"Geri, why the fuck did I enter this?" The camera pans out to show Cecilia Ortiz standing in a ring alongside her half-sister Geri Miller. Cecilia had never wrestled before and her lack of confidence was showing. Geri laughed before speaking.
"Cecilia, you can do this. You got this. Now let's look at some of your opponents. What do you think about Raging Dead?" Geri decided to play interviewer.
"Raging Dead is a hell of a champion and a hell of a wrestler. He is a champion everywhere he goes."
Geri cuts Cecilia off. "Tell us why you are better than Raging Dead."
Cecilia thinks for a moment. She smiles as if she has gotten an idea. "I feel like I am smarter than him. He is going to go right for the throat of everyone. Me, being a new wrestler, I am going to bide my time and use it wisely. I am going to make sure I get some eliminations by hanging back and plotting my spots. Raging Dead will not be able to last too long if he is trying to fight everyone."
Geri smiles as she asks about another former Cruiserweight Champion. "What about QDT?"
Cecilia thinks for a moment, a finger on her chin, before she replies. "QDT seems to have a lot on his plate what with Jenna and Tawny and the baby. Now he has Nikki Vaughn in this match gunning for him. He can't be concerned about little ole me. Why would he be worried? I may be new but I can be dangerous. I am a wild card in this match."
Geri goes to ask another question but Cecilia keeps speaking. "That is going to be the downfall for a lot of people in this match. They are going to think I am too green or too new to Action Wrestling to be a factor. I was General Manager for NIWF and for Trinity Wrestling. I have been around the business. I may have just started training for active competition but I know what I am doing. I know what I need to do. I am willing to do whatever it takes to win this matchup. Want to talk about the disadvantages? I am being overlooked by everyone in this match. No one is worried about me. It is going to be focus on the same people. Focus on Derrick Vayden. Focus on Raging Dead. Focus on QDT. Focus on Kyle Cameron. I will use that to my advantage. When the bell rings all bets are off. I don't care if it is YOU standing across from me Geri. It is everyone for themselves at that point. I have to prove I am not just some random person being thrown in here to be a quick elimination. I entered on my own accord. We all did. I am here to fight for honor and for Trinity. I am one of four people in this match that were in Trinity and I will be damned if I am going to be a weak link because of it. Now that Trinity is gone I need to find a new passion and if wrestling is it then I will do my best to be the best. Am I saying I am going to win this? No. Nothing is certain but I am saying that I have just as much opportunity as anyone. There are thirty of us in this match and accidents happen. Who is to say people don't accidentally eliminate themselves? I have a history with battle royals, Trinity named their first World Champion in a battle royal and guess who was there as the action unfolded? Me. I watched it happen. I know my strengths and they will outweigh my weaknesses come December 22. Win or lose you will all know that Cecilia Ortiz has made her mark on Action Wrestling."
Geri Miller's jaw hangs open as Cecilia looks at her and speaks. "Sound good to you, sis?"
Geri nods as she speaks. "That is beyond good, sis. You may have more of a chance than you give yourself credit for. We have somewhere to be. The Cool Kids are having lunch."
