This is supposed to be a promo about the upcoming Tag Team Title Tournament (4T) if you wanna try to be technical about it, but let's take some steps back. See, most places don't like keeping a story line, so let's see what we can do. How about we go back to Liberty or Death, remember that last Pay-Per-View? Let's first get this promo out of the way before we talk about this tag tournament.
{Earlier in the Day} {Location: Hartford, Connecticut}
{Date: 3/2/2020} Monday Night Metal
Upon arriving to the arena early in the day, agents approached Aaron to talk about the night's match. Forget the fact that he went through a vicious assault during the Triple Threat Match at the previous Pay-Per-View event, Liberty or Death. Was it maybe shock to some that this newcomer to the company was there with his gear ready to compete again? Now after that match, it’s fair to say that yes, Aaron had to be seen at a medical facility. Whoever wasn’t seen after that match is trying to no-sell that shit pretty good. That’s where they’re stupid because of everything that happened during that match. So yeah, Aaron had some scars and bruises but it’s nothing that make-up can’t hide but because of the severity of the match, he had to first see the medics. So, as he arrived to Metal, Aaron walked down the hall and to the medic room. Inside, he met with the lead doctor who had him sit on the long table and remove his shirt. With a slight turn of his head, Aaron noticed the doctor's unusual face.
[AB] “What”?
Finding out that his ribs were bruised and he still had a few scratches and scrapes from the Pay-Per-View days earlier, the doctor started feeling around to see if anything was more severe. It was when he was told to breath in deep to check his lungs, that after a deep breath and closing his eyes, a vision popped in his head from what took place after the Liberty or Death event.
What had happened?
As Aaron exited the hospital where he had just been released, a limousine was waiting for him and as the door opened, a hand emerged motioning for Aaron to enter. Walking to the car and getting inside, Aaron was shocked to see who the man was talking to him. But as the limousine pulled away, the window rolled down just enough for the tattooed hand of Aaron to drop the bracelet from his hospital admittance on the ground.
Aaron’s eyes were still closed as the medic called out “Aaron, Aaron” which by the Second time and a gentle shake on the shoulder, he came back to and the doctor’s result. There was nothing abnormal heard and so he passed that part of the examination. The check-up was over and as he was leaving the medic room, the parasite I mean backstage interviewer Dani Applegate, was quick to get her jollies off by getting an interview. At first Aaron wasn’t going to pay her any mind but seeing a cameraman with her, he motioned for her to follow him and so they all walked down the hall until they came to a stairwell where Aaron turned around and sat on a step and waved his hand at Dani as to say “go on”. Getting the hint, so obviously she wasn’t a Blonde, the cameraman began to roll the camera as Dani asked her first question.
{Dani Applegate} “Aaron Blade, you were just seen coming from the medical examiner for APW. What did they say”?
Looking at her with a stupid look and a slight movement of his head, he masturbated her brain with what she wanted.
[AB] “Look, Dani, is it? Just shut up and let me talk. What the fuck kind of question is that? You see me coming out from seeing the damn doc and you ask me what they said. If you wanna know so bad, go talk to them but no, you come to me. I’ll tell you how I’m doing though. I fucking hurt like hell. You watched Liberty or Death, right? Or were you busy watching that Kobe Bryant memorial? Whatever you were doing, you know you didn’t understand it. In that case it was probably porn. Hell, you probably couldn’t understand Sesame Street. So just stand there and shut up (he turns his attention to the cameraman) and you, just stand there with the camera on me. After Liberty or Death which sounds like a fucking Isis documentary, I had time to think on everything that’s happened up to now. I mean this was my Second match. How many people can say that they walked in right off of their debut and got a title match? I didn’t expect it but I took the ball and ran with it. When I got here, I didn’t know what to expect but I showed up and I made a champion shoot his load? I didn’t masturbate his ego. I stood up to the prick to show him that he couldn’t intimidate me. So what better way to settle it? A match.
Now when I was laying there in the Massachusetts General Hospital after a brutal match, I had time to think real hard on why I do what I do. Why is it that I put my body on the line and why is it that I get beat up and carried out of a match only to come back the next week. You want to know why? It’s because I can! I came here to compete with the best because it’s all I’ve heard everywhere I’ve been. All you hear is APW is where it’s at. I get here and the first thing I get is some coke-head bully wanting to pick a fight. So before my first match I got to worry if I’m going to get jumped by this guy who probably can’t even put his boots on by himself because he stays coked up. But I know you want your damn story so I’ll get to that. You’re thinking I wish he’d get to it already but you’re free to go if you want but this cameraman stays here. Now, are you good”? (Dani nods her head and steps back to lean against the wall). “Now, back to this crackhead piece of shit. Zombie McMorris, you no-selling talentless pathetic hack. I can see why you’re the HorrorKore champion because that’s the only title you can get. All the other titles around here would mean you’d have to know how to wrestle and not just use objects, but you pulled a gun at a damn Pay-Per-View and tried to injure if not kill someone? Well, you injured Two fans which I’m surprised you’re not sued or APW isn’t sued, but who the fuck do you think you are? New Jack? You should go watch The Wrestler and learn that the only thing you should be doing is sitting in a damn VFW signing autographs with others who’s wrestling career is going nowhere.
But you continue to hang on to whatever career you think you have left and yeah, I bit off more than I can chew because I said I was going to take that title from you. I didn’t know that management would screw me and put someone else in the match because they wanted to make sure their dinosaur didn’t go extinct. Now I’m not saying Jason wasn’t good but this match was supposed to be me and Zombie. It started with us and then I heard that another guy is in the match. But now I see why they call him Zombie because he’s the Rob Van Dam of APW. But that’s his problem dealing with whatever drug policy they have here. As far as everything else that happened in that match, Jason is now saying that I was next to useless? I mean I was next to you so you’re calling yourself useless? That limousine that picked me up when I got out of the hospital…, [Aaron shakes his head]...sorry I’m getting ahead of myself”. [Aaron clears his throat and adjusts himself in his seat before continuing].
Jason, correct me if I’m wrong but who was it that helped you save the match? But I’m useless. You said that Zombie made the match a joke basically, so I did my part in helping save the match and I think save you a few times. Who helped you light Zombie on fire? Maybe that little electrocution from the car battery wasn’t fully charged or it was and you’re having some memory lapses. But you say that management wants to put you and him together some more hoping that it’ll drive you out of here. That’s funny, I got the same message saying that Zombie’s job is to fight us both until we leave the company. Sounds to me like he’s management’s errand boy. But enough about that jackass. Let’s talk about what obviously you came here for. This Tag Team Tournament that management put together. Yes, the same management that wants their polished turd to hold onto a HorrorKore title because they’ll probably be sued if they called in something else.
So this little tournament they’re putting on, if you’re a team then you’re fighting together but if you’re a Singles guy like me, you get put with a partner. No, you can’t pick your partner, because they choose one for you. Almost the same way Jason was chosen to be put in a match he didn’t belong in. But it happened and now onto the next match because that’s how it goes in this business. It’s always what’s next. No, I didn’t say who’s next like that William Jackhammer guy, but just thinking what’s next for me. I’m already Three matches into my career here at APW. My debut, I lost to Cray Mitchell and then that Pay-Per-View match was my Second match, so yeah, this first match in the tournament makes my Third match. Now this match isn’t just a normal match, no, that would be too easy. This is a tag team version of King of the Ring. You and your partner have to run a gauntlet to get to the end of APW’s Yellow brick road to becoming tag team champions. Well isn’t that swell. So when I saw this, I was thinking okay, I can find myself a partner. No, they don’t like the idea. I got thrown into my first match against a guy who threw potatoes and probably never was properly trained. Then I find myself in a match with some guy who thinks he’s PCO in the Honor Ring getting set on fire or thinking he’s some hardcore New Jack. But now I get placed with Masuda Teijin. First off, who?
I’m honored and shocked at the same time because I know who the guy is but I didn’t know he was here. I mean, shit, it’s Masuda. I’ve traveled around the world and wrestled here and there and I’ve heard of him but never faced him or even teamed with him, but I know his style. That almost put a smile on my face as I’m in the ring with someone with actual talent, but that changed when I found out who our first opponents were. As I read the names, Old Man? I almost thought I’d be fighting Zombie McDonalds or whatever his name is again, and that they changed his name or something. But really, this put a smile on my face because remember how I said I lost my debut? Well, that loss came at the hands of Cray Mitchell and now, that little piss ant is going to be my opponent in this Round One tournament match. [Looking into the camera] Cray, I warned you that we would meet again. I told you that I was going to redeem myself and now I know exactly who you are. You also know who I am or do you? See, I had some time to think and while you may have gotten your first win over me, I look at that much different now. It was my first loss and I allowed you to get that win because I wanted to see what you had.
I would say this is a psychological game, but I know that’s probably too big of a word for you to comprehend, sorry, I meant understand. But in order to be a teacher of the game, you have to see what the student knows. You put all your effort into letting your opponent think you’re beat, but all because the referee raises your hand as the winner, everyone fails to look down at their opponent who is smiling and laughing because they know exactly where you’re at in their human Chess game. And Cray, that is exactly where you are because see, I told you I would see you again. You probably underestimated me then but what about now? I knew the turn would come back around and I would stalk you looking for that moment to strike. You probably thought that you’d seen the last of me but that’s what makes me and you different. See, you just do and as it pertains to me, well, I think now before I do. And this time, I can promise you that the outcome of what happened before, it will be so...so much different. We’ll see you and your old man in the ring”.
Aaron smiles as he finished speaking.
Looking at the camera and not moving, he suddenly grabbed the camera and turned his head slightly while looking crazed and almost psychotically into the camera. Perhaps his character was more of a Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde persona? Nobody really knew except him and if you're brave enough to get into his mind, apparently you'd be the one laying on the couch talking to a shrink and not the shrink laying on the cough talking to you. But whatever the case, it's apparent that Aaron's goal was certain. To stand up to the one who once claimed victory over him and prove to not just himself but to APW management and the rest of the locker room exactly what Aaron Blade, despite being made fun of his name, will take that and use that anger and determination to prove why he joined Alpha Pro Wrestling.

Moments later...sitting backstage looking at the ticker clock on the wall, the countdown until time for the night’s show had been winding down. Aaron pulls out his phone from his pocket and goes on Social Media, Twitter to be exact, and says the following…
His failed debut, it was forgotten. His second chance at a first impression was gone. They say “third time’s a charm”, it was time to prove it. So begins his journey to a championship, so begins the fight to be noticed, so begins the entrance of Bad Boy Energy.

alphaprowrestling.boards.net/post/5029
After posting his Tweet, Aaron waited for Masuda to arrive but nothing. No text, Tweet, phone call or even a messenger was sent his way to let him know that he was at the building, much less, ready for this match. Now inside the arena, the arena quickly began to fill up and now it was like every show so far that he had been a part of, sold out. That crowd could be heard from backstage even with everyone talking and running around at the last minute as it was just about time for the fun to begin. Having not seen his tag team partner yet, other than hearing word that he had cut a promo for their match, he really didn't need to see him. Having heard the promo that was done by Masuda on their match, Aaron had learned what he needed to know. Judging by the monitors in the back, that he was watching, it was clear that the crowd was hyped for the tournament to crown APW’s first Tag Team Champions. With Sixteen thousand plus fans cheering, after Jessica Kaine got them ready, the goose bumps were felt across his neck and arms, the adrenaline of the roar of the crowd pumped him up for the fight he’s hoping for. So the usual took place as backstage agents would call out the names of the participants of the next match and they would take their places behind the entrance curtain. So...
His failed debut, it was forgotten. His second chance at a first impression was gone. They say “third time’s a charm”, it was time to prove it. So begins his journey to a championship, so begins the fight to be noticed, so begins the entrance of Bad Boy Energy.
