APW Presents: KINGDOM COME 5/31/20

The crowd boo proudly as “Glasgow Mega Snake” sounds out the PA System. William marches out, closely followed by ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎. As VBS make their way to the ring, William makes sure to shout back at the fans, with obnoxiously high pitched insults.

Jessica Kaine: Weighing in at a combined 891 pounds!! William the Behemoth! Travis! The Very Big Supervillains!

Eventually they both get into the ring via the steps. William slouched over and tries to catch his breath as ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ lifelessly stares at the crowd, waiting for the match to begin.

Remi: I know I don't need to point this out to anyone, but... Look at the size of these two! They are just massive.

Clearwater: I think you mean that they are Very Big Supervillains! 

Remi: Very big indeed! 

“La, la, la, la
Wait till I get my money right”

“Can’t Tell Me Nothing” by Kanye West pulses through the arena, as America Jackson and Zaigon Carter walk out side by side. Prosperity sits on Mr. Carter’s shoulder, while Jackson sports a smile as he’s trailed by The Troops.

Jessica Kaine: Introducing next at a combined weight of 605 pounds! Zaigon Carter and America Jackson. The Storm!!!

This British crowd is not a fan of these theatrics and boo wildly as America and Zaigon continue their entrance. They enter the ring on opposite sides, posing as the Troops surround the outside of the ring.

Remi: These fans despise The Storm. And you can’t blame them. Zaigon and America less than polite this week.

Clearwater: What they said definitely struck a nerve. These fans are livid. But something tells me that The Storm isn't going to lose any sleep over it. 

Remi: With the crowd against them this match is definitely stacked against The Storm. The size discrepancy between these two teams is insane!

Clearwater: And it’s not like Carter or Jackson are small dudes. America Jackson is 6’5 and 265lbs. Zaigon Carter is a very respectable 6’3 and 240. Those are big dudes.

Remi: What a tall task for your debut match. Opening Kingdom Come in a tag match against two seven footers does not sound enjoyable!

There is no arguing that point as the two teams stands across the ring from one another. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ (Travis) moves towards the middle of the ring to start for the VBS but William pulls him back and alerts him that he is starting this thing off. Across the ring there is a little discussion and then the slightly bigger America Jackson is kicking this thing off for The Storm. We get a bell and we are underway. America Jackson rushes at William and unleashes a series of stiff jabs and kicks that all connect with William. But he simply laughs at America and then shoves him away. America runs forward and throws a big forearm into the chest of William. The big man doesn’t budge. We get a knife-edge chop from America. William still doesn’t move. America is getting frustrated. He finally runs back to the ropes and is going to try for a running clothesline but William has seen enough. He lifts his leg up going for a big boot. America ducks under his leg and runs through to the other side of the ring. America bounces off the ropes. William has turned around and tries to hit another big boot. America ducks under his foot again. This enrages William. He spins around to find America and he rushes towards him. William tries to grab America but the smaller man ducks under his arms and ends up behind William. America immediately starts kicking the back of William’s knee. We get several more kicks and finally, the behemoth is dropped to a knee. America continues his assault on this big man with several punches and forearm shots to the big man’s head.

Remi: Size advantage be damned, America Jackson is taking it to Willam The Behemoth.

Clearwater: I didn’t see this coming! William had me convinced that he was the world’s greatest wrestler!

Remi: Well don’t give up on that idea. Here the big man comes.

William absorbs one last punch and then he slams his arm into America’s chest. This knocks America back a step or two which allows William to get back up. America tries to rush in with another kick but William grabs him around the throat. William slams a fist into the side of America’s head. He then grabs America by the back of the head and throws him into the turnbuckles. Jackson SLAMS into the pads. William lumbers forward and slams his body chest first into America’s back flattening him against the turnbuckle pads. America drops to the mat in a heap. William turns around and just sits down on America’s chest. America’s legs and arms start flailing as the air is escaping him quickly. He immediately clutches onto the bottom rope and William is forced to climb off of America.

Remi: And there is the size advantage coming back into play.

Clearwater: That’s a big boy sitting on your chest. I would not want to be America Jackson right now!

Back in the ring America is crawling towards his corner. Zaigon has his hand extended as far as he can. William turns around and sees this. He stands there watching as America makes it the few feet and tags in Zaigon. Zaigon Carter takes a big breath before climbing through the ropes and into the ring.

William: MIDGET!!!! MIDGET!!!! Come and get it!

Clearwater: Oh, he’s also a poet! What can't this guy do?

Carter doesn’t make any sudden movements towards William. Instead, he tries to circle the big man. William gets impatient waiting for Zaigon to come to him so he moves forward. Zaigon dodges the outstretched arms of William. William tries again to catch Carter but to no avail. Zaigon ducks under William’s arms. He is behind the big man. Zaigon runs and jumps onto Willam’s back. Zaigon has William locked into a sleeper.

Remi: This looks very familiar to the match last week on Metal! William is fading fast will he pass out like last week?

William knows that he has to do something. He turns and looks towards his corner. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ (Travis) is waiting in the corner. He is currently preoccupied with something on his shirt and seems to be completely unaware of the match going on in the ring. William stumbles forward and reaches out for ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎. Travis licks his fingers and starts rubbing the spot on his shirt. In a last ditch effort William lunges forward and tags in the unsuspecting ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ looks around and then realizes that he was just tagged in. He smiles madly and then climbs into the ring. Zaigon Carter realizes that he just traded one beast for another. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ hits the ring and immediately goes after Zaigon. Zaigon ducks a clothesline and slams his shoulder into ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎’s ribs. Zaigon spins and delivers a kick to ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎’s back. We get another kick and now ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ stumbles forward until he ends up at the ropes. Zaigon runs forward and drives his shoulder ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎’s lower back. Zaigon wraps his arms around the waist of ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎. He is looking for a German suplex.

Remi: There is no way! Absolutely not!

Zaigon thrusts back and is able to get ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ up and over his shoulders. He connects with a version of the German suplex that looked a lot more like ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ simply falling backwards. We hear a small pop from the crowd before they realize who they are cheering for. Zaigon covers 1………..KICKOUT before two by ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎. Zaigon pops to his feet as Travis starts to climbs to his. Zaigon hits ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ with a swift kick to the ribs. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ is able to power up to his feet. Quick kick to the gut from Zaigon that doubles the big man over. Zaigon to the ropes he is running full speed ahead at ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ with a running DDT in mind but all of the thoughts in his mind get wiped out when ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ connects with a devastating big boot that forces Zaigon to flip over and crash to the mat hard.

Clearwater: WOW! Huge big boot from Travis!

Remi: I don’t know what size boot that is but I would not want it coming anywhere near my face.

Zaigon is down and out in the middle of the ring. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ looks around. He tools a few steps back and then connects with a running leg drop appropriated called Just a Leg Drop. He lazily covers Zaigon and we get 1………..2……...KICKOUT! ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ climbs to his feet. He bends down and picks Zaigon up off of the mat. He grabs Zaigon around the neck with both hands. He is setting him up for Travis’ Finisher which is a sit-out chokebomb. He begins to lift Zaigon up off the mat but he is stopped when America Jackson comes out of known where with a big shot to the kidneys. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ lets Zaigon fall to the mat and turns to face America. America is already throwing a punch that fits ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ as he is spinning around. This knocks ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ back. America continues to throw punches until ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ is knocked all the way back to the ropes. The attack stops when William the Behemoth tags himself in.

Remi: William is back in and America wisely makes his back on the apron!

William is yelling again about midgets and giving America Jackson an earful. America is trying to point out that 6’5 is not a midget but William is as stubborn as a goat and not listening. Finally William turns his attentions to Zaigon who was finally reaching his feet. William delivers a huge club across Z’s back. Z drops to a knee. William pulls him to his feet. We get an irish whip to the rope. William drops his shoulders going for a back body drop that may have just sent Zaigon out of the ring, but Z stops just short of William. He clubs William across the back of the next and then quickly drops the big man with a big DDT. The ring shakes as William falls to the mat.

Clearwater: WOW! Big DDT from Zaigon Carter but he has had a lot beaten out of him and he’s down too.

On the apron America Jackson is hooting and hollering at Z. He has his arm outstretched. Z starts to come to life and starts crawling toward Jackson. He is within 6-7 inches of America’s outstretched hand when Z’s anke is grabbed by William. William pulls Z back towards him. Z rolls over and drives a boot into the face of William the Behemoth. He hits him again and again with his boot until William finally lets go of his other ankle. Z quickly scoots across the ring and makes the tag.

Remi: Here comes America Jackson!

William was starting to push himself up. America knocks him back down with a quick running elbow drop to the back of Wiliam’s neck. America stands up and hits him with another elbow drop. America turns to turn William over but at nearly 600lbs that is no easy task. America looks around in frustration before climbing back to his feet. He grabs William by the hair and pulls him to a knee. America gives William a kick across the chest and then another. He alternates with a kick to the back and then the chest again. William manages to get to his feet. He eats a few more strikes from America and starts to stumble back towards his team’s corner. Travis reaches over the top rope and tags himself in.

Remi: In comes the Windings man!

Clearwater: I didn’t even know that was a real spoken language.

Remi: Well I’m not sure that it is.

❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎’s speaking style may be in question but the big man’s ability is not. He gets in the ring and blocks a punch from America. Jackson throws another one that is blocked and then ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ levels America with a headbutt that sends America stumbling backward and now it’s Zaigon tagging himself in. He leaps over the top rope and comes at ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ like a bat out of hell. He unleashes some punches and seems to be taking it to ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎. Although, ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ puts an end to that right away with a well-placed elbow to the temple. ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ hurls Z towards the VBS corner. William is just getting situated on the ring apron as Z slams into the corner. Without skipping a beat Z runs forward and tries to hit Z with a running big boot but Z ducks down at the last second and ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎’s boot hits William directly in the chest which knocks the 600lb man off the apron and he comes crashing to the floor at ringside.

Remi: MY GOD! DId you feel that?

Clearwater: There may be a crater in the floor where he landed.

Remi: That is 600lbs of human crashing to the floor.

❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ is not known for showing any emotion in the ring but this catches him off guard. Before he can even process what it happening Zaigon swoops in a rolls ❄︎❒︎♋︎❖︎♓︎⬧︎ up with a pin. Z gets both legs up on the second rope and we get a count.

Remi: His feet are on the ropes!

Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Remi: The Storm did it.! America Jackson and Zaigon Carter pick up the massive win at Kingdom Come.

Clearwater: You mean they STOLE the win. Zaigon Carter’s feet were on the ropes!

Jessica Kaine: Your winners by pinfall… Zaigon Carter and America Jackson… THE STORM!!!!!!!!!

Remi: Here we go!! Some more Tag Team action coming

Jessica Kaine: Hailing in from Boston, Massachusetts, SHE IS LEGIT!!! LAAAATOOOOYAAAAA HIIIIIIIXXXX!!

‘Sky's the limit’ hit's as Latoya Hixx emerges from behind the curtains and curtsy’s down on her custom heel toe, raising up her Sunglasses as she walks down the ramp towards the ring. The crowd ligt up in cheers.

Clearwater: These British fans have been on fire all night, and they're showing no signs of slowing down!

Remi: This is like the fire of London all over again!! THE HEAT, BAYBAY!!

Clearwater: Please tell me you're not gonna be thirsting for the entire match.

Remi: I make no promises.

John Blade’s music begins to play as he walks out on stage. He talks to the camera man and bounces a little. He holds up his “Never Give Up” logo flag and tosses it to the fans. He salutes and runs straight down towards the ring. He bounces off the ropes side to side and he holds up his “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect” shirt. He takes off his hat and tosses his shirt to the fans and hands his chain to the ref, before beginning to test the ropes and do some basic stretches, respectfully.

Clearwater: Hixx and Blade came up just a little bit short last Metal but they're looking as fired up as ever tonight, and they'll be looking to get back to their winning ways.

Remi: They've got some tough opposition to go up against though! Here they come!

The lights flicker in the arena as “Burn” by The Cure begins to play. Kenzi and Sarah Selena Lacklan walk out together. The sound of a screeching hawk is heard throughout the arena as the two execute their signature fist bump. An explosion of pyro erupts as the pair head down to the ring together.

The crowd let out some boos as both Kenzi and Sarah seem apathetic towards the red hot UK crowd.

Clearwater: Experienced, methodical, dangerous. All words that can be used to describe these two, thoughts Remi?

Remi: The Grey-Lacklans work together like a well oiled machine, "Play-by-Pay". Blade and Hixx will have to maintain control for the majority of this match if they want to come out with the W. One slip up could lose them this entire match!

Sarah walks into the ring holding a microphone, with Kenzi on the apron as relaxed as ever.

Just before she speaks however Hixx rushes out of the corner and hits a hard backhand chop, knocking Sarah down.

Clearwater: Oh! A hot start from Hixx here!

Remi: The bell's ringing, this match is on!

Sarah climbs right back to her feet only to be hit by another backhand chop. This time Sarah falls to her knees, before Hixx lifts her back up and irish whips her into the ropes.

She hurdles over Sarah after she bounces of the rope and then turns around.

Clearwater: Hixx looking for a spinebuster here!

Hixx lifts Sarah up but, just before she can slam Sarah back down, Lacklan counters and gets The Legit into a triangle choke.

Clearwater: Solid counter by Sarah!

Remi: Can she fully lock it in though?!

Hixx falls to the floor, and can be heard audibly struggling to escape before Sarah releases the hold via a solid punch to Latoya, knocking the Bostonian down.

Sarah then quickly jumps onto Hixx's prone body and starts hammering her with ground and pound blows.

Clearwater: Sarah's managed to switch the momentum here, using the technical, slow offense she's known for.

After an "Around the World" series of stomps, Sarah drags the temporarily vulnerable Hixx to her corner.

She tags in Kenzie and then they both drag Hixx up for a double jumping DDT.

Remi: Brutal! Harsh spike right to the ground!

Clearwater: This UK crowd is lobbying for Hixx to get back to her feet, Blade is trying to rally them! In a respectful way, of course.

The crowd start rising in noise as Kenzie covers Hixx.

Kickout!

The crowd cheer as Kenzie let's out an annoyed sigh, before lifting up Hixx and hitting her with a Suplex.

Not fully satisfied with that, Kenzie drags Hixx into the center of the ring and is about to run for a sprinvaord move before she stops herself.

She slowly circles the downed Hixx and taunts both The Legit and the London crowd.

The crowd light up in boos, which she smugly and happily accepts before running to the ropes to attempt a springboard moonsault.

Clearwater: Kenzies soaring here and OH-!

HIXX MOVED OUT AT THE LAST SECOND!!

The crowd erupt into cheers as Kenzie struggles to her feet. Hixx is getting fired up by the crowd, and slowly rises to her feet as well.

Kenzie stops this by slapping the kneeling Hixx across the face, and spouting insults into her face.

Remi: Kenzie's doing whatever she can to de-motivate Latoya! To burst the bubble on the crowd here at the O2 arena!

Kenzie whips Hixx across the ring and goes to hit a Clothesline, only to trip as Hixx just about ducks under her arm.

Kenzie quickly whips herself around, but she's too late, as Hixx hits a last chance Wheelbarrow Bulldog leaving both women on the floor, reaching for a tag.

Clearwater: But now this crowd is louder then ever! Is the champ gonna get it? Will Hixx make it in time.

The crowd momentarily seem way as Kenzie manages to get a tag first but then erupt in noise as Hixx manages to make a tag to John Blade.

Clearwater: Blade is in! The Champ is here!!

Remi: I RESPECTFULLY agree!

Blade rushes in, hitting clothesline after clothesline, which eventually knock Sarah down enough for Blade to hit a decisive springboard leg drop.

Blade goes for the lin and the crowd count along with the ref.

No! Kickout at 2 and a half!

Blade keeps his grit though, smiling to the crowd and raising his hands in the air as a signal of what's coming!

Sarah stumbles to her feet as is then booted in the gut, before being lifted up into the powerbomb position.

Blade slams her down once.

Clearwater: There's 1!

And again.

Clearwater: There's 2!

And goes for it again.

Clearwater: And there's 3- oh wait! Look out!

Sarah somehow manages to enter a second wind, lighting Balde up with a laod of open handed palm strike until he's forced to his knees and lets her down.

Sarah goes for a snap suplex, but Blade refuses to be lifted, instead simply throwing Sarah backwards with authority.

Sarah lashes backwards, over the ropes and out of the ring, unknowingly landing on a cameraman too close to the action.

Clearwater: Blade needs some time to recover here. He's uh- What's he doing?

Remi: I think he's respectfully checking in on that crew member. The nerd.

Blade leans though the middle rope to check up on the crew member when, from out of nowhere, Kenzie rushes forward and hits him with an eye poke.

Clearwater: Oh come on! The ref's too busy checking on that fricking crew member!

Remi: Maybe he's checking in the camera. They're very expensive you know, that's probably coming out of his paycheck.

Blade falls back into the ring and both members of the 5 foot 2 Mafia enter the ring. Sarah uses the poor cameraman's head as a stepping stone.

Blade rushes forward, still reeling from his eyes but is then clipped with a Falcon Punch, as quick as a bullet.

Clearwater: Double Punch here! You can hear the Thud!!

Sarah rushes for the pin as Kenzie exits to lay some more boots onto Hixx, still downed outside the ring.

Jessica Kaine: Here are you winners via pinfall, THE 5 FOOT 2 MAFIA!!

The crowd boo as Sarah rolls out the ring, embracing Kenzie as they both joyously make their way up the ramp,laughing at the UK crowds annoyance.

Clearwater: Solid win for the 5 foot 2 mafia here! This crowd is not happy.

Remi: Eh, who cares what British people think anyway! Both Sarah and Kenzie worked well as a team here, keep this up and they may get a shot at those APW Tag Titles!

Soul Reaver vs L Verez ©

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is contested under APW Hardcore Rules! That means no holds barred and no disqualifications! Weapons are not only permitted, but encouraged!

Remi: Hell yeah! London, you’re in for a real treat tonight! This is one of the matches that sets Alpha Pro apart from every other promotion out there!

Clearwater: It is, indeed, Remi. Not only is Alpha Pro Wrestling one of the premiere combat sports organizations in the world, but pioneers in match innovations. Our hardcore division is unlike anything ever seen before -- and so is our champion!

Remi: Dude, she can’t even legally compete! She’s an alien! Like not even from this country, or any other! Plus she’s not even a SHE.

Clearwater: It’s 2020, Jonah. Get with the times.

Remi: I refuse!

Clearwater: After a stunning debut here in APW, L Verez went on to capture the Hardcore Title from former -- and longest-reigning -- #HorrorKore Champ, Zombie McMorris at the People’s Choice edition of Monday Night Metal.

Remi: The same night that Soul Reaver won the opportunity to compete for the Hardcore Title. Speaking of…

"Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult begins playing over the PA system and the crowd starts booing immediate as Bloodline member Soul Reaver and his manager 'Quick Wit' Johnny Class step through the curtains. The giant an his mentor make their way down the ramp and towards the rings. Johnny Class is soaking up the boos as Soul Reaver moves with eyes locked on the ring seemingly unaware of any fans in attendance. They continue their entrance until they finally make their way into the ring where Johnny Class is handed a microphone.

Remi: Reaver charging at a shaky Verez! He’s got her!

Reaver staggers back, away from Verez, but she stays right on him, delivering a running knee that drives him down to the mat. As Reaver starts to find his feet again, the champ brings him back down with another Twist of Fate/snapmare combo!

Clearwater: CELESTIAL DESCENT times two! And the cover!

L pops back to her feet as her music hits to a big cheer from the fans. Before the ref can hand her back the belt, however, Soul Reaver snatches it from his hands and delivers a hard blow to the back of Verez’s head, dropping her to the mat. The crowd’s cheers turn to boos as he lifts the belt up high for a moment, then drops it next to the fallen L Verez. His face expressionless, Reaver leaves the ring as medics rush in the check on the champ.

Mike “The Situation” Matthews vs “The Super-Sexy Boogeyman Slayer” Steven Osbourne

Clearwater: And now for our third title match of the night -- and the only one without a reigning champion to defend it!

Remi: For real, Mikey-bro! Lex Collins just walked away from it all three weeks ago, leaving the North American Championship vacant. And in a twist of irony, the Number One Contender, Steven Osbourne, and runner-up, Mike Matthews, will compete to claim the belt here in the United Kingdom!

Clearwater: I had no idea you even knew what irony was. Good for you.

Remi: ...I know stuff.

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL -- and is for the Alpha Pro Wrestling North American Title! Coming first to the ring…

“Back Up” by The Seige hits the speakers to an enormous pop from the fans as Sitch steps out from behind the curtain, walks to the end of the stage, and flings his arms out wide, a huge grin on his face.

Jessica Kaine: At six-foot-two, weighing in at three-hundred and twelve pounds; from Chicago, Illinois…. He is MIKE “The Situation” MATTHEWS!!!!

Matthews struts down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans, pausing now and again for a selfie as he makes his way to the ring. He climbs up the steels steps and through the ropes, then throws his arms up in the air again to a renewed cheer from the crowd.

Jessica Kaine: And his opponent… also at six-foot-two, weighing in at two-hundred pounds; from… “Sexville”. He is the “Super-Sexy Boogeyman Slayer” STEVEN OSBOURNE!!!

“Fever for the Flavor” by Hot Action Cop begins to play and Steven Osbourne struts through the curtain carrying his trusty address book. He hits on as many women as he can trying to get their numbers as he makes his way to the ring.

Clearwater: Matthews has a clear size advantage here tonight, but Steven Osbourne is known to bend the rules to his advantage.

Remi: That’s called strategy, Mikey-bro!

Clearwater: Sitch taking the fight to Osbourne right away! He grabs Osbourne by the shoulders and lifts him up -- then just slams him right down to the canvas!

Remi: There’s no art to this, but when you’re Matthews’ size, you don’t need finesse!

Matthews lifts Osbourne up for a gorilla press slam, but Osbourne fights his way free and lands on his feet behind the Sitch. Steven nails a kick to the knee, then follows up with a standing dropkick. Sitch just shrugs it off. He turns and makes a grab for Osbourne, this time in a fireman’s position, but Osbourne rakes the eyes and Sitch drops him!

Clearwater: Early cheating from the number one contender.

Remi: Tactics! And anyway, it’s only cheating if you get caught!

Osbourne shoots the ropes and comes back with a flying elbow that staggers the big man. Steven presses his advantage, whipping Sitch to the ropes. He follows up with a leg strike, then starts to drag Matthews’ face along the top rope.

Clearwater: A little rope burn from Osbourne, and now the official warning him off.

But Sitch recovers first and shoves Steven away. He backs up, then charges in with a running forearm that sends Osbourne to the mat! Matthews scoops Osbourne up -- but Osbourne fires back with a series of elbows until Matthews is forced to let go of him!

Remi: Osbourne getting out of the reach of Sitch -- but Matthews isn’t ready to let up! He charges!

Clearwater: BIG BOOT from Osbourne! Osbourne pressing his advantage with a cradle suplex attempt!

Remi: But the big man powers out! Sitch with an inverted suplex! And a cover!

Clearwater: Osbourne with the shoulder up! Matthews pulling Osbourne back to his feet now! Fireman slam! Another cover!

Remi: That’s the resiliency that made Steven Osbourne number one contender! Osbourne back to a vertical base now and catches Matthews with a European uppercut that leaves the big man dazed!

Clearwater: But not for long! Sitch going for another scoop slam attempt, and -- hey! What’s Veronica doing on the apron?

Veronica Anderson is up on the apron, leaning far over the ropes in a revealing top as she calls to Matthews. He glances over at her, clearly puzzled, and that one split second of distraction is all Osbourne needs.

Remi: It’s called a distraction, Mikey-bro, and it worked! A quick forearm from Osbourne and he escapes the Situation! Osbourne with a big double axehandle!

Clearwater: The big man just shrugs it off, though! He whips Osbourne to the ropes -- but the momentum is too much and Osbourne flips right over the top rope to the outside!

As Matthews stalks to the edge of the ring, Steven climbs under the apron and disappears beneath the ring. Puzzled, Matthews leans over, looking for his opponent. The crowd roars to life as Osbourne crawls out on the opposite side of the ring and climbs back up, wielding a baseball bat.

Remi: Look out, Sitch!

Osbourne winds up for a hard swing -- but Matthews turns around just in time to catch it! He rips the bat from Steven’s hands, looks at it speculatively for just a moment… then tosses it aside and shakes his head in evident disappointment. He advances on Osbourne and pulls him in.

Clearwater: Another inverted suplex from The Situation!

Sitch pulls Osbourne to his feet again, and this time puts him back down with a hip toss. He covers!

ONE!

Remi: Here comes Veronica again!

TWO!!

Clearwater: Veronica Anderson breaks up the pin!

Annoyed, Matthews gets to his feet and gazes down at her, but the referee is in her face already, backing her out of the ring. Sitch shrugs and turns back to Osbourne -- only to get a knee lift to the chin!

Remi: Sitch down to one knee now, but it’ll take more than that to put him on the canvas, dude!

Clearwater: Matthews back up, and he’s got Osbourne by the arm! Chickenwing! If he locks that in, he could do a lot of damage to Steven’s elbow!

But instead of locking it in, Matthews releases his grip and sends Osbourne staggering to the corner with a hard whip!

Remi: Osbourne could be in trouble now!

Clearwater: BIG ELBOW to Osbourne in the corner!

Remi: That’s like the impact of a freight train! Here he comes again!

Clearwater: But Osbourne blocks it -- with a chair! Where did that come from?

Osbourne hastily drops the chair, which is retrieved by Amber Del Valle, before the ref sees what’s going on.

Remi: What chair? I didn’t see a chair -- and neither did the ref! Osbourne up the turnbuckles now!

Clearwater: Sitch back up and climbing after him! This guy is relentless!

On the top turnbuckle now, Osbourne and Matthews fighting for dominance. Sitch wraps Osbourne up for a superplex -- but Steven counters with a low blow! Sitch loses his balance and crashes to the canvas!

Remi: Osbourne taking advantage with a roll up!

ONE!

TWO!!

Suddenly, the official stops counting and points to the ropes.

Clearwater: Steven has his feet on the ropes! It’s not a valid pin!

Osbourne backs off under the referee’s direction as Matthews gets back to his feet. As soon as the official looks away, Steven takes advantage with a superkick to the junk.

Remi: SWEET GROIN MUSIC!

Osbourne hurries before Sitch can recover, underhooking his opponent’s arms, hands in a praying position. Straining, he manages to hoist Matthews into the air for a praying mantis bomb!

Clearwater: MISSIONARY POSITION! This could be over! Osbourne hooks the leg!

Jessica Kaine: The winner of this match -- and your NEW APW North American Champion -- STEVEN OSBOURNE!!!

ADV and Veronica Anderson rush into the ring to celebrate with Steven as “Fever for the Flavor” hits the speakers to a big pop from the fans.

“Hey man, nice shot” by Filter starts to play and white and maroon lights start to flash all over the arena. White fog appears on the stage as Jake Karnes steps out of the curtain and he’s pumped up fighting through the fog. As he steps through the fog he points out to the crowd with a grin on his face, he laughs as he speeds down the ramp slapping a few hands on the way before sliding into the ring.

Jessica Kaine: The following triple threat match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Grand Rapids, Michigan… he is ‘The Revenant’ Jake Karnes!!!

Jake push-ups to a standing position and he points to the fans in front of him, before running to the ropes. He throws up a few devil horns as he bounces chest first off the ropes, pushing himself to the center of the ring with a flash of maroon fireworks showering down around him. Jake points to his chest and winks at the camera before backing away to his corner to await his opponent.

The arena goes black within a prolonged silence. When the graveled voice of veteran voice actor Hitoshi Ozawa declares to the heavens : “Ōsama banzai!”

Fans gasp at a sudden gong resounding throughout the arena. Opening riffs of “Der Konig der Dunkelheit” by D play Masuda Jubei’s dominant figure into that darkness with a layer of fog piping beneath his feet. Clips of previous matches play on the Alpha-tron behind him, glittering off his silky black haori. Bearing Masuda’s family insignia, it covers his upper body—all except for a narrow gap fastened by a white and gold cord. He remains atop the ramp, arms crossed and unimpressed by their sundering boos.

Jessica Kaine: On his way to the ring from Yokohama, Japan… weighing 215 pounds… “The Master” Masuda Jubei!

Jubei paces down the ramp after that initial chorus so that his dark presence pervades with that steady rhythm of grand confidence. He circles to the far side of the ring within earshot of the announce table before climbing onto the apron. Jubei disrobes at the second line of chorus so everyone can get a long look at his back tattoo of the Buddhist demon king Fudō Myō-ō. He then ducks into the ring towards center stage. His terrible visage somehow brings on louder jeers. Jubei basks in it while securing his side of the ring, waiting for the match to begin.

Remi: Whether you love him or hate him, Masuda Jubei has had a big impact in APW. He was the first APW Champion. His death left APW reeling. And at God of War we found out that Jubei wasn’t in fact dead. Now he’s back and marching towards the top again.

Clearwater: Whoever leaves Kingdom Come with the APW Championship should definitely keep Jubei on their radar.

The tolling of a bell sounds as the arena falls into darkness. “For Whom The Bell Tolls” by Metallica continues it’s iconic introduction, upon each toll of the bell appears a flash of strobe lighting, revealing a figure in the darkness standing in the centre of the entrance stage, his appearance now revealed by the strobe lighting... it is James Nightingale. Nightingale remains still on the stage, his face half-covered by his intimidating goth-style entrance mask, his eyes focused intensely on the ring. Upon the 4th tolling of the bell, he slowly unbuttons his trench coat without breaking his intense gaze on the ring, revealing “The Angel of Death” in blood-stained writing across the chest of his T-shirt. Following the 7th tolling of the bell, lighting returns to the arena, accompanied by “The Angel of Death” appearing on the AlphaTron, again in blood-stained writing. He cracks his neck from right to left, and finally begins his intimidating march to the ring, his intense eyes never breaking away from his destination.

He stops for a moment when he reaches the edge of the ring before continuing his determined walk around the outside, marking his territory for the war ahead whilst continuing not to break away his attention from the ring. He arrives at the apron closest to the hard camera, tilts his head and climbs up before finally pulling his intense gaze away from the ring.

Jessica Kaine: From The King’s City, England, weighing in at 200 pounds, this is “The Angel of Death”... James Nightingale!

As his introduction is being made he slowly removes his entrance mask and drops it to the floor. He bows his head to the ground, closing his eyes. He crosses his arms across his chest, clasping onto the opposite shoulders. He suddenly pulls his arms away from his shoulders in a downwards motion, signifying the removal of his wings, then throws his arms out wide, forming a crucifix shape whilst looking to the sky and unleashing a primal scream as his name is called. After clearing his lungs of his pent up rage he drops his head and arms back down. He turns with purpose and climbs into the ring, marching over to the turnbuckle to his far-right and climbs up onto the second rope, again striking his signature pose whilst he looks intently to the sky above.

Remi: This crowd is firmly behind the hometown kid, James Nightingale.

Clearwater: Nightingale has an impressive career of his own. He comes to APW and has already caught the attention of many.

Remi: He has indeed. Taking out the Demon Abaddon the way he did definitely left people wondering what will come next for James.

Nightingale jumps down and retreats to his corner, slowly removing his trench coat and T-shirt. He begins to loosen himself up, pulling violently on the ropes. He paces back and forth ready for the fight ahead.

Remi: Folks, this promises to be an excellent match. All three men have had a tremendous amount of success in their careers. Those careers converged in APW and only one man is going to walk out victorious tonight.

We get the bell and this match is underway. The crowd waits in anticipation as none of the men seem exactly eager to be the first one to make a move. This stalemate goes on for another 10 seconds or so and then out of nowhere Jake Karnes takes off across the ring with a fist aimed at Jubei’s head. Jubei blocks the shot and slams his palm into Jake’s chest. This knocks Jake back. Jubei throws an elbow at Jake and connects. Here comes Nightingale! He charges across the ring and drills Jubei from the side with a forearm club. This knocks Jubei back but he is quick to find a defensive stance and he blocks another shot from James. Jubei returns fire with an open fisted shot of his own. James block this and then slams his knee up and into Jubei’s ribs. This doubles The Master over. James tosses Jubei to the ropes. Jubei comes off the ropes fast and nearly takes off James’ head with a clothesline. James ducks. Jubei runs directly into a dropkick from Jake Karnes. The dropkick hits hard and Masuda Jubei drops to the mat. Jake stands up and gives Masuda a kick while he is down and then turns his attention to James Nightingale.

Remi: Fast action to get things start. Karnes and Nightingale are left standing after that dropkick took out Jubei.

Clearwater: Hard right there from Nightingale.

Clearwater called it as James unleashes a few shots that connect with Jake. Jake takes a stiff shot to the jaw and this fires him up. He explodes forward with a forearm shot and then follows thay with a hard knife edge chop! James absorbs the hit and smiles. He then pulls back and gives Jake a chop his own. They each exchange another chop and may have continued the back and forth but Jubei has other ideas. He is back up and takes Karnes out with a flying knee that connects with the back of Jake's neck. Jubei ducks a punch from James and slams his fist into Nightingale's ribs. This doubles over James. Jubei continues his assault with a club across James' upper back. Jubei slams a knee into James ribs and then grabs him and executes a BEAUTIFUL dragon suplex that he bridges into a pin.

1…………….2…..KICKOUT by Nightingale!

Remi: The master showing off some perfect technique. That move was a real beaut!

Clearwater: I only use the word beautiful to describe women and well made hamburgers!

Jake Karnes is back up and behind Jubei. Karnes reaches out to grab Jubei but The Master sensed it. He spins around goes for a headbutt. Jake scouts that and is able to sidestep just enough so that Jubei just misses. Elbow to the side of the head from Karnes. We get another elbow shot. Karnes backs Jubei towards the ropes with some body shots. Irish whip from Karnes. When Jubei bounces off the ropes he damn near gets killed by a Dropkick from Jake Karnes. But at the last second Jubei is able to duck under the out stretched feet of Karnes. Jubei spins to find Karnes. He runs at Jake but Jake sees him coming. Jubei gets hit with a drop toe hold from The Revenant. Jubei hits the mat hard but pops up quickly. He turns to find Karnes only to eat a kick to the gut. Jake shoots in and hits Jubei with a DDT.

Remi: Karnes has looked impressive so far. He has show a lot of aggression so far.

Clearwater: Sometimes that can backfire in these types of matches. It's kind of like the story of the tortoise and the hare.

Remi: Slow and steady wins the race?

Clearwater: No! I mean that I would lay down and play dead while the other two beat the daylights out of each other. Then at the end I'd pop up and steal the match!

Remi: That isn't how that story goes!

Clearwater: If the hare was smart as I am then that is how it would have gone!

Back in the ring. Karnes pulls Jubei to his feet and shoots him to the corner. Karnes goes for a knife edge chop. This straightens up Jubei, who is known for his knife edge chops, he headbutts Jake square on the jaw. He grabs Karnes by the back of the head and switches positions with him. Karnes has his back to the turnbuckle pad. Jubei quickly drills Karnes with one of the hardest knife edge chops you will ever see.

Remi: Look at Karnes’ chest. The red welts are already forming and here comes another one!

WHACK!!! Another chop hits the mark and the crowd gasps as Karnes shouts out in pain.

Clearwater: Masuda isn’t done yet. Here comes another one.

SLAP!!! This may have been the hardest chop yet. Jake yells out again as blood starts to ooze out of his skin. Masuda didn’t appear to be finished with Karnes, but James Nightingale is back in the mix. He runs at Jubei’s back with a running dropkick in mind. Masuda dives out of the way. Nightingale may have missed the intended target but he absolutely lights Jake Karnes up with the dropkick. Jake flops up and over the ropes before crashing hard to the apron and then dropping lifelessly to the floor at ringside. Masuda and James are alone in the ring.

Remi: This is the showdown many have been waiting for!

The men appear to be feeling each other out as they continue to slowly circle each other. Masuda takes a step in and James matches it. Another step from each men and then Masuda bursts forward at James’ legs. He grabs one of them but James is able to escape and ends up behind with a side headlock in place. Masuda shoves James away. James spins and throws a forearm that Masuda blocks with an arm. Kick to the side of James’ leg from Jubei. Jubei throws another kick and this one is caught by James. James shoves the leg and finally hits that forearm strike. James throws another one but Jubei drops to a knee and catches James with a right hook to the gut. James is stopped in his tracks, but he still manages to throw an elbow sideway at Jubei’s head. We get another elbow from James and another one. Jubei is temporarily stunned. James shoots in and connects with a snap suplex. Jubei hits the mat hard but rolls to his stomach and starts climbing to his feet. James shoots in looking to connect with another suplex but out of nowhere Jubei shoots up wrapping his arms around Jame’s waist and delivering a massive belly-to-belly suplex. He goes for the quick cover. 1……..2..KICKOUT by James.

Remi: Impressive back and forth here.

Jubei pulls James to his feet. He grabs James by the head and hits him with a snapmare. James’ momentum rolls him through to a seated position. Jubei pulls his legs back and delivers a devastating kick to Jame’s chest. He pulls back his leg and kicks him again. James rolls on the ground clutching his chest as Jubie looks to continue his assault. Jubei pulls James to his feet. We get what looked like an Irish whip but Jubei doesn’t let go and instead pulls James back towards him. He drills James with an elbow to the chin and James is down. Jubei climbs ontop of James and we get the mounted punches. He gives in several good shots before he is forces away by the ref.

Clearwater: Jubei is in control right now. James is struggling to get to his feet.

Remi: Jubei is looking to finish this one. He’s imploring James to get up.

Jubei was most likely looking for the Masuda Driver. James is pushing himself to his feet. Jubei waits patiently as James finally makes it to his feet. Masuda began to move forward but he is stopped by Jake Karnes who climbed up on the apron. He reached over the rope and grabbed Masuda by the shoulder. Jake spins him around and hits him with a few punches. He pulled Masuda towards him and looked to suplex him over the top rope and to ringside. He nearly pulled it off but Masuda wisely grabbed the ropes and broke this up. Jake throws a punch that Masuda ducks. Jubei hits Jake with a big kick through the middle rope and then clubs him hard across the shoulders/neck. Jake drops to a knee on the apron. Masuda was thinking about hitting a running spear through the ropes on Karnes but he gets caught by James Nightingale who wraps up Masuda and connects with a german suplex. He releases his grip at the top of the arch and Masuda goes flying through the air, flipping completely over and landing chest first on the mat. Masuda rolls out of the ring.

Remi: Big move from Nightingale as he turns his attention to Karnes.

He runs at Jake but Jake catches him with a knee. Karnes hits a couple of hard shots and then grabs the back of James’ head and run him face first into the top turnbuckle. James stumblesback and drops to a knee. Karnes looks out into the crowd and then starts to climb the ropes. Jake is up top with a missile dropkick on his mind. Unfortunately for him, James has other ideas. He runs forward and jumps up onto the second rope. He drills Karnes with a shoulder to the midsection. James throws some punches and next thing we know he has Karnes in position for the suplex off the top rope. James pulls back and CONNECTS with the suplex.

Clearwater: Huge move from James Nightingale!

1……………..2…………………...THRRNOOOOOOO!!!! Jake kicks out. James shakes his head as he climbs to his feet. He yells to the fans that this one is over and they pop for the hometown kid. He pulls Jake up to his keep he kicks him in the gut and then gets him in position for the piledriver.

Remi: Here it comes! MERCY KILLING!!!

James drags his thumb across his throat as the crowd cheers. James goes for and connects with the high angle cradle piledriver. This one would have been over EXCEPT Masuda Jubei is back. James was looking for the pin but he saw Jubei getting into the ring. Jubei shoots at James who ducks a clothesline. Jubei spins and James kicks him int he gut. James is clearly thinking about a second Mercy Killing. But Jubei has other ideas. He is able to shove James away. James comes back and runs right into a saito suplex from Jubei. James hits the mat hard but tries to get to his feet. Jubei hits him with a soccer kick to the ribs. Then another. And another. James somehow pushes himself to his hands and knees. Jubei takes a few steps back and then runs forward slamming his knee into the side of James head. This knocks James sideways and under the bottom rope.

Clearwater: The Master is taking it to Nightingale!

Jubei had all of the momentum but Jake Karnes is back. He is behind Jubei. He spins the former APW Champ around and whips him to the ropes. Masuda bounces off and Karnes was clearly looking for the popup flatliner but Jubei had it scouted and slides across the mat. Masuda with a forearm shot to the kidneys. He then grabs Karnes and gets him in in position for a reverse suplex. He lifts him up and keeps him in the air for a few seconds and then transitions that into the Emerald Flowsion. The crowd boos as Masuda drops down onto of Karnes.

Remi: Masuda Driver! Masuda Drive!

We get the cover 1……………… James is climbing to his feet. 2…………………….James dives through the air… 3!!!!!!! James hits Masuda in the back of the head but it was a split second too late. We got the three count and this one is over. James looks on in disbelief as the bell sounds.

Jessica Kaine: Your winner by submission. ‘THE MASTER” MASUDA JUBEI

Remi: James was right there. He just didn’t make it in time.

Clearwater: Heartbreaking loss for Nightingale. That is for sure.

Remi: And a big win for Jubei!
