The Dunkin’ Donuts Center comes alive as the Monday Night Metal theme echoes through the arena. The capacity crowd of twelve thousand makes as much noise as a crowd twice their number. Camera flashes flare throughout the audience, glow-sticks wave, signs are thrust high in the hopes of being picked up and broadcast by the crane camera panning across. The commentary team are already in place at ringside, beaming at the home viewers.

Remi: DUDES! Welcome to another edition of MONDAY NIGHT METAL -- live from the home of HP Lovecraft himself, Providence, Rhode Island!

Clearwater: Tag team action continues tonight with our Block B competitors, as the Enforcers -- two legends in this business, Odin Balfore and Alex Richards -- take on the pairing of John Blade and Latoya Hixx; the Boss and Blade Connection!

Remi: It’s a night of legends, Mikey-bro! APW JUST secured a contract with Andre Aquarius -- at an unprecedented salary, rumor has it -- who will be teaming up with newcomer Amirah Al-Amin to face off against two of the hottest babes to sign a contract yet; Danica Kane and Red Riot, aka Red Wedding!

Clearwater: We’ll see a rematch, of sorts, when Eli Beazley and Cecilia Ortiz meet again in the ring with their respective partners, Mr. E and Lucy Sixx! And our main event features two home-grown teams as the Architects go head to head with the WarSaw Pact!

Remi: Not only that, bro! Because of a weird double pin at the end of one of last week’s Block A matches, we’ll see a singles bout between the two men who got pinned as Jaice Wilds goes up against El Muertos in a match that will ultimately decide which man’s team advances in the tournament!

Clearwater: Plus, tensions between management and the Architects are steadily on the rise. Irina’s Commissar of Violence is set to take on Lex Collins in a non-title match in an effort to humble the faction and bring them back in line.

Remi: The boss lady knows what she’s doing Mikey-bro! She hasn’t steered this company wrong yet! Everything she’s done has propelled APW to greater heights -- like the tag tournament we’re about to witness here in Providence tonight! Right after these words from our sponsors!

Tag Title Tournament Block B, Round One
Enforcers vs John Blade/Latoya Hixx

John Blade’s music begins to play as he walks out on stage. He talks to the camera man and bounces a little. He holds up his “Never Give Up” logo flag and tosses it to the fans. He salutes and runs straight down towards the ring. He bounces off the ropes side to side and he holds up his “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect” shirt. He takes off his hat and tosses his shirt to the fans and hands his Chain to the ref to begin to fight.

Clearwater: What a way to kick off the second block with this interesting matchup.

St. Remi: Yeah, John is a veteran of the ring with a wild card in his corner.

Clearwater: I’m with you there!

Sky's the limit hit's when Latoya comes out behind the curtains and dip down on her heel toe and raise up her Sunglasses and walks down towards the ring.

Jessica Kaine: And his partner, from Boston, Massachisettes … weighing 114 lbs… “Latoy Hicks!

She gets on the side of the apron and shows them her Legit Brass Knuckles in gets inside of the ring and gets ready for her Opponent while conversing with her tag partner.

Clearwater: These two have such good chemistry, which is hard to say about their opponents tonight.

St. Remi: Who need consistency if you can just bash their faces?

Clearwater: And here they come! It’s the Enforcers!

"Indestructible" By Disturbed pounds with what seems like the end of Doom’s demo, unveiling the Enforcers with in-your-face energy the people can barely handle.

Jessica Kaine: And their opponents, weighing a combined fuck ton… the Enforcers!

Clearwater: Look at this power couple of wrestling’s past.

St. Remi: Yeah, but you can’t spit in the face John Blade! The dude has been at this game just as long.

Clearwater: Very true, and the addition of Hicks has been quite a sight indeed. We’re in for a good one!

Odin lets Richards take on whomever dares face him 20 feet away. Hicks answers the call without blinking.

DING DING DING!

Hicks draws first blood with a sidestep and bulldog off the rebound. Her momentum fails her when a failed leapfrog leads to a Richards spinebuster. He then nails a running leg drop. Her proximity to the ropes gives Hicks a chance to roll to the outside.

Clearwater: Richards put all his weight into that one.

St. Remi: And here comes John Blade! Look at those meaty right hands!

Clearwater: Richards fighting back… he has Blade by the throat!

St. Remi: Choke toss—what now? How did Blade recover himself mid-air?

Clearwater: And here comes Balfore!

St. Remi: What are we paying these officials for? Get them out of the ring already!

Blade goes right Balfore with elbows until the All-Father braces himself against the corner padding, pushing off and connecting a haymaker that could crack a coconut. He then Irish whips his entire weight into a Blade, throwing him full-speed into a waiting Alex Richards who scoop slams John Blade to the mat. He and Odin then do a combination elbow drop and leg drop on Blade.

Clearwater: Look at this well-oiled machine! How do you face two pieces working this efficiently?

St. Remi: You don’t… you wait for a chance to break those icebergs apart, bro. You can’t face them together.

Clearwater: What is Hicks doing? How’s that going to help?

St. Remi: Just watch!

She catches Richards sleeping by nailing a diving bulldog from the outside ropes, but making sure to dropkick the towering Balfore in the process too. Odin recedes into his corner with an official hot on his trail. John Blade has since crawled out of the ring for safety, leaving the center ring an open paygorund for Alex and Latoya. Richards rises off one knee looking dazed with Hicks now blazing off the far ropes.

St. Remi: Hurricanrana!

Clearwater: And Richards goes down to the mat!

St. Remi: Almost! Close one, fat boy!

Clearwater: But Alex Richards just chicken-winged an arm free.

St. Remi: That’s right girl, don’t give up now. Finish him off!

Alex Richards tries to get to his corner, but Hicks jumps on his back with pointed knees. He grimaces but continues his DiCaprio claw across the ground albeit what damage he takes from Hicks. Richards gets up to one knee with a fully extended arm for a waiting and mostly fresh Balfore. When “the Boss” slips hims arms back to nail a devastating straightjacket neckbreaker slam. She makes a hasty cover.

Clearwater: Why isn’t he counting?

St. Remi: Did Richards make the tag?

Clearwater: The official is saying Odin is the legal man! And what a grin on the All-Father’s face!

St. Remi: I don’t believe it! What terrible luck for Hicks. She had that blubbery corpse dead-to-rights!

Hicks dashes for her corner when Odin’s leg high-steps into the ring. John Blade, though worn from before, seems to have a renewed sense of urgency. Blade and Hicks have a pep talk while the All-Father occupies the ring center in Shao Khan fashion.

Clearwater: John Blade to meet his challenge. Can he stand against an all-time legend?

St. Remi: He just might—flying forearm! Blade is going right into the body of Balfore!

Clearwater: What heart and courage! How is he still bring that much power after the beating he sustained?

St. Remi: Don’t question heart, bruh. It’s never wrong!

Blade works Balfore into a corner again before Odin’s sheer weight throws him back. A big boot drops him to the mat, although John escapes in time to avoid pinning elbow drop. Odin gets up rubbing his elbow, when a flying dropkick sends him reeling. Odin looks to ropes for balance only to eat a springboard stunner from John Blade. He stumbles into the ropes yet still maintains balance.

Clearwater: John Blade is stealing this match back from oblivion… and these fans are loving every second of it!

St. Remi: What more can they do against these unstoppable powerhouses? Balfore took that stunner like a bee sting, bro. And he’s just looking for more.

Clearwater: John Blade slumped at the waist. He can’t believe it either. This could be more than he can endure.

St. Remi: Heart… but will that even be enough against the likes of Balfore and Richards?

Clearwater: Lou Thez! No—Odin just powerbomb’ed Blade out of his shoes!

St. Remi: That was no powerbomb! That was an 18-wheeler hitting an oncoming train!

Blade scrambles for his lost shoe like Tyson trying to grab his mouthpiece until knee pops him up into a chokeslam clutch. Balfore lifts, but a resourceful and springy Blade is able to sneak in a head scissors that catapults Balfore into the nearest turnbuckle. He hits it chest-first and walks right into an over-the-shoulder inverted piledriver from John Blade.

St. Remi: So much power… this is ridiculous.

Clearwater: How many more time can Blade or Hicks fight before the knockout blow comes?

St. Remi: I don’t know, my dude, but it’s not going to be pretty.

Clearwater: Richards and Hicks look read for more… but will it get back to them is the question.

St. Remi: Only the wrestling gods can answer that one, bro.

Balfore surges with a heavy two-handed slap of the canvas. Blade tries to obfuscate his rage by hitting the far ropes, but another vicious boot picks him off the ground and curb stomps him back to the canvas. Balfore, no longer in a showman mood, chokes him off the floor and delivers a ring-rattling chokseslam. And then a second one, albeit with less energy that time, without releasing the initial choke. The official finally breaks him off John Blade—but all the damage has already happened. What scraps of Blade remain in his slithering slug body inching towards his eager partner less than ten feet away from his out stretched hand. Balfore takes a breather before tagging in the massive Richards.

Clearwater: No! No! No!

St. Remi: Jesus!

Clearwater: Richards, on a full head of steam, just Yokozuna crushed John Blade.

St. Remi: Look! Blade is slipping through Richards’ legs! He made the tag!

Clearwater: Hicks vaulting over the ropes with a frankensteiner! Richards ate every bit of it!

She runs for the turnbuckle again and hits a diving clothesline. Richards surges up, going to choke like some angry mummy, but Hicks slips behind for a double knee backbreaker. However, just before the impact Richards is able to doldge her attack and flatten Latoya with his entire 325 pound frame.

St. Remi: Hicks got pancaked! Somebody get a spatula!

Clearwater: No, no… what now? Just end it already you monster!

Richards lifts her agile frame off the mat and delivers one of patented chokeslam flatiners, enlightening only the sickest of bastards. Blade tries to negate a finish by holding Richards’ ankle, but he simply tags Balfore to unlock their full nuclear arsenal. They throw Hicks into the corner. Alex then scoops up Odin and runs into the turnbuckle, power slamming him into the opponent. Alex then Irish whips her into Odin Balfore who then hits another power slam for the finish. Silence overcomes the arena.

Jessica Kaine: And your winners… the Enforcers!

Clearwater: That was overkill.

St. Remi: They just dropped napalm on forest fire. I don’t know else to say, bro. I think I need a cigarette.

Clearwater: I think we all do. And with that resurgence, the Enforcers move on to the next round.

St. Remi: What a way to open Metal. Damn though… they fought so hard but not hard enough.

Clearwater: Indeed, and those at home, we’ll be back after these messages.

Segment feat. Teijin

We open to a the roof a nondescript building where Masuda Teijin vapes into the waning sunlight.

"There are more powers at play than we can forecast... yet the fans will make their picks before the fight ever begins. Such oversight will be the undoing of this grand tournament. Yet as I look over the ledge onto the cars below - beyond that look halfway down - I realize that Batman never wanted to save the ants beneath him. He saw evil in them all. Darkness that only those sensitive to an end could foresee. What my random partner, Aaron Blaze, must have seen when he looked off the same ledge. Where he assumed that joining forces with an unproven band of misfits. Perhaps he'll be at home away from someone like me. There's an air of vengeance so deep in my soul that everyone across the ring has to pay for others' sins. I hate admitting that. I really do. Although my arrival to APW is not a happenstance - if we rely on those big boy words our champions throw around like Girl Scout cookies - as few would turn their nose to the idea of settling new ground. Yet hear I stand, stories above the ants, just idling away in my own rings. Sure, there's more to me than a Byronic dipshit... but that's what I need people to believe at first sight. Only then can someone like me work alongside a deceived yet talented star in Aaron Blaze. We are friends now. Tomorrow, especially if you fail to help me win those belts, may be a different world. Everyone is a variable. So waste your time licking another man's boots. Just take my advice when I tell you that no one bowing that way leaves their comfort zone. And they never learn to fly!"

Teijin Runs for the edge of the skyscraper before breaking as hard as possible, nearly tumbling into the abyss in the process. He then turns over his shoulder with a grin.

"Time to grow some wings, kids. And some balls. Because the Bad Boy Energy is already in your bloodstream. It's only a matter time before the rest of you succumb to it."

We cut back to the arena.

Jaice Wilds vs El Muertos

Clearwater: Welcome back ladies and Gentlemen and get ready for the next match in Block A of our tag team tournament that concludes at APW BATTLECADE!

Remi: Except this match Jaice and El Muertos are without partners but the outcome will decide which team moves on!

Clearwater: It should be an entertaining match up.

Remi: Yes a singles match up in a tag team tournament. So exciting….

The match is about ready to begin, ‘La Grange’ by ZZ Top begins to play. The crowd is slightly confused including the announcers but at the 34 second mark when Frank Beard beats his drum kit like a red headed step child silver pyros in a row of 8 all blast off igniting the air in the arena and out walks Maxine Riggs with her chaotic smirk in full beam as she holds her fist up and the crowd gives the rookie a decent pop as she struts down to ringside slapping the hands of a few fans on the way. She pulls up a chair at the announce table and puts on a headset.

Remi: Welcome to Metal, what brings you down here?

Mad Max: Well us competitors in Block A have the night off except these two so I’m just down here to watch and get a little strategy.

Remi: Where’s your partner?

Mad Max: She said Jaice Wilds reminds her of a poor man’s Shadow Starr and that makes her physically ill.

Clearwater: Is that true?

Mad Max: Haha, no she’s attending to Cowgirl business.

Clearwater: What kind of business?

Mad Max: You two ask way too many questions, and the match is starting. Pay attention, that’s what you are paid for right? Haha.

Mad Max now sitting between the men gently elbows both of them in the gut playfully as the referee calls for the bell. The two then tentatively circle one another. The two then lock hands and struggle for a moment, allowing El Muertos to get the better of it as he turns around into a Waistlock. Jaice does his best to flatten out but El Muertos over powers him and drops him face first onto the mat before spinning around into a North-South position from the top. Jaice struggles from beneath and soon manages to right the hold into one of him own and secures the lock.

Remi: Particularly slow start from Jaice, not something we’re used to seeing from the Xtreme Aerialist.

Clearwater: What’s interesting to note is that last week there was the double pin that caused this match to be booked by our esteemed General Manager.

Mad Max: To me it just shows that neither team can really do it right. The idea was to win the first time.

Clearwater: Two referees made the count its neither teams fault.

Mad Max: Tomato, potato.

Jaice does exactly that and the hesitation allows El Muertos to twist out while holding an arm, bringing him face down into an extended Armlock. El Muertos then brings the action back to standing and then hurls him towards the ropes as Jaice nears the ropes he springs up to grab his foot, causing him to, rather over dramatically, throw himself down to the mat to avoid getting the piss knocked out of him. Jaice winds up in the corner and rolls too his back. He looks pissed, and El Muertos charges towards him and Jaice finally reacts quick enough to dodge out of his shot. El Muertos hits the buckle and turns right into a leaping knee in the gut and then an elbow across the jaw that staggers him. El Muertos then lunges forward with a bone braking right hand that lucky finds nothing but air as Jaice ducks down and nails a few shots to the body. El Muertos ducks down and covers up, but Jaice is relentless in his attack, nailing knee strikes to the head as he puhes him back into the ropes.

Clearwater: It seems like quite these are very much into winning it tonight.

Mad Max: I don’t know, I mean I heard Wilds is a “Xtreme Aerialist” but he also claims to be friends with “Simon Kalis”.

Remi: Why did you air quote his nickname and then his friend?

Mad Max: Why do bears wipe their asses with rabbits in the woods?

Jaice keeps up the pressure but El Muertos manages to over power him and send him across the mat. Jaice gets as far as him knees before having to drop down and avoid a kick from El Muertos, which he manages to catch and turn into a School Person (hey, its 2020 who am I to assume genders for old school wrazzlin names) roll-up.

Clearwater: Surprise cover.

Remi: And out.

El Muertos explodes at two and sends Jaice away. El Muertos then gets to his knees and catches another strike from Jaice, locking onto him leg and then deftly hauling him into the air and then bringing him down with a Snap Spinebuster. Jaice’s insides collapse but he manages to get a hold of the rope and block a submission for El Muertos. He fights for the hold but Jaice manages to kick him off and then roll out onto the apron. A foot between the eyes causes El Muertos to stagger, but he shrugs it off, charges at Jaice and tackles him through the ropes and out to the floor. The two land hard against the barrier with Jaice taking the worst of it, giving El Muertos an easy time of being able to haul him off him feet and onto his shoulder. El Muertos then turns around throws him up into the air and, rather unceremoniously, drops him face first onto the ring apron.

Clearwater: Oow.

Mad Max: Well at least he doesn’t have to get those teeth pulled at the dentist.

Remi: I have heard he has sugar addiction real bad as well.

Jaice crawls away with him hand held to his face, though between his fingers you can still a small stream of blood seeping through. El Muertos doesn't let up though and drops a foot into him side to send him tumbling over. El Muertos then gives him a moment to breath, let's him stand, and then takes off running toward him. He catches him up on his shoulder and runs him into barrier a second time.

Clearwater: El Muertos all over him at this point.

Remi: He really is relentless.

Mad Max: He’s the Dead right? He’s just doing his job of trying to kill Jaice.

Remi: You are odd. Irina if you are listening can we replace Clearwater for her?

Clearwater: Really, man?

El Muertos stops only to break the plane of the ring to restart the count before he gets on him again. This time he doesn't wait, and pulls him up by him roots before dumping him onto the ring apron. El Muertos then follows him up and quickly secures him in a standing Head-scissors.

Remi: I think this will finish the job of messing him up.

El Muertos hunkers down and prepares to lift him for a Powerbomb, but Jaice feels it coming and sinks down into the ropes. El Muertos hauls at the Xtreme Aerialist but he keeps tight to the ropes, forcing him to break his hold and clobber him with a few shots to the back.

Clearwater: Jaice is fighting. If he's going to get him it's not going to come easy.

With Jaice softened up he tries again, and this time he comes rather easy. At the apex of the move however, Jaice reacts, and sinks the point of him elbow down into his skull. This staggers El Muertos for a moment, and allows Jaice to drop back out of his clutches, jump down to the ring floor and pull his legs, out from under him.

Mad Max: Look, the poindexter is fighting back, how cute!

Remi: You are way too fun.

El Muertos lies prone on the apron and Jaice drags him into his place with his head pressed against the steel corner support. He then breaks the count before making some space between him and El Muertos out on the floor.

Clearwater: Any idea what this is?

Mad Max: Well I believe what he's going to do is start a run, pick up some speed, jump up and then hit a Dropkick, essentially exploding his brain against the ring support.

Jaice sizes up his opponent and then takes off at a run. Inches away though he has his run cut short as Mad Max from ringside throws a Malteser at his head. Jaice is confused and Maxine just smiles and motions for him to go on with the match.

Remi: Ummm what was that about? Where did you get those, have you been eating them the whole time?

Clearwater: Anyways….

Jaice flips off one half of the Cowgirls From Hell but he should’ve stayed on target because he’s quickly taken out by the shins with a drop kick from The Dead.

Remi: Oh man I can feel that.

Clearwater: Did you hear that sound the shin bones made?

Mad Max: Next time he’ll think twice before a chocolate candy distracts him.

Clearwater: They really should get back in the ring before the referee counts them out.

Mad Max: Well The Dead Dude just sent Jaice back into the ring.

Remi: This has turned into quite the physical confrontation.

El Muertos starts to feel Forearm Shots to his back. It's not enough to slow him down though, and El Muertos surges and puts him back into the corner. He then begins firing off shots from left and right as Jaice does what he can to cover up. Jaice tries to hunker down but El Muertos pulls him back up and fires off a few more. He then tags him with a few knees from the side before the referee is finally forced to break it up. Jaice hangs in the ropes, the cut only getting worse.

Clearwater: I didn’t even see Jaice get cut.

Mad Max: The Malteser had sharped round edges.

Remi: a Runningman kind of weapon?

Mad Max: Yass Queen!

El Muertos roars as he's pulled off, gives him just a second and then fires back. Jaice catches him with a boot though, and rather clumsily throws himself up onto the ropes. El Muertos doesn't stop though, and comes back with a Clothesline that knocks him out onto the apron. He then drags him part way through the ropes and drops him with a DDT for good measure.

Remi: He’s done an incredible job keeping Jaice off the turnbuckles.

At this point El Muertos has had enough, and begins sizing him up for the Spear. It's a fair wait as Jaice finds him feet, but as soon as he does, he steps into action, comes in low, and gets nailed with two feet on the back of his head.

Clearwater: Double Foot-Stomp, out of nowhere, and Jaice is far from finished.

Mad Max: I’ll give him that.

El Muertos goes down from the shot and his head starts to spin. He comes around though, only managing to get caught in a Clinch and blasted with a series of Knee Strikes that rip through his face. A final one lifts him up right, and he tries to answer back with a punch. His game is still off though, and Jaice manages to land a kick to the gut, bringing him down to him level, and leaving him open for the Pele Kick Superkick.

Mad Max: Uraken!

Remi: What does that mean?

Mad Max: It's Japanese for no teeth.

Clearwater: not quite sure that's true but it seems to be the effect.

One shot puts him to a knee but not out. The second however does it though, and his eyes go back into his head. Jaice then leaps into a Tornado DDT. He then dives for the cover.

Mad Max: I always knew he wanted to be on top.

Clearwater: I wonder what your partner will be like when she joins us for the main event.

Remi: And no!

El Muertos throws up a shoulder and the crowd explodes. The two of them are a mess at this point and Jaice looks dismayed. He keeps him wits about him though and pulls him up sitting on the mat. A kick in the back stuns him as he hits the ropes, and then gets hit with the ORDO AB KAO. He pulls it into a cover.

Mad Max: look at El Muertos nose, he’s gonna need a plastic surgeon.

THREE!!

Clearwater: And there’s the bell.

Jessica Kaine: Your winner and moving on in block A of the tag team title tournament…. JAICE WILDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mad Max: Well gentlemen it’s been fun but I gotta jet. Catch ya on the flip flop!

Jaice rolls out of the cover and mops off his brow, admittedly, with all the blood; he’s looking quite bad ass now. Never the less though he’s on him feet and into the ropes to celebrate as "UltraNUMB" by Blue Stahli plays throughout the arena as Mad Max walks past the ring staring in at Jaice Wilds holding her hands up clapping for him. She unleashes her chaotic smirk towards the Xtreme Aerialist as he stares back unsure of what kind of game one half of the Cowgirls are playing.

Clearwater: She was a odd one, even Jaice can’t seem to make sense of her.

Remi: I don’t know but I liked her. Breath of fresh air.

Clearwater: Alright, ladies & gents! Tonight's Monday Night Metal is ALREADY Trending Worldwide and it's and we're just ge--

Remi: What the hell was that?!

Clearwater: I have no idea, but I felt it too.

Remi: Felt it? Did you not SEE how all those lights blew out up there?

Clearwater: Really? Oh wow yeah, that whole section of the crowd is in the dark. We better get maintenance to check the breakers.

Remi: Seriously? You're worried about maintenance? What about all those people who were just showered with shards of glass from the lamps that jus--

Clearwater: Whoa whoa whoa, what's this?

Clearwater and St.Remi are pale with fear as they stand up from their seats and bring their attention up to the rafters.

As they look around the entire arena, they see what appears to be dozens of black-hooded figures, just floating high above and around the audience. A woman's voice begins to hum an ominous and imposing tune.

Suddenly, in the darkened area of the crowd, a puff of smoke blows in from nothingness, and in somewhat of a light-show fashion, eyes and lips are reflected on it. The smoke & mirror face seems to grin and says the following words:

"You must be infinitely stupid to follow me like this... You should have stayed away, child... You will find out the hard way, that what you are doing is hazardous to your well-being. Remember, the glass behind which the lion sits, is there to protect you... Not the lion... You should have stayed where it was safe for you... And not follow me here... Regret shall befall you..."

A sinister cackle is emitted through the arena's PA system as the floating druids retreat into the darkness. The smoke vanishes and most of the lights return to normal.

Clearwater: I uh, I have no words, Jonah.

Remi: Well I do. And those words are "WTF."

Clearwater: Well, the show must go on.

Remi: Whatever that was, it's gone now.

AAAAA! Vs Red Wedding

Jessica Kaine: The following tag team match is scheduled for ONE FALL and will determine which team advances to round two of the APW Tag Title Tournament! First to the ring…

A seizure inducing strobe goes through the arena and somebody probably dies (probably) as the beat drops in Andre and Amirah emerge on stage together, Andre starts bangin' for the camera and the two thrash about on their way down to the ring. The crowd boos, because America is racist and misogynistic. They waste little time climbing up into the ring and mounting opposing turnbuckles. After some taunting towards the crowd, they hop back down in unison and head to the center of the ring where Andre daps up Amirah and they wait for their opponents.

Jessica Kaine: “Prince Lightskin” Andre Aquarius and “The Golden Eagle” Amirah Al-Amin -- AAAAA!!! And their opponents…

The venue is plunged into a deep crimson neverland as Red Riot and Danica Kane appear as imposing silhouettes on stage, each wearing a bridal veil as...

"KILLING IN THE NAME OF!"

The frantic beats of "Killing in the Name" cuts loose as the lights raise. Riot and Kane throw their red veils into the audience as they march with a purpose down to the ring, their journey slicing through a plume of thick red mist. A moment later both competitors are inside the ring having duel skinned the cat, each climbing a turnbuckle as they soak in the roaring crowd reaction.

Jessica Kaine: “The Crimson Killer” Red Riot and “The Crimson Nightmare” Danica Kane -- RED WEDDING!!!

DING DING DING!

Red Riot starts off for her team, warily circling Andre Aquarius as Amirah and Danica step out onto the apron. Aquarius smirks, taunting Riot to come at him -- and she does, charging in with a running headbutt! Aquarius avoids it and retaliates with a punch to the throat! Using her predicament as a distraction, Andre goes for a Russian legsweep! Riot counters and drops Andre with a hurricanrana instead!

SickWaves hops right back up -- and gets a superkick for his trouble! He hits the mat again, and Riot covers!

One!

Two!!

KICKOUT by Aquarius! Back to his feet and a scissor kick from Riot sends him reeling, and Redd follows up with an armdrag! Aquarius distracts Riot with a poke to the eye and gets right back to his feet, shaking off the onslaught. Riot comes after him, but Andre is ready; he catches her with a headlock and pulls her in close! Aquarius delivers a series of rapid strikes to Riot then puts her in position for a #DankInfusion! He follows up with a flying elbow drop! Cover by Andre Aquarius!

Two!!

Danica Kane with a running knee to break up the pin! Kane helps her partner toward the Red Wedding corner, intending to tag herself in, when Amirah intercepts them both with a shotgun dropkick! All hell breaks loose as the three women commence a savage brawl, Al-Amin holding her own against Riot and Kane! Just as the tide seems to be turning against Amirah, Aquarius comes in to even the odds!

Andre Aquarius sends Danica Kane to the outside! With Kane out, Aquarius and Al-Amin turn their attention to Riot with a brutal, double-team assault! Referee Eddie Silk gets involved, urging Amirah to leave the ring. She ignores him until he threatens to disqualify their team, and reluctantly slips through the ropes to stand on the apron.

Red Riot shakes off the cobwebs -- but not for long! Aquarius nails her with an enzuigiri to the temple that staggers Riot, then follows up with a dropsault! Another cover!

Two!!

Riot gets her shoulder up like a boss! Aquarius hauls Riot back to her feet and drags her along toward his corner, where he reaches out to tag in Amirah -- just as Danica Kane yanks Amirah off the apron! Kane takes full advantage on the outside, delivering several stiff forearm shots before she sends Al-Amin crashing into the crowd barrier! Kane lifts Amirah and runs with her toward the ring, ragdolling her against the ring edge! As Al-Amin crumples on the ringside mat, Kane starts laying boots to her!

Meanwhile, with Aquarius distracted, Red Riot rallies back with a series of leg kicks that force Aquarius to one knee! She hits the ropes for a springboard DDT! And a cover from Red Riot!

THR--KICKOUT!

A shout from the Red Wedding corner gets Riot’s attention. Danica Kane is back on the apron, arm extended over the rope, insisting it’s her turn. With a shrug, Riot makes her way to the corner and casually slaps Kane’s hand. Danica leaps in over the top, immediately springboards off the turnbuckle, and pulls a rising Aquarius back down to the canvas with an armdrag! Kane looks to follow up, but instead nearly gets her head kicked off by an enraged Amirah Al-Amin! Amin pulls her partner to the safety of the 5A corner and promptly tags herself in! Danica gets back to her feet as Amirah rushes to the attack! Kane moves to intercept -- Amirah counters and puts her down with a swinging neckbreaker! Cover!

Two!!

A powerful kickout by Danica Kane! Both women come back to their feet and Al-Amin kicks Kane square in the chest! Again and again, backing Kane up toward the ropes! Amirah now setting Danica up for a frankensteiner -- but Kane reverses and plants Amirah with a frankensteiner of her own! Kane with a few stomps for good measure, then returns to her corner to tag in Red Riot!

Riot back in and immediately goes to work on a dazed Al-Amin, setting her up for a side effect! A cover! But Amirah kicks out before Eddie Silk can get there to begin the count. Riot hauls Amirah back up and heads for the ropes, pulling her opponent up with her -- SPANISH FLY! She covers again!

Two!!

An elbow drop from Andre Aquarius breaks up the pin! The ref is right there to back him off, getting in Aquarius’ face. Red Riot gets back to her feet and pulls Amirah up by the hair. Amirah fights back, gets loose, and heads toward her corner to tag in her partner, but Red Riot catches her and sends her back the other direction with a whip! Riot hits the ropes and springboards off with a reverse DDT! BLOOD GRADIENT! Cover!

Two!!

KICKOUT BY AMIRAH! She digs deep and gets back to her feet quickly, stopping Riot with a shotgun dropkick! With the path clear, she makes a mad dash for her corner. Red Riot is up, and right on Amirah’s heels! Too late! The tag is made and Aquarius is in! He catches Riot with a big clothesline! Riot goes down. She climbs back to her feet, and Aquarius sends her reeling with a #PEPE KICK!

Aquarius hesitates just for a moment before going for the cover -- a moment too long, as Kane enters the ring and drags her partner out of harm’s way. Kane stops Andre cold with a springboard forearm as Riot catches her breath. Red Riot moves in and, with Danica’s assistance, lifts Aquarius onto her shoulders for a Red Letters GTS! Kane follows up with a poisonrana! Springboard moonsault from Riot into a pin! DEATH NOTE!

Danica runs interference while the ref makes the count!

As Lucy Sixx and Cecilia Ortiz step out from behind the curtain, a red light fixated on their every movement. Cecilia takes Lucy's hand and leads her to a throne on the stage. Lucy has a seat as Cecilia poses beside the throne.

Jessica Kaine: “Full Metal” Lucy Sixx and Cecilia Ortiz -- the TWO TONED MAFIA!

Lucy stands up and the two women make their way down the ramp and slide into the ring amongst the boos.

Jessica Kaine: And their opponents… First, from San Diego, California; he is YOUR APW Junior Heavyweight Champion -- “BREEZY” ELI BEAZLEY!!!

“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen hits the loudspeakers. The fans pop as “Breezy” Eli Beazley hits the stage. He briefly dances to his music and then makes his way to the ring. Eli highfives several fans. He stops to take a selfie with a fan and even pauses for a quick interaction with a young fan in the front row. Eli makes his way up to the ring apron and hits a few more dance moves. Finally, Eli hops over the top rope and spins around in the ring with his arms held out engulfing himself in the cheers from the audience. When we get to the chorus of the song , Eli hops up on second rope and leads the crowd in a few ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’s .

Jessica Kaine: And his partner… Hailing from parts unknown -- MR. E. They are POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE!

The lights flicker, as the scene transition sound effect from the classic batman series plays; Mr. E appears in the ring out of nowhere.

DING DING DING!

Cecilia and E start the match for their respective teams. Cecilia comes on strong with a tactical offense, but Mr. E has a counter for everything! Frustrated, Ortiz goes for an ill-advised collar-and-elbow. Mr. E immediately sweeps a leg out from under her and rolls Ortiz up!

One!

Only a one-count as Cecilia gets a shoulder up and frees herself. A quick Pele kick out of nowhere sends E staggering as Ortiz runs to her corner and tags in Lucy Sixx!

Mr. E nails an onrushing Sixx with a running knee, then applies a side headlock. Sixx slips out and goes behind E for a waistlock, lifting him up, but the greater weight of Mr. E works to his advantage as he breaks her hold and reverses! Suplex!

Instead of going for a cover, E pulls Lucy up by the hair and whips her to his corner, where Eli Beazley waits for the tag. Mr. E follows up with a splash before slapping his partner’s outstretched hand. Beazley comes in as E delivers a few stiff kicks to the midsection of Lucy Sixx. Breezy backs his partner off and instructs him to go to the outside. E shrugs and takes his position on the apron while Breezy checks on Sixx to make sure she’s ok.

Lucy Sixx takes advantage of the situation to deliver a stiff forearm to Beazley! Eli shakes it off and comes back with a forearm of his own -- only to get fed a taste of Sixx’s boot instead! Sixx out of the corner now and squaring up to Eli Beazley. She tries for a lariat -- Eli ducks! He pops back up with a standing dropkick that puts Sixx on the canvas! Beazley with the cover!

One!

Two!!

KICKOUT by Lucy Sixx! Sixx on her feet again and charges straight at Beazley, who counters with a clothesline! But Lucy ducks as she rushes past him and he misses! Ortiz is standing on the turnbuckle, begging to be tagged in. Sixx hesitates, then changes direction and heads for her own corner to tag her partner back in!

Ortiz climbs up and flies off -- but Beazley catches her in midair and slams her down to the mat! Cecilia gets right back up and tries for a Pele kick, but Eli has it scouted and counters! Cecilia down again, and this time Breezy helps her up -- right into a full Nelson!

Lucy Sixx in the ring trying to go to her partner’s aid, but Mr. E rushes to meet her with a big back elbow and a Russian legsweep into the turnbuckles! Beazley lifts Ortiz and plants her with the BREEZY BOMB! He hooks the leg!

Soul Reaver Segment

After the match is over “Breezy” Eli Beazley stands along in the ring. A mic can be found in one hand and the Jr. Heavyweight Championship in the other. The crowd cheers and Eli waits for them to quiet down. When they finally quiet down Eli raises the belt up into the air and we get another big reaction from the crowd.

Remi: This seems a little excessive.

Clearwater: But the crowd seems to like it!

Finally, Eli is ready to talk. He raises the mic up and waits for the last few cheers to subside.

Eli Beazley: Breezyacs, I haven’t had a chance to celebrate with you yet! We did it! We are the Junior Heavyweight Champions of the world! BABY!

More cheers.

Eli Beazley: It feels good… NAY! It feels GREAT to have a little piece of the APW gold. And I’ve got to say… I make this look good. But, Breezyacs, I’m not out here to just talk about how good I look. That is apparent. I’m out here to let you and the guys and gals in the back know that Eli Beazley is going to be Jr. Heavyweight Champion for a long time. I also wanted to let you know that I will defend my title. I won’t back down from a challenge. I will be a fighting champion. Breezyacs… I will make you pro…”

Before Eli can finish his sentence. “Godzilla” by the Blue Oyster Cult begins blaring over the PA System. The crowd watches on with anticipation. There is some movement and then a monster of a man walks onto the stage. The man is north of seven feet tall and has to be close to 500 pounds. He is HUGE. He slowly makes his way down the ramp.

Clearwater: Who in the hell is that?

Remi: I don’t know, but I have a feeling that Eli Beazley is about to get one hell of an introduction.

In the ring, Beazley doesn’t know how to react. He drops the mic and the title and stands his ground as the giant slowly climbs up onto the ring apron. He easily steps over the top rope and into the ring. The man stands there staring down Eli. The arena is quiet as no one knows what to expect.

Clearwater: If I were Eli Beazley I think I would be leaving the ring right about now.

Without warning the giant lunges at Eli. Eli is able to step back and then immediately fire a punch at the giant. The lunch lands and it lands hard, but the man is unaffected. Eli reels off another two or three big punches but the giant is unfazed. He blocks the fourth punch from Eli and then the giant absolutely levels him with a shot of his own. Eli stumbles backward into the corner. A knee to Eli’s gut is followed by several heavy blows and Eli drops to a knee. The giant pulls Eli up and then lifts him in the air with a gorilla press. The giant walks to the middle of the ring with Eli above his head. Boos reign down from the crowd. The giant drops Eli behind him. Eli slams to the mat and wisely starts rolling out of the ring.

Clearwater: I don’t know who this is or what he wants, but he clearly is not a Breezyac!

The giant climbs out of the ring and peels Eli off the floor. He grabs the back of Eli’s head and slams him forward into the ring post. Eli’s head slams into the metal post with a thud that silences the crowd. Eli crumples to the ground. The giant is not finished yet. He pulls Eli to his feet and gets him in the gorilla press position again. He holds Eli in the air as the crowd boos intensely. The giant walks over to the guard rail and drops Eli on top of it. The guard rail connects with Eli’s chest and the Jr. Heavyweight Champ is out on the floor. The crowd continues to boo. The giant seems not to notice. He picks Eli up and gorilla presses him again. Once again he drops him onto the guard rail.

Clearwater: Eli promised to be a fighting champion but It might be some time before he is in fighting shape again. This is brutal.

Back at ringside, the giant has picked Eli up once again. The crowd continues to boo. The giant has Eli in position for a powerbomb. He lifts him up and delivers a MASSIVE jackknife powerbomb. Eli’s body slams to the floor with another sickening thud. The giant stands over Eli. The arena is once again really quiet as it is clear that Eli Beazley is hurt. The near-silence is shattered with the sound of Jason Ryan’s music.

Clearwater: What the hell is he doing?

The crowd explodes into boos as Jason Ryan and Aaron Blaze walk out onto the stage. The giant leaves Eli and moves to the front of the ring. The music fades and the Bloodline soaks up the hatred from the fans. Jason has a microphone and raises it slowly to his lips.

Jason Ryan: Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce to you the newest member of MY Bloodline… SOUL REAVER!!!

The crowd continues to boo as the giant we now know as Soul Reaver walks towards Ryan and Blaze. Soul Reaver reaches the two men. Jason Ryan extends his hand. Soul Reaver nods his head and turns back towards the ring so we can get an awesome shot of Ryan, Blaze and Soul Reaver standing together.

Clearwater: If you weren’t concerned about the Bloodline yet. The addition of Soul Reaver and what he just did to Eli Beazley should send shivers down your spine.

Fade to commercial.

Lex Collins vs Spartan

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for one fall… with NO TIME LIMIT…it is a non-title match... Coming to the ring first, weighing in at one hundred and ninety five pounds…fighting out of Sin City... he is one third of The Architects… he is The Sin City Saint… HE IS THE NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION!! HE IS LEX COLLINS!!

The lights dim, and the sound of a heartbeat fills the silence, growing a little louder and faster before being replaced with a driving rock beat. "Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against kicks into gear over the arena sound system, getting an ear-splitting huge pop from the female fans in attendance. Orange and red spotlights fade up slowly, like the sun rising to reveal a fire in the sky, illuminating two silhouettes. Lex Collins stands with his head bowed and pauses before raising his arms, thrusting them directly into the path of the spotlights as the crowd erupts into cheers yet again. Midway down the ramp, Lex stops and shrugs out of his Brutal Apparel hoodie, awarding it to a lucky fan in the crowd. He pauses for a few selfies with fans before hopping up on the apron. Grinning at the crowd, he presses his right fist over his heart to a huge pop before turning and springing over the rope.

Jessica Kaine: His opponent… fighting out of Los Angeles, California, weighing in at two hundred and sixty five pounds… HE IS SPARTAN!!

The arena blacks out and the opening guitar riffs of “Destroyer” by Parkway Drive begins to echo over the ambient noise of the excited crowd, as the drum beats kick into effect the lights flash with each beat. As Winston McCall screams “Destroyer”, the lights in the arena flash back on with full effect.

We speak in lies, we speak in tongues

We’ll see our damage done
We live in dreams, we rest in peace
Content to sleep in our chains
Seven trumpets sound their discourse, nine circles of our devise
Messages writ within our columns of fire
No life blooms from the ashes of ire

Spartan walks out onto the ramp. He is dressed in casual attire, black shorts, black singlet, backwards cap, black kicks. He stands on the stage and embraces the noise of the crowd before he starts making his way down the ramp to the ring.

But our hearts beat faster, and our heads hang low

Still we kneel for the masters
Filthy pigs all in a row

Black the sun
Hide us from what we have become

Hide us from the monsters we’ve become

Spartan reaches the ring and jumps onto the apron in a single vault.

Spartan springboards himself over the top rope and into the middle of the ring. Spartan walks over and asks Jessica for the microphone.

Spartan: Hold up for a minute here, Lex. So before we get this on I’ve got some important information to lay out about the main event of Battlecade. Now we know that Warrens and Jones are going to go at it. But we have to make sure that the match takes place in the best interests of Alpha Pro Wrestling… So to ensure that no shenanigans take place… a special referee has been appointed for the match. That special referee.. IS ME!!

Remi: Bro!

Clearwater: Spartan is the special referee for the World Title Match at BATTLECADE CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!

Spartan: Now, Lex… LET’S GET DONE!

Spartan tosses the microphone over the top rope.

DING! DING! DING!

Spartan and Lex Collins engage immediately with a collar and elbow tie up. Spartan uses his size and power advantage to start forcing backwards towards the ropes, as they get closer to the ropes Collins drops to one knee the change in the centre of gravity sees Spartan to lose the grip and lunge forward, Collins takes advantage and drive a palm strike upwards to the point of Spartan’s jaw that send the big man staggering backwards. Ever the opportunity, the Sin City Saint pushes forward hits Spartan with a standing dropkick that connects with perfection and send the ginger giant staggering backwards, Collins runs after and nails a jumping knee into the midsection of Spartan transitioning it INSTANTLY into a DDT that DROPS Spartan down into the mat. Collins floats over Spartan and drops a knee into the back of Sparto’s skull. Lex rolls his over and starts driving forearms into his Spartan’s head forcing Spartan to cover up. Lex climbs off Spartan and pulls him up with him as he stands. Collins grabs Spartan by the wrist and whips him to the corner. Collins follows up and leaps into the air trying to connect with an avalanche splash but Spartan counters with a back elbow. Spartan slumps to catch his bearings while Collins bounces backwards onto the canvas and rolls the landing before getting to his feet. Collins comes charging back to Spartan with an attempt to drive a knee through his nose, but the ginger giant rolls out of the way and Lex gets caught up on the turnbuckles. Spartan stands and wraps one arm around the waist of Collins and other around the neck and ragdoll throws him out of the corner. Collins bounces off the canvas. Spartan comes over and goes to lift Lex off the mat, but Collins cradles the head as Spartan bends down and Collins rolls him up.

ONE!

TWO!

NO! Spartan powers out of the cradle hold and is quickly to his feet, just as is Lex Collins. Spartan loses composure and charges but Collins is aware and drops to the mat taking Spartan down with a drop toe hold. Collins is quick with the rear mount but Spartan scampers away. They both get to their feet and come back at each other, Collins ducks under a lunge from the bigger man and flips him to the mat with a snap mare takeover. Like lightning, Collins locks a cobra clutch on the bigger man. Spartan is struggling against the hold but he manages to use his core strength to get to his feet with Collins on his back. Spartan backs up and drives Collins backwards into the turnbuckles forcing the Nomad to break the hold. Spartan turns around only to be met by a slap onto his bare chest. Spartan slaps Collins back. Followed by Collins again returning the favour. Spartan. Collins. Spartan. Collins. Spartan. Collins. Spartan. Spartan. Spartan. Spartan takes control landing violent slaps on to Collins before throwing him out of the corner with a release belly to belly suplex. Collins hits the mat and Spartan immediately follows up with a frontal shoulder throw on Lex Collins. Collins bounces off the mat and Spartan comes after him. Spartan locks his arms around his waist, and goes to suplex him but Collins blocks the move by locking legs. Spartan shoves Collins away. Collins comes back off the ropes and his Spartan with pinpoint back elbow as he springboards off the ropes. Spartan drops and Collins scales the turnbuckles and waits for Spartan to stand he jumps and looks to drive Spartan head into the mat with some form of DDT but Spartan holds onto Collins as Collins keeps his arm locked around Spartans neck.

Spartan arches his back and flings Collins legs out throwing him, the momentum forces Collins to let go, Collins lands on his feet and both men turn around at the time. Collins runs at Spartan but Spartan hits him with a boot to the head sending Collins down to the mat. Spartan grabs Collins and sends him to the ropes running right behind him and nailing a FULL FORCE CLOTHESLINE that sends both men tumbling to the floor on the outside....

Spartan climbs wearily to his feet first, hauling Lex up with him. He whips Lex toward the guardrail, but Collins plants his feet and sends Spartan crashing into the steel instead! Lex pulls Spartan toward him for a backspin DDT onto the ringside mats! The official now urging both men to get back in the ring!

Lex slides in under the bottom rope, but something stops him. Spartan has him by the ankle and with a mighty heave, yanks him back down to the outside! Spartan lifts Lex up in a fisherman position, ready to return the favor with a DDT of his own, but Collins fights his way free! He elbows Spartan in the head several times and escapes! He climbs back into the ring, this time without interference. Spartan is right behind him. He grabs Collins by the neck and drags him forcefully to a corner, setting Lex up on the top turnbuckle, then climbs up alongside him. He lifts Collins for a superplex -- but Collins hooks the rope with his foot and blocks the attempt! Spartan tries again, and again, Lex blocks!

Frustrated, Spartan nails Collins with a big forearm and lifts him again, but loses his footing and the two men go crashing down to the canvas in an undignified heap. It’s Collins who recovers first this time, and he goes right for the ropes again. Just as Spartan finds his vertical base and moves in toward Collins, the Architect plants Spartan with a diving DDT! INDESTRUCTIBLE!

He makes the cover!

Spartan rolls out of the ring as Collins’ music hits the speakers to a huge pop from the crowd!

Absolute blackness befalls the arena. Not even cell phones are seen on in the crowd. You can hear some fans murmuring about their devices not working.

Remi: Oh, what the hell now?

Clearwater: Blackout. Faulty wiring?

A woman's voice begins to hum a lullaby. Thunder rumbles, and lightning vaguely makes the arena visible for split seconds on end. It is enough for Clearwater and St. Remi to notice the appearance of cloaked druids descending from high above the ring and floating on down toward the ring.

Clearwater: Wait, is that...

Remi: The ghosts from earlier?!

Clearwater: They're not ghosts, dumb ass.

The ring is now full of hooded druids as the lightning becomes more of a seizure-inducing strobe light. The humming voice now giggles and sighs, as the lighting stabilizes into a dark purpole haze. All of the druids in the ring kneel, except for one, who remains standing in the very middle. This one has a microphone in hand. As the camera zooms in, the standing druid removes the hood to reveal the face of none other than Noble Savage. The crowd goes nuts!

Clearwater: OH MY GOD!

Remi: What's she doing here?!

Clearwater: Listen to this damn crowd! Jesus Christ it's deafening!!

Noble Savage glances to the sides with a fiendish grin on her face, allowing time for the crowd's noise to subside. As it gets more calm, she brings the microphone to her lips.

Noble Savage: Providence, Rhode Island...

Remi: OH come on! Wanna get them all even more riled up? Sheesh!

The crowd does indeed pop, but Noble Savage speaks over them with a blood curling growl.

Noble Savage: Shut your disgusting mouths, all of you! You are the problem! I came here because the soil called on to me. The soil beneath Governor Sprague's Mansion... The soil holds Betsy Williams thousand year old cottage and her husband's grave... The soil that purifies the infernal screams of countless souls in search for redemption... But you... You so-called "people" do nothing but infest it with your noise, and your dirt, and your sleaze, and now... You dare welcome Alpha Pro Wrestling? You ought to be ashamed of yourselves, Providence... You once stood for something pure... And now you've swept yourselves under the carpet this company walks on...

The crowd is now booing. Incredibly contrasting their reaction from just a few seconds ago - we wrestling fans are kinda quick to change aren't we - And Noble Savage shakes her head as she looks down to her feet.

Noble Savage: I was willing to overlook that... See, I figured, coming to Providence, I would be far enough away from them to re-connect with my core, and therefore I automatically assumed their presence here was pure coincidence... After all, I did not tell any of them where I was going...

Remi: Of course not! You know why? Because she never worked here!

Clearwater: She kinda did one night, but--

Remi: She doesn't even go here! Boo you whore!

Noble Savage: But then I felt it... The presence... A certain little pestilent soul, whose might is like no other... But you're not aware of it are you? You don't even know what you are capable of yet... That is why you were lead here, because you have been unworthy your whole life, and the Circle has chosen me as your ender. They knew I wouldn't follow you, so they tricked you into following me... And now here you are... Confused as all hell. Ready to make it or break it, by hook or by crook, well... I will let you know your little journey ends here... At the hands of Noble God-Damned Savage!

Clearwater: Who is she talking about?

Remi: Probably you.

Noble Savage: You will regret the day you set foot on the soil of purity. The Eye of Providence sees through me, not at me, not to me. And you will wish you had stayed as far the hell away from hell as possible. Your life... is my bitch... Welcome to Savageland.

Noble Savage now seemingly drops into the ring, disappearing, leaving nothing but her robe on the mat. The kneeling druids now stand and the lights cut out.

Seconds later, the lights come back and it is as if no one was ever even there.

Remi: Did I... Did I see that?

Clearwater: I felt it. The same stomach-turning chill that I felt earlier when the lights blew out, I felt now when she took the ring. Unbelievable.

Architects vs WarSaw Pact

Clearwater: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen for tonights main event which is another match in Block B for the APW Tag Team Championship tournament to conclude at APW BATTLECADE!

Remi: Joining us on commentary is the legendary leader and founder of the Cowgirls From Hell, Meghan Kelser!

Meghan Kelser: The pleasure is all mine, plus is it gives me a great opportunity to check out what is going on in Block B. Just from what I have seen The Architects are the ones to watch out for.

Clearwater: Well the Warsaw Pact shouldn’t be taken lightly. They are in the ring now waiting for the Architects.

“Architects” by Rise Against rocks the arena! Orange and red spotlights fade up slowly, like the sun rising to reveal a fire in the sky, illuminating two silhouettes. Damon Warrens and Smith Jones stand with their heads bowed. Jones wears a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. Warrens is adorned in long white tights covered in blood splatters, white wrestling boots, white knee pads, white wrist tape, a black belt, black muscle shirt with "New Era" across the front. White elbow pads, and a long white trench coat with black buckles and straps resembling a strait jacket which also has blood splatters across it. Finally he wears a white expressionless mask with creepy white contact lenses. Warrens has a kendo stick slung over his shoulder. They all keep their heads bowed during the ring announcement.

Jessica Kaine: Coming down the aisle… at a total combined weight of four hundred fifty-four pounds… Damon Warrens and Smith Jones… The Architects!!!

They raise their arms, thrusting them directly into the path of the spotlights as the crowd erupts into cheers! The Architects stride confidently down to ringside as the crowd loses their minds! Jones has already arrived at the ring as he mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the apron before parting the ropes and entering the ring. Damon rolls in under the bottom rope and meets Smith inside. They fist bump one another before crossing to opposite sides of the ring and standing on different middle turnbuckles. Smith shrugs off his white robe and stoically scans the crowd with a sneer. Damon points his kendo stick at the fans in the front row and yells at them. They both return to the middle of the ring and stare down the men across from them.

DING! DING! DING!

Bundy and Warbird quickly worked out who would start, with Bundy taking the lead. They nod and Bundy turns, only to find that it is Jones starting things out for the Architects. Bundy circles Jones, who merely turns with him, his eyes staring deep through Bundy. Buzzsaw then steps in for a lock up, which Jones obliges and the two connect. Jones immediately throws Bundy back towards the corner, and Bundy has to stumble to maintain his balance. Stepping in, Bundy goes for another lock up, but Jones this time, twists the man’s arm into an arm bar. Bundy slaps his shoulder then ducks under to reverse it. As he steps behind Jones, locking the arm, Jones falls backwards, squashing Buzzsaw into the corner, breaking the hold.

Meghan Kelser: Pretty mediocre start so far.

Remi: They are feeling each other out.

Jones then spins and throws three hard forearms and pulls Bundy to his corner and tags in Damon. Damon steps in and takes control with his own arm bar and drives his forearm into the back of Bundy’s head a couple of times. Buzzsaw then is able to duck down, reverses the move and grabs Damon in a head lock. Once there, he wrenches on Damon’s head, and the Nitemare King tries to push Bundy off, but he holds tight. Both men fall back to the ropes, and with them to hold him in place, Damon shoves Bundy across the way. Bundy hits the other side, bounces off and jumps over Damon, coming off the other side and Damon tries for a hip toss, but Bundy reverses it and Damon tastes canvas. Bundy jumps right up, and gets taking back down with an arm drag into a headlock rest hold.

Clearwater: This is amazing display of the technical abilities of both teams.

Meghan Kelser: Decent teamwork as well.

Bundy cinches the hold in, until Damon turns his body and gets to his feet. He rushes backwards to slam Bundy into the corner, but Buzzsaw sidesteps and Damon hits the steel corner. Bundy then slaps in Warbird. Warbird comes in, and grabs Damon and throws him across the ring to the kitty corner, and comes in with a splash that Damon eats. Warbird hits three chops and the crowd WOOOOs in response, then whips Damon back to the previous corner, however Damon reverses the whip and Warbird visits the corner in his stead. Warbird turns, only to get a payback with a splash from Damon, followed by a running bulldog. Damon then tags in Jones.

Meghan Kelser: The Architects are doing well staying fresh.

As Warbird gets back to his feet, Jones jumps up and nails the challenger with a leg drop to the back of his head, and Warbird gets a taste of the canvas himself. Rolling Warbird over, Jones covers.

Two!!

Kickout!

Clearwater: Close one there!

Pulling Warbird up, Jones secures a sleeper, but Warbird quickly drops to a knee, taking off a lot of the pressure and rolls around, loosening the hold and as Jones tries to reestablish the connect, Warbird twists and kicks Jones squarely in the jaw. The Architect is dazed, stepping back and Warbird tags in Bundy. Together, the two men hook hands and deliver a strong clothesline that sends Jones over the top rope to the floor below. As the referee orders Bundy back to his corner, Warbird slides out of the ring and grabs a steel chair to blast Jones over the head. Before Damon can get over there, the crowd is shocked when Eddie Silk grabs the chair out of Warbird hands and admonishes him for trying to cheat. Warbird yells at Sean, allowing Jones time to get back to his feet and he shoves Warbird into the steel barrier.

Meghan Kelser: He’s lucky he didn’t get disqualified. Doesn’t seem like the Warsaw Pact cares about adavancing.

Remi: Isn’t winning, winning?

Jones throws Warbird back onto the ring apron, climbs the steps and goes for a leg drop off the apron across Warbird neck. However, Bundy rushes in and pulls Warbird into the ring and Jones hits nothing, falling to the floor. Damon shouts for his brother to stand, while Warbird follows Bundy to their corner and tags his partner in. Bundy jumps down off the apron and runs around the ring and goes for a kick to Jones’s head, but the Architect stands abruptly and catches Bundy by the throat and goes for a body slam. As he lifts Bundy up, Buzzsaw grabs the ropes and breaks free. Bundy then goes for another kick, but Jones sidesteps him and punches him square across the jaw. Bundy drops like a sack of potatoes and Jones rolls him into the ring and tries for another cover.

One!

Two!!

2 ½ KICKOUT!

Jones tags Damon back in. Damon rushes to the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Bundy rolls away and Damon turns to see where he went. Bundy stands and Damon lashes out with a superkick, but Bundy falls back to his corner and Warbird tags in. Warbird rushes Damon and the two trade punches and kicks, with Warbird getting the upper hand and throwing Damon into the corner. Damon is then raised to the top rope and Warbird climbs up after him. They trade more punches, and Damon hits a round house that causes Warbird to fall onto his back in the middle of the ring. Bundy runs over and slips in and climbs to finish the job, punching Damon hard and then setting him up for a super plex! Jones then stomps in, comes over and bends to get Bundy on his shoulders and lifts up and falls back, sending Bundy who has Damon in the super plex up and back, and the three men crash backwards, with Damon landing back first over Warbird horizontal form!

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Meghan Kelser: Started out slow but this is starting to get good. Glad to see there is competition in Block B!

Clearwater: The fans are losing it!

The chant echoes throughout the arena as the four men lay there, exhausted. Eddie Silk tries his best to get Jones and Bundy out of the ring, as Warbird and Damon recover, slowly and stand. Damon with a punch, Warbird with a block, and then vice versa. Damon with a kick to the gut, bending Warbird over and then goes for a swinging neck breaker, but Warbird throws him off into the corner. Warbird runs in, Damon sidesteps and hits a kick to the back of Warbird head. As Warbird stumbles backwards, Damon comes off the rope with a shoulder tackle, and then as Warbird lays on the canvas, Damon hits the ropes and connects with The Badd Dream.

One!

Two!!

KICKOUT!

Damon growls and picks up Warbird and drags him to his corner where he tags in Jones. The two then proceed to double team Warbird for a couple of minutes, exhausting the challenger to the point of collapse. The ref finally gets Damon out of the ring, and Jones whips Warbird to the ropes, who comes back, manages to duck and bounces off the far end and slides through Jones’s legs and makes the hot tag to Buzzsaw Bundy.

Meghan Kelser: I’m amazed at the sheer willpower of The Warsaw Pact

Remi: What can the Architects do to win this thing?

Meghan Kelser: Simple. They need to want it more.

Jones turns as Bundy comes in with a drop kick that backs Jones up, but didn’t get the full impact as Jones stumbles back. Bundy off the ropes with a second drop kick that gets swiped aside by the Architect, he’s World Champion for a reason. Bundy, tenacious as he is, comes off the ropes again, but this time drives his drop kick into Jones’s knee. Jones drops to one knee, and Bundy with a final drop kick that sends the Champ onto his back. Bundy tries for a cover.

One!

KICKOUT!

Jones rolls over and tags in his partner. Damon enters and goes after Bundy, and the two trade punches again. Damon then ducks a swing by Bundy and hits Near Death Experience! The crowd roars as he makes the cover.

One!

Two!!

THR--KICKOUT!

Damon is up in a instant and argues with Eddie Silk! With his back turned, Bundy tags in Warbird and as Damon spins, he gets speared down from Warbird and he covers.

One!

Two!!

Jones pulls Warbird off and Bundy returns and the four men begin to brawl outside the ring.

Meghan: Things are chaotic they better figure this shit out before we get another Wilds/Muertos match next week!

Clearwater: Speaking of that, Max is a little crazy?

Meghan Kelser: My little ball of Chaos. Don’t let her hear you talk like that.

IF ARCHITECTS WIN!

The ref has lost control as the four men brawl outside the ring. Jones throws Bundy into the steel steps, and then runs to drive his knee to the side of Bundy’s head, but Bundy moves and Jones eats steel. Bundy falls backwards laughing banging his head anyways. Meanwhile, Damon throws Warbird into the ring, jumps in and hits the JUSTFIABLE HOMICIDE! Damon drops and hooks the leg!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: And your winners and advancing in the APW Tag Team Title Tournament….. the team of Smith Jones and Damon Warrens….. THE ARCHITECTS!

Remi: So what did you think of the match?

Meghan Kelser: Well, all I can say is I can’t wait to face off with the Architects at Battlecade!

Clearwater: You still have to beat a few more teams to get there.

Meghan Kelser: Maybe you didn’t hear me and Max when we said we are taking over this town.

The Architects are celebrating their win as their music plays and the fans chant their approval. Meghan Kelser has left the announce desk and his slid into the ring. The two men look at her quizzically and all she does is smile and does a slow golf clap. She mouths the word Battlecade and slides out of the ring. Meghan is met at the top of the ramp by her partner and they both make a point to look back down at the ring and staredown the Architects.

Clearwater: Regardless of what the Cowgirls said tonight about moving forward… either way these two teams are destined to meet.

Fade to black screen with the APW logo emblazoned in the center.
