It was said that on March Ninth (9th), APW would give Aaron Blade and his tag team partner, Teijin, the night off. It was described as a week off, but no, it wasn’t because of something they did or said backstage or on-camera, “Block B” or the Second half of the Tag Team Tournament participants had their qualifying matches to see who advances in the tournament. But Aaron wanted to see what the competition was like with this other talent. So he went to the show and sat in the front row as he said he would and without his make-up, so some wouldn’t recognize him. Although his intentions were to just enjoy the show, what he heard was the only thing on his mind when the night was over. Now, I don’t know if Teijin knew that Aaron was there, but Aaron heard the statement that was made.
What do I mean? Did you not see the last Metal show? Did you not replay it on Netflix? Let me enlighten you then.
{Monday Night Metal - 3/9/20}{Replay of promo by Teijin Matsuda}
Now a week has been removed since that night and when it was revealed who Bad Boy Energy would face in the Tag Team Tournament, Aaron had an idea. He would normally take to Social Media and vent his grievance, but instead, he decided to handle both opportunities in his latest and newest idea. He would need the services of an APW cameraman and the two would relocate to a facility just for what the time called for, a church.

“Teijin, let me ask you a question. Did you think I wouldn’t find out what was said? Whenever and wherever my name is said, I know it. I was there and I heard what you said but then I slept on it but couldn’t sleep. So I replayed it again and again to try to get my head around what you said. Here’s what I came up with. You went to Metal and decided to take my advice and get a look at the other talent. But while you were there, you couldn’t help yourself to get in front of the camera and cut a promo. That’s where you made your mistake. You could’ve said anything but what you said was directed towards me. A guy who’s going to help you win this tournament but you wanted to try and attack me? The guy who got you to where you are now? Remember, I’m the one who got the win for us to begin with. If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t be here right now.
But you want to say that I’m deceived? What did you do? You called me out so who deceived who? You call me a talented star? I have to be because it’s obvious you’re not. I know you wanted to do your own thing but so did I. I didn’t ask for this team but it’s the hand that we got. You can either suck it up and deal with it or I’ll drag your ass to the end of this thing and win the titles with a conscious or unconscious partner. That’s up to you. You want to call this a friendship? Look man, we’re not friends and never will be, okay? You’re my tag team partner and if you want to say that if I fail you then it may be a different world? Cross me at any time during this tournament and you’re going to wish you were in a different world. So think twice before you speak next time. Bad Boy Energy is a name you came up with and I just went with it because you were going on like a yapping fucking dog that wouldn’t shut up. Don’t get me wrong, you came up with a good name because I’m bad and I’m good at it. And as far as the name ‘energy’ goes, again, who got the win? I did, so that means I have the energy to last. You just try to keep up. But to everyone listening, there’s no hate to Teijin. It’s trying to build up this explosive talent that needs guidance. Yeah, Teijin, you spoke some words that well, didn’t sit well with me. You’re going to learn that you don’t let your mouth over-ride your ass. I’m all for being confident and cocky, but when it comes to a match, watch your step. Now as to business, The Bloodline gained another member, so Soul Reaver, welcome to the family”.
Inside his pocket, Aaron’s phone chimes as he receives a text message. Pulling out his phone from his pocket, and sees a new message alert. Opening the text, he clicked the link sent to him. The link directed him to the Alpha Pro Wrestling website where the new weekly Monday Night Metal cards are posted. There it was, in the main event spot, a Tag Team main event match between Man Made Gods against Bad Boy Energy. Now in the business, when you get a main event match, it’s a big deal. The main event is supposed to be the biggest draw of the card. So seeing the fact that Bad Boy Energy was the first in this tournament to not just get the first win, but now finding themselves in that slot, this tournament is on the right track in Aaron’s eyes. Oh yeah, and as for Frank Patrick Venable and Corey Black (Man Made Gods), you’re both welcome.
Aaron had already said his peace about his tag team partner and ½ of Bad Boy Energy, Teijin, and now his next goal was that of the tag team, Man Made Gods. This team though, BBE, he thought deserved something new and it was time for something that Aaron had been holding inside since his debut that was new, and now seemed like a perfect time to let that out.

Uniondale, New York was the next stop for APW’s live Monday broadcast of Metal. Earlier in the day when he arrived, he and a cameraman would go to a local church for what Aaron had planned. Speaking with the parishioner, it was money out of his own pocket, but he pulled it off. With the cameraman that was provided by The Bloodline, the following was made for your pleasure courtesy of Bloodline Productions.
{Location: St. Martha Roman Catholic Church in Uniondale, NY}
The street was blocked off for a few minutes while the following was taking place. APW and local police were also on hand to block off any activity around the church, so there would be no distractions. With everything in place, it was time to begin.
As the camera begins to record, the cameraman would begin walking towards the church from across the street on the opposite sidewalk. With the camera at eye level, the view of steps were seen, and after about Ten (10) to Thirteen (13) steps, the camera stopped at a polished wooden double door. The hand of the cameraman is seen reaching for the handle of one door and pulls it open before stepping inside. Inside the church, ahead of him is a large “cleansing bowl”, but the cameraman continues walking forward as in the distance a faint and distorted image is seen. As the heavy door closes behind him and the clank of the latch closing echoes, an echoing voice speaks and carries through the empty building.
“Follow the sound of my voice and all will be well”.
Okay, if that wasn’t creepy, it sure creeped out the cameraman because his breathing began to race and pick up a bit. But he continued walking towards the pulpit and as he reached another doorway, just on the other side of the door, was a cleansing bowl. The voice again spoke.
“Cleanse your hands before you reach my presence”.
By now, the man, the distorted image is clear. An image of a figure slowly turns to face the podium and steps forward to the microphone. His hands that were once folded behind his back into his sleeves, began to slowly emerge as he placed them on the sides of the podium. Leaning forward and softly speaking into the microphone, Aaron spake saying...
“The saying is that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. That may be true when it comes to anything on the outside of where we currently stand, but I tell you there are some things you do not play with. One of those things being, in this day and age, Religion. See, there are many religions and everyone has their own. There are those who pray to one God and there are those who pray to many gods. There are those who don’t believe in a god or God but believe they can become one. That’s where you come in. See, Corey Black and Frank Patrick Venable, the time for you two has come to be judged.
In one book, an old chapter and verse talks about how calling yourself a god will condemn you to torture and torment. And if it is written, then it shall come to be. The creator has written your story and like those before you, they have fallen. That is because you were to taste victory before your inevitable defeat. Now is the time for your inevitable. As the time draws near, the dawning is setting upon you both. Man Made Gods, you will witness what the fallen has felt and the truth will overtake you both. Your transgressions and your fate will become our enlightening.
In this realm, you proclaim to be gods but you are mere mortals with fallible flaws. We will seek out your flaws and capitalize on them. In order to become a god, you must do a good deed or be of righteousness and pureness. I tell you that neither of you are those. No, you spit in the face of those who oppose you. So I come before you to speak a lesson on what is present and what is to come”.
On the podium in front of him, is a White book, that he slowly begins to open. Looking down, he reads.
“Today’s teaching is found in Exodus which represents Two, which is also seemingly fit as there are two of you. Here, the One who calls himself the Beacon of Light speaks to a prophet. The prophet is given out Ten rules that must be written. And as we know, if it is written, it shall be. The Light, it speaks of the First rule being and that there shall be NO other gods for this desecrate is called polytheism. (His head lifts and stares forward). “Two men who dare to call themselves Man Made Gods have issued themselves a penance that must be followed through. In The End book, it speaks of two men who come to carry out the end, just as we are two men who have come to render you of your end. It has already been written and again, it shall come to be. Your fate will fall into our hands and we will be the ones to condemn you.
You find in Exodus that when the rule was written, those who followed grew tired of waiting and made themselves a man made god. That Golden calf they made was also soon melted down and destroyed just as you two shall be destroyed on the eve that is to be. (Church bells begin to chime). Behold thy end is nigh”.
Aaron slowly closes the book, the logo of The Bloodline sporadically flickers on-screen as the camera abruptly cuts off.
