plan on scratching my way through every opponent and win after win I will succeed. I need this because I cannot stand being mediocre when I know I’m better than just good. I am the future of APW and I will show that.”
(Alex smiles)
“Now Lexi you’re probably a nice gal and everything but whether you’re nice or not I don’t give a damn about you. I don’t care and I’m gonna hurt you. I’m gonna show up on Monday Night Metal with the sole purpose of making you not stand up and leave on your own accord. I’m gonna start by throwing you around like a ragdoll with the every suplex I have under my belt. Then when you’re exhausted by all that and are seeing dizzy spells then I’ll work you down some more. That is what I plan on doing and sure you may show up with some fight in you but that’s not enough.”
(Alex pauses)
“It’s not enough to have a little fight because I am focused in resurrecting my career here in APW. I am going to catapult my career back on track and it starts with you Lexi Sparkles. This is too bad for you.”
(Alex pauses)
“But at least this is a story you can tell your future kids about. That you went head-to-head with the future of APW. That you had a chance against me and lived to tell about it. I mean business Lexi and I’m heading back to the top and I’m gonna use you as a stepping stone. And every opponent here after too. Just know that it isn’t personal just business. Lexi Sparkles I’ll see you on
Monday.”
