The five members of Isaac Barnum’s Traveling Circus of Wonder are gathered in The Basement™. There is a banner hanging on the wall reading: “CoNgLaTuRaTiOnS vInNy! !! !” in celebration of Vinny’s big victory the previous week on Metal.
Tina and Timothy Bloom are currently stood in front of a small karaoke machine sharing a microphone, holding it with one hand each. The twins sing Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie but instead of taking turns singing, they sing everything in their unified voice. Timothy is a wonderful singer but Tina is slightly off-key.
Towards the back of the room stood Isaac Barnum, observing his clients having fun from a distance as usual. He turns and looks into the camera. He wears a smug smile.
Greetings, Alpha Pro Wrestling faithful. I do hope you are excited about this upcoming Monday Night Metal. For you are in for quite the treat as Your Favorite Clown and Mine, Giggles is set to defend his Junior Heavyweight championship against not one, not two, but three worthy opponents!
Yes yes, my Giggles has yet to defend his title since winning it back at Bulletproof. But I am inclined to believe that is more for the safety of the would-be challengers. For Giggles becomes much different when he is defending someone or something he loves. And as far as he knows, that title is helping us extend our reach to the good little children even further. So there is no way he will give it up without quite the struggle. So, I would like to speak directly to the opponents of my dear Giggles for a moment.
Allow me to begin with Ms. Victoria Sabin. Let me just say that it is such an honor for you to request such an immediate encore after Vinny’s delightfully devilish beatdown of you last week. I trust you are well rested after Vinny put you to sleep? I do hope so. Because you are not prepared for the transition from the brute force of Vinny to the unorthodox nature of my Giggles. If you thought you struggled before… You have not seen anything yet.
You see, Ms. Victoria. There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity. You, my dear, are the latter. I do not understand why, when freed from the jaws of the alligator, you stick your head right back into the beast. Vinny, at least, knows when to stop. Giggles can go ad infinitum. This is a game to him, he doesn’t know when to quit because he simply loves to play.
While the other two ladies in this match continue their petty squabble on the various social medias, you at least remain focused on your career. Unfortunately, you have chosen the wrong targets to focus on. For reasons I cannot fathom, you thought it was a good idea to go after Vinny and then try targeting my Giggles. And after Vinny put you to sleep, you remain undeterred to go after the joyous jester and make a run at his Junior Heavyweight Title. I respect your determination, your drive to achieve your championship aspirations. But you must realize that you are just running into the brick wall over and over again. Do give up the fight before Giggles is forced to put a permanent smile on your face...
Next, I would like to speak to one of the big returns that recently occurred. Ms. Liliana Rose. Well-traveled in the world of professional wrestling before being forced to take a hiatus to deal with your personal demons. A riveting story, so very inspiring.
However… I cannot help but mention that you could have returned with much more of an impact. Simply sign onto Isaac Barnum’s Traveling Circus of Wonder and you too could taste the same success my clients enjoy. Instant success, title victories, all with one of the most successful promoters in the game handling every one of your business needs.
But alas, you choose instead to flaunt your sexuality for all of the deprived men and women of the Alpha Pro Wrestling faithful. Not a bad strategy if I do say so myself but I must point out the obvious fact that your appearance may only take you so far. You cannot win championships based solely on your looks nor can you distract your opponents forever.
I know you wish to be in control, given your relationship with your… um… associate, but that is the beauty of my band of misfits, everyone is in control of their own destiny! I simply provide them the means to reach for them in the most optimal way.
But you’re resilient, are you not? You are stubborn and a fighter, willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. So much so that you ignore the forest in order to focus on the tree. You are so focused on doing things on your own that you do not take the optimal steps to do things right. Allow me to be frank with you for a moment. You are useless without someone like me in your corner. Your shallow, one-dimensional approach to your matches will only take you so far before everyone figures you out and you are back to the irrelevant scrap heap where you might just belong after all.
I believe you realize this. That must be why you try to make everyone take note of you by using the world wide web to raise awareness about you. Like this petty, childish feud with Ms. LeStrange. I am of the age-old belief actions speak louder than words. So this little war of words you kids have been waging means nothing to me other than you are both so very childish and unfocused on what really matters. This is precisely why I limit Giggles’ social media use. Too many annoying distractions.

Do you truly believe being an immortal vampire makes you special? Some sort of untouchable being? Do you have any idea what you are up against in my Giggles? Of course not. Oh, silly me. I seem to have gone off track. Let me refocus by saying… you are not special, my dear Phoenix. I have seen countless individuals such as yourself come and go in my time and you are no better than any of them. You will talk a big game, maybe find yourself with a victory or two, but you will never come close to the kind of success my Giggles has in his short time in Alpha Pro Wrestling. You will simply be another face on the outside looking in just like you were everywhere else you have been.
This partner of yours… Pandora, was it? Yes, an interesting case. You claimed she was holding you back, that you will be better off without her. That may be true, but you must realize you are simply making excuses for your own shortcomings, no?
You claim to be such an independent woman since breaking apart from your tag team partner yet it is evident you are still merely a follower. You wear the aura of a leader but the truth is that you are but a cog in a much larger machine. Still very low on the food chain.
That is the beauty of my group. Here, you are always at the top, you are always a leader, everyone is a leader in my Carnival.
You ladies are all fine competitors, but none of you compare to the power, the strength, the wrath of my callous carny. And while you focus on tearing each other down instead of gunning for the one you should be worried about, Your Favorite Clown and Mine.
