Nickname: "The Deerfield Destoryer"
Hometown: Deerfield, Illinois
Height: 5'5
Weight: 140 lbs.
Alignment: Tweener
In-Ring Style: Technical/Submission/Striking
Bio:
Sarah Roberts was born into an atypical middle class suburban family on May 13, 1978. Growing up, she was a fan of martial arts movies that she'd watch with her father and brothers which blossomed into an interest in martial arts in her teens. Known around her school as one of the "tough kids", Sarah had more-than-occational scuffles and fights with kids in her school, both male and female, from elementary all the way up to her graduation from high school. If you asked any of the people that were in her class, they'd tell you that her "victims" usually had it coming.
At the age of 18, Sarah signed up with The Rising Sun Dojo in Chicago where she became a student in Muay Thai, Shotokan Karate, and Judo. After seven years of training, she entered into her first professional bout and was sponsored by the school. By the age of 30, Sarah had become known mostly for her striking and submission talent, as well as her loud mouth. After being reprimanded by several different promoters for her colorful language choices and uncouth behavior at press conferences and weigh-ins, it was advised that she obtain a manager who could handle press junkets for her. She ended up bringing Delilah Huang into the fold after being pointed in her direction by some of the amateur circuit gyms as being a great business mind and fantastic mouthpiece for the talent that had "trouble" with a microphone or speaking in front of cameras. Delilah didn't seem to solve the problems, and only served to enhance Sarah's loose cannon attitude.
In 2016, disaster struck Sarah's personal and professional career from two different fronts. Even though she'd stacked a cabinet with championships, the writing was on the wall when she wasn't able to settle on bookings with any of the major North American or Japanese MMA promotions, all of which cited REDACTED. After some time away from combat sports in order to tend to her family and now-bruised ego, Delilah was able to hook Sarah up with a professional wrestling promoter that had her working the next show. With a grand total of nine months spent in the professional wrestling business, Extreme Wrestling Corporation had presented Sarah and Delilah an offer that made the duo realize that Sarah's curse was their blessing.
Sarah had a successful run from June of 2018 until January of 2019 with the Extreme Wrestling Corporation brand, FSW. At WrestleFest, she was able to take the EWC Television Championship from Stitches, only to lose it to Cottoneye Joe on the following edition of FSW. With a loss of momentum and a new business venture gaining steam, Sarah decided to take time away from active competition. Now a year later, Sarah's looking to make her return to the business under the banner of ALPHA Pro Wrestling.
