(The scene opens up as we hear the sounds of an alarm clock going off, a few seconds later we see an arm reaching up from the bed covers and see the arm slamming down on the alarm clock knocking off the buzzing alarm that was cutting through the silence like a chainsaw through plywood. As the person reaches up from the bed covers we see that it is Alex Scott. Alex reaches for his cell-phone device, checking on the time and the multiple text messages that he received through the night.)
(With the roll of the eyes Alex places the cell-phone back down and Alex slowly climbs out of bed. Wearing nothing but black Nike Shorts Alex makes his way to the bathroom to have a shower. Twenty minutes goes by and Alex returns to the room, all dressed in casual street clothing, Alex places himself down in a chair next to the coffee table. Alex picks up his cell-phone and checks what’s going on in the world)
“The world is at a crisis. The world is at a pandemic. Countries around the world is on lockdown and no flights can be taken to most civilized countries because of this Corona Virus spread from China. I was recently at a crisis in my career but I overcome and I picked up multiple wins and now I can see better days. It’s been over two weeks since I was on Monday Night Metal and I was in a triple threat match against Jason Ryan and Brandon North and it ended with me walking out with the win.”
(Alex continues to scroll down his newsfeed)
“I was at a career crisis but I overcome those odds and now I’m back to winning ways. This week I get to return to Monday Night Metal and while the tag team tournament is still going on my match is smack-dab in the middle of the show. My match this week is against Aaron Osmosis. And Aaron this week you and I meet for the first time in singles action. And Aaron I’m sure that in your thirteen year career you’ve never felt lost. That you always knew you would succeed. However now I can see that you’re lost. You are lost in this new world of wrestling. I can see that you’re out of touch and I can see you’re in a crisis too.”
(Alex smiles)
“You’re in a crisis too because you actually think that you can go in the ring with me. You’re in a crisis because you think you’re relevant to the business let alone to APW. Allow me to tell you the truth Aaron, you’re not relevant. You’re completely irrelevant and APW feel sorry for you. They feel sorry for you and gave you a spot on the roster but you’re not needed. I’ll gladly be the guy to show you the truth and show you how out of touch you truly are.”
(Alex pauses)
“So Aaron I’ll be seeing you on Monday Night Metal and I’ll be showing you the retirement homes.”
