After his match against Lex Collins, and Metal continued, Aaron would walk down the hallway to his locker room. Unknown to him of what the commentary team had said, APW officials and agents would pass him and would give him a pat on the back and some applause. With a bewildered look on his face, he wouldn’t realize why until…
{Location: Locker Room}
After a shower and he had changed into other clothes, a knock came to his door. In the room would walk APW’s backstage interviewer, Dani Applegate, and of course her personal cameraman. Standing up and showing her inside, Dani would take a seat on a steel folding chair while Aaron would sit down on a bench. The camera would begin to record as Aaron didn’t know what was going on, but Dani would enlighten him.
[Dani] “Aaron, I know I caught you off-guard, but if I can say, that match you had was intense”.
Aaron nodded his head but Dani continued.
[Dani] “The reason I’m here is because of what happened after that match. You’re welcome to go back and watch it for yourself, and listen, but the commentary praised you for showing great promise. What do you say to that”?
With a confused look and a slight turn of his head, he would slowly become angered before answering.
“You’re only here because of what was said? So they said ‘great promise’? What the bloody fuck is that? I’m not a Greenie or some new kid getting his feet wet. (Turning to stare into the camera) If I haven’t shown you ‘promise’ then I tell you what, I promise you next week you’ll get what you want”. He violently stands up from his chair, mumbling “fucking pricks” and causes his chair to fall backwards onto the floor. Stepping forward, the cameraman cuts the video as they both quickly move, as if they felt threatened.
