Because he selflessly gives us a pat on the back, here's somewhere we can give back to him:
1) "...But then I read such an interesting name across the VEE ESS from mine. Ma...su...da...Ju...bei…” The nameimminates emanates from his lips like a dark secret.
"
I like this because it mentions me, foremost, but because we get the first taste of the voice we have all come to enjoy. (Jubei) And the typo makes him human, which means he bleeds.
2) I am telling you that this is our moment to chisel our names into the structure of life! The first date set of a company that could go belly up the week after but that won’t matter because in this cloud of the unknowable, in this tangled web of anticipation to see what this company has to offer, we are at the top of the list! The very thing they are all waiting for! There is no better time to call your shot and absolutely obliterate the barrier that keep us human!”
I could not put our places anywhere closer here. Alpha Rising was so open, new and fresh. Like the first blood through brand veins; or in layman terms, pissing in blue toilet water. We began to learn what makes Braxton a unique object each week. I also just like the fatalist language--something that has personified his matches to date.
3) I don'y know how he made the text invisible, but that was fucking cool. (Jubei) Parlor trick....
4) But he is only one of the masks I wear. If you meet Sammy, then consider yourself lucky. Because, Sammy doesn’t hate you. Sammy is self-absorbed. He is indifferent. But he isn’t malicious. When I created these personas, I didn’t get to choose what came to me. I merely unlocked the gates and what was inside just came out. And it is safe to say that I wasn’t ready for what was inside. I hope Sammy stays for a few more months. I really don’t want to change just yet. Give me some time. Give me some time. Give me some time.
Mission statement to end all paragraphs: What else can we say here besides another lesson in the mind of a calmly unstable yet expertly calculated mind. Also, great use of repetition--gives me thoughts of Richard III "A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse..." (Jubei) That's my line... bakayaro
5) “It wasn’t good enough...”, He mumbles to himself as he stares into the red brick wall ahead of him. Not crimson but maroon in a sun bleached sort of way. “It wasn’t good enough!” He stands to his feet which still ache in his big leather boots from the pounding on the sidewalk.
Work never finished, and in other ways, it gives us reason to keep asking questions. Nicely veiled while still giving us that threatening persona to expect oh his Sammy side. The exchange also shows what makes him a discursive force to reckon with in so many ways.
6) Lastly, I enjoy his candor on Twitter. Braxton uses his handle and engages in a variety of supportive, even welcoming dialogue to bridge him and opponents. Its overly professional tone and educated diction also creates that stark divide for every match. Another convoluted edge to an impossible surface.
