Minneapolis, Minnesota is the place where Monday Night Metal will see Aaron Blaze in action as last week, Milwaukee, Wisconsin wasn’t so lucky. But those tuning in to watch APW on Netflix and those in the arena, will. Now Minneapolis has seen some great tag teams come through their city. Some were even homegrown talent such as The Highflyers (Greg Gagne & ‘Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell), The Road Warriors and The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Gene, Lars, Ole & Arn Anderson) so those tag teams were great. Now you have Damien Kaine and the returning from the dead Masuda Jubei taking on Jason Ryan and Aaron Blaze of The Bloodline.
Over the last few weeks, The Bloodline has become a joke around APW and not living up to the standards that they had set when they arrived. Some have been let go and recently has seen trying to part ways and do their own thing, so what does that mean for Aaron? While he remains loyal to the group, it seems that he’s slowly becoming the “Black Sheep” of the group as one is making a name for himself on another level, while the creator of the group is paving his own path outside of The Bloodline. So that just leaves Aaron to hold the fort but with only Three members, how effective is The Bloodline in APW? Because of the lackluster that the group has been having, it’s caused doubt in Aaron so with that said, let’s get back to my previous observation of Tag Teams.
APW.com has been seeing the story of Masuda Jubei play out about a death or faked death or something like that, I haven’t been paying attention because in fact, it’s boring reading into it and it’s like reading a short story or novel. Speaking of death, I want to just note that the death of Cryme Tyme’s Shad Gaspard is tragic. An athletic young (39) athlete taken away by a swimming accident is just that, tragic. From one tragedy to another tragedy of putting Damien Kaine and Masuda Jubei against The Bloodline? That’s proof that death comes in Threes (3’s). Jubei supposedly died once and now it’ll be for good as we, The Bloodline, proclaim this meeting his last and final stand. As for Damien, he’ll be a witness to it all.
Going live every week to showcase the brutality that The Bloodline is capable of every week on Netflix, is what the group was intended to do. But with losses and the group not causing havoc after is just proving that a group that was intended to provide fear and destruction, is now nothing more than a novelty act to provide entertainment to you who tune in to watch. This is the biggest argument that Aaron has been trying to get the group to do, but as stated earlier, everyone wants to do their own thing. Because of this, tension has shown again within the group and that has put a strain on Aaron who’s wanted to hold the group together while also trying to make the group a force to be feared.
So now we get to the night at hand and inside the 3M Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Metal will take place. This might be the first time that really all members of The Bloodline have been in a match together since becoming a team. While this includes all members, the focus here is on Aaron as he talks with APW’s DANI APPLEGATE. So let’s paint this picture.
Aaron arrives at the arena in typical Bloodline fashion in a Black SUV. While there are no other members with him, what’s unusual is he is wearing not his usual Bloodline t-shirt, but his newly designed shirt. He walks into the building with his rolling suitcase in one hand while his skateboard is strapped to his back. After signing in and walking down the hallway, he does something odd and that is not going to The Bloodline locker room. Instead, Aaron walks to a vacant locker room and those he passed on his way in, they noticed and word spread to those who could get answers, and so entered DANI APPLEGATE. So now that we have the picture, let’s get to talking with Aaron.
[Locker Room Talk with Aaron Blaze]
Aaron had already settled in the pretty basic setup of a room when the knock came to the opened door of his room. In typical fashion, there stands your interviewer and a cameraman like they’re connected at the hip or something. Waving for them to come in as he’s without his shirt and putting on his face paint, the camera sets up and as Aaron comes out to meet them, he picks up his NEW shirt draped across the back of a chair. Putting it on and sitting on a sofa in front of the camera, it begins to record. Seeing the Red light on, Aaron looks at Dani and says…
So we’re getting right into it? Okay then. Where do you want to start?
Dani Applegate: Wherever you’d like to start. Tonight, you and the rest of The Bloodline are in a match...a Six-Man Tag Match but yet we’re here in a different locker room?
Don’t look confused, you’re right, we’re in a different room because The Bloodline is completely different now that what it was. Don’t play a Blonde and tell me you didn’t see it. It’s been in front of everyone for so many weeks now. Ever since the guy that nobody is supposed to mention up and left, we’ve not been the same. No, actually, it was before he even came that we haven’t been the same. See, The Bloodline stands for anyone who crosses that line, their blood will be poured out for everyone to see because you don’t cross The Bloodline. But it seems that I’m the only one who knows how to stand up and keep that cause going.
Going back to my debut, I lost but I promised that I would get revenge and what happened? I did. I got caught up in another match and that’s where I joined this group and it was us who put up a hell of a fight. We didn’t win but we came close. It seemed like after that, this group wasn’t on anybody’s radar. When you’re a group, you have the numbers in your favor so you can call whatever shots you want. If you want to make yourself then you have people to back you up to do it. But that’s not what’s going on. No!
I’m loyal to a fault and don’t get me wrong, The Bloodline took me in because they saw what I can do. I don’t bite the hand that feeds but when that hand is no longer feeding, then that makes me look somewhere else for what I want. That’s exactly what’s happening because who has been pulling off wins lately for The Bloodline? Me! Exactly, and what do I have to show for it? Certainly not a title shot or anywhere close to one. No, I get stuck in a tournament with a guy who couldn’t carry a jobber title if you stapled it to him. And even there, who got the wins in that one? Me, again. So we go back to more Bloodline matches and we win some and lose some, but that’s the game and we all play it. Now I know this is all one-sided here but you’re getting what’s been on everyone’s mind and probably yours too.
Now we go into this match tonight, a Six Man Tag where FINALLY all members are in the match together. Name me one time that since this team was formed that you saw all of us in the same match? You haven’t because management doesn’t want that. They don’t want to see a team that said they were going to take over APW, actually accomplish that. Are they scared that we’d make APW better? We certainly can’t make it worse. So who is put against us?
Damian Kaine, who has a history with this company as being a former General Manager. I wasn’t here then so I don’t know how he was, but he left to do his own thing and now he’s back. Why? To make APW great again? Please, he’s gonna have to do a lot if that’s gonna happen. His first mistake right now is stepping in the ring with me in this frame of mind I’m in right now. I don’t care what he did in the past because that was then, this is now and his future is going to be just like everyone else that I’ve faced already, Coffin Drop and then he sees nothing but the lights while he’s laying on the mat.
Then you have his partners, Masuda Jubei. Didn’t he die or something? So I’m facing another Zombie here? This isn’t the first time our paths crossed and it won’t be the last, I’m sure. Or did he have a near-death experience? If The Bloodline was as originally planned, that wouldn’t be the case. So Masuda lives to fight another day and today is that day.
Now we get to you, a man I congratulated for becoming the new Hardcore Champion, L Verez. You did something that I couldn’t do or well, no, I didn’t have the chance to do and that was to face the former champion in a Singles match. But you beat Zombie McMorris and took that title and now you’re in a match with me. It seems like the Hardcore title is always around me somehow but never around my waist, but that’s fine. I congratulated you on your win and now I’ll be able to congratulate you on your loss too.
Everyone knows I love the Hardcore style and everyone knows that I live my life on the edge but there’s only so much you can do until you go over the edge. No I’m not talking about death and that Pay-Per-View where that guy died, I’m talking about going over the edge and snapping so that you become a lunatic or have that psychotic break. That’s what it seems like is happening right now because I’ve done all I can for this group to get it together. I’ve tried being a peacemaker and then my efforts to make this team great, just crumbles because there’s no structure. There’s no game plan but tonight, my plan is to do what I do every week and that’s put asses on the edge of their seats. So while this match may be my exit out of The Bloodline, this is my redemption for everything that has led up to this point.
From the fight on an island to having a gun pulled during a Hardcore match, to having an actual wrestling match, I’ve only just begun to have my name go down as probably the hardest worker this company has of this new year, and I’ll be damned if any of you Three are going to keep me from proving that just like everyone else has found out. Masuda, you know, so maybe you should tell these boys exactly who I am. As far as after tonight goes, if I walk out of this match or if I have to be stretchered out, you’re going to know that I am who I always said I was and that’s the guy who never backs down and never quits. I paint my face Black and White but tonight, when it’s all over, I’ll paint my face with your blood. You’ve been warned and soon you’ll realize why I have no fear. You’ll realize that pain is my friend. You’ll realize that tortured cries bring me to smile. And when you bleed and your bones break, it becomes a symphony composed by the devil himself”.
Aaron lowers his head and starts softly saying a chant or grouping of words as he closes his eyes.

Aaron lowers his head and starts softly saying a chant or grouping of words as he closes his eyes.
“FEEL….MY….PAIN….FEEL….MY….AGONY….FEEL….MY….FEAR
CUT….ME….DEEP….SEVER….MY….PAIN….BECOME….WHAT….YOU….FEAR
FORGET….FEELINGS….ALL….MUST….SUFFER….BECOME….WHAT….YOU….FEAR
FEAR….WHAT….WAITS….FOR….YOU”
Lifting his head back up slowly and looking at the camera, his eyes are now Red as if he was high or he was wearing Red contacts, but he spoke softly.
“Pharaoh died in a watery grave and those who served him died too. Tonight, I stand with those I’ve stood with before but when the night ends, I serve with them no more. Prepare for your damnation is written and tonight shall come. The Trio that was once The Bloodline will shed Three more souls and our next meeting will be your enlightenment. Go, the time is at hand for our arrival. Prepare the best you can as we take over the land surrounded by posts and rope. Tonight, your vessels will be consecrated for our partaking and in the end, my redemption will be complete as the circle comes to an end.
Feasting at the table of The Bloodline has proven that there is no order but only self serving. This brings me to quest my own journey and pursue darkness among those I see fit. My eyes look ahead and those behind me lay broken in my shadow. Tonight an awakening takes place of not the man you once knew as a follower, but a new...creature”.
Aaron smirks as he bows his head and slowly lifts his arms outstretched, with his palms upright forming a claw. The camera begins to static before abruptly shutting off which leaves the cameraman pondering what’s happening.
{Off-Camera}
Aaron is still seated in the same position and begins mumbling various phrases and words that begin freaking Dani and her cameraman out, and they hurriedly get up and exit the room.
