Prepare For Your Fall

Fading up from a Black screen, the camera scene we’re watching is outside of the Taco Bell Arena, where the night’s live Metal event is taking place. A Black SUV pulls up to the sidewalk as the side door opens and out steps Aaron Blaze. Handling a suitcase and dressed in a Black suit, Aaron is soon approached by an APW backstage agent. He’s then escorted into the building, through the hallway and to The Bloodline locker room. Unknown to those that were focused on the SUV, there was another individual in the SUV. With the camera’s off and the scattered fans that were around, the “coast was clear” and that individual exited the truck.

While that person may be a mystery, what happened next isn’t. Aaron had just walked through the door and on the other side, inside the building, Aaron met with fellow Bloodline members Soul Reaver and Jason Ryan. Tonight’s show, you can say, could be called Gods of Wrestling: The Fallout, for those erection or climactic smart marks who think every week should follow a story. That may be true but shut up and listen, we’re The Bloodline and we don’t give a damn about anyone’s order but ours. If you have a problem with it then tough shit because we’re the ones in the ring, not your hermit-habit, self-isolated, sitting on the couch stuffing your face wondering why you can’t look like what you see on TV because you’re too busy trying to be the next contestant on The Biggest Loser, giving you real entertainment beside having to spend Five dollars a minute and the curtain falling lets you know when your time’s up. Speaking of time’s up, it’s time to talk about the future instead of the past and well, let’s talk about the recent future and that’s the fact that a repeat or rematch from Gods of Wrestling is going to take place. Yeah, one team won’t be around, The Marsupials of Mayhem have either gone back to the zoo, or they maybe got signed to Chikara. I hear that it's a comedy wrestling company.

Regardless of where they went, that just means another tag team couldn’t take the heat that APW gives every week. But enough blowing smoke up management’s ass, let’s talk about that other team that was in that match at Gods of Wrestling. Those are the two that will step into the ring tonight to face The Bloodline yet again. Is it revenge on the mind? Is it redemption? Or is it just because APW has nothing for them and so they’re put in a match with the same team that beat them just days earlier, hoping for a different outcome? Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but that’s not going to happen. It didn’t happen that night, it won’t happen tonight, and it won’t happen any point in time you two decide to step in the ring with us again. But enough talking, you want a visual? Here you go then.

{Location: The Bloodline Locker Room}

Inside the room where Aaron and Jason are sitting and talking with each other, Jason gets a phone call, takes a shower or leaves the room for something and as he’s leaving, he’s laughing and that laughter behind the metal door is heard by a cameraman walking by. Ryan walks past the cameraman who catches the door before it closes. Aaron brings him in and hears laughter coming from the corner behind the door. As the cameraman goes to turn, Aaron stops him.

[AB] “Whoa, wait. Don’t turn around. Just as the man who shall not be named, this man shall not be seen...yet. His revealing will come in time but tonight the time comes for another encounter for you Latoya Hixx and John Blade. It’ll be good to….see….you John and Latoya, it’s always your pleasure. I just can’t put my finger on it though, we’re in Idaho so which one of you is ‘da hoe’?

The man behind the door raises his hand and snaps his finger and the demeanor of Aaron changes. The not even slapstick humorous joke he just told, he began to laugh at before suddenly stopping with no expression on his face. His voice deepens and sounds more calculated as he turns his head slightly to the side.

“Latoya Hixx and John Blade, you two remind me of me when I first got here. I lost my debut and I said I would get my retribution and I did that. Now you two are trying to tap into my past and think that outcome will turn out for you, but it won’t because you two are well...you and we are the most reckless…” (he turns his head towards the TV mounted on the wall as the man behind the door presses [Play] on the remote). As you recall, Aaron was the man who pinned Latoya Hixx at Gods of Wrestling Pay-Per-View. Aaron who points at the TV and plays a clip from the Gods of Wrestling event. “See, right there (the image shown is The Bloodline jumping the railing), that right there is why you should never disrespect us. You should never turn your back on us. You should never doubt us because you never know where we’ll come from. Let me get to (the man fast forwards the match until…) here we go. I’m on the top rope and watch (the video plays just before his Mannequin spot) look at that height! Can you believe it? (Turning to the camera) why did I show you that? It’s simple. When it was Three teams, the Trinity, it came and it was time for prophecy to come and nobody believed. Everybody doubted but we knew that the pestilence that is Marsupials of Mayhem, they would have to be exterminated.

The man behind the door stops the video as Aaron continues speaking.

"Did we need the extra help of this match being a Triple Threat Tornado Tag with no disqualifications? No. Did it help in our favor? Of course because I’m standing here telling you that we did exactly what we said we were going to do and that’s win. It’s about time people started realizing around here that The Bloodline is going to take over APW one way or another. So if that means that we have to do this all over again, then it looks like we have to go down that road again.

So tonight’s match with Latoya and John, they want a rematch why? Is it because they were the ones that got beat? Is it because Latoya was the one who lost the match and wants to redeem herself tonight? If us beating them at Gods of Wrestling wasn’t enough, they want another chance in the ring with us. They either want another beating or they actually think that now that they know what we’re about, they think they can get revenge. News flash, what we did to you was just a taste of what we can do. So don’t think that this meeting again is going to have a different ending. We proved why we are the best and it’s only a matter of time until we have Gold around our waist. If so, that’s good but that’s not what we’re here for. It’d be nice to have but we’re here to take over. We don’t care if it’s taking over APW or the tag division around here, whenever you think that we’re not watching, we’re always in the shadows. So keep your head on a swivel because we have our eye on everything.

Remember that promo I did at Gods of Wrestling? About how you both are consistent? You lost then and well, History is going to repeat itself again when you face us again. I’m actually surprised that it’s you two facing us when it should be...wait a minute, that’s right, those Marsupials ended up back at the Zoo. I guess it’s your lucky night. We had so much fun beating you then, I guess we could use some sparring partners seeing how there’s no real talent in this company for us. Man Made Gods are scared to put those belts on the line and they’ve got a dance partner so looks like you’re ours for the night. Latoya, I’d say we could take you out to dinner but The Taco Bell Arena is probably all we can afford right now. But what can we find for John? He’s hard to see (he waves his hand in front of his face) and toddlers could write better promos, so this Tag Team Match is going to be a Handicap Match and John’s the handicap.

It’s going to be a pain to have to disfigure your beautiful face, Latoya, but you chose the bed you want to lay in. What should I call that? A Bella complex? I’ll explain in further detail if need be but I think you get the picture. Why don’t you just do yourself a favor and join The Bloodline because you’re just going to go down with the sinking ship. APW is doing nothing for you except feeding you to the wolves and showing you that there’s more out there but they’re holding you back from getting it because they want to see you starve. That’s why the mission of The Bloodline is to pillar and plunge everything this company has because we’re not going to sit back and watch those cut us in line. No, we take what’s ours and those who stand in our way, they can choose to move or be moved. You two, you have no choice right now but to be moved thanks to management who put you in this place.

So go ahead and take your time to think about that decision. Think about the offer that’s on the table for you. Think about what you’re about to get yourself into again and think about the outcome and how you know it’ll happen again. But don’t just think that. No, see, it’s not just a fact but a promise. It’s a guarantee, it’s inevitable, it’s divinity, it’s prophecy, it’s fate that you both are nothing more than pieces of meat dangling in front of The Bloodline for us to devour. Management has nothing for you except making you the company Jobbers. So ask yourselves, are you tired of getting scraps thrown on the floor for you or are you ready to slide back from the kids table and join us at the adults table? Don’t worry, take your time, there’s no expiration date on this offer but in the ring, what must be done….it will be done”.

Aaron walks over to the man sitting behind the door and is handed the remote. The man slowly stands up but is in the shadow still of the door. Aaron has his hand on the door and tells the cameraman…

“It’s time to go so we can get ready”. The cameraman packs up his camera and exits the room. The sound of a cold Bud Light bottle opening is heard as the POP sounds. The sound catches the cameraman off guard and he turns to see an image of a man but in the shadow still, just as the door closes. Taking the remote and changing the channel to the Input station that shows a live shot of inside the arena, he takes a seat on the sofa. “There we go. We’re on Fourth so I got time to enjoy some of the show”.

The unidentified man answers, “get a closer look but wait for the others”.

{During The Card}

Aaron took what was said by the unidentified man at his word and when it came time for the event to begin, dressed in a Black hoodie to where his face-paint was concealed, Aaron would…

Aaron would walk through the hallway and stop just before a curtain that was blocked off for only APW employees. Standing near a member of the arena security, with his arms folded and his face still hidden, Aaron watched. As the match went on and ended, the random members of the crowd would walk by but Aaron would turn his face or pull on the strings of the hoodie to further hide his face.

Just as the match before, Aaron watched but was called away after the entrances, by an APW employee who said that the other Bloodline members were looking for him. Walking back to the locker room, Aaron got a feeling of someone watching him. As he turned, the man who was in the room with him, casually walked by him and patted him on the back. The two walked to the locker room where Soul Reaver was preparing for his match. Aaron walked inside and began to introduce the unknown man.

{Location: Locker Room}

[AB] “Soul Reaver, let me introduce you to……..”

After the introduction and hand shakes, the man would say a few words to Soul Reaver, after revealing his face.

[AB] “Jase, I told you I had a man coming to change not just The Bloodline but help change APW. We will now walk above everyone and with this man, everyone will fear us”. 

“Aaron reached out to me to not just ask for guidance but to come and partake of your quest. APW is feeble and though our number is few, we will succeed in the mission. I’m here to make sure that APW believes. They will believe in the fear”.
