Clearwater: It’s Monday night and APW is back -- with a newly-crowned World Champion!

Remi: Was there ever any doubt? Frank Venable gave it everything he had, but Smith Jones is our own, one-hundred percent homegrown; APW’s finest competitor, and he proved that last week in Death Valley!

Clearwater: Smith Jones is building quite a reputation for himself here in APW, alongside his comrades in the Architects, who also came out on top in that tornado tag match!

Remi: Two other competitors went home with gold last week! Lucy Sixx drew first blood to become the new North American Champ, and Cecilia Ortiz bested Alex Scott in a ladder match for the Junior Heavyweight strap! Two of the hottest babes in the business, draped in APW gold, my dude! It doesn’t get any better than this!

Clearwater: So many things happened at 2020 Ways To Die, I’m still processing it all. Not only did we crown three new champions, we saw the rise of new talents like Salvatore Marino; Odin Balfore and Alex Richards both made strong statements regarding the upcoming tag tournament; and Spartan got involved in the opening match, attacking both participants -- apparently on Irina Ivanova’s orders!

Remi: I have questions, and that dude better have answers, bro!

Clearwater: Let’s hope he does. Plus, who attacked Jason Ryan, and why?

Remi: I think that Russian flag made it pretty clear, it had to be someone close to the boss!

Clearwater: I’d have to agree with you there, Remi, but who? Spartan again? He wasn’t afraid to show himself the first time.

Remi: Maybe it’s someone else, bro! Someone trying to keep their connection on the DL, you know? They might even attack again tonight!

Clearwater: Let’s hope not! We’ve got quite a show lined up, and I’d hate to see anything ruin it! We’ll be starting with tag team action as the team of Blade and Hixx take on the Alpha Bros! A fatal four way will see the debut of newcomers “Breezy” Eli Beazley and Trey Bouchet, alongside the impressive Salvatore Marino and the always-puzzling Flop.

Remi: Then my boi Jason Ryan mixing it up with former Junior Heavyweight Champ Alex Scott!

Clearwater: Cecilia Ortiz sees her first title defense this week, taking on one half of the Ronins -- Vincent Walker; and Lucy Sixx faces off against Warbird.

Remi: Hey, I like Warbird, he’s a certified badass -- but he’s got nothing on my girl Lucy!

Clearwater: And in our main event tonight, Architect Damon Warrens will go head to head with Jaice Wilds!

Remi: Wilds is coming off a big loss to Bonnie Blue at Action Wrestling last week. Makes you wonder how that’s going to affect him going into this match against a man who was dominant in his victory at 2020 Ways to Die...

Clearwater: That’s a good question, Remi. And we’ll find out later tonight! We’ve got a whole show to get through, starting with this tag team match right after this!

Smith Jones Segment

“Architects” by Rise Against rocks the speakers as all of the lights in the arena blast to full white. The lights start to slowly fade to darkness as every spotlight in the joint floods the entranceway with bright white light. Smith Jones appears on stage dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. The robe hangs open to show that Smith has the Alpha World Championship locked safely around his waist. Jones stops at the top of the ramp and takes in the mixed reaction from the capacity crowd inside Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon. The crowd begins to build to a united chant. “Ar-chi-tects! Ar-chi-tects! Ar-chi-tects! Ar-chi-tects!”

Ring Announcer Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… representing The Architects… he is your NEW Alpha Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion… there is only one… SMITH JONES!!!!!

After taking in the ambiance a beat longer, Smitty strides confidently down to ringside, even slapping just one hand along the way, smilelessly. He mounts the steel ring steps and wipes his feet respectfully on the apron before parting the ropes and taking centre. He removes the belt and holds it aloft with his right hand to a potent mix of cheers and jeers. Still hasn’t won ‘em all over yet. Trying. He grins. He slings the title over his shoulder and reaches out to ringside for a microphone. Must be truth time again. Smith stands dead centre in the ring and stares directly into the main camera.

Smith Jones: I’m Smith Jones and, as promised, I am your brand new first-ever two-time Alpha World Champion.

Crowd: I’m right here! I’m right here! I’m right here! I’m right here! I’m right here! I’m right here!

Smitty: Yes. I am indeed right here. As always. I destroyed doubt once again. I struggled and I fought to overcome the odds again. In fact, all of The Architects shone at 2020 Ways To Die. We stole the night! Please allow me to indulge myself in the fact that I can do absolutely ANYTHING. While people keep talking about wanting to be The World Champion, I’m right here doing it. I hear people mouthing off about me. You don’t think I hear you people out there begging title matches like they’re being shot out of a T-shirt cannon? Even the current North American Champion can’t keep my savoury name out of her mouth.

Jones turns to face the entranceway with a grave glare.

Smitty: Lucy. You’re just another one of those people out there who thinks it’s easy to run around collecting belts like Pokémon. Have some damned respect for the belt you just won. You have any idea how many rancid tears Zee’s cried over the loss of it? Back off. Stay in your lane. You don’t want to step into the ring with this particular Smith Jones. I’ll make you revise your dreams. I don’t know at this moment who will face me at Liberty Or Death for the Alpha World Championship, but I am ready for ANYONE and ANYTHING they can throw my way. I don’t know about all of you, but I HATED my daddy. And I will do whatever it takes to be better than he could ever have dreamed to be. Get me, Luce? Someone stop me. Dare ya.

With that, he drops the mic and exits to the sound of “Architects” by Rise Against. He pauses at the top of the ramp and holds the Alpha World Title high above his head. Fade to commercial.

Blade & Hixx vs The Alpha Bros

John Blade and LaToya Hixx are already in the ring, when "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" hits the speakers, and the twins, Randal and Jimmy Brockovich, make their way to the ring, passing a joint back and forth, and occasionally sharing it with the fans. Hixx and Blade are right in the middle of getting each other super hyped for the match, when an errant breeze wafts a thick cloud of dank smoke over their way. Blade reacts first, waving the smoke out of his face as he backs off, but his partner gets a lungful before she can move. She is suddenly, strangely possessed of an urge to sit in the middle of the ring, a blissful smile creeping across her face.

DING DING DING!

Hixx remains right where she is, eyes closed, a look of meditative serenity on her face. John Blade gives up trying to move her and returns to his corner. A hasty conference between Jimmy and Randal ends with a shrug from Randal as his partner exits the ring. Randal approaches Hixx and tries to urge him to his feet. When words don’t work, he brings a knee up against Hixx’s face. Hixx slumps to one side -- then immediately rights herself. Randal tries again from the other side, with the same effect. Mildly annoyed, Randal moves to stand in front of Hixx and goes to plant a boot square in the middle of her face. Hixx falls flat on her back to avoid it, then opens her eyes and leaps to her feet, a dopey grin on his face as he taunts her much larger opponent.

Randal has had enough of these antics and grabs Hixx by the head, dropping her on the mat with a massive DDT. Randal pulls her up again, looking for a big suplex, but Hixx fights her way free and nails a dropkick to Randal’s back. Randal whirls around and goes for a bear hug. Hixx ducks, runs past him, hits the ropes and rebounds with a crossbody! Hixx follows up with a running bulldog and Randal is down! Cover by Hixx!

One!

Two!!

Randal kicks out! Back to a vertical base, he grabs Hixx and whips her to the corner, then charges in -- but Hixx moves at the last possible second and Randal crashes into the turnbuckle! Hixx with a lariat that takes Randal down again and Hixx goes for a roll-up! Randal powers out and now it’s Randal on the attack! Randal snatches Hixx up for a big bodyslam! Randal pulls Hixx to her feet again and drags her over to the Alpha Bros corner, where Randal slaps Jimmy’s outstretched hand! Randal and Jimmy take turns raining fists down on Hixx until the official forces Randal out of the ring. Jimmy lifts Hixx and flattens her on the canvas with a fallaway slam. He covers!

One!

Two!!

THR-- NO!

John Blade breaks up the pin with a flying elbow drop! Hixx works her way back to her feet and the two whip the massive Jimmy to the ropes! Jimmy rebounds with a clothesline! Hixx takes advantage of the distraction and nails Jimmy with a superkick, then shoves her own partner back toward their corner. Once there, she slaps Blade on the shoulder and exits the ring. In seconds, Jimmy is bearing down on the unfortunate John Blade. At Hixx’s urging, Blade turns around -- just in time to take the full force of a headbutt from Jimmy! Another cover!

One!

Two!!

THR-- KICKOUT!

John Blade somehow escapes. He grabs the ropes, using them to pull himself up as Jimmy charges in at him again. He ducks a hasty grab, then nails Jimmy with a spinning heel kick! Jimmy answers back with an elbow smash! Blade backs off, shaking his head to clear the cobwebs. Jimmy chases after him -- and Blade with a jumping stunner out of nowhere! Blade with the pin!

One!

Two!!

Jimmy powers up, shoving Blade halfway across the ring in the process. Blade hits the ropes and springboards off with a hurricanrana that drops the big man again and John Blade goes for another pin!

One!

But here comes Hixx! Hixx putting boots to Jimmy, heedless of the fact that her partner is trying to secure a pinfall. Randal joins in and it isn’t long before the referee loses control of the match. All four competitors are brawling! Hixx gets one more boot down on Jimmy before Randal sends her down with a forearm! Blade hits a standing dropkick on Randal that sends the big man to the ropes! Blade follows up with a running clothesline that sends Randal out of the ring. Jimmy is back up and whips Hixx across the ring, sending her crashing into her own partner, and now Blade is out, too! Jimmy rushes in for another attack, but Hixx ducks, then nails a low kick to the back of Jimmy’s knee! Hixx follows up with an enzuigiri that leaves the big man dazed.

Jimmy staggers upright again -- right into a Straight jacket neckbreaker slam.

Randal slips in under the ropes!

Two!!

John Blade grabs his ankle and hauls him back to the outside!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Spartan Segment

The arena blacks out and the opening guitar riffs of “Destroyer” by Parkway Drive begins to echo over the ambient noise of the excited crowd, as the drum beats kick into effect the the lights flash with each beat. As Winston McCall screams “Destroyer”, the lights in the arena flash back on with full effect.

We speak in lies, we speak in tongues

We’ll see our damage done
We live in dreams, we rest in peace
Content to sleep in our chains
Seven trumpets sound their discourse, nine circles of our devise
Messages writ within our columns of fire
No life blooms from the ashes of ire

Spartan walks out onto the ramp. He is dressed in casual attire, black shorts, black singlet, backwards cap, black kicks. He stands on the stage and embraces the noise of the crowd before he starts making his way down the ramp to the ring.

But our hearts beat faster, and our heads hang low

Still we kneel for the masters

Filthy pigs all in a row

Black the sun

Hide us from what we have become

Hide us from the monsters we’ve it.become

Spartan reaches the ring and jumps onto the apron in a single vault.

Spartan springboards himself over the top rope and into the middle of the ring.

Spartan: I get it.

Spartan pauses as the raucous booing of the crowd drowns out any chance he has of actually speaking.

Spartan: I get it. I really do.You hate me now. I can understand that. But you have to understand that I did what I had to do and there is no way any of you can understand that.

The crowd comes back with more booing as they have been down they are too dumb to understand.

Spartan: Seriously, how can you - people - possibly understand what I have gone through to get to this point. You can’t. None of you are me. For twelve months, I have been isolated from my children. For twelve months I have had no hugs from son, no kisses from my daughter. Not seen a single smile. Not heard a single giggle. So, when Irina came to with the offer to enforce her discipline. To ensure the inmates didn’t think they could run the asylum. When she asked me to be her Commissar of Violence - in exchange for seeing my children again. For having my son and my daughter in my arms again. I said yes. I said yes, because I didn’t care about the consequences if I was putting the only family that matters back together. And I didn’t care what your reaction was going to be. Why should I? You’re not family. Why should you matter to me!

The crowd explodes with anger. Spartan waits for the noise to die down.

Spartan: And to the people in the back, cross paths with Irina. I will handle the business. I will do what I have to do - understand that. Finally, to Ultimate Destroyer - if you don’t like how I handle the directive of the General Manager. I will gladly meet inside a cage at Liberty of Death. I put you down once. I will put you down again - so you understand your place in this society.

Spartan drops the mic. “Destroyer” by Parkway Drive starts to play as he steps over the top rope and walks to the back ignoring the crazy loud boos of the crowd and the trash that is raining down on him in anger.

Fatal Four-Way

"Breezy" Eli Beazley vs Trey Bouchet vs Salvatore Marino vs Flop

Trey Bouchet. Flop. Breezy Eli Beazley. Salvatore Marino are all in the ring ready for this four corners match. Bouchet pairs off with Flop and Marino pairs off with Beazley. Bouchet gets the only advantages over Flop and gets him to the mat with a hip toss takeover. While, at the same time Marino overpowers Beazley and clotheslines him hard to the mat. Bouchet and Marino then set their sights on each other. Bouchet drops Marino with a BIG dropkick while landing on his back, and bouncing to his feet. Marino hits the ropes and comes back them flattens Bouchet with a clothesline. Flop os back to his feet and takes Marino to the mat with a bulldog, as he gets to his feet he turns around and straight into a dropkick by Beazley. Beazley poses for the crowd as Bouchet gets back to his feet and flips Beazley onto his head with a german suplex into a bridge pinning combination.

ONE!

Marino breaks the pin up. He grabs around the head and spikes Bouchet into the mat with a brutal DDT. He covers quickly.

ONE!

Flop bounces in and breaks up the pinfall with an elbow drop across the back of the head. He grabs Marino and sends to the ropes and then spinebusters Marino down into the mat by using the Main Course’s momentum against him. Flop covers.

ONE!

Beazley breaks up the pinfall. By dragging Flop off Marino. Breezy quickly drills Flop with a snap suplex and then floats over for a cover of his own.

ONE!

Bouchet shoves Eli off of Flop. All four get back to their feet and engage in a stare down. The all run in and start throwing haymakers in all directions. Marino asserts control and starts driving Bouchet into the corner with punch after punch. Beazley and Flop get tied up and Beazley transitions to a side headlock, before Beazley runs the ropes and flattens Flop with a style of tornado bulldog. Marino abandons a damaged Bouchet in the corner and turns straight into a DROPKICK by BEAZLEY. Bouchet staggers out of the corner and is nailed by a BEAZLEY DROPKICK and hits the mat. Flop spins around by Beazley is quick and hits Flop with another DROPKICK. Beazley sees all three men down and climbs the top rope. HOLLYWOOD HIGH DRIVE ON BOUCHET!

ONE!

TWO!

Marino goes to break up the pinfall, but Flop grabs his ankle, dragging Marino back into a Zero Down.

THREE!

Beazley looks at Flop and poses. Flop attacks Beazley and the pair start brawling to the back.

Segment

The screen cuts out black. A montage of flashing images show people in a spotlight surrounded by darkness; a close up of a woman in day of the dead face paint, a mother on her knees holding a dead child, a dog barking, a man holding a smoking revolver, a teenager blowing smoke rings, another man aiming his rifle, another teenager dragging on a spliff, a police officer on his knees holding a bloody wound on his stomach, a businessman pouring dollar notes onto the floor, a child in day of the dead face paint, a farmer cutting a tall plant down with a machete, a young woman wearing too much makeup applying more lipstick, an old man in a chair holding a knife to his throat.

Voice over: Evil sits inside all of us. El mal es humano. The devil watches us and prays for a chance to strike. Sé que lo dejarás.

The montage loops over and over getting faster each time.

Voice over: Do you let your evil take control? Or do you let other’s evil control you?

The montage gets so fast the images are unrecognisable until the screen again cuts to black.

Voice over: I am evil. Mal que puedes desnudar? Born from necessity. To hurt the bad people so you don’t have to.

El Muertos steps out of the darkness towards the camera until his face takes up the entire screen. He wears a full face makeup, white with black lines and red across the eyes. The look is similar to day of the dead skull face paint but much simpler.

El Muertos: I am Evil. I have fostered the devil so that the evil of others can’t hurt you anymore. Dejame lastimarte. Let me hurt you.

He stares deep into the camera in a creepy way. After a slightly awkward length of pause the camera fades slowly. His expression changing to joy just before black.

Alex Scott vs Jason Ryan

"Fight Like the Devil" begins, and there is a brief murmuring of fans. As the song picks up, Alex Scott parts the curtain, a look of focus and minor indifference on his face. He shows very little emotion, walking to the ring in his hooded sweatshirt, tights and boots. He hits the ring, uses the ropes the stretch, and then sits on the top turnbuckle, mentally preparing himself to wrestle.

The lights turn off, minus a single spotlight that follows Jason to the ring. Fog throughout the arena. Jason enters the ring, removes his entrance gear and sits cross-legged.

DING DING DING!

At the sound of the bell, Jason leaps to his feet, ready to mix it up with a cautious Alex Scott. The two men circle, then tie up with a classic collar-and-elbow. Ryan breaks it up with a knee, and sets Scott up for a suplex, but Scott has it scouted and escapes to drop down behind Jason Ryan. Ryan responds with a European uppercut that leaves Alex stumbling! Scott shakes it off and comes back with a running knee -- and Jason Ryan evades! Ryan with a knee of his own, but Scott blocks it!

Alex Scott going for a brainbuster, but Jason Ryan just smashes him with multiple forearms. Now Jason Ryan has the upper hand, and he capitalizes with an inverted DDT! Going for the pinfall!

One!

Two!!

Scott gets a shoulder up! Ryan hauls Scott up and whips him to the ropes. He tenses for the rebound, but Scott catches himself and stops his momentum! Ryan charges in with a running clothesline that sends Alex Scott to the outside! Jason Ryan doesn’t wait, he just jumps right onto the ropes and over, crashing into Alex Scott as he begins to get back to his feet!

Ryan is up first as the referee urges both men to get back into the ring. The Scourge ignores the ref, pulling Scott upright and into a shoulder strike! Alex Scott rallies back with a hard right, and the two men start brawling right there at ringside! The fans are on their feet, cheering them on!

A lucky shot from the All-Day Superstar gives him the advantage and he makes full use of it, running his opponent forward to send him colliding into the ringpost! Scott pushes the advantage, with a side Russian legsweep right against the steel steps! Frustrated at being ignored, the official starts his count!

One…

Alex helps a groggy Jason Ryan to his feet.

Two…

Scott lifts Ryan up to roll him back into the ring -- but Ryan resists!

Three…

Jason fights out of Alex Scott’s grip and knocks him silly with a pop-up superkick!

Four…

Unbelievably, Scott shakes it off and comes back for more! Alex Scott puts Jason Ryan down with a Dragon suplex!

Five…

Scott hauls Ryan up again to roll him under the ropes! Ryan fights him instead and drops Scott with a big fallway slam on the ringside mats!

Six…

Satisfied, now Jason Ryan picks up Alex Scott and shoves him into the ring, then follows after. Ryan picks up Scott again and plants him with a massive butterfly piledriver! Cover!

One!

Two!!

THR-- KICKOUT!

Alex Scott still has some left in the tank, and Jason Ryan can’t believe it! He rolls him back into position and covers again!

One!

Two!!

Another kickout! This time Scott gets to his feet! Ryan goes right back on the attack, picking up his opponent and setting him up for a big atomic drop! Alex Scott fights his way free! He drops down behind Ryan, hits the ropes for extra momentum, and drops him with a hurricanrana! As Ryan struggles to his knees, Scott nails him with a step-up enzuigiri! Now it’s Alex Scott making the cover!

One!

Two!!

KICKOUT by Jason Ryan! Ryan is back on his feet in an instant and he looks pissed. Ryan whips Scott into the corner and comes running in with a big boot! He backs off and charges in for another! Third time may be the charm -- but Scott moves! Ryan gets his leg caught on the top rope, and Alex Scott takes full advantage as Jason Ryan extricates himself! Snapmare from Alex Scott! He’s going for a dropkick -- and it could be lights out for Jason Ryan! Scott with the cover again!

Two!!

Ryan gets his shoulder up! He shoves Alex Scott off him and comes back to a vertical base. Jason Ryan with rapid-fire forearms, and follows up with a RAINMAKER! But he’s not done yet! Alex Scott struggles as the Scourge starts working him into a Gory Special Flatliner -- and drives Scott face-first into the canvas! P-T-F-O! Ryan hooks the leg!

Junior Heavyweight Championship

Vincent Walker vs Cecilia Ortiz

"No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin hits the PA Systems. Vincent Walker makes his way to the stage. He's nervous, but determined, making his way down the ramp, high fiving the fans at the front row, wiping his hands on his attire afterwards.

Jessica Kaine: Making his way to the ring, from Oxford England. Weighing in at 145 lbs, VINCEEEENT WALKEEEER!

Vincent makes it to ringside, takes a deep breath, and heads up the ring steps. He makes sure to wipe his feet before stepping through the ropes. He raises his arms to the cheering fans, and takes one more deep breath whilst adjusting his attire, preparing for his match.

“Show and Tell” by Melanie Martinez blasts through the arena to a big pop from the crowd. With the Junior Heavyweight Title draped over her shoulder, Cecilia Ortiz struts to the edge of the stage and lifts the belt high to the crowd.

Jessica Kaine: And his opponent, from New York City, she is YOUR Alpha Junior Heavyweight Champion… CECILIAAAA ORTIIIIZ!!!!

The champ strides along the aisle, trading high-fives with the fans. At ringside, she hops up on the apron, leans against the ropes, and somersaults backward into the ring, landing in a kneeling position, arms spread wide. With another pop from the crowd, Ortiz bounces back to her feet and poses on the ropes before handing off her belt to the referee.

DING DING DING!

Walker circles Ortiz, looking for an opening. He moves in close to tie up, but Ortiz evades and catches him with a spinning backfist. Walker shakes it off and tries again. They lock up, with Vincent quickly getting the upper hand, driving Cecilia to one knee. Cecilia pushes back, struggling to her feet again, and delivers a snap kick to her opponent’s midsection.

With Walker doubled over, Ortiz nails him with a Pele kick that puts him on the mat. She covers! But Walker kicks out before the ref can even start the count. Walker back to a vertical base and wraps her up in a waistlock -- SUPLEX! Cover!

One!

Two!!

Kickout by Ortiz at two-and-a-half! Up again, Ortiz runs for the ropes, rebounds -- ducks a clothesline attempt by Vincent Walker -- and slips right through the ropes on the other side! The fans get restless as she takes a moment to regroup on the outside. Vincent Walker to the ropes! He’s up, getting ready to take a risk!

Just then, Cecilia takes a cue from the crowd and jumps up onto the apron. A back elbow knocks Vincent back into the ring! She’s up! She’s airborne -- and gets caught by Walker in midair! He goes for a slam, and Ortiz somehow manages to escape! She drops down behind him, taps his shoulder -- and SLAPS him right across the face! Ortiz with a headscissors takedown! Cecilia with a roll-up!

Two!!

THR-- NO!

Walker kicks out with authority! Back to his feet and he makes a grab for Ortiz, who ducks! He tries again -- and again, she evades him! She runs for the ropes, and he follows! Cecilia brings him down with a modified springboard bulldog! Vincent makes his way back to a vertical base, just in time to be met with an empress kick! CECILIA’S WORD! And a cover…

Vince Garza Segment/Session Zero

The scene opens on a well-lit office. The camera is pointed at the back of a man. He is wearing a faded red sweatshirt and his hair is curly and unkempt. Sitting in front of him is a man in a grey, professional suit with a green tie. There is a small gold plaque on the desk that reads “Dr. Benjamin Klaus”.

Klaus: Vincent T Garza, is that correct?

Vince: My friends call me Vinny…

Klaus: Are we friends, Vincent?

Vince: No.

Klaus: All right, we’ll stick with Vincent.

Silence from the man in red.

Klaus: Vincent I understand you suffered from a severe injury. Is that correct?

Vince: ...Yes.

Klaus: And… is that the reason for the-

Vince: Yes.

The camera pans around to face Vincent, revealing the mask on his face depicting that of a doll’s face.

Klaus: I see… Would you mind telling me what happened?

Vince: You have it in my file.

Klaus: Yes, but it would help if you spoke about it.

Vince’s vibrant green eyes stare holes into the shrink. Despite his calm, cool demeanor, the doctor felt a sense of unease as the disturbing man glared at him.

Vince: Fine.

The therapist let out the breath he didn’t realize he was holding in.

Vince: It wasn’t my fault. I think that’s what infuriates me most about it all. My life was ruined because of someone else…

The doctor jots down notes as Garza speaks.

Vince: I shared a duplex with drug addicts… A bunch of junkies. One night, after a particularly long night of drinking with some friends, I came home and went to bed. From what they told me after the fact, one of my neighbors ended up passing out and knocked a rig or something over, starting a fire.

I was so out of it, I only woke up when the heat got too bad. I tried to escape, but it was simply too late…

The neighbors, though, made it out without a scratch. Those… cretins… faced no repercussions for their actions while I paid the price.

Klaus: Hmm… And how does that make you feel?

Vince: Angry… Sometimes it feels like I’m going to die with all the hate in my veins…

Klaus: Resentment is common in cases like yours, Vincent. That’s why you’re here. So we can-

Vince: It. Isn’t. Fair…

Klaus: I understand, Vincent. But-

Vince: Do you…? I somehow doubt that…

Vince sits quietly for a moment. He glares at the therapist before turning his head to stare into the camera. He rises from his seat and takes a step, grabbing hold of the cameraman’s collar and slowly pushing him backward.

Vince: I need to speak to the doctor… privately.

Vincent pushes the cameraman out the door and slams it shut. A few moments pass before crashing and screaming can be heard from the office. This goes on for a minute before everything goes quiet. The door opens and Vince steps out, breathing heavily but otherwise not showing any signs of a struggle.

The camera follows as Vince makes his way to the front desk where the receptionist sits frozen in fright.

Vince: I… will not be returning to Dr. Klaus.

Vincent turns and walks out of the office as the scene fades out.

Lucy Sixx vs Warbird

The lights in the arena go out as "Love Bites" begins blaring throughout the arena. Lucy Sixx steps out from behind the curtain. She stops at the top of the ramp to head bang a bit before walking briskly to the ring. She slides in and awaits her opponent.

As the vocals for "Rather Hate Than Hurt" by Hinder hit the speakers the camera focuses on the ramp. With the hit of the instruments joining in, a blast of pyro goes off and lights strobe and move around as if Hinder themselves were on stage. Warbird is nowhere to be seen. There’s a commotion in the crowd. The camera pans across, and the big man is shoving his way through the audience. He leaps over the barricade and jumps up on the ring apron, turning to pose for the fans as his music fades.

DING DING DING!

Warbird is barely through the ropes when Lucy Sixx blasts him in the face with a big boot! He catches himself on the ropes and comes back with a roaring elbow but Sixx dodges and aims a low kick to the back of his knee. Sixx goes for an enzuigiri; Warbird catches her leg and simply flings her to the mat! He stands, walking a wide circle around the North American Champ, demanding that she get up and fight him.

Lucy obliges. She springs to her feet and goes for a bulldog, but her momentum isn’t quite enough to take the bigger man down. Warbird spins her around into a DDT and spikes her head into the canvas! Cover!

One!

Two!!

Sixx kicks out! Lucy gets back up while Warbird is gloating and pulls him down with a side Russian legsweep! Warbird is on his feet again in an instant, just in time to be met with a springboard hurricanrana from Lucy Sixx! Sixx going for a classic ankle lock now, and she gets it wrenched on tight! But Warbird uses his comparatively massive size to power out of the hold, aiming a kick of his own at Lucy Sixx.

Warbird on the attack now, lifting Sixx high over his head for a gorilla press slam! He hauls her up again, and Irish whips her across the ring! She rebounds -- right into a stiff clothesline! Warbird with the cover again!

One!

Two!!

Another kickout from Sixx! Warbird getting frustrated as he uses her hair to pull her to her feet, ignoring the referee’s warnings. Warbird delivers a chop right across the chest of Lucy Sixx! Sixx staggers back, but stays on her feet! Another big chop sends her to the mat! Warbird closes in -- and gets a kick to the groin instead! Lucy leaps back to her feet, seemingly getting her second wind, and rushes at Warbird! She grabs him around the neck as she flips over his back, driving him down to the canvas! She’s up again, going for the turnbuckle! 450 splash!

Sixx doesn’t go for a cover yet. She knows she’s got to wear this big man down. Sixx goes to the turnbuckle again and drops down with a diving foot stomp! One more time to the corner -- and it’s one time too many! Warbird catches her around the throat as she leaps off and drops her with a chokeslam! The exertion is getting to him. He hesitates, moving slowly as he decides whether to go for another pinfall attempt. Shaking his head, he reaches down and grabs Lucy Sixx, setting her up for his finisher…. But Sixx rakes the eyes! She takes advantage of the diversion to hit her step-up enzuigiri; SIXX 6 SIX!

Warbird goes down! Lucy finishes him off with METAL INQUISITION! The pin is all but academic as she drops for the cover!

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Main Event

Damon Warrens vs Jaice Wilds

The lights go out as the opening notes of "The Nobodies" by Marilyn Manson plays. Very dim lighting hits the entrance and Damon Warrens slowly stalks out on stage followed by Jaime Cortez who faithfully follows after the Nitemare King. Damon has a kendo stick in one hand resting on his shoulder as he moves his head to scan the crowd.

Jessica Kaine: From San Diego California, by way of Toronto Canada, weighing in at 225 pounds, representing The Architects.... he is FEAR ITSELF DAMON WARRENS!

Damon drifts down to the ring as Jaime dutifully brings up the rear making sure that no fans distract or bother Warrens. He walks to the right side and climbs the apron. He grabs the middle rope with his free hand and on one knee leans out reaching his kendo stick out to the crowd.As he does this Jaime stands beside him and kisses Damon on the side of his white expressionless mask. The Nitemare suddenly snaps back rolling into the ring. He crouches as if waiting to attack before standing and slowly removing his mask to reveal an equally expressionless face with pure white eyes. He goes to his corner to remove his jacket and shirt white he passes to a mesmerized Jaime. Damon then hands Cortez his kendo stick before crouching in the corner and tilting his head as he stares towards his opponent.

The opening chords of “UltraNUMB” by Blu Stahli fills the arena as the lights go dark. Several flashes of blue and green lights illuminate various parts of the arena and entrance ramp to the beat of the song, all stopping with a cascade falling at the top center as Blue Stahli screams…

YOU WANT IT ALL RIGHT NOW!!!

At this point, the fans begin roaring as Jaice Wilds is spotted on a platform a few feet above the ramp. He raises his arms into an X, taking a moment to watch the crowd respond in kind before…

3! 2! 1!

Wilds flips forward off the platform, landing superhero style on the ramp below. He looks up, removing the hood from his face and tossing his shades into the crowd. He starts down the ramp, taking some time to slap random fives and bump fists.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen, making his way to the ring!! From Puerto Vehlo, Brazil; weighing in at one hundred and eighty-four pounds! Jessica Kaine: He is the Final General and YOUR Xtreme Aerialist!! He is JAICE! WIIIIIIIILLLLLLDSSSS!!!

Wilds gets into the ring and begins his usual theatrics, when, out of nowhere, he gets blindsided by an impatient Damon Warrens! Warrens yanks Wilds down off the turnbuckle and spins him around to face him, throwing lefts and rights with reckless abandon! The official steps in right away to restore order, then signals for the bell!

DING DING DING!

Immediately, Warrens is on Wilds again with a running knee! Wilds staggers back against the ropes, but answers with a forearm smash as Damon comes at him again! Wilds springboards off the ropes with a hurricanrana that sends Warens down to the canvas! Wilds following up with a chickenwing, looking to wear his opponent down early! The Nitemare King uses his strength advantage to power out and lays Wilds out with a standing dropkick! Cover!

One!

Two!!

Wilds kicks out! Damon Warrens still on the offense as he pulls Wilds to his feet and delivers a few stiff shots to the face before spinning him around to lock in a sleeper! The Xtreme Aerialist struggles, but that just wears him out quicker. He looks to be fading… as his fingers just barely latch onto the ropes. The referee moves in to force a break, but Warrens keeps the hold locked in for a few more seconds, then shoves Jaice away from him. Wilds staggers back, shaking off the cobwebs, while Warrens plays to the booing crowd. He doesn’t see Wilds charging in with a running bulldog!

Now it’s Wilds with the advantage as he helps Warrens to a vertical base -- just to pull him in for a German suplex! Wilds with the cover!

One!

Two!!

Warrens gets a shoulder up and Wilds backs off, letting him regain a vertical base. As soon as Damon Warrens is up again, Wilds goes on the attack with a superkick! But Warrens ducks out of the way and catches Jaice with a Pele kick of his own! Warrens lifts a dazed Wilds and just plants him with a vicious spinebuster! Warrens follows up with a figure-four attempt, but the Final General manages to get out of it before he can lock it in!

Jaice takes to the ropes again, climbing up the turnbuckles, with Damon in hot pursuit. Wilds perches at the top, and Warrens is right there with him. They struggle for supremacy, each looking to topple the other from the top. Damon with an attempted superplex, but Wilds catches the ropes with a foot and keeps his position! Jaice tries to set Warrens up for a DDT off the top, but the Nitemare King blocks the attempt! But in the process, he makes Jaice lose his footing, and both men go tumbling to the outside! They hit the ringside mats and neither one is moving!

Referee Spanky O’Shaughnessey hesitates a moment, then starts the ten-count, with the fans desperately urging both men to get back up!

One…

Damon Warrens begins to stir.

Two…

Jaice Wilds rolls off his back and struggles to elbows and knees.

Three…

Jaime Cortez rushes to Damon’s side, only to be brushed away as Warrens uses the crowd barrier to pull himself upright.

Four…

Warrens grabs Jaice Wilds by the head and hauls him to his feet.

Five…

A dazed Wilds lashes out at Damon Warrens with a hasty forearm; Warrens responds with a knee to the midsection.

Six…

Warrens rolls Wilds back into the ring, stopping the official’s count! Damon Warrens back in the ring with a springboard stunner just as Wilds regains his feet! NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE! Warrens covers!

One!

Two!!

But somehow, Jaice kicks out just before three! Warrens can’t believe it! Wilds crawls out of his reach and starts using the ropes to pull himself up again. Warrens sees his opportunity to finish this and rushes past the ref with a V-Trigger knee! JUSTIFIABLE HOMICIDE! Jaice Wilds looks to be out! Warrens rolls him up with a schoolboy pin…

One!

Two!!

THREE!!!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: The winner of this match, by pinfall -- the Nitemare King, DAMON WARRENS!!!

Jaime Cortez rushes in to celebrate with Damon as “The Nobodies” by Marilyn Manson thunders through the arena to a mixed reaction from the crowd. The camera stays on the triumphant Warrens as the scene fades to a black screen with the APW logo.
