Clearwater: Welcome back, Alpha fans, to another edition of MONDAY NIGHT METAL! Coming off that HUGE Battlecade pay-per-view, where APW history was made in more ways than one!
Remi: You said it, Mikey-bro! Battlecade was LIT! Our talent put everything on the line for the troops there in Dayton, Ohio -- and it paid off big for some! Mike “The Situation” Matthews made a BIG mark in his debut match! The Bloodline sent a message to the roster -- but they may have signed their own death warrant using El Muertos to do it!
Clearwater: Red Riot continued to impress as she toppled APW stalwart Aaron Osmosis; and Eli Beazley showed his dominance once again as he battled Alex Scott and John Blade to retain the Junior Heavyweight Championship!
Remi: And we got new TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The Man Made Gods overcame the Enforcers to claim the APW tag straps, but this is just the beginning. Those tag titles painted a massive target on the backs of Corey Black and Frank Patrick Venable for anybody looking to take that tag team gold for themselves!
Clearwater: Fortunately, it’s a position that Black and Venable find themselves in more often than not, so they’re used to it. But the biggest news of the night came when Damon Warrens dethroned Smith Jones to end his reign as World Champion! But can he possibly hope to beat Jones’ record as longest reigning Champion?
Remi: More importantly, dude, what does this mean for the future of the Architects? These guys are arguably the backbone of this company, so how can they overcome this fracture in their ranks?
Clearwater: Perhaps tonight will bring those answers! Smith Jones will be opening the show in a one on one match against Mike “the Situation” Matthews, with one half of the Cowgirls From Hell as the guest referee! Patrick Kay Anthony faces off against the ever-confusing Flop, and Jaice Wilds returns to take on Aaron Blaze!
Remi: That’s one for the history books, my dude! Plus -- Jason Ryan and Red Riot have had a rapidly escalating feud over the last week, and tonight sees these two in a Falls Count Anywhere match with high stakes! If Red Riot wins, Jason Ryan has to fork over a quarter of a million dollars -- BUT if Jason wins, Red Riot will be forced to join the Bloodline. And with Aaron Blaze as the guest ref, can this be anything else but a setup?
Clearwater: I don’t know if Blaze wants another member in the Bloodline. He doesn’t seem thrilled at being left in the dark on membership decisions. Besides, the stipulation is very clear -- if he interferes or does anything shady, he’ll be suspended for two weeks!
Remi: Right, bro. Like shady shit isn’t our stock in trade. But hey, those Bloodline dudes have solidified the entire middle of this card, with the newest inductee Johnny Stylez facing off against the other half of Cowgirls From Hell, my girl Mad Max!
Clearwater: El Muertos begins his quest for revenge, going head to head with Bloodline’s resident monster, Soul Reaver. And all that leading up to our main event -- a hardcore title bout between the defending Zombie McMorris and newcomer “Valiant” Vincent Vayne! Anything could happen on a night like this!
