Live From: Pechanga Arena, San Diego, California
Seating capacity: 16,100
Exclusive to NETFLIX
The arena is in complete silence as this image appears on the tron. Then there is a collective gasp. Standing in the middle of the ring is Jessica Kaine with a somber look on her face.
Jessica Kaine: Last night… live on pay per view… The Raging Dead competed in and ultimately lost a Buried Alive Match against Frank Lowe. The end of the match saw Lowe padlock the casket shut before… burying him alive...
She wipes a tear from her cheek.
Jessica Kaine: The crew at Action Wrestling rushed to the scene to rescue The Raging Dead but they were…
She holds the mic down, trying to hold herself together
Jessica Kaine: They were too late. His wife gave us permission to divulge that… according to an autopsy this morning… he was unconscious prior to asphyxiation. No word on if criminal charges are being pursued against Mr. Lowe at this time.
She pauses.
Jessica Kaine: Unfortunately… the show here must go on. Tonight was the night that Raging Dead was to officially sign a contract with Alpha Pro Wrestling and compete in the main event against Spartan. The official word is that Spartan WILL be competing tonight… but his opponent has not been named at this time. So… without further adue… welcome to Monday Night Metal!
Pyrotechnics go off at the stage as "Rage 25/8" by Z Mann Zilla plays for the final time in APW. The fans do their best to show excitement for the show.

America Jackson vs. Victoria Sabin
Our American Champion towers over his opponent to start off this non-title contest. He offers her one free shot, and she takes it in the form of a popup sidekick. This rocks Jackson back to the ropes. He charges at Sabin, who ducks a clothesline and springboards off the middle rope… then crossbodys the champ… but he catches her and gorilla press slams her in the middle of the ring.
The fans boo him, and he takes that as them booing America in general. He scolds the fans in attendance and Sabin attempts to roll him up. He doesn't go down, and instead grabs her by the arm… yanking her to her feet. He whips her off the rope and she ducks a clothesline again, then hits the ropes and takes Jackson down with a headscissor takedown. The crowd cheers as she covers Jackson, but he bench presses her to her feet before the referee can count.
Jackson sits up and Sabin knocks him loopy with a penalty kick. She is a bit hesitant to go for the cover, feeling guilty for how hard she kicked him. When she does go to cover, Jackson rolls under the ropes. He pulls himself up and Sabin catches him with a high kick. He stumbles back and lands on his feet as she hits the ropes… hitting him with a suicide dive! He collides with the barricade and Sabin pops to her feet, basking in the adoration from the fans.
Sabin grabs Jackson in a front face lock and pulls him back toward the ring. He powers through and rams her back into the edge of the ring. She releases the hold and he rolls her back in the ring. Jackson climbs onto the apron and steps between the ropes… only to take a surprise rolling kick from Sabin. She writhes in pain still from her back being slammed against the ring, and she is unable to make the cover. She holds onto the ropes, trying to gain composure… as Jackson snatches her up from behind and…
Remi: AAAMERICAAA FIIIRRRSSST!!!1
He covers her, hooking both legs.

The camera cuts to backstage where we find Andrew Barnes talking with some of the APW crew.
Andrew Barnes: It's gonna be alright, guys. Things will start looking up, just be patient and remember to wear your mask.
Andrew points to his mask as the crew nods and smiles as they walk away from him.
Andrew Barnes: Remember to wash your hands! I'm looking at you, Rico!
The crew laughs, leaving Andrew Barnes alone with the camera. He turns to the camera and takes off his mask.
Andrew Barnes: Oh, hi there! I'm Andrew Barnes. Newest signee of Alpha Pro Wrestling.
He crosses his arms.
Andrew Barnes: Now, I know people here won't recognize me from anything. They might, however, know the name.
He waves one hand across himself.
Andrew Barnes: ANDREW BARNES. A CUT ABOVE THE REST.
Sets his hands on his hips.
Andrew Barnes: The name that no one gave two stinks before was the name of my father. The man that ruined made no legacy. Just party and loose women. His only accomplishment was having a few sperm smart enough to make yours truly.
A smile flashes across his face, as Andrew tries to hide some of the pain whenever he thinks of his father.
Andrew Barnes: Now, not to get bogged down by history, because let's face it, no one really cares about my history with my father. I'll just get to the point then. I came to Alpha Pro Wrestling to straighten humanity out. I'm here because this world needs someone like me in it. Someone who will make you believe in yourself. Not your typical ego maniacs that wear flashy suits, with their hair slicked back, only caring about the digits on the check. Those ""Heroes"" are tainting this world. They make you believe that the only way to succeed is to be cold and calculate. Stab your fellow man in the back for a quick buck. Push down anyone that gets in your way. LOOK OUT FOR ONLY YOURSELF!
Andrew stares deeply into the camera.
Andrew Barnes: Enough of that. I'm here to create a new path for everyone. My match tonight with Oblivion will be the beginning of my journey. IT will test all my training, all the hours I have been in that ring will be put to great use as I try to tame a monster that feeds on life. Oblivion may not be who I was speaking about before. He doesn't really have an ego. He's just a monster. The human that controlled that body before seems long gone. He is now something that none of us truly understand. Heck, whenever I saw him on TV, I almost gave up wrestling. He's legit a scary dude and many will fall before IT in the future.
He points to himself.
Andrew Barnes: Do I have what it takes to finally put IT down?
He shrugs.
Andrew Barnes: I guess we'll just have to see. This is my debut match here, but it could also be my last. Oblivion is a powerhouse. Fearless. An animal. However, I'm not gonna just give up and walk home now. A animal needs to be observed... Slowly earning its trust with treats here and there. After a bit, IT will slowly turn into a loyal companion. Someone who will walk into the light with. All you have to do is...
He reaches his right hand out towards the camera.
Andrew Barnes: ... Take my hand .. And also use sanitizer after you touch someones hand, kids.
He flashes a harmless smile with a thumbs up as the camera cuts away.

Jaice Wilds vs. Soul Reaver
Right out the gate, Wilds shot from his corner and laid into Reaver, delivering several rights and lefts… to no avail. Reaver grabbed Wilds by the head and tossed him all the way across the ring.
The match continued as such, with Reaver maintaining the upper hand until Jaice managed to distract the referee just long enough to deliver a low blow to the giant.
Jaice, now with momentum, cleverly tried to keep the big man off his feet, with several kicks to the stomach and head. Shaken, Soul Reaver successfully caught Jaice’s final kick, placing a hand on Wilds’ torso and lifting him before slamming him to the mat.
With Wilds getting to his feet slowly, Reaver stalks his prey. To his feet, Wilds turns around directly into a chokeslam from Soul Reaver.
UP!
DOWN!
Soul Reaver smirks and places his boot on the chest of a lifeless Jaice Wilds.

Jessica Kaine: Here is your winner… he is SOUL REAVER!
Phoenix LeStrange is seen on the tron. She smirks as a red light shines overhead. She laughs as she speaks.
Phoenix: Soon I will grace the ring of Alpha Pro Wrestling. I am here on a mission. The Moroi has sent me...
The feed statics as we see Lilianna Rose smirking from ear to ear.
Lilianna: We, the Network, have interrupted this snooze fest to speak on something that actually matters. I, Lilianna Rose aka the Producer, am confused as to why the management here allow this kind of charade to parade around on our television sets. Why is it that Phoenix LeStrange can get herself over simply by being an e-thot? You see, as far as we are concerned, Phoenix LeStrange is hereby cancelled.
The screen splits as Phoenix is seen on the other side shaking her head.
Phoenix: Lilianna, you are all talk. You always have others do your bidding. First you used the Lesbian Alliance in WCF. Then, you kept using Kylie until she wisened up and tossed your ass in rehab.
Lilianna interrupts Phoenix.
Lilianna: I use people? What did you do to poor Gwendolyn? Huh? You used her until she no longer served your purpose. Until she wisened up and realized YOU ARE NOT A VAMPIRE! You are a fucking sex offender as far as I am concerned. You held her, and other women, against their will. Locked them in cages....
Phoenix, obviously irate, verbally counter punches.
Phoenix: I never forced anyone to do anything. Gwendolyn, as well as the rest who still live with me at the compound, are there on their own volition. They choose to be on my side. The Moroi will pass judgement on who lives and who dies. Do you want to live or are you ready to make yourself a martyr?
Lilianna laughs and pushes her blonde hair behind her ear.
Lilianna: I can't be a martyr because you can't kill me. You are all talk sweetheart. I know it. You know it. Everyone knows it. You better prepare for the fight of your life. It doesn't matter if you are twenty or two hundred... I will end you.
Lilianna laughs.
Lilianna: Now, if you will excuse me, I have other things that take precedent over you.
We zoom out to see Cray Mitchell tied up to what looks like a wooden wheel. His back is exposed. Lilianna spins the wheel and cracks her whip as we cut back to the announce table.
Clearwater: Remi what was that?
Remi: I think it was Lilianna Rose playing the role of Christian Gray... I truly hope this isn't the last we see of Lilianna vs Phoenix though.
Clearwater: Something tells me this one is far from over.

Andrew Barnes vs. Oblivion
Clearwater: This next match should be interesting.
Remi: Despite their looks, these two aren't that much different inside the ring.
Clearwater: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
Remi: Both have extraordinary brawling and technical skills.
Clearwater: Word, on the street is, that people are talking about this match.
Remi: As they should be.
Clearwater: I think all hype and the talk is done.
Remi: Let's get this match started.
"Demonheart" starts and Andrew Barnes walks out from the back in a white jacket, with "A Cut Above the Rest" on the back in gold lettering; he stops near the entrance and flashes a smile towards the crowd. Andrew makes his way down to the fans, high-fiving anyone with their hands out until he finally makes it to the ring.
Jessica Kaine: Coming down to the ring... from Detroit, Michigan... Weighs in at two hundred thirty pounds... "A Cut Above the Rest"... ANDREEEEEW BAAAAARNES!!!
A very modest entrance as Andrew has no need to pose, he stands in the corner and takes his jacket off, waiting for his opponent.
Clearwater: Andrew Barnes looks very determined. Except a lot from Barnes in this match!!
Remi: There is a cold feel coming over the arena. There's a hush come over the crowd...
Clearwater: Seattle NEEDS The Monster!!
The house lights go out, as lighter colored lights come on. The multiple cameras pan around the jam packed arena. The fans are holding up various signs. The atmosphere is explosive and the crowd is cheering. "Popular Monster" by Falling in Reverse begins to play. A blaring sound begins to play.
The house lights go out. The crowd begins to murmur. Strobe lights begin to flash, as bright white lasers begin to flash. Two bright spotlights hit the entrance stage. The music continues to thump. Some of the fans are thrashing and/or dancing a long with the music...
BOOM!!
Oblivion slowly begins to walk down to the edge of the entrance stage, bringing in the cheers, of the crowd...
Clearwater: Here comes Oblivion!!
Remi: There is something spooky about The Monster.
Clearwater: What is that Oblivion is dragging behind IT?!
Remi: God helps us all!! I think it's a two by four with nails sticking out of it and barbed wire wrapped around it.
Clearwater: I think there's blood speckled of large chunks of something, apparently, hopefully it's NOT human. But, God knows what it is!!!
Crowd: OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!!
Past the entrance stage, there are sixteen hooded cloaked individuals, eight on each side of the aisle, holding fiery torches. The hooded individuals have their heads down. They are chanting...
Clearwater: What... the Hell?!
Hooded Individuals: A-WHOO!! A-WHOO!! A-WHOO!!
Remi: Mike?!
Clearwater: Yes, Remi?
Remi: What are we looking at?
Jessica Kaine: From The Deepest and Darkest Side of a Sick Man's Mind... Weighing in at 325 pounds... IT is The Monster... Oblivion!!
Oblivion is walking down the aisle, dragging a chunk of unrecognizable piece of meat on a two by four with nails sticking out of it and barbed wire wrapped around it. The Monster snears at a nearby camera.
The Dark One flips off the camera. Oblivion slowly runs up the steel steps and climb the turnbuckle from out the ring, once again throwing up IT's massive right arm, roaring out.
Crowd: OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!! OBI!!
Oblivion leaps into the ring, stomping around, taking long strides, barking, shaking the top ring rope.
Clearwater: Both competitors are in the ring, ready for competition...
[DING-DING!!]
Both competitors rush towards each other, but stops...
Clearwater: What?!
The crowd inside The Climate Pledge Arena are at complete silence. Both The Monster and Barnes look into each other's eyes, right before, Andrew Barnes sticks out his hand.
Remi: You shouldn't have done that!!
Clearwater: Yea... Oblivion would eat your arm!!
Oblivion looks at the arm of Andrew Barnes, before slowly raising IT's own arm...
Remi: OH MY GOD!! They're shaking hands!!!
WHOOSH- WHAM!!
The Monster grabs Andrew, to pick him up...
FWAP!!
WHOOSH- WHAM!!
Clearwater: Oblivion is down!!
Remi: Barnes makes a pin cover!!
Crowd: ON-.... NOOOOO!!!
KICKOUT!!!
Barnes picks up The Monster...
WHOOSH- WHAM!!
Oblivion grabs Barnes snap mares him, then runs, bouncing off the ropes...
WHAM!!
The Monster picks up Andrew Barnes...
BOOM-WHOOSH-WHAM!!
Clearwater: Barnes goes for the pin.
Crowd: ON...
KICKOUT!!
WHOOSH- WHAM!!
Clearwater: Barnes goes for the pin.
Crowd: ON...

Clearwater: Andrew Barnes tries to attempt another pin attempt...
Crowd: ON...

The show takes us to a VIP box in the arena where two men are reacting to the previous match. They are arguing over the result of the match as Dani Applegate approaches them.
Dani Applegate: Dave! Mike! How are you liking APW so far?
They look confused.
Dave: How do you know our names?
Dani Applegate: Please. You're Dave Van Dam! You've held multiple World Titles! And you're…
She pauses.
Mike: Yeah, yeah. Get it over with.
Dani Applegate: You're Mike Zybala… and you've… uhh… also done things.
Mike: There it is.
Dani Applegate: How are you liking APW so far?
Dave: The show has been incredible. These are all world-class talents. If they had been around back in my day… I probably wouldn't have had all those World Titles.
Mike: That last match was great! We knew Barnes' old man back in the day.
Dave: His dad was never juiced to gills like that though.
The two men laugh.
Dani Applegate: Is there any chance we'll see the two of you in action in APW sometime?
Dave: It would take a lot to get these dusty, old bones back in the ring.
Mike: Come on, Dave! Do it! DO IT!
Dave: Eehh… ever say never…
The show fades back to the ringside area for the next match.

William the Behemoth vs. Giggles
It's extremely rare for someone to look down to Giggles. Enter William the Behemoth, who stands two inches taller and weighs three times more. Obviously this match is NOT for the Junior Heavyweight Championship. Travis is nowhere to be found this week.
The two bizarre looking wrestlers stand toe to toe. Giggles looks intimidated by William's massive frame. Then he gets an idea. He raises his left hand, signaling for a test of strength. William raises his right hand. Giggles switches hands up. Williams compensates by switching hands. Giggles switches again. Frustrated, William follows along. Back and forth, they keep switching hands… until they engage in a dance contest.
Upbeat pop music plays and the music takes control of their bodies. William is a surprisingly good dancer, and Giggles stops to watch, cheering him on. The music stops and William realizes what just happened. He gets pissed and charges at Giggles, who backs up to the ropes and low bridges William right over the top. Williams crashes to the floor and Giggles celebrates like he won a rumble. William gets up and rolls back into the ring.
He chases Giggles out the other side and around the ring… but he is exhausted after making it to the announce table. Giggles turns back and walks over cautiously, then hands him a water bottle without a cap. William reaches for it and Giggles squeezes the bottle, splashing William's face with water. At least… we hope it's water. William goes after Giggles again but slips on the floor from the spilled water. Giggles realizes the referee had been counting… so he slides back into the ring.
Not wanting to win by countout… Giggles distracts the ref by handing him a colorful handkerchief. The ref grabs ahold of it and pulls as Giggles turns around. He keeps pulling until he realizes it's coming out of the back of Giggles' pants… and it has turned brown. He drops it on the mat and yells at Giggles, who gets taken out by a flying shoulder block from William. Giggles up… and down with another flying shoulder block. Giggles up… and he throws a punch… only to eat a side-reverse spinout powerbomb.
With Giggles down, William carefully hits the ropes and connects with a fistdrop to Giggles in the center of the ring. Suddenly Travis appears at ringside, wearing a yellow cape and red trunks over his pants.
Travis: 🕈︎✋︎☹︎☹︎✋︎✌︎💣︎✏︎ 👍︎⚐︎💣︎☜︎ ✈︎🕆︎✋︎👍︎😐︎✏︎ ❄︎☟︎☜︎☼︎☜︎ ✋︎💧︎ ✌︎ ❄︎☼︎🕆︎👍︎😐︎☹︎⚐︎✌︎👎︎ ⚐︎☞︎ 👍︎☟︎✋︎👍︎😐︎☜︎☠︎ 💣︎👍︎☠︎🕆︎☝︎☝︎☜︎❄︎💧︎ 💣︎✋︎💧︎💧︎✋︎☠︎☝︎✏︎
William tosses Giggles aside and climbs out of the ring to follow Travis. The referee looks confused but he counts William out as Giggles recovers in the corner.

Backstage we see Spartan storming through the halls, looking for anyone with authority. He bursts into the commissioner's office, only to find it empty.
Spartan: What's going on around here?
As he turns to leave, backstage interviewer Troy Butler walks in.
Troy Butler: Hey, boss. I got that---
He stops mid-sentence. Spartan sees a clipboard in his hand. Troy holds it close.
Troy Butler: Oh! Hi, Spartan.
Spartan: Where is everyone, Butler? Everyone is hush-hush about who my opponent is tonight.
Troy Butler: Real shame about Raging Dead.
Spartan: Yeah, it is… but the show must go on… and I've still got to wrestle tonight. Wha'cha got there?
Troy Butler: It's the… uhh… contract for your opponent tonight. He's new to APW.
Spartan: Who is it?
He snatches the clipboard from Troy. He looks confused by the info.
Spartan: Who the fuck is---
The scene abruptly shifts back to the ringside area.
Clearwater: What just happened?
Remi: It appears as if his opponent will be left a mystery… to us, at least.
Clearwater: What a bizarre way to start season three of Metal. Anyway… coming up next… APW World Champion Zaigon Carter is in action against Vonn Richter!

Zaigon Carter vs. Vonn Richter
Second week in a row… APW World Champion Zaigon Carter is set to compete in non-title action packed action. Standing across from him is a man whose muscles have muscles… Vonn Richter. The two beefy dudes meet in the middle of the ring. Zaigon remains unimpressed as Vonn flexes for him. Zaigon hands off the championship to be put at ringside and Vonn clubs him from behind.
Blow after blow. Vonn continues to weaken the champion. Zaigon goes to the corner and Vonn follows in. He puts Zaigon's arms over the rope and delivers a thunderous overhand chop to Zaigon's chest. Zaigon crumbles in the corner, struggling to breathe. Vonn pulls him up and whips him to the opposite corner, following in with a running splash to the champ. He then shoves Zaigon to the mat and covers him.
1…
2…
NO!
Zaigon managed to kick out in time. Vonn gets up and flexes at the ref, threatening to rip his arm off to make the three count himself. He turns around and pulls Zaigon up, whipping him to the ropes. Zaigon holds onto the top rope, halting his momentum. When Vonn gets near, he eats a punch to his chiseled jaw from the champ. A few more heavy hands rock Vonn back to the center of the ring and Zaigon follows up with a discus lariat. Zaigon goes for the cover.
1…

Zaigon managed to kick out in time. Vonn gets up and flexes at the ref, threatening to rip his arm off to make the three count himself. He turns around and pulls Zaigon up, whipping him to the ropes. Zaigon holds onto the top rope, halting his momentum. When Vonn gets near, he eats a punch to his chiseled jaw from the champ. A few more heavy hands rock Vonn back to the center of the ring and Zaigon follows up with a discus lariat. Zaigon goes for the cover.

Spartan vs. Unknown
Spartan has made his elaborate entrance to the ring for our main event. He looks at Jessica Kaine, who is prepared to announce his opponent. The lights suddenly go red and start flashing as "Progenies of The Great Apokalypse" by Dimmu Borgir starts to play throughout the arena. A tall, menacing man methodically walks out from backstage and glares out at the fans in attendance before rushing toward the ring.
Jessica Kaine: Making his way to the ring... weighing in at 275 pounds... from Death Valley, California... HE... IS... APOKALYPSE!
Once he reaches the ring, he slides in quickly and aggressively gets in Spartan's face. Apokalypse removes his vest and tosses it to the corner. The staredown continues after the bell. The two heavyweights lock up. Both men struggle. Neither gains an advantage. Finally Apokalypse pushes his right hand forward and clenches Spartan's face. He pushes Spartan back to the corner, where he uses every bit of the count before being disqualified. He fires off a barrage of chops, wearing down Spartan. He whips Spartan to the opposite corner but Spartan reverses and follows in, connecting with a jumping knee to Apokalypse.
Spartan backs out to catch his breath. Apokalypse runs out with malice in mind, only to be caught with a release belly to belly suplex from Spartan. Apokalypse gets up and goes for a clothesline. Spartan ducks under and connects with a release German suplex. Apokalypse is slower to get up after that and Spartan takes advantage by locking him up in a wrist clutch and delivering an exploder suplex. He goes for the cover.

KICKOUT!
Spartan himself started to wear out from suplexing the big man but it's not enough to break his spirit. The fans are clapping methodically as he pumps his fists. He goes to the ropes, giving a look to the crowd. When he turns around, he sees Apokalypse coming. The big man goes for a big boot and Spartan moves out of the way, forcing Apokalypse to catch his leg on the top rope, then he falls over onto the apron. Spartan reaches over the rope and he pulls Apokalypse up, then wastes no time in delivering a vertical suplex back into the ring. He goes for the cover.

KICKOUT!
Apokalypse kicked out at the last possible second and Spartan is now frustrated. With the fans firmly behind him, he watches as Apokalypse stands up in the corner. Spartan takes off and goes for a spear. Apokalypse moves out of the way. Spartan catches himself before hitting the corner. Spartan turns and runs at Apokalypse, only to eat a running low-angle shoulder block. While Spartan is down, Apokalypse locks on an iron claw hold on his head. Spartan struggles and fights the hold, strong enough to push back up to his feet. Apokalypse transitions to a full nelson, then delivers a devastating full nelson slam. He goes for the cover.

KICKOUT!
Apokalypse is livid. He gets up and argues with the referee, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. Without hesitation, Apokalypse scoops the ref up and destroys him with a snap inverted dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane. The bell sounds instantly and Apokalypse turns his attention back to Spartan, who just gets back to his feet. The two immerse themselves in fistacuffs.
Jessica Kaine: The winner of this match… by disqualification… SPARTAN!

The crowd goes next level bonkers as Spartan hits his finishing maneuver and then poses for the crowd.
Clearwater: It wasn't the way Spartan likes to win a match… but a win is a win is a win!
Remi: You've got that right.
Spartan continues to celebrate.
Remi: What an exciting night of Metal tonight was!
Clearwater: Exciting? It started off with announcing a wrestler's death!
Remi: How can you kill what's already dead?
Clearwater: That's not exactly---
Remi: WHAT THE HELL?!
The lights come back on suddenly. Both Apokalypse and Spartan are nowhere to be seen. There is an eerie mood in the arena as the episode fades to black.
