Character Name: J.T. Walker
Nickname: “The Alpha”
Hometown: Paradise, Nevada
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 250 lbs, muscular build
Alignment: Tweener
In-Ring Style: Strong Style Technical
Bio: Born into privilege, Walker is the Great Great Grandson of Mayme Stocker, the first person to ever receive a Nevada Gaming License. The family eventually divested into real estate. Walker started playing football in Jr High and was recruited by perennial Nevada State Champion, Bishop Gorman High School. It was at that time that Walker started wrestling as well. As good as he was as a linebacker for the football team, he was even better as a wrestler. He won back to back state championships and received a full scholarship to attend UNLV. It was during his sophomore year that things turned bad for Walker. He was disqualified during a match for being too aggressive and accidentally injuring his opponent. He was reprimanded by his coach but things were far worse at home. Walker never had a great relationship with his father. Despite being a standout 2 sport athlete and straight A student, his father was never pleased enough with J.T. At the next wrestling meet, there was another altercation during Walker’s match and in the first round, the referee warned him again for being too aggressive. Walker started to get very frustrated. He looked up into the crowd and saw his father walking out. At the start of the second round he charged at his opponent, lifted him up and performed an illegal throw causing a disqualification. Angered at the referee, he turned and punched the referee. Walker was kicked off the team, his scholarship was revoked and he quit UNLV shortly after that. Walker’s father settled out of court with the referee to avoid J.T. going to jail for assault but as penance forced J.T. to work for the family real estate business… in the mail room. Something that J.T. thought was way below him. That didn’t last long as J.T. quit and was thrown out of the house. Luckily for him, an uncle saw the potential in him and took him in and gave him an executive position in his group of businesses. Let’s just say they aren’t as above board as they should be. J.T. is a good person at heart. He just makes bad decisions at times. He was raised to be the best by his family and when his father threw him out he felt that his legacy was taken from him. Now, at 24 years of age, he has come to Alpha Pro Wrestling to make his own legacy. To prove that he is the true Alpha.
Attire: Out of the ring, he is attired in only the finest in couture fashion. His only jewelry is a diamond pinky ring with the initial W on it. In the ring, he is almost the exact opposite. It’s almost like a split personality. All business. Crimson red and grey ring jacket with ALPHA in block lettering and crimson red wrestling shorts. His wrestling boots are typical black with red laces. He wears black and crimson red knee pads with scripted A’s on the pads. He wears a black towel around his neck with Your End is my Beginning, written on it.
Theme song: Stormbringer by Whitesnake
Pic Base: Think Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, Black hair, clean shaven, attractive.
Entrance: There is silence and a dark tron screen, words appear. FOR IT SHALL BE WRITTEN, THERE CAN ONLY BE.... ONE. “Stormbringer” starts and ALPHA appears for a few seconds and shatters, then the name J.T. WALKER appears and shatters. Scenes of the Las Vegas skyline and casino marquees are shown being blown apart by high wind and rain, smoke billows into the rampway and out walks J.T. Walker. He pauses ever so slightly to look at the crowd and heads to the ring focussed completely at the task at hand. As he approaches the ring he walks up the ring steps, wipes his feet on the apron and enters the ring. He removes his ring jacket and puts it down in the corner. A few moments later Ms. Bloom follows behind nodding to the crowd. She takes her spot in the corner as Walker paces around in the ring waiting for his opponent to be announced or for the bell to ring like a caged animal. He does not acknowledge the crowd, the referee of his opponent. He nods his head to Ms. Bloom.
