Tsu, are you REALLY ready for this?
I mean like ready READY?
I mean like ready READY?
As I can be. I have no other choice.
Well......I got your back Moon Sister
Thank you.
The scene fades in to reveal the worn, dirtied canvas that often covered an Alpha Pro ring; a ring that the dedicated crew always kept care of. However, as interesting as that entire process may be, there was a singular object that bore the primary focus of the camera; a red and white fox mask that bore a third eye and held four bells from its tassels. As the camera kept its prolonged focus upon the mask the lights abruptly go out and stay out for several moments before a lone spotlight came to life from high above the ring; revealing a woman wearing the fox mask and sitting seiza style in the center of the light. Clad in black and silver; the woman's distinct Japanese dialect echoed through an empty arena as conveniently placed subtitles appeared upon the screen.
"Alpha Pro Wrestling.....
Monday Night Metal.....
How long has it been since the Shimmering Kitsune has TRULY graced these beloved four corners? How long has it been since she TRULY stepped into this ring to bring what you all desire so? How long has it been since these warriors tasted defeat......tasted the absolute destruction of their simplistic delusions that they cherish so?"
As she spoke, the woman slowly looked lowered her gaze downward till her gaze was left lingering upon her knees; allowing those three questions to hang within the invisible confines of the mind. Fortunately, for all; she was not one to simply leave things answerless like that; the visual confirmation of this was when the mask she wore snapped back upward to stare back into the camera.
"It has been FAR too long......"
Suddenly, three more spotlights came to life behind her; revealing visages of three people standing behind her.
"It has been far too long and yet I find myself in the midst of battle for the right to challenge for the Alpha Pro Junior Heavyweight Championship; a championship that I have already bore the pride of holding twice before. I admit; this was not something I ever thought I would be competing for once more nor so soon if I ever did. Yet, the powers at be deemed that it necessary that I do so....
Alex Scott....
As the one that tore the Junior Heavyweight Championship from my grasp the responsibility of this downward spiral of prestige falls to you. You may think that it isn't so, but the reality is that you FAILED to continue with that same fiery spirit that defeated me all those months ago. For sixty-seven days you FAILED to not only represent this company, but also every single person that came before you that had the honor of calling themselves the Alpha Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion...…
I'm truly disappointed...…
I'm disappointed in myself as I am with you; I knew that you were not yet ready, but I did nothing to rectify what had been. This pain is something I have bore within me since that very moment. Its a pain that I very much plan on healing when the two of us stand within these ropes once more; as is my reasonability for failing the both of us.
Rest assured, Scott-kun, this Fox has learned since our last encounter.
Can you say the same?"
With a thunderous echo, the spotlight that shone down upon the visage of Alex Scott abruptly shut off; leaving two more illuminated.
"Lazer Blazer……
The Man...…
The Myth...….
The Hero of Heroes that stands amidst the ranks of those eternally underrated; of those that truly bear the purest of honor, but is forever looked down upon.....
Know that, despite what happens within this ring on Monday Night Metal, I am one of those that truly admires your dedication and limitless courage that you carry within your soul. However, as much as I admire and desire to emulate such a fierce tenacity, when we cross paths be prepared for when demon's within me tears through the ranks of beloved Lazer Brigade; for what is small group of mortals to the incontrollable spirit of a Kitsune?
Blazer-kun, Monday Night you shall experience what the likes Steven Osbourne and Jaice Wildes have; the shattering of your perpetually optimistic delusion through the sheer power of my Moon Breaker."
Though comparatively brief compared to what she had spoken in regard to Alex Scott. the spotlight above the visage of Lazer Blazer went out; leaving only one left.
"Cray Mitchell...…
The Guru of Greatness...…"
Pausing for a moment, the woman looked over her shoulder tot he visage of Cray and back to the camera; slight humor coloring her voice as she spoke once more.
"Really?
Pardon my rudeness, but I am starting to feel like anyone can become a so-called Guru of something nowadays; making the title completely meaningless. Yet, do not mistake this as me overlooking your abilities or making light of what you may be able to do within this precious ring of ours; in fact, I am very much looking forward to clashing with you...….
Mitchell-kun; I'm looking forward to shattering your VERY essence. After all, you are the MOST delusional over of everyone that stands in my way on Monday.
Do try to prepare yourself; for the sake of everyone."
With those final words, the remaining two spotlights switched off; leaving the entire scene covered in complete darkness. That is, until a single spotlight abruptly switched back on; revealing the Kitsune laying upon the worn canvas once more.
Why are you doing this? Can't you just stay home? Are we that much of a burden to you?
Never! Never say such things!
But you left us to go fight! Why?
You will understand one day.
