A 19,500 plus strong crowd roars with approval as red, white, and blue pyro fountains up on either side of the stage and along the ramp all the way to the ring. Spotlights play across the hyped-up fans in syncopation with the event’s music -- Grave Digger’s “Liberty or Death”. T-shirts wave like hundreds of flags. The camera pans across, picking up homemade signs with photos of favored wrestlers clipped from trade magazines; names, and catchphrases like: “I’M RIGHT HERE!” .... “Lucy, be MY Daddy!” and “KILL, ZMAC, KILL!” or “DIE, JASON, DIE!” Younger fans lift plastic replica belts up high, posing like the champions they admire. The graphic splashed across the AlphaTron gives way to individual portraits of each wrestler entered into the night’s main event, one by one: Cray Mitchell, Marko Rask, Eilich Fjell, Patrick Kay Anthony, Arrow Zane, El Muertos, John Blade, Gunner, Old Man, Jaice Wilds, Aaron Osmosis, Alex Scott, Damon Warrens, and Andre Aquarius. As one picture emerges, the previous one shrinks down until all 14 images are arranged in two rows across the screen. The words “Alpha Pro World Title Contendership” are stamped across the images in a font like molten iron, which then wipes the entire screen with a slow-burning effect. At last, the camera pans down to ringside, where Mike Clearwater and Jonah “Remi” St. Remington are seated at the commentary booth.

Clearwater: Welcome, APW Faithful, to our second pay-per-view of 2020 -- LIBERTY OR DEATH!

Remi: DUDES! Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly top 2020 Ways to Die, we’re coming back at y’all with this HUGE main event! Fourteen guys battling it out for a shot at the top spot in this organization!

Clearwater: The best part is, anybody could win! There are veterans and debuting newcomers alike entered into the Battle Royal -- it’s literally anybody’s game!

Remi: And all because Lucy Sixx pulled a fast one on everybody -- throwing away a perfectly good World Title shot, rather than give up her North American Championship! What was she thinking, Mikey-bro?!

Clearwater: That is a question best put to Lucy Sixx herself! She’ll be defending that North American title here tonight, against one-third of the Architects -- Lex Collins!

Remi: While her tag team partner, and -- girlfriend, I guess? -- Cecilia Ortiz defends the Junior Heavyweight strap against fan favorite “Breezy” Eli Beazley; and in true #HORRORKORE style, Zombie McMorris faces down TWO men intent on prying that hardcore title from around his waist -- Jason Ryan and Aaron Blaze! 

Clearwater: With all the heat they’ve been drawing in the Twitterverse, this contest is bound to be bloody and savage!

Remi: No doubt, bro! Jason Ryan been bringing that fyah since he arrived, but ZMAC has been there to douse the flames at every turn! And after that tag match two weeks ago, when Z and Jaice Wilds took Ryan’s refusal to participate as an insult, he’s sure to be looking for some payback!

Clearwater: And what about the fate of the World Title itself? Without a contender, Smith Jones made it distinctly clear he was upset about being left off the Liberty or Death card -- until the General Manager’s enforcer, Spartan, stepped up to the challenge! In a late addition to the lineup tonight, Smith Jones will, in fact, be defending his belt!

Remi: He wants to be known as a fighting champion, bro! THE fighting champion! Can you blame him?

Clearwater: No, I certainly can’t. There’s nobody better suited to lead this company than a champion who’s ready to throw down at any time! And speaking of a throwdown -- tonight’s opening match features Ultimate Destroyer taking on Odin Balfore, bringing an end to a feud that originated just a month ago at 2020 Ways to Die!

Remi: Destroyer was already in a foul mood after the interference in his match, and was just looking for someone to take it out on -- but I don’t think the All-Father was the best choice, my dude! 

Clearwater: Be that as it may, Remi, that’s where we are. So without further ado… give us Liberty or give us Death!

El Muertos Segment

Troy Butler is backstage with Damon Warrens to conduct an interview for tonight's main event. Warrens looks focused and composed.

Butler: It’s a big night ton….

Before he can get a sentence out El Muertos walks by snatching the microphone out of Butler’s hand in one swift motion as he walks on. Warrens steps forward as if he was going to pounce on El Muertos but the luchador has continued down the backstage corridor too quickly. Warrens instead can be seen mouthing him off instead.

El Muertos: I’m not a murderer Damon, I’m a survivor of cartel land. He’s never known hardship like I've seen. He can sit in an armchair and look at pictures all he wants, men like me have put real work in to earn what we have.

Muertos throws his middle finger back at Warrens flipping him off as he turns a corner down the corridor. He talks directly to the camera while continuing to walk backstage.

El Muertos: It’s true that I do hurt people. My opponents tonight have said some slanderous things about me in the last couple of days. But it is true, I will hurt them. Amigos, i'm a healer, a teacher, a guiding hand. With every punch, kick and drop on your head I'll beat sense into all of you. Soy el hombre que arreglará tu patética carrera. Evil controls all of you, evil guides your actions. Men like me use evil as a tool to punish the worst of us. Abuse the evil and you become the worst of us.

He steps through a door into a catering area, familiar APW faces are seen in the background as Muertos continues to walk at pace.

El Muertos: Tonight is about liberty, thirteen souls will be set free at my hands. I promise changes, grandes cambios. All of you watching are witnesses to my massacre. Thirteen deaths, thirteen reborn new men. Gracias mañana, they will thank me tomorrow, once they understand that they have to learn from death and loss. I understand, ese, it’s hard for you to understand that i’m the good guy. You don’t want to cheer the mexcian painted up like a skull fixated with death promising such violent lessons. Surely I'm the bad guy? Bad and evil are very different ese. Good hasn’t got anyone far in this industry for years, but in Alpha there are many evil souls. It’s gonna take a bad man to beat them!

Back in a corridor he stops outside a dressing room reading Patrick Kay Anthony.

El Muertos: Cheer for me, boo me. I promise liberty lucha style. I’ll be the contender and then champion and bring peace to Alpha, one painful lesson at a time. It all starts tonight, I promise big changes tonight. See you later PKA. Que la muerte te acompañe.

Odin Balfore vs Ultimate Destroyer

Remi: Bro!

Clearwater: What’s up, Remi?

Remi: We are about to witness mayhem! We are about to witness carnage! We are about to feel the tectonic plates collide!

Clearwater: Are you talking about Odin Balfore and Ultimate Destroyer?

Remi: Bro! What else could move mountains, reshape continents, suck meteors down from outer space of course I am talking about Odin Balfore taking on Ultimate Destroyer!

Jessica Kaine: The following contest is scheduled for one fall… coming to the ring first… hailing from parts unknown… weighing in at four hundred pounds… HE IS ULTIMATE DESTROYER!!

Air Raid Sirens fill the arena as four men wheel out a steel box to the edge of the ringside area. One man takes a key and unlocks the door of the box. The escorts run to the back as fast as they can as Ultimate Destroyer pushes the door open and climbs into the ring.

Jessica Kaine: His opponent… fighting out of the federal district of Poon Guinea… weighing in at three hundred and sixty pounds…. He is The All-Father… he is ODIN BALFORE!!

“ With Oden On Our Side” Hit’s the PA system. The arena grows dark as the fans get to their feet to catch a glimpse of the stage. The fans stand and cheer an once the vocals starts, the arena lights flash back on and there stands Odin Balfore, centre stage. Odin stares down at the ring with a sinister grin as the fans sing along with the chorus.

Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!

Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!

The fans pop insanely right after as Odin begins to walk down the ramp at a slow an methodical pace. Once he gets to the foot of the ring, he steps up on it and looks around the arena again before stepping over the ropes..

Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist...

Odin cuts off the fans as he raises his hand in triumph. Odin turns back to the ring as the fans finish their part.

Crowd: The battle is.. already won!

Odin stares down his opponent as he waits for the match to get underway.

Remi: Oh yeah! Shit is about to get real right now!

DING! DING! DING!

Destroyer and Odin circle each other as they prepare for war. Time seems to stand still the behemoths of wrestling stare each other down in a show of physical dominance, then as quick as a flash of lightning both men surge at each other and connect with incredible double clotheslines. Both men crash to the mat and bounce back up.

Remi: HELL YEAH!

The close the gap between each other and then fists start flying.

Clearwater: If Deontay Wilder was watching this, he would see how to take bomb punches from an opponent.

Remi Bro! Tyson Fury ain’t got nothing on these two.

Ultimate Destroyer BLOCKS Odin! Destroyer nails Odin driving him back towards the ropes. Odin swings but he is blocked by UD again. And again he drives Odin to the ropes with another DEVASTATING overhand right. As Odin lays against the ropes, Destroyer runs back and goes to clothesline him over the top rope but such is the FORCE of the impact Odin gets arms tied up and his hanging there facing the crowd. Destroyer runs back and then DRIVES A KNEE INTO THE SMALL OF ODIN’S BACK!!

Remi: DID YOU SEE THAT!!

Clearwater: Destroyer rocked Odin there. Odin is down on all fours on the outside after being driven out of the ropes.

Remi: Bro! Yeah that, but I AM TELLING YOU HE MOVED THE RING HE HIT HIM WITH SUCH POWER!!

UD looks down at the fallen Odin and climbs out of the ring. He jumps down to the outside he raises Odin to his feet but Odin NAILS Destroyer with a huge FIST to the gut as he is being lifted up to his feet. Odin strikes with ANOTHER FIST AND ANOTHER!! Each powerful punch connecting to the sternum of Ultimate Destroyer driving the wind from his lungs and with his punch UD is lift further and further off the ground. ANOTHER PUNCH ANOTHER! ANOTHER! Odin is able to get Ultimate Destroyer onto his shoulder and from there he lifts the MAMMOTH Destroyer above his head in a gorilla press and DROPS HIM FACE FIRST ONTO THE APRON!!

Remi: Bro!

Clearwater: Ultimate Destroyer looks broken!

Odin rolls back into the ring to break up the referee’s count which had gotten to nine.

Clearwater: No, Destroyer is getting to his feet!

Remi: Bro!

Odin is motioning with the palm of his hand calling for Ultimate Destroyer to get back into the ring. Destroyer pulls himself into the ring and runs at Odin, while Odin starts running at Destroyer. Both men duck under each other’s respective clothesline attempts. They bounce off the ropes and come back at each other and miss again. This time Odin hooks the ropes. Destroyer comes back and before Odin can react he Destroyer clotheslines him over the top rope and Odin goes tumbling into the box that was used to bring Destroyer to the ring. Destroyer climbs out of the ring and LIFTS THE BOX ABOVE HIS HEAD WITH ODIN INSIDE AND DROPS IT DOWN ONTO THE STEEL RAMPWAY!!

Remi: Broooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Clearwater: Holy SHIT!

CROWD: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Clearwater: I’ve got no words to describe what I’ve just seen. Nothing!

Remi: Broooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Ultimate Destroyer rips the door off its hinges and throws into the barricades. He pulls Odin out of the box and lifts him up above his head and KICKS HIM IN THE BALLS!!

Remi: BRO! I FELT THAT!

Clearwater: Every man in the building felt that.

Destroyer tosses Odin to the ground and Odin crawls his way to a seated position against the ring steps. Destroyer sees his prey and charges at the All-Father and raises his knee but Odin moves and Destroyer drives his knee through the steel. Both men are down on the ground.

Spanky: EIGHT!

Odin stirs to his feet. As does Ultimate Destroyer.

Clearwater: Do you think they realise Spanky O’Shaughnessy is counting.

Odin grabs a chair from under the ring. As Ultimate Destroyer!

Spanky: NINE!

Remi: Doesn’t look like it bro.

The two titans charge at each other and CLANG! As their chairs crash against each other. The drop their weapons.

Spanky: TEN!

DING! DING! DING!

Odin grabs UD and throws him into the barricade near the ramp.

Jessica Kaine: As a result of a double count-out, this match has been declared a draw!

Remi: The match is over, bro!

Clearwater: But I don’t think the fight is.

Balfore grabs UD but UD reverses it and tosses UD into the barricades on the opposite of the ramp.

Remi: Here comes the trainee referee brigade to seperate them.

The four unnamed trainee referees try to get in between Odin and Ultimate Destroyer but each man grabs one man in each hand around the throat. QUADRUPLE CHOKESLAMS ON THE STEEL!!!

Remi: Hope they got insurance, bro!

The carnage doesn’t stop UD and Balfore going for each other, they step over the remnants of man and wraps their hands around their hands and just punch away with their free arms. Odin then tosses UD up the ramp and against the barricades. He goes to repeat the process but UD grabs him and throws him into the glass under the alpha tron. Odin bounces back off the glass.As UD grabs Odin, Odin twists and grabs Destroyer at the same time. Both get caught up in their own momentum.

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!

THEY GO CRASHING THROUGH THE GLASS!!!

Remi: Brooooooooooooooo!

Clearwater: I feel you, Remi. I’ve got no words to describe what I have just seen.Two of the largest most intimidating men just went to war tonight.

Remi: Bro, you said it!

Masuda Teijin Segment

We cut to back the announce table where Mike Clearwater and Remi have a big story to break.

Clearwater: Welcome back, and we were promised a big surprise tonight.

St. Remi: Maybe it has to do with the tag tournament!&nbsp;

Clearwater: What's that? No, it can't be!

Fans jump to their seats at the sudden toll of a gong, followed by the opening chorus of "Der Konig der Dunkleheit". Although their sudden surprise turns from lowering lights towards the Alpha-tron. Scenes from the earliest days of APW show the arrival of men in all-black security uniforms opening a car door for none other than the late Masuda Jubei, including a still title frame with his name in both English and Kanji. A narrator pipes in with a retelling of Masuda's ill-fated story in a raspy Japanese voice:

"One force to rule them all. A great champion who knew no master other than where the winds took him. A brave warrior to some, but feared by those whom shared the grandest ring in professional wrestling. His name moves mountains, but his legacy built new ones in their place. Behold the greatest legacy and even grander being: the Master, the King of APW, Masuda Jubei... The Best of Masuda Jubei, a legacy retold by the matches that defined Alpha Pro-Wrestling. "Rope and Ladder" by Rope and Ladder brings out the fiery Masuda Teijin wearing a baby blue suit.

St. Remi: It's Masuda's nephew! What a wonderful moment Mikey... I think I'm going to cry.

Clearwater: Don't get too carried away. We don't even know what he's doing here. He's not even contracted to APW!

St. Remi: Come on, give the boy a chance!

He arrives to the ring looking uncomfortable in every worst way, yet he takes up the microphone as the best of do albeit with reluctant stares all around him. He soaks in their outrage and confusion before delivering what the grand weight on chest.

Teijin: Alpha Pro-Wrestling... what a cool name. You know, my uncle used to say some pretty shitty things about you guys.

He pauses so the fans can boo him and the picture of Masuda Jubei on the Alpha-tron.

Teijin: But am I only one getting tired of speaking about him in reverence? I can't be the only one, right? Here lies Jubei in the great tomb of kings while the rest of this company has moved on from what he did. Yet what's more important is seeing now what he tried to destroy but still fell short... this ring, that logo, and of course, all of you here tonight. What a show!

That draws some boos but much less than before, some have even begun chanting "Rot in Hell" at the glorified image smirking from beyond the grave. Teijin smirks too.

Teijin: So that fun... now I'd be remiss if I didn't let you weirdos know that I'm not just here to Vana White a skip-able feature-length special about my uncle. Like, you should buy it for the sake of APW revenue. But don't bother watching it. It'll only remind us what happens when we let tyrants get what they want. I mean, Jesus guys, who the hell gave him his own PPV? Why feed a demon? That's what they want... and they never stop - okay, look. The point is that nobody should stop and bow before that old bastard. He was a terrible a man as he was a father figure to me. You got the Diet Coke version. And I see all your shaking heads out there. But that's the god's honest truth. He hated everyone. So let's give him the final finger he deserves and never watch that film so long as we all may live.

That candid bit actually wins a few sections of the arena albeit the overwhelming boos raining over top of a paltry some of cheers.

Teijin: Truth is, I'm not only here to be a figurehead for APW's brass. Nor am I here to promote my uncle's screwed up legacy. I have just completed the final signing of my contract, and now an Alpha. Boo me. Love me. It doesn't make any difference... no one here knows what I'm capable of doing with the right push. So let's find out together. Because I'm putting my name into the Tag Team Tournament. Book it Irina! And watch as I bring back the level of respect this company has long deserved. Oh, and one more thing Oji-san...

He turns over his shoulder to give Jubei's visage the middle finger. After holding that raging digit for several seconds, and the cheers it garners all around the arena, Teijin leaves to his theme.

St. Remi: It's not a debut, but I must say that I'm intrigued.

Clearwater: Yet another big name jumping ship to Alpha Pro-Wrestling. Now you we can also add Masuda Teijin to the big board.

St. Remi: Add that more names to watch next month. We'll be right back!

El Muertos/Damon Warrens Segment

El Muertos is again walking towards the camera with a microphone in hand, but this time before he can get a word in a steel chair comes swinging out of nowhere. The impact hits Muertos in the back of the head sending him crashing to the concrete. Damon Warrens steps into shot holding the chair.

Warrens: Mr. Death... flipping people off is terribly rude you know...

Hardcore Title Match

Jason Ryan vs Aaron Blaze vs Zombie McMorris (c)

Clearwater: It's that time once again, Alpha Faithful! APW brings you our own unique spin on the Hardcore Title match! This match, as always, is no-disqualification, no holds barred, and falls count anywhere!

Remi: IT'S CHAOS BRO! AND I LOVE IT! These three guys have spent a month trashing each other on Twitter, and now they're going at it here tonight in Boston's very own TD Garden! ZMAC is the champ, and these other two dudes are going to have to really step it up if they want to get that #HORRORKORE strap from around his waist!

Clearwater: They absolutely are, Remi! Both Ryan and Blaze have proven themselves tough competitors so far, but are they ready to face the ultimate challenge in ZMAC?

Remi: We about to find out, Mikey-bro!

DING DING DING!

Match continues here...

ZMac slowly gets to his feet and tosses the crown of thorns away. He rolls under the bottom rope and under the ring. Blaze pulls Ryan to his feet and throws him into the corner.

Remi: Bro, looks like Blaze is going for the kill.

Ryan slumps to a position against the turnbuckles and ZMac appears and wraps a chain around his throat TIGHTLY pad-locking Ryan in place.

Clearwater: ZMac has taken Ryan out of the match.

ZMac swallows the key as Ryan struggles against the chain. ZMac rolls under the bottom rope and Blaze swings the stop sign he picked up and misses Z as the Immortal American ducks under it. ZMac kicks Blaze in the gut and Blaze drops the sign onto the mat. Ole Z gutwrenches Blaze into the air

Clearwater: AXEWOUND ONTO THE STOP SIGN!! AXEWOUND ONTO THE STOP SIGN!!

Remi: Bro! Hold ON!

Clearwater: Z-Mac had held on as he sat down with that move. He is pulling himself and Blaze up again without ever releasing the hold - WHAT A SIGN OF STRENGTH FROM THE COKED UP MADMAN!!

Remi: BRO!! BRO!! BRO!!

Clearwater: AXEWOUND ONTO THE STOP SIGN!! AXEWOUND ONTO THE STOP SIGN!!

Remi: BRO!

Clearwater: Zombie McMorris covers!!

ONE!!

Jessica Kaine: Your winner and STILL ALPHA PRO WRESTLING HARD..ahem... HORROR KORE CHAMPION... ZOOOOOOOOOMBIEEEEEEE MCMORRIS!!!

El Muertos/PKA Segment

El Muertos: Me again amigos!

The luchador steps out of the entrance way in full ring gear to a cheer from the crowd in attendance. With a microphone in his hand he slowly walks towards the ring.

El Muertos: Thirteen men stand in my way tonight. I’m not worried amigos. See, thirteen evils is nothing for us to defeat. How many of you have to fight to survive each and every day?

The crowd cheers again.

El Muertos: Your boss, teacher, neighbours, politicians. Their evil holds all of us down. But we can defeat them. It’s nothing. TONGIHT! BOSTON! No evil will defeat us.

He’s made his way to the ring where he quickly rolls under the bottom rope to stand centre of the ring.

El Muertos: All of you here are going to fight with me. We are going to hurt the thirteen men that come out here. Remember we are not fighting the men but the evil that controls them. Can you liberate the evil that plagues ALPHA PRO WRESTLING? I CAN’T HEAR YOU BOSTON!

The crowd is getting louder and louder and starting to chant back at El Muertos.

El Muertos: ALL OF YOU RISE! It’s time to tell those thirteen men, we’re not scared to fight them and whatever controls them. WELL twelve men. All my life I have known pain and misery. In Mexico we fight to survive everyday. But i believe one man in this battle i don’t have to hurt to help. Please, PKA, amigo come out here.

Slow Motion by Sidewalks and Skeletons plays out for only a few seconds before PKA steps out of the entrance in full ring gear and a microphone.

PKA: Help... me? So you believe you need to help me, huh?

El Muertos: Brother, I already have. When we teamed last week you were liberated. The old you died reborn the man that stands here today. That match, that win put you in back in control.

PKA: Reborn? I feel like I was reborn in a car crash. For being a new man, I sure do feel old.

PKA grabs his back and smirks.

PKA: But I like it. And I did show everyone last week that I still got it. No ring rust. We gave Alex Scott and Flop way more than they could handle last week.

El Muertos: We all know, it happens too often, wrestlers don’t retire before they break. It’s sad ese. But you still got it.

The fans start chanting you still got it while PKA walks towards the ring.

PKA: I still got it, and I still feel it. And as your Wrestler of the Week..

He winks at the camera.

PKA: Tonight, I'm gonna continue on that wave and become the number one contender.

El Muertos sits on the second rope welcoming PKA in.

El Muertos: Listen to me, after tonight amigo let's put our alliance to the test again. I would appreciate you being my partner in the tag team tournament.

PKA: Is that so?

He sticks his hand out to shake. PKA stares at him for a minute thinking about his options.

PKA: Look, I'm gonna be straight up with you, man. I didn’t put all this work in to return as a tag team wrestler.

El Muertos: We could be a difficult challenge to the rest of the locker room.

El Muertos keeps his hand out.

PKA: Last week did feel good. And I didn't really come here knowing what I'd be doing. I'm just excited to be back at it..

El Muertos: We could win that thing.

PKA contemplates, as the fans chant Shake His Hand!

PKA: El Muertos and the Ultraviolent Perfectionist?

The fans cheer.

PKA: What the hell..

PKA shrugs.

PKA: Let's do it.

PKA shakes Muertos’ hand to great applause by the crowd. Before they can celebrate however Darren Warrens and Lex Collins rush the ring striking the two luchas from behind knocking them to the canvas. To a chorus of boos from the fans the Architects stomp the hell out of PKA and Muertos. As PKA rolls under the bottom rope Warrens signals Collins to him help lift Muertos and set up his ‘The Mercy Killing’. Yet before he can hit his finisher PKA stands up and charges at the two of them, Warrens drops Muertos and the Architects bail out of the ring not wanting to get hurt before the big battle royal. PKA helps Muertos to his feet. The four men shout choice words at each other that can’t be heard over the chanting of the crowd. The Architects walk back up the ramp leaving PKA and El Muertos behind in the ring.

Junior Heavyweight Championship

"Breezy" Eli Beazley vs Cecilia Ortiz (c)

Jessica: The following bout is scheduled for ONE FALL ...

Crowd: ONE FALL!

Jessica: ... And is for the JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Clearwater: Here we are. The highly anticipated bout between Cecilia Lopez and Eli Beazley. Could we see a new champ here tonight?

Remi: Just another match on what is shaping up to be a stacked crowd. As for your question: I think we will.

“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen hits the loudspeakers. The fans pop as “Breezy” Eli Beazley hits the stage. He briefly dances to his music and then makes his way to the ring. Eli high fives several fans. He stops to take a selfie with a fan and even pauses for quick interaction with a young fan in the front row.

Jessica: Introducing the challenger ... From San Diego, California ... weighing in at two hundred and one pounds ... He is "BREEZY" ELI BEAZLEY!!!

Clearwater: Eli looks prepared and confident in himself going into tonight.

Remi: With his momentum, can you blame him? I'd be confident too if I was him.

Eli makes his way up to the ring apron and hits a few more dance moves. Finally, Eli hops over the top rope and spins around in the ring with his arms held out engulfing himself in the cheers from the audience. When we get to the chorus of the song, Eli hops up on the second rope and leads the crowd in a few ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’s.'

Show and Tell plays over the PA system, as Cecilia makes her way onto the stage. Holding her belt above her head for those in attendance. Smiling, she confidently begins to walk to the ring, stopping to pose occasionally

Jessica: And the champion ... From New York ... CECILIA ORTIZ!!!

Clearwater: The champion looking confident that she can retain here tonight.

Remi: As she should. Championship matches are as much a psychological war, as they are a physical war.

Cecilia makes her way to the ring, rolling between the ropes as she stares at her challenger. Holding her belt in the air, she smiles before handing the belt to the referee, who hands it to the timekeeper. The two then head to their assigned corners.

DING DING DING

Eli and Cecilia a lock-up in the center of the ring in a test of strength, well aware of what is on the line. What they stand to gain from a win in this championship match.

Remi: Here we go. Championship match underway, between a champ who wants to prove herself and a challenger who is hungry to showcase just what he can do in the ring.

Clearwater: I cannot wait for this bout. It has been hotly anticipated and both have had some stern words for each other

Using his weight to his advantage, Eli is able to attain control, whipping Ortiz to the ropes and connecting with a dropkick upon her return, sending her down to the mat.

Clearwater: The challenger with a crisp dropkick. He knows he has to get control early if he wants to win this bout.

Remi: Eli showing that he's more than just a personality. He can wrestle just as well as he can talk.

Kipping up, he runs his hands through his hair, flicking it downwards as Cecilia, in order to get the crowd engaged in the match.

Clearwater: I don't know if showboating here is wise. Especially when it's early in a high-stakes bout like this.

Remi: Let him have some fun. It's not every day you get a title shot.

Clearwater: True. However, he must be mindful that this doesn't come back to haunt him.

Then connecting with another dropkick to send the champion back down to the mat when she stands up. Following that up with a strong knee drop, causing Cecilia a to slightly jerk her body back.

Standing up, Eli taunts again, delivering a leg drop after doing so, then lifting Ortiz back up and attempting to Irish Whip her into the corner, only for it to be reversed and Breezy to be the one sent into the corner instead.

Clearwater: The champ thinking quick on her feet there.

Remi: She knows that she can ill-afford to allow this match to snowball.

She then walks to the corner and delivers a slap to the challengers face, to which Eli responds with a smile. Then a left hook to Cecilia's face that causes her to stagger backwards.

Eli attempts to follow up with a running clothesline, but the champ counters with an STO, causing both to land on the mat.

Clearwater: Another cat-like move by the champ, who appears to be one step ahead of Eli at this moment.

Remi: As long as she can remain on the offensive.

Cecilia manages to athletically kip herself up, prompting a small cheer from the crowd, before she hooks a rising Beazley and drops him to the mat with a DDT, then rolls him over and mounts for five punches to the face. Most of them are protected by Eli's forearms as he raises them to his head to block.

Standing up, Ortiz lays a boot into Eli's ribcage before stepping back and taking a bow. Much like Eli had engaged the crowd earlier on in the bout. In the time she had taken, Eli had worked his way back to his feet and then he charges at her. This time successful in knocking her off her feet with his running clothesline.

Clearwater: OOF! You could hear the impact of that from here.

Remi: You have to be alert at all times here in the APW. Eli just taught Cecilia that lesson again.

Kipping up just as Cecilia had earlier, Eli smiles as Ortiz rolls herself out of the ring, following her. Not wanting to let her either capitalize on the "champion's advantage" in this bout or otherwise take a breather. He instead grabs her arm and whips her violently into the steel steps, causing her to land on the mat, limp.

Remi: Are we sure Cecilia isn't dead after that? She looks like a wet paper bag right now.

Clearwater: I wouldn't go that far, but that was some violent impact against the unforgiving steel.

Hearing the referee's count of "2", Breezy lifts Cecilia upwards, rolling her into the ring, then rolling himself back into the ring, before lifting and dropping the champion with a bridging snap suplex.

Clearwater: Eli looking to end this.

KICK OUT

Clearwater: No! Too soon for this one to end.

Remi: One thing you know Cecilia has in spades is heart.

Eli slams his palms against the mat before standing up, only to be sent down to the mat with a sloppy-looking hurricanrana by Ortiz. Spiking his head onto the mat.

Clearwater: Hopefully Breezy doesn't have a concussion or something after that.

Remi: Cecilia trying to get out of her comfort zone there, realizing the circumstance. What is at stake.

Clearwater: It is commendable.

Standing up once more, the champ then connects with an elbow drop across her challenger's torso, causing him to slightly jolt upward before landing back on the mat. She then connects with a second elbow, before dragging him toward the turnbuckle. Resting him against it, helped by a slap across his face. Then a second when he is set up. Stepping back, she charges forward, looking for a corner crossbody. Eli catches her, however, dropping her onto his knee with a backbreaker.

Clearwater: This time, it doesn't pay off, as she lands hard on Eli's knee with that backbreaker.

Remi: Eli's just a step ahead. He has been most of this bout, every time Cecilia has built any momentum.

Then down to the mat for an elbow drop of his own. A knee drop follows before he lifts her up and Irish whips her into the ropes. Connecting with a belly-to-belly suplex when she returns. The force of which caused her to slide out of the ring once again.

Clearwater: Brutal belly-to-belly by the challenger.

Remi: The champ once again understanding the situation and high-tailing it out of the ring. She knows she cannot lose her belt by count-out. As does Eli.

Clearwater: Eli rolling out of the ring now. For the second time tonight, in pursuit of Cecilia.

Just like last time, Eli follows her outside. Though unlike last time, he simply rolls her carcass back into the ring before rolling in himself. Sliding into the ring, Eli takes his time to taunt the crowd again. Attempting to maintain their interest in the match, but also opening himself up to a roll-up by Ortiz.

Clearwater: She was playing possum.

Remi: Now it's her turn to outwit Breezy.

KICK OUT.

Eli pushes Cecilia off him, before rising to his feet and hooking her for a DDT. Drilling her head into the mat as she lands. Her eyes glazing over when she hits the canvas. Eli then rolls her over for a pin.

Clearwater: Still not over. Cecilia isn't going to let that title go without a fight.

Remi: Did you expect her to?

Clearwater: No.

Remi: Good. You're better than that.

Cecilia shakes off the cobwebs while Beazley catches his breath. Without warning, she goes for a headscissors takedown, but Beazley has it scouted! 

Clearwater: Counter by Eli Beazley! And a big Samoan drop! 

Remi: BRO! This has not been a very Breezy night for Ortiz!

Clearwater: It's not about to get any better, Remi! Beazley has that full Nelson locked in and she can't do a thing about it!

Remi: Here comes that BREEZY BOMB! And the cover!

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: The winner of this match -- and your NEW APW Junior Heavyweight Champion -- "BREEZY" ELI BEAZLEY!!!

The crowd pops big as "Don't Stop Me Now" hits the speakers, and Eli accepts his new title from the official. He goes to give Ortiz a sportsmanlike handshake, but she shrugs him off and leaves the ring. With a shrug, Beazley returns his attention to the audience, grinning as he climbs a turnbuckle and poses with the Junior Heavyweight Title held high in the air!

Smith Jones Segment

APW Interviewer Troy Butler is standing by the Gorilla position backstage, microphone in hand.

Troy Butler: Joining me now is your APW World Champion… there is only one… Smith Jones.

Jones enters dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. His robe hangs open so that we can see that he has the Alpha World Championship locked safely around his waist. He isn’t quite smiling, but he isn’t scowling either. His exact emotions remain vague while his excitement is evident.

Smith Jones: Welcome to The Architects’ portion of the show. While everyone else has been out there talking about taking over, we have been taking over. Just look at the top end of the PPV tonight.

Out of focus in the background, we see Lex Collins approach the curtain. His back is to camera.

Smitty: In just a few short moments, The original Architect Lex Collins is going to head out to that ring and take the APW North American Championship away from Lucy Sixx and lead that entire division into a much more promising future than it could ever have with Luce.

Damon Warrens steps up next to Lex, still out of focus behind Smith. Warrens whispers a few final words of advice into Lex' ear.

Smitty: Then, I am going to successfully defend the Alpha Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship against Spartan to set up for an epic World Title Affair between the winner of tonight’s Heavyweight Contendership Battle Royal Main Event and ME. Picture it, Troy. Smith Jones versus Damon Warrens in an All Architects Main Event for the Alpha World Championship at Battlecade! What better gift could we give our troops than that? The future of APW is in good hands. It’s a big night for The Architects. The rebuild continues. Architects Pro Wrestling is now LIVE. Go get ‘er, Lex.

North American Championship

Lex Collins vs Lucy Sixx (c)

Jessica Kaine: The following match is scheduled for one fall… with NO TIME LIMIT… it is for the Alpha Pro Wrestling NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP!! Coming to the ring first, weighing in at one hundred and ninety five pounds…fighting out of Sin City... he is one third of The Architects… he is The Sin City Saint… HE IS LEX COLLINS!!

The lights dim, and the sound of a heartbeat fills the silence, growing a little louder and faster before being replaced with a driving rock beat. "Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against kicks into gear over the arena sound system, getting an ear-splitting huge pop from the female fans in attendance. Orange and red spotlights fade up slowly, like the sun rising to reveal a fire in the sky, illuminating two silhouettes. Lex Collins stands with his head bowed and pauses before raising his arms, thrusting them directly into the path of the spotlights as the crowd erupts into cheers yet again. Midway down the ramp, Lex stops and shrugs out of his Brutal Apparel hoodie, awarding it to a lucky fan in the crowd. He pauses for a few selfies with fans before hopping up on the apron. Grinning at the crowd, he presses his right fist over his heart to a huge pop before turning and springing over the rope.

Jessica Kaine: His opponent… fighting out of Los Angeles, California… weighing in at one hundred and ten pounds… She is the current Alpha Pro Wrestling North American Champion.. She is Full Metal… SHE IS LUCY SIXX!!

The lights in the arena go out as "Love Bites" begins blaring throughout the arena. Lucy Sixx steps out from behind the curtain. She stops at the top of the ramp to head bang a bit before walking briskly to the ring. Lucy takes her title belt off and shows to the crowd before handing the belt off to head referee Spanky O’Shaughnessy who holds it above his head to indicate the upcoming match is for the title. He hands the belt to the timekeeper for protection and calls for the bell to be rung.

Clearwater: Champion’s advantage exists in this match. Lex Collins needs a pinfall or submission to claim the title. The title will not change hands on a disqualification or countout.

DING! DING! DING!

Lex Collins feints at the champion who flinches slightly, the movement brings a smile to the challenger’s face. They lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Collins uses his height and weight advantage to twist around and bring Lucy’s arm around her back in a hammerlock. He slips through into a side headlock. Lucy reaches down and grabs Collins’ ankle and trips him up. Collins lands on his face and quickly presses himself up and Sixx grabs him into a wrist lock and tries to bring him into her and connect with standing short-arm clothesline, Collins duck under the swinging arm and comes up behind Sixx and applies a waist lock. Sixx back elbows Lex and breaks the hold wrapping around and applying a waist lock of her own. She tries a gut wrench but Lex block the moves by intertwining his leg in between hers. He reaches back and takes her over his shoulder with a snap mare take over. Lucy Sixx rolls through the moves and sweeps Collins legs from underneath him. He lands flat on his back on the mat. Sixx pounces and as she goes to lateral press Collins. He cradles her up.

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!

Lucy Sixx rolls through with momentum and gets Collins shoulders on the mat.

ONE!

TWO!!

NO!!

Collins kicks his legs out and breaks up the hold. Both competitors get to their feet to the clapping and cheering of the crowd.

Remi: Bro! I’m out of breath. How do you keep up with such high paced action?

Clearwater: You don’t. You stick back and enjoy. Stuff like that can only be found in Alpha Pro Wrestling.

Collins offers his hand as a sign of respect, but Sixx slaps it away which draws a shrug from Collins goes in for another collar and elbow tie up, but the Sin City Saint just boots Lucy Sixx with authority in the abdomen. He wraps his hands around her waist and lifts her into the air dropping her across his knee with a gutwrench backbreaker. Collins lets Sixx fall to the mat with disdain, before wrapping his fingers in her two toned hair and hauling her to her feet.

Remi: Collins looks positively deliberate in his movement right now.

Clearwater: A member of the Architects wouldn’t go into a match without a plan.

He rips her into his body and then slingshots her over his hip with a headlock takeover. Collins sits down on the back of Lucy Sixx’ neck and applies pressure on her vertebrae. Collins leans his body weight on the back of her neck, but she reaches up and grabs his head and starts push up with her legs. Sixx is balancing herself against the weight of Collins as she gets to her feet, but Collins is not letting go. Sixx has her head under the point of Collins jaw and just DROPS her weight to the canvas hitting Lex with a BRUTAL jawbreaker. Collins reels back to the corner holding his jaw, while Sixx gets herself up clutching at her neck.

Clearwater: Both Sixx and Collins want this title!

Remi: Bro, being a champion is the pinnacle, bro!

Sixx comes into the corner after Collins and spins him around and SLAPS him across the face. She quickly grabs him around the head and neck and monkey flips him out of the corner and scurries to the top turnbuckle. He turns around and she jumps off taking Collins to the mat with a leaping headscissors takedown. She bounces to her feet and wraps her arms around his waist and lifts Collins to his feet and takes him over with a german suplex. She bridges the move into a pinning combination

ONE!

TWO!!

NO--SHOULDER UP!!

Collins rolls his shoulder up and out of the pinning predicament he takes a moment to gather himself as Sixx turns to come after him, she makes the mistake of coming across his feet, and he takes her to the mat with a drop toe hold. Only she was close to the ropes and she gets her throat caught and bounces back off the top rope. Sixx is on the mat clutching at her throat and neck and Collins grabs her ankle of her left leg lifting it into the air and then stomping on on the knee. Sixx reels away grabbing at her knee. Collins stalks after her and he stomps on her knee again. She gets to the corner and the referee on duty pulls Collins away. Collins turns his back and walks away only for Lucy Sixx to charge out of the corner and take him down from behind with a chop block. Sixx jumps up and quickly takes Collins into the mat with a bulldog as he is getting to his feet.

Remi: The beautiful Lucy Sixx showing why she is the North American Champion, bro.

Clearwater: It was a cheap shot from behind Remi.

Remi: Champions do what champions do, bro.

Sixx scampers up the nearest corner post and waits for Collins to stand. MISSILE DROPKICK!! Collins crashes and Sixx is in control. Sixx gets to Collins and pulls him up. As Collins is coming to his feet he puts his hand between the legs of Lucy Sixx and takes her DOWN with a scoop powerslam.

Remi: Collins with cover!

ONE!

Clearwater: With a move like that this match could be over!

TWO!!

Remi: Not like this, Daddy!

NO-KICKOUT!!

Remi: Yes!

Lucy Sixx kicks out of pinfall attempt. Collins is frustrated it is etched over his face. He gets up and he waits for Lucy to get up. He wraps the arm around the armpit and throat - URANAGE! Sixx is up! NO! She counters, Sixx counters her bodyweight and holds onto the arm and rolls his shoulders landing on top of Collins. Sixx hooks the legs

Remi: YES! DADDY!

ONE!

Clearwater: It looks like the champion with retain here!!

TWO!

Remi! GO! DADDY GO!

Clearwater: Collins kicks out!!!!

Sixx rolls off and gets to her feet. Sixx grabs Collins and locks him up for a suplex attempt BUT NO!!!

Clearwater: Collins grabbed the arm and takes Sixx down.

Collins looks in his patented fujiwara armbar.

Remi: No DADDY!

Clearwater: COLLINS CALLS THAT THE WRECKAGE!!

Remi: DON’T TAP DADDY!

Clearwater: Sixx with a foot on the rope.

The referee motions for Collins to break the hold. Which he does but not before a quick elbow to the back of Full Metal’s head. Lucy pulls herself to a seated position in the corner while Collins composes himself in a neutral corner. Collins paces as he watches Sixx pull herself to her feet. HE CHARGES!

Remi: OH! MY! GOD!

Collins his HUGE CHARGING KNEE RIGHT TO POINT OF LUCY SIXX’ CHIN!!

Clearwater: WOW!

Collins takes her to the mat with a running bulldog!

Clearwater: Collins calls that Systematic Breakdown 2.0

Remi: NO! DADDY! NO!!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Clearwater: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Remi: YES!!!

Clearwater: Sixx got her foot on the bottom rope before the three count!!

Collins slaps the mat in pure frustration. He drags Lucy to her feet. He whips her into the far ropes.

Clearwater: BRICKS!! BRICKS!! BRICKS!!

Remi: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Clearwater: Collins covers!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Jessica Kaine: Your winner… and NEW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION… SIN CITY SAINT… Lex Collins!!

Collins is handed the belt, but he can barely stand to raise his hand. He is taking deep gasping breaths, while doubled over with barely anything left in the tank. He was pushed that close to the limit by Lucy Sixx.

Spartan Segment

The Alpha Pro Wrestling banner stands proudly. The embossed silver lettering dominating the black background, the stylized “A” prominent. In front of the banner stands, Troy Butler in the finest suit he can afford. Next to him, Spartan - he is in his ring gear. His gingerbeard dominates his face, his physically imposing frames dwarfs Butler next to him.

Butler: Spartan - so would say you got lucky with the World Championship match tonight. If Smith Jones hadn’t wanted to prove himself a fighting champion then there is every chance you wouldn’t be standing here tonight. How does that make you feel?

Spartan: You’re right, Troy. If Smith Jones hadn’t started stomping his feet and making demands. I wouldn’t have this opportunity.

Butler: Why did you answer back when he started making demands?

Spartan: Truth is, Butler. Smith Jones is a man who preaches respect for the business. He preaches love for wrestling, but then he starts making demands and not respecting the process. He’s been around long enough to know there is a process to things. Sure, he makes his - I want to be a fighting champion claims. And he claims he was disrespected because he wasn’t given a match. But, Jones could have taken up Jason Ryan’s callouts any time he wanted. Yet, he didn’t. Why? Only he can answer that. So when he started throwing his toys out of the cot. I had to tell him how things really were. Regardless of who my employer is.

Butler: Are you saying you would have challenged Smith Jones even you were Irina Ivanova’s employee?

Spartan: Damn straight, Troy. I call things how I see them. I stand up for what I believe in, and I fight for what I feel is right.

Butler: Then why are a lackey for the man so to speak?

Spartan stares down at Butler

Spartan: Because I believe in my family. I believe they belong with me, not halfway around the world with someone that isn't me. That’s why. Just Smith Jones believes in certain values and so do I - the ends always justify means.

Butler: Any last words for Smith Jones?

Spartan: Smith, later tonight - I will take that title from your grasp or… I will be carried out on my back. Come Hell or Highwater, Jones you will know you’ve been in a war. I don’t care how we got to the point. But tonight, in that ring - I’m right there. Wipe your feet.

Spartan walks off.

Spartan vs Smith Jones ©

Remi: Are you stoked right now, Mikey-bro?

Clearwater: I can say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I am nearly as excited as these fans.

Remi: Yeah, but are you fuckin’ STOKED, dude? Are you PUMPED? This is as good as it gets! Irina’s personal enforcer, the Commissar of Violence, Spartan his own damn self -- going up against THE one and only Smith motherfuckin’ Jones!

Clearwater: And all because Lucy Sixx, after weeks of demanding a World Title shot, backed out at the last minute! Jones was none too thrilled about being left off the card and promptly took it up behind the scenes with APW’s General Manager, Irina Ivanova! This… was her solution.

Remi: The Enforcer versus the CHAMP! World Title on the line! Can you even imagine what’s about to happen here tonight? The very FUTURE of APW hangs in the balance!

Clearwater: So it does, Remi. As long as Smith Jones retains that belt, it’s his hand guiding the ship! But if Spartan were to win the belt here tonight, things could become very different, very quickly! This match sets a precedent and we’re about to witness it firsthand!

The arena blacks out and the opening guitar riffs of “Destroyer” by Parkway Drive begins to echo over the ambient noise of the excited crowd, as the drum beats kick into effect the the lights flash with each beat. Jessica Kaine: Coming first to the ring, from Los Angeles, California; standing at a height of six-feet, five inches and weighing in at two-hundred sixty-five pounds…. The challenger -- SPARTAN!!!
Spartan walks out onto the ramp. He is dressed in casual attire, black shorts, black singlet, backwards cap, black kicks. He stands on the stage and embraces the noise of the crowd before he starts making his way down the ramp to the ring.

Spartan reaches the ring and jumps onto the apron in a single vault.

Spartan springboards himself over the top rope and into the middle of the ring.

"Architects" by Rise Against rocks the speakers as all of the lights in the arena blast to full white. The lights start to slowly fade to darkness as every spotlight in the joint floods the entranceway with bright white light. Smith Jones comes out onto the stage dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. His robe hangs open to show the APW World Championship locked safely around Smith's waist. Jones stops at the top of the ramp and looks out across the crowd as many of them chant "Ar-chi-tects! Ar-chi-tects! Ar-chi-tects!"

Ring Announcer Jessica Kaine: Coming down the aisle... representing The Architects... from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at two hundred twenty-nine pounds... he is the Alpha Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion... there is only one... SMITH JONES!!!

Smith strides confidently down to ringside. He mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the ring apron before parting the ropes and taking centre. He removes the belt and holds it aloft with his right hand to a potent mix of cheers and jeers. He grins. Jones entrusts the title to ringside and shrugs off his robe before stretching up for the match. Smith sports that signature stone scowl that says everything is not going to be okay for his opponent.

Remi: Listen to these fans! They are ready for this fight -- and so are the competitors!

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: Off to a cautious start with Jones and Spartan sizing each other up. Jones goes on the attack, backing Spartan against the turnbuckles! Spartan with his hands up, not fighting back as the referee warns them out of the corner… I’m not sure what his strategy -- WHOA!

Remi: DUDE! Spartan just almost knocked Smith’s head off with that big haymaker! Jones stumbles up and Spartan is right there with a knee to the midsection! Maybe Jones shouldn’t have said all that stuff about the big man’s family!

Spartan stays on Jones, following up with another knee and underhooking the arms of the champ! But Jones manages to work his arms free! Spartan keeps control, though and maneuvers Jones around into a German suplex!

Clearwater: Suplex attempt, denied! Jones drops down behind Spartan and wraps him up in a waistlock -- for a suplex of his own! The strength of Smith Jones is unbelievable!

Remi: Jones with an early cover -- but only a one-count as Spartan powers up! But the champ isn’t through yet!

Smith Jones takes the fight to Spartan, driving forearm after forearm into the bigger man’s chest, wearing him down. Jones gets Spartan up onto his shoulders, lifts -- and drops him down, right over Jones’ bent knee!

Clearwater: HUGE gutbuster from Smith Jones! Spartan has nearly forty pounds on Jones -- how does he do that?

Remi: That’s why he’s the champ, Mikey-bro! Another cover!

Two!!

Clearwater: And a kickout by Spartan! Early to expect a pinfall, but every time Spartan has to kick out, it saps that energy just a little more!

Irritated now, Spartan leaps back to his feet and charges at Smith Jones with a running shoulder block that sends Jones to the canvas! Spartan grabs Jones by the head, hauls him up, and sets him up for an inverted DDT!

Remi: BIG DDT from Spartan! And now it’s his turn to cover!

One!

Two!!

THR-- NO!

Clearwater: Smith Jones kicks out with authority! Up again and right back to the offense with a side Russian legsweep! Now an overhand wristlock -- transitions into a bridge, and Spartan could be in real trouble here!

Remi: That’s right, Mikey-bro! Jones may be best known for his arsenal of suplexes, but he’s also a master of submissions and he’s got this locked down tight!

Spartan howls in pain with the pressure on his wrist and elbow, trying unsuccessfully to dislodge Smith’s hold. He looks around and spots the ropes, not too far away. With an unbelievable display of sheer force of will, Spartan drags himself, inch-by-inch, across the canvas. In spite of Jones’ leverage, Spartan manages to get there, eventually, and reaches out to grasp the bottom rope firmly. Even so, Jones refuses to release the hold until senior referee Eddie Silk orders him to let go!

Clearwater: Close call there for Spartan. He reached the ropes but looked like he was almost ready to tap!

Remi: That wristlock is no joke, dude! Much longer in that hold, and Jones could have done real damage to the tendons in Spartan’s arm!

Spartan uses the ropes to haul himself upright, shaking out the afflicted arm. Without warning, he charges in at Jones for a bulldog -- but Smith evades! Spartan’s momentum carries him all the way across the ring, and through the ropes, spilling him to the outside! Spartan back up immediately and climbing back in -- only to be met with a baseball slide from the champ!

Clearwater: Both competitors now on the outside of the ring! Jones grabs Spartan’s arm and promptly whips him into the ring apron!

With Spartan trapped against the edge of the ring, Jones delivers a powerful chop!

Spartan shakes it off and answers back with one of his own!

Jones with another chop!

Crowd: WHOOO!

Spartan retaliates!

Crowd: BOOOO!

Jones chops Spartan again!

Crowd: WHOOO!

Spartan answers back!

Crowd: BOOOO!

Remi: CHOP!

Crowd: WHOOO!

Clearwater: CHOP from Spartan!

Crowd: BOOOO!

Remi: One more from Jones!

Crowd: WHOOO!

Clearwater: Another chop from Spartan -- JONES DUCKS! Knee to the midsection of Spartan!

Remi: And official Eddie Silk has had about enough of these shenanigans! He’s warning both men to get back in the ring!

Clearwater: The Champ on the apron now! What could he be thinking?

Remi: Missile dropkick! BRO! WAIT!

The warning comes a split second too late as Spartan hastily moves out of the way.

Clearwater: Jones landed hard on that one, and his knees may have taken most of that impact!

Remi: Eddie Silk starting the count now, but Spartan is ignoring him and pulling up the ringside mats!

Clearwater: Spartan keeping Jones off-balance with a big boot!

Three…

Four…

Remi: Jones rallying back -- only to take a stiff forearm to the face!

Five…

Clearwater: Spartan maneuvering Jones into a setup for another DDT! Right on that exposed concrete!

Six…

Remi: NO! Jones fights out and -- here’s that spinning elbow out of nowhere! That was UNEXPECTED!

Seven…

Smith follows up with a series of rapid-fire forearms before shoving a dazed Spartan back in under the ropes. Jones climbs up behind him, vaulting over the ropes and into the ring. Spartan staggers toward the champ -- and gets caught with a headlock takedown! Jones immediately capitalizes with a crossface chickenwing/body scissors combo!

Clearwater: Spartan is trapped in the System!

Remi: NOT FOR LONG, BRO! Spartan is powering his way out!

Spartan gets free and bucks Jones off of him! He leaps to his feet and shakes the ropes with a roar of defiance! Jones back to his feet, and he takes a run at Spartan! Spartan just barely avoids it, hits the ropes, and springboards off into a slingshot blockbuster!

Clearwater: SHOWTIME! Jones is down and Spartan wastes no time with the cover!

Remi: NEW CHAMP -- !

THR-- NO!

Clearwater: NOT YET! Smith Jones kicks out just in time!

Spartan reaches down to pull a wearied Jones to his feet! Spartan with an Irish whip that sends the champ into the ropes!

Remi: The Enforcer with that Irish whip, setting Jones up for a devastating lariat on the rebound -- BUT JONES DUCKS! He wraps an arm around Spartan’s neck -- backstabber!

Clearwater: POINT OF CONTROVERSY! Smith Jones with an O’Connor roll!

Jessica Kaine: The winner of this match -- and STILL YOUR APW World Heavyweight Champion -- SMITH JONES!!!!

Remi: DUDE! We were THIS CLOSE to a new champion, BRO!

Clearwater: Spartan gave it everything he had, and reminded the world why he has held both the Hardcore and North American titles here in Alpha Pro!

Remi: He made Jones WORK to keep that gold, bro!

Clearwater: That, he did, Remi. Jones may have come out on top this time, but who’s to say how a rematch between these two top contenders might come out? Next up -- our Main Event! A fourteen-man battle royal to determine who will face Smith Jones in one month at Battlecade!

All fourteen competitors are in the ring, eyeing each other up as they await the official start of the match.

Jessica Kaine: The following Main Event contest is a Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the Alpha Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship! A wrestler is eliminated when he goes over the ropes and both feet touch the ground! The winner will be the last man standing!

DING DING DING!

Remi: BRO! Here we go!

Clearwater: Alex Scott and Jaice Wilds square off, trading rights like crazy! Cray Mitchell and Aaron Osmosis charge at each other and Cray eats a running knee! Newcomer Eilich Fjell wraps up Arrow Zane and plants him with a suplex! Fjell turns around -- right into a huge clothesline from John Blade!

Remi: DUDE! This is nuts! Osmosis interjects himself into the battle between Jaice Wilds and Alex Scott and now it’s a three-way dance! These dudes are just throwing down!

Clearwater: El Muertos and Damon Warrens square off -- they’ve been waiting all night for this! And Muertos gets dropped with an armdrag! Gunner takes advantage of a dazed Cray Mitchell! But Mitchell is ready for him and puts Gunner down with a big back body drop! Mitchell turns and finds Old Man rushing at him! Mitchell stops him with a back elbow!

Remi: That’s elder abuse, bro!

Clearwater: Osmosis gets the better of Wilds with a legsweep, and Scott immediately takes advantage with a few quick boots to the ribs of Jaice Wilds! Damon Warrens has El Muertos at a disadvantage -- but here comes Patrick Kay Anthony! PKA with a springboard cutter and Warrens is down!

Remi: Wilds is up again! He clashes with Osmosis in the middle of all the chaos -- Jaice giving himself a big advantage with a pele kick! Eilich Fjell free of Blade somehow and now he’s facing down Marko Rask, who is sitting on a turnbuckle counting a stack of bills! What the hell, bro?

Rask glances up and sees Fjell heading his way. With a smirk on his face, he flings the cash high up into the air! Fifties and hundreds come raining down, distracting Fjell as he tries to snatch as many as he can out of the air. Marko immediately launches himself off the ‘buckle and plows right into Fjell!

Clearwater: Well, there wasn’t much art to that, but you can’t say it wasn’t effective! And here comes John Blade to pick up where he left off! He hauls Fjell up, looking to put him over the ropes!

Remi: But he gets clipped from behind by El Muertos! Now Alex Scott is joining in! Scott with a big forearm to El Muertos, giving Fjell some breathing space!

Clearwater: Wilds and Osmosis are at it again! These two have really got it out for each other here tonight! Fjell back up, and he’s after Damon Warrens! Fjell with a suplex attempt -- Warrens counters! The Nitemare King delivering that BADD DREAM DDT! Fjell might be knocked out!

Remi: Warrens better look out! PKA is on the attack again, looking for some more payback after what happened earlier tonight! Anthony picks up Warrens from behind -- Gorilla press slam!

Clearwater: Andre Aquarius perched on the top ropes! What is he possibly thinking?!

Aquarius stands there a moment longer, his gaze sweeping over the audience like a king surveying his subjects. He lifts his arms to his sides in a Christlike pose -- and dives into the air!

Remi: BRO! Aquarius just crashed into EVERYBODY! Half the competitors are down!

Clearwater: And half are still up! Gunner and Fjell seem to have forged a temporary alliance! Gunner whips Old Man to the ropes, and Fjell catches him on the rebound with a big boot! John Blade rushes in at the two of them, and gets a double superkick for his efforts! They pull PKA away from Warrens! Fjell delivers a back elbow, and Gunner drops him with a backbreaker! Gunner grabs Marko Rask and holds him for Fjell! Fjell takes a swing -- RASK DUCKS!

Remi: DUDE! Gunner got a face full of Finnish fist and he ain’t happy! Gunner and Fjell squaring up now! Arrow Zane gets slammed by John Blade! Blade turns on Fjell and Gunner -- and drops them both with a massive double clothesline! They never saw it coming!

Clearwater: Here comes Damon Warrens! He stops Blade with a shoulder check! Big forearm to Fjell! He lifts Gunner up high -- and just flings him down to the canvas! Warrens pulling Gunner up again and whips him into the ropes! V-Trigger! Gunner spills over the top rope! And he is DONE!

Remi: We have our first elimination, bro!

Clearwater: Alex Scott has John Blade trapped in the corner! Scott on the turnbuckle, raining down punches! But Blade has had enough and grabs Scott around the waist! POWERBOMB!

Remi: On the other side of the ring, Old Man has Arrow Zane in a sleeperhold!

Clearwater: Alex Scott in big trouble here as John Blade looks to put him over the top! But Jaice Wilds out of nowhere with a springboard dropkick that sends Blade sprawling! Wilds hauls Scott to his feet and now Wilds is trying to toss Alex Scott out!

Remi: HERE COMES PRINCE LIGHTSKIN! Andre Aquarius with a forearm to the back of Jaice Wilds’ skull! Scott goes over the ropes, but just manages to hold on! His feet find the ring apron instead of the ringside mats! Alex Scott is still in this thing!

Clearwater: Arrow Zane breaks free from Old Man! Zane with an elbow to Old Man, and turns around to see PKA right in his path! Zane charges -- but PKA catches him with a leg lariat! PKA follows up with a hurricanrana that gets Zane hung up in the ropes! PKA lifts him up -- and dumps him out of the ring! Arrow Zane is gone!

Remi: Old Man looking for a new target -- and settles on Damon Warrens! Old Man with a suplex attempt… REVERSAL! Damon Warrens with a release German suplex! Warrens picks Old Man back up -- and drops him across his knee with a backbreaker! BUT HERE COMES EL MUERTOS!

Clearwater: El Muertos off the top rope with a rolling cutter to Damon Warrens! Muertos with mounted punches -- until Cray Mitchell pulls him off! An infuriated El Muertos now slugging it out with Mitchell!

Remi: Warrens back up and squaring off now with Aaron Osmosis! Osmosis gets an early advantage with a face rake and lifts Warrens up for a fisherman suplex! Warrens fights out of it! Warrens looking for a suplex of his own, but now Osmosis counters! These two men seem to be evenly matched!

Clearwater: Meanwhile, PKA has joined his partner, El Muertos, and now they’re two-on-one with Cray Mitchell! Muertos and PKA each grab a wrist and send Cray crashing into Damon Warrens! Warrens and Osmosis trade glances, a quick nod, and the two of them pick up Mitchell, then drop him down with a double piledriver! They charge at Muertos and PKA!

Remi: WATCH OUT OLD MAN!

Andre Aquarius is back in the action, stalking Old Man. Old Man senses the danger a moment too late, and turns around -- right into a clothesline! Aquarius fires off a series of quick jabs, backing Old Man up against the ropes! He backs up, then comes rushing in with his trademark Pele kick!

Clearwater: #PEPEKICK from Aquarius and Old Man is eliminated!

Remi: But here comes the Nitemare King! He’s looking to put Aquarius out!

Clearwater: SICKWAVES fighting back! Warrens looking for a DDT but Aquarius answers with a poke to the eye and escapes!

Remi: PKA and El Muertos are laid out! Aaron Osmosis is down, too!

Clearwater: And Cray Mitchell just planted Eilich Fjell with a side slam! Osmosis getting back to his feet now! Shaking off the cobwebs, he spots Mitchell laying boots to Fjell! Osmosis charges in and goes for Cray, lifting him up for a suplex -- but Mitchell slips out and drops down behind! Mitchell with a waistlock of his own… until he gets a face full of Aaron’s elbow!

Remi: Osmosis picking on easy prey now! He lifts the dazed Fjell up -- ATOMIC DROP! Osmosis pulls Fjell up again, and just tosses him over the top!

Clearwater: Eilich Fjell is eliminated! Still ten competitors left!

Remi: PKA back to a vertical base! He rushes at Aquarius and Warrens and delivers a big running knee to Andre Aquarius! He turns his attention to Damon Warrens!

Clearwater: And John Blade has Trillion Dollah Marko in his sights!

Remi: Patrick Kay Anthony with a hurricanrana to Warrens! Warrens is down!

Clearwater: Blade lifting up Marko Rask -- he’s ready to dump him over! NO! Marko’s entire security team is right there to catch him! They throw Rask back in!

Remi: Jaice Wilds walks right into the path of Andre Aquarius! Aquarius had some unkind words for Wilds, and it looks like Wilds is ready to answer those words! Cray Mitchell and Aaron Osmosis trading blows again! Blade still trying to eliminate Marko Rask!

Clearwater: Damon Warrens back to his feet, and takes PKA down with a running bulldog! El Muertos is right there to meet him with a kick to the knee that brings Warrens down! Shining Wizard from El Muertos!

Remi: Marko Rask leaning against the ropes now, daring John Blade to come for him again! Blade takes the bait! He runs in -- and Rask grabs the top rope as he drops down! Blade goes over and he’s done!

Clearwater: John Blade is eliminated! By a seventeen year old YouTube star!

Remi: Jaice Wilds still fighting Andre Aquarius, and PKA gets in the middle of them!

Clearwater: BIG MISTAKE! Aquarius answers with a kick to the gut that doubles PKA over! He leaps high and jumps down, driving PKA down to the canvas with his knee!

Remi: THAT #DANKINFUSION BRO!

Clearwater: El Muertos looking to help his partner, but gets caught by Marko Rask instead! Rask with a clothesline attempt, but Muertos catches it and turns it into an armdrag! He tries to follow up, but is blindsided by Damon Warrens! Cray Mitchell moves in and capitalizes, pulling Marko up and dropping him with a Thesz Press! Cray then picks up Rask and dumps him over the ropes before the bodyguards notice what’s going on!

Remi: NOT MY BOI! NOT TRILLION DOLLAH MARKO!

Clearwater: Marko Rask has been eliminated!

Remi: Cray celebrating, posing for the fans! But you can’t take your eye off the ball for a moment in this kind of match, bro! PKA right there when Mitchell turns around! Superkick!

Clearwater: Cray Mitchell almost went out! PKA is about to finish the job --

Remi: BRO! Damon Warrens just nailed PKA with a big forearm! Cray Mitchell fights on!

Clearwater: And nobody better to bring the fight to him than Alex Scott! Cray Mitchell with an elbow! But Scott blocks it! Scott grabs Mitchell and brings him close for a headbutt! He capitalizes with a gutwrench powerbomb! Mitchell is looking a lot worse for the wear here!

Remi: Over the top goes the Guru! Cray Mitchell is done!

Clearwater: Alex Scott is immediately set upon by Jaice Wilds! Wilds with a big roundhouse kick! Scott rallies back with a knee lift! Wilds answers with a springboard hurricanrana!

Remi: And meanwhile, Damon Warrens is now on the defensive! PKA drops him with a bulldog and El Muertos brings the pain with a moonsault!

Clearwater: And Andre Aquarius finds himself face to face with Aaron Osmosis!

Remi: Jaice Wilds and Alex Scott are now up on the top turnbuckle, fighting it out! Scott tries for a superplex, but Wilds hooks the rope with his foot! Wilds with a forearm to Scott, but Scott blocks!

Clearwater: The harder they fight up there, the more precarious the situation! Alex Scott looking for another superplex -- but Jaice Wilds blocks again! Wilds with a shoulder to Scott’s midsection! Scott loses his balance! He’s going to fall!

Remi: This could get ugly, bro!

Clearwater: Jaice Wilds pulls him back in the nick of time!

Remi: Almost, bro! Scott doesn’t go out, but he lands with the rope between his legs! Every man in this arena just felt that!

Jaice Wilds winces in sympathy. Scott sits on the top rope for a minute, pain etched across his features. But then, Wilds seems to realize he’s in the perfect position for an elimination, and shoves Alex Scott off the top rope, sending him crashing to the ringside mats!

Clearwater: Alex Scott is gone!

Wilds seems stunned at what he has done, but recovers quickly and wades back into the fray. El Muertos is there to meet him! Muertos with an arm drag that sends Wilds to the mat! Jaice pops back up and answers with a pele kick! Meanwhile, Patrick Kay Anthony and Aaron Osmosis find themselves temporarily aligned against the impromptu pairing of Damon Warrens and Andre Aquarius.

Remi: PKA and Osmosis working a divide and conquer strategy here, my dudes! They single out Aquarius and separate him from Damon Warrens! A knee from Osmosis, followed by an elbow from PKA! But Warrens isn’t having it! He grabs PKA and plants him with a full nelson slam!

Clearwater: El Muertos has Jaice Wilds up! Fallaway slam! Muertos pulls Wilds up again and charges toward the ropes with him! Muertos stops short and uses Wilds’ momentum to send him tumbling over!

Remi: BUT WILDS HOLDS ON! He catches himself on the top rope and switches direction in midair!

Clearwater: El Muertos with a superkick! Follow up with a running clothesline!

Remi: NOW Wilds goes over!

Clearwater: He gave it his best, but Jaice Wilds has been eliminated! El Muertos now going back to join his partner, PKA!

Remi: But Osmosis is there to intercept him! PKA, Warrens, and Aquarius fighting it out, while El Muertos and Aaron Osmosis go at it!

Clearwater: El Muertos with a hip toss! Looking to capitalize -- but Osmosis pops up and nails him with a suplex!

Remi: PKA sees his partner in trouble! He runs to assist -- and eats a forearm from Osmosis! The Social Nightmare follows up with a neckbreaker! This is crazy, bro!

Clearwater: El Muertos back on his feet! Muertos looking for a full Nelson slam -- DENIED! Osmosis struggles out of it and puts Muertos down with a dropkick! Pulling El Muertos back up!

Remi: El Muertos looking dazed and confused! Osmosis to the ropes! Rebound! Hurricanrana! El Muertos leaning heavy on those ropes, dude, and I don’t know how much gas he’s got left in the tank!

Clearwater: He’s spent half the match battling it out with Damon Warrens in retaliation for the incident earlier tonight!

Remi: Osmosis has Muertos up -- AND PITCHES HIM TO THE OUTSIDE!

Clearwater: El Muertos is gone! PKA can’t believe it! He makes a grab for Osmosis, looking to take him out, too! Osmosis counters with a big suplex!

Osmosis is about to follow up and send PKA to join El Muertos, when Andre Aquarius comes barreling in out of nowhere! His momentum sends Osmosis crashing into the turnbuckles! He backs off and runs in with a big knee -- but Osmosis sees it coming and moves!

Remi: DUDE! Aquarius had him dead to rights but Osmosis managed to just barely avoid that knee!

Clearwater: He may have escaped Aquarius, but he’s still got Patrick Kay Anthony to deal with! Osmosis walks right into a stiff forearm!

Remi: MISTER KUNTA coming back for more! He bashes PKA with an elbow! He goes for Osmosis and sets him up for a Michinoku driver! #BENCARSONSPECIAL! Osmosis is out of it!

Clearwater: Andre Aquarius lifts Aaron Osmosis and almost gently drops him over the ropes! Osmosis is eliminated! That leaves Andre Aquarius, PKA, and Damon Warrens as the final three men in this match!

Remi: Aquarius has his next target lined up! PKA brings the fight to him, but Aquarius counters with a good, old-fashioned arm drag! PKA getting back up now, and Aquarius loads that uppercut -- but Damon Warrens gets involved! He shoves PKA out of the way!

Remi: NOT YET, BRO! PKA just SPEARS Warrens down! PKA with the mounted punches while Aquarius just gets the hell outta the way!

Clearwater: Warrens with a hard elbow to PKA that stops the hail of punches! He shoves PKA roughly off him and gets back to his feet! PKA is not done! He’s after Warrens right away with an enzuigiri! Now it’s PKA picking up Damon Warrens! He’s looking to put him out of this match!

Remi: But Warrens fights back! He forces PKA to drop him! PKA answers with a huge forearm! And here comes Aquarius again!

Clearwater: He looks charged up! Aquarius between PKA and Warrens! He swings a big haymaker at Warrens! Then a back elbow at PKA! Back to Warrens again, with a forearm this time! Another elbow for PKA! Now Warrens! PKA! Warrens again!

Remi: NO! Warrens ducks! PKA takes advantage of that precise moment to wrap Aquarius up in a full nelson! He lifts Aquarius, but Andre gets his feet on the top rope and pushes back!

Clearwater: PKA puts Aquarius down, then wraps an arm around his neck! Reverse falling DDT! Anthony has Aquarius up again -- and drops him out of the ring!

Remi: How ya gonna do ya boi like that? Have some respect for that YUNG GAWD!

Clearwater: Andre Aquarius has been eliminated! It’s down to these two men now!

Remi: PKA turns all his focus on Damon Warrens now! PKA with a shining wizard! Warrens stumbles but he doesn’t go down! THIS MAN IS A MACHINE!

Clearwater: Frustrated, PKA comes in again with a headscissors attempt -- but Warrens sees it coming and just unceremoniously shoves PKA down! He’s not playing around anymore! Warrens with a suplex to PKA!

Remi: That looked like it hurt! Warrens doesn’t release, he’s going for a second one -- but PKA fights his way free! Warrens responds with a Pele kick! Warrens hauling PKA to the ropes, and honestly at this point, it’s a mercy! No way he can take any more punishment!

Clearwater: Or maybe he can! PKA plants his feet! He’s fighting back! PKA with a series of quick elbows! Legsweep! Looking to apply a Japanese armbar now!

Remi: Warrens is too smart for that! He gets free before PKA can get a good grip and comes back to his feet! PKA stays right with him! He sets Warrens up -- a reverse falling DDT!

Clearwater: Warrens is down, but so is PKA! Neither man is moving right now!

Faintly, but getting louder, the fans can be heard clapping in rhythm, chanting: THIS IS AWESOME!

Slowly, Damon Warrens climbs to his knees, as Patrick Kay Anthony begins to stir.

Remi: This is it! So close! We’re about to have a new Number One Contender!

PKA uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet as Warrens stands on his own.

Clearwater: It’s anybody’s moment now!

Remi: Here comes PKA with a spinning wheel kick!

Clearwater: But Warrens drops flat backward to avoid it! He pops back up, goes to the ropes -- springboard stunner! He just gave PKA a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE!

Remi: He’s got PKA up! PKA is out! He doesn’t realize the danger!

Clearwater: Warrens looks like he’s about to… yes…

Remi: OVER THE ROPES! He just dropped PKA like a ragdoll and he is DONE!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: The winner of this match -- and your NEW Number One Contender for the APW World Championship -- DAMON WARRENS!!!

The crowd pops huge as Marilyn Manson’s “The Nobodies” fills the arena! Exhausted, but filled with the thrill of victory, Warrens leans against the turnbuckle, playing up to the fans as he is joined in the ring by his lover, Jaime Cortez.
