Best Lines of the Week MNM S01/E01

So this is something I've seen done before in many variations but haven't been able to do myself in past feds because I don't have the time but with the word limit being 3k, I think this is something I will be able to find time for.
Basically I am going to read all the RPs of the previous week and take the best line from every promo and post them below, hopefully with a little explanation as to why. So, without further ado...
"You wanna make a deep cut in the face of APW, Sammy Badmoon?? I’m right here. Why don’t you dig a big, bloody crevice into my cheek, my forehead, my quadriceps? Come get me! Kick out an eyeball. Snuff out a dream. Why don’t you come dominate me and make me question my very future in this business? Take me out like it’s just that easy, Locus. Hurt me. Break my spirit. Pulverize my body. Stop me for good. This is a high profile must-win match for both of us. Neither of us wants to walk out of here as the loser in a match that will clearly define the victor as THE Alpha! In the absence of the APW Title, this still feels a lot like an APW Championship Match, doesn’t it?"
- Smith Jones, "Be" versus Braxton Locus on Monday Night Metal - I liked this because not only because it feels like you are trying to call Sammy's bluff as well as show no fear but I think you hit the nail on the head with saying that it feels like a Championship match without a title. That is exactly what it felt like to me.
"Yet from them you begin to wonder where those who feared darkness now turn. Because nothing frees a coward’s soul like the death of monsters."
- Masuda Jubei, You Don't want to be There When I Get Up - I find this line incredibly poetic and effective in stating its point and encapsulates Jubei so well I think.
"I aint never faced Tom Ambrose before but I hear he’s one H-E double ECK of a competitor."
- Lazer Johnson, PEW PEW, POW POW POW - This line literally made me wheeze.
"The rest of the ride is quiet, aside from Nyeos fingers tapping furiously at his phone, setting up a triumphant party to distract his thoughts from everything. Foremost amongst the ideas that he need to drown is a quiet, hopeful one: “Maybe I could tell him…”"
- Nyeo Son, The slut, triumphant... - consider me a sucker for those moments where a rude-ass, cynical, character has a moment of humanity.
"he walked out of the offices feeling a little more secure as this place while still full of greenhorns has-beens never was and that was just the backstage and executives"
- The Road Dawg, the road dawg arrives ......... - GOT 'EM! The whole board of directors just got ROASTED!
"He’s like, my idol. I’ve looked up to him for years. When I think professional wrestling, I think of Tom Ambrose."
- Lazer Johnson, The Lazer Blazer Brigade - It is hard to choose one line but the fact that in a second RP that you go from just hearing about him to him being your idol is the fucking best thing. Lazer Johnson is my favorite wrestler.
"We all make mistakes in life. Some mistakes turn into beautiful gifts of life. Not many people knew this but last year, I had a child. A beautiful little girl that I named Francesca, after Frankee of course. Remember, I stated that some things in my life were kept a secret. Much like Drake, I hid Francesca because I didn’t want her wrongfully judged for my past and my mistakes. Francesca is going on two years old and her father, my old manager Dustin Lillard, is not in her life or mine really."
- Lucy Sixx, A-ROCK-ALYPSE: Chapter 2: Revelations - something about this paragraph is so deeply effective. A well done delivery on such a personal fact.
"I’m going to have to Jackson Pollock the canvas with your blood, and show everyone what happens when you run across a human molotov cocktail with nothing to lose."
- Trent Page, ...While Nero Fiddles - Jackson Pollock just screwed up his face inside his grave.
"Poutine is MORE THAN FOOD, YOU HOSERS!"
- The Canadian Coalition, Rick Rages on... - I feel bad because there is more to this RP but this line made me burst out laughing just imagining it. So good.
"Damnit! That fucking hurts. That's what I've been doing to people all these years? No wonder nobody likes me."
- Steven Osbourne, Mummy's the Word - Shit dude. This RP was full of off handed jokes I could have choosen but this was so good.
"MOON BREAKER!"
- Tsukiko, The Fox says: MOON BREAKER! - MOON BREAKER!
That's it for this time around! Was a blast reading through all the RPs. Clearly we got a really good roster on our hands and I can't wait for this week!
