Blue and Orange pyro bursts from the stage as the camera pans around the audience of the sold out Pechanga Arena. Ace of Spades begins to fade, but stays audible as the camera now focuses on the commentary team at ringside.

St. Remi: WOOOO! Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the debut show of Alpha Pro Wrestling!

Mike Clearwater: YES! After months of advertisement, we are finally here. Live from the Pechanga Arena in the 619, San Diego, California. My name is Mike Clearwater, and this is my brodcast colleague, former United Championship Infinite tag team champion, Jonah St. Remington! Folks, we have one hell of a show for you all tonight. Welcome... To Alpha Rising!

St. Remi: That's right, Mike! After so much planning, and preparation, this is finally a reality. And the talent that has been signed is beyond phenomenal. Tonight, our main event features the former owner of NBPW, Masuda Jubei facing off against newcomer Braxton Locus!

Mike Clearwater: That and so much more! But right now, let's take it to our very own ring announcer, Jessica Kaine in the ring to start us off the right way.

The camera pans to Jessica Kaine, standing in the ring, microphone in hand.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to welcome down to the ring, the general manager of Monday Night Metal! One of the people responsible for the entire event! DAMIAN KAINE!

Ace of Spades fades into We Own It by 2Chainz as the former UCI and Action Wrestling television champion passes under the curtain, receiving a standing ovation from the 16,000+ in attendance. Kaine makes his way down to the ring with a strut, high-fiving fans on his way down the ramp. As he steps over the middle rope, Jessica hands him a microphone and steps out of the ring. The music starts to fade as Damian removes his shades.

Damian Kaine: Wow.

He retracts for a moment, soaking in the feeling.

Damian Kaine: I can't tell you guys how truly exhilarating this is. To be in front of you people, standing as the Active General Manager of my own brainchild. WELCOME! TO ALPHA. PRO. WRESTLING!

He lets the pop of the crowd die down as he pulls the mic back to his lips.

Damian Kaine: Now, I wanna keep this short and simple, because I don't want to take from the amazing athletes that you're going to see tonight. I just wanted to tell you all thank you. Thank you for making this dream a reality. And thank you to Adam Dante.

The camera cuts to a shot of the sky box, where APW Owner Adam Dante is watching from above, a smile on his face.

Damian Kaine: Now, we all know. In just under six weeks, Alpha Pro will hold it's very first Pay Per View, ALPHA SHOWDOWN! Similar to WCF's Ultimate Showdown, the main event will hold every champion in the business. Three of which will be crowned in the weeks leading up to our inaugural Pay Per View. That said, on that very night, July 23, we will crown the very first APW World Heavyweight Champion! IN the coming weeks, myself, Mr. Dante, and our Co-Commissioners will be keeping a close eye on how the talent does, and that will definitely decide who goes into the Alpha Showdown matchup. And this watching starts tonight! So, without further ado, let's get started!

The crowd pops again, and We Own It plays as Damian steps out of the ring and walks to the back.

Tsukiko vs Nyeo Son

The slow, techno beats of Burning up by BTS stars, accompanied by dark, slow-motion footage of a rave on the titantron and multicolored strobe lights.

It all stops as a voice speaks a single word in korean.

“Bultaoreune”

The area explodes into a cascade of red and white to reveal Nyeo Son on the ramp, arms outstretched and with a smirk on his face.

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: This contest is set for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Suwon, South Korea, weighing in at 145 lbs. He is Nyeeeeeo Sooooooon!

Mike Clearwater: We’re getting right back to the action here tonight, as Nyeo Son faces off against Tsukiko.

St. Remi: I remember both of these two from NBW, bro, and let me tell ya, that Tsu Tsu chick has a lot on her plate tonight!

He makes his way to the ring, his body swaying in time to the music, his coat and gloves catching the light and making him shine like a lonesome star in the otherwise dark arena.

He rolls into the ring and stares down the hard camera as he leans over the ropes, licking his lips with a smirk before casually arching back until he is lying on his back on the mat, the camera switches to show him straight from above as he gestures it closer, a hungry look on his face before the lights go out once more.

Mike Clearwater: As Remi said, both competitors were in the late New Blood Wrestling, but because of them being part of separate iterations of the former fed, they’ve never crossed paths. That changes today.

The lights in the arena dim down as all attention became focused on the entrance; there the titantron lit up with an image of a moon brilliantly shining bright as the slow melodic beginning of Alddious' "We Are" began to play throughout the building. That would carry on till the song picked up at the 27-second mark. When it did the moon on the titantron shattered into hundreds of pieces before shifting to a flurry of clips of a woman hitting various high-risk moves and bone shattering filled the screen one after another. That would carry on until the heavenly vocals began to echo throughout the arena, and when they did the camera (and the attention of the crowd) shifted to a woman wearing a fox mask standing center stage. All the while white and silver tinted light flashed seamlessly and endlessly.

"I suffered one day.
I cried one night
Crouching alone looking
like a pupa glowing

Hoping one day to
find something true
I keep on flying high
I won't let you regret"

As the vocals continued, the masked woman would hop in place and shake out her hands. That is, until the first of three "We Are"s of the song hit. When they did, the woman stopped hopping and quickly grabbed onto the mask she wore in dramatic fashion. When the second "We Are" hi, the woman titled her mask covered face down. Finally, after the third "We Are", the woman abruptly tilted her head back up and slid the mask off of her face to reveal herself as The Shimmering Kitsune {Kirameku Kitsune} Tsukiko! With her identity now revealed, the crowd loudly began to cheer their support for the young Japanese woman! However, despite the ruckus, a nearby camera managed to pick Tsukiko's voice as she shouted out in excitement over the overwhelming support.

Tsukiko: Takakautame ni jikan!

Jessica Kaine: His opponent, from Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 120lbs. The Shimmering Kitsune, Tsuuuuuuuuukiiiiiiiiiikoooooooo!

St. Remi: What did she just say?

Mike Clearwater: She says it’s time to fight, and fight she will! Tsukiko vs Nyeo Son is about to happen for the first time ever!

With the ring announcer making her official introduction, Tsukiko placed the fox mask back on her head (only it was angled off to the side) and began the walk down to the ring. Along the way, she went about interacting with various members of the crowd. The gentle slapping of hands in the universal high-five. he occasional fist bump. A hug or two. All of these happened along the way as she zig-zagged from one side of the ramp to the other until she reached the ringside area. It was there that she began walking to the steps nearest to her, but came to a stop before she ascended. After taking a moment to look out at the sold-out crowd, Tsukiko slid the fox mask off of her head and turned to those that were in the front row that was closest to her position. It was then that she stepped over to the barricade and handed off her mask to a young fan before darting up the steps and between the ropes into the ring.

DING DING DING!

The two circle around the ring for a bit before locking up. After a bit of a struggle, Nyeo power pushes Tsukiko down. She instantly rises, and steps up to the redhead, standing toe to toe with him. The crowd “ooo”s as Nyeo scoffs at the Kitsune, until she begins to palm strike him into the corner.

Mike Clearwater: There’s that fighting spirit that Tsukiko is known for, taking Nyeo Son by surprise!

She goes to the corner and charges at Nyeo, but he gracefully rolls out of the corner. Tsukiko realizes this, and stops before hitting the corner, turning right back over to her opposition. They lock up again, this time Tsukiko quickly goes for a waist lock. Nyeo eventually drops down, sliding underneath and grabbing her ankles to drop her down. He goes for a grounded headlock to slow down the quicker fighter.

St. Remi: Look at that, bro! Nyeo is very intelligent, realizing that he needs to methodically wear her down in order to have the upperhand.

The crowd cheers Tsukiko on as she tries to fight her way up, but Nyeo retaliates with a headlock takeover. After a bit of wearing down, Tsukiko eventually reverses with a headscissor, only for Nyeo to kick up. She quickly hits him with a drop toe hold before he can gain his momentum back, following up with a guillotine.

Mike Clearwater: Tsukiko with some grounding of her own!

St. Remi: Not for long. Nyeo’s rising. She doesn’t have the strength to keep him down.

Just like that, however, Tsukiko is able to quickly snap a spinning neck breaker on Nyeo.

St. Remi: She’s quick though! That neckbreaker has him down!

Mike Clearwater: She’s hitting the ropes, and hits a mean senton to follow it up! She’s going for the pin!

St. Remi: Nope! Not even a one count before he gets the shoulder up and pushes her off.

Nyeo clobbers her down and starts to repeatedly stomp on her. Ref Spanky gets him out of the way. They begin to argue a bit.

St. Remi: Nyeo starting to show that meanstreak!

Mike Clearwater: Will that work on Tsukiko though? She seems to be gathering her bearings. A quick roll up on Nyeo while he argues with the ref!

One!

Two!

St. Remi: He kicks out, and then hits her with a big punch that takes her down!

Mike Clearwater: Was that a throat punch?

St. Remi: Not if the ref doesn’t see it, bro!

Tsukiko tries to get back up, but a thrust kick brings her right back down. He grabs her by the hair, ref Spanky warning him to let go. She begins to punch Nyeo to try and loosen his grip, but he uses her hair to mat slam her down, putting his foot on her for the pin.

One!

Mike Clearwater: He may have some vicious offence, but the heart of Tsukiko keeps her alive with a quick kick out!

Nyeo grabs her and slams her head to the corner. He begins to shove his forearm across her face. Ref Spanky begins the 5 count. He gets to 4 before Nyeo lets go. Tsukiko pushes him off and runs toward him, but he hip tosses her for her efforts.

St. Remi: Tsukiko can’t seem to gain any momentum! The end could be near for her, dude.

Mike Clearwater: Let’s not get hasty. She’s still got a lot of fight left in her.

St. Remi: I don’t know about that, bro! He’s about to lock in a sharpshooter!

Mike Clearwater: She’s fighting it, though! She wants no part of that!

It’s too late. She tried to kick and punch, but after a few stomps to the gut, Nyeo was able to lock in the sharpshooter.

Mike Clearwater: It’s locked in! The ref is asking! Will she tap out!?

The crowd cheer on Tsukiko. They don’t want her to give in. She refuses to give in, shaking her head while in agony. Slowly, desperately, she tries to crawl over to the bottom rope, only for Nyeo to use his weight advantage to pull her back to the center of the ring. The crowd disappointingly boos.

St. Remi: This could be it! She’s got nowhere to go!

Mike Clearwater: She won’t tap! She refuses!

With all her strength, Tsukiko pushes up, and quickly rolls through, turning the submission into a pin attempt.

One!

Two!

St. Remi: Kick out, but how the hell did she pull that off!

Mike Clearwater: She isn’t done! She hits a major superkick as he rises! He’s staggered!

Nyeo Son makes the mistake of going to the ropes. Tsukiko takes advantage and clotheslines him out of the ring.

Tsukiko: Takakautame ni jikan!

Mike Clearwater: She says it’s time to fight, as she hits the rope, and runs through for a HUGE suicide dive to Nyeo!

The crowd is electric for Tsukiko! She slams his head on the apron before throwing him back into the ring.

St. Remi: What’s she doing?

Mike Clearwater: She is headed up top, looking to make a big risk for a big win!

St. Remi: This is a bad idea. Nyeo’s getting up!

Mike Clearwater: Wham! Big missile dropkick hits the target! She’s going for the pin!

One!

Two!

Thr--

St. Remi: Still not enough! He kicks out!

Tsukiko stalks her pray as Nyeo attempts to gather his bearings. Once he’s almost up, she hits him with more fierce palm strikes.

St. Remi: She’s showing off that strong style, bro! Big spinning back fist! Then a back elbow!

Mike Clearwater: He’s down to one knee! It looks like she may be going for the Moon Breaker!

She goes for the knee strike, but Nyeo ducks. She runs after him, but is met with a sling blade. He poses for the crowd, who boo him heavily, as he awaits his opponent to rise back up.

Mike Clearwater: She’s up to one knee… oof! He just hit her with a mean palm strike to the head!

St. Remi: He calls that Cranberry Juice, and it’s easy to see why! She’s got some pouring from her forehead!

The crimson only fires her up even more. She gives out a war cry, amping up the crowd, and frustrating her contemporary. He goes for a quick eye poke, but she grabs his arm and gets him in a submission of her own!

Mike Clearwater: Trickery of the Fox! An arm trapped crossface! She’s got it locked in!

St. Remi: No way, bro! He can’t tap now!

Mike Clearwater: She’s got it locked though, Remi! They’re in the middle of the ring!

Nyeo’s looking for a way out. Trying to reach for a rope, but none are within his reach. He doesn’t have the leverage to hit any clear strikes to Tsukiko. He’s forced to use his barely free arm to try and crawl over to the rope. The crowd is chanting “tap, tap, tap, tap!” as he struggles to get to safety.

Mike Clearwater: Is this it? Is Nyeo Son going to tap out in his APW debut!?

St. Remi: No! He’s got the rope!

Ref Spanky starts the five count, Tsukiko lets go at three. Still with a crimson face, she fires herself up once more, while Nyeo savors his arm.

Mike Clearwater: She’s calling for it! Can she hit the Moon Breaker!?

St. Remi: That’s the last thing he wants! He’s gotta avoid it if he hopes to win!

Mike Clearwater: Here she cooomes… MOON BREAKER!

St. Remi: No! He ducks again!

Mike Clearwater: Whoa! She almost hit the ref!

While ref Spanky is distracted, Tsukiko gets a surprise eye poke from Nyeo Son.

Mike Clearwater: No! Ref! She’s blind! That should be a disqualification!

St. Remi: STRAIN AND SERVE! He hit the cutter! Now it’s time for the dragon sleeper!

Mike Clearwater: No, Remi, he’s going for the pin! He’s got the bottom rope!

One!

Two!

THREE!!

DING DING DING!

The crowd boos heavily as Burning Up (Fire) by BTS blares through the PA system.

St. Remi: It ain’t cheating if you don’t get caught, bro! Tsuki fought hard, but Nyeo fought smart!

Mike Clearwater: Tsukiko gave it her all, but unfortunately, Nyeo Son stole the victory here tonight. It wasn’t fair, but the ref’s decision is final.

Tsukiko, still bloodied, gets up after a fierce battle. She stares down at Nyeo once more while ref Spanky raises his hand. They have a stare down for a bit, before Tsukiko raises her hand up for the code of honor. Nyeo Son looks at her like she’s stupid before scoffing and bumping passed her and snaking his way out of the ring. The crowd boos even louder than before.

St. Remi: Did she really think he was gonna shake her hand?

Mike Clearwater: Well, respect seems to only be a one way street in this situation. We’ll be right back, folks!

We see Lucy Sixx backstage jamming on her guitar in the locker room. She notices the camera.

Lucy Sixx: Tonight I begin my ascent to the top. Steven Osbourne is just the first victim.

She jams out a bit more.

Lucy Sixx: I am going to say this. Adam Dante I will be your first world champion. You can totally bank on it. I am at long shot odds ladies and gentlemen. Go to Vegas now so you can win yourself some money! Now if you will excuse me.

She jams out more as we cut away.

Lucy Sixx vs Steven Osbourne

Mike Clearwater: Hello, folks and welcome back to “APW Presents: Alpha Rising,” the very first event hosted under our APW banner!

St. Remi: And the higher-ups couldn’t have chosen a more apt name for this. APW is truly on the rise here tonight, ladies and gentlemen.

Mike Clearwater: Right you are, Remi! Here we are, gearing up for only our third match and it’s already been one hell of a night.

DING DING DING!

The lights in the arena go out as “Looks that Kill” by Halestorm begins blaring throughout the arena. Lucy Sixx steps out from behind the curtain.

Jessica Kaine: The following contest is a singles match, and it is scheduled for one fall! Making her way to the ring first, from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 110 pounds! She is “Full Metal” Lucy Sixx!

She stops at the top of the ramp to head bang a bit before walking briskly to the ring. She slides in and awaits her opponent.

The crowd dies down in anticipation as Lucy eyes the entrance ramp.

“Fever for the Flava” by Hot Action Cop brings the crowd to their feet and dancing as Steven Osbourne passes under the curtain, followed closely by Amber del Vallee and Veronica Anderson, who definitely looks annoyed.

Jessica Kaine: And her opponent…

Jessica flips through her index card with Osbourne’s information. She looks at the commentary team.

Jessica Kaine: (Barely Audible) Uh… Yeah I’m not saying any of this.

She picks the mic back up to her lips.

Jessica Kaine: Accompanied by Veronica Anderson and Amber del Vallee, he is Steven Osbourne!

By this time, Osbourne has strutted his way through the ropes and is admiring the body of Jessica Kaine as she gets out of the ring and simply shutters. Referee Jasmine Silk checks both competitors, much to the enjoyment of Osbourne, then rings the bell as Anderson and del Vallee find their places at ringside.

DING DING DING!

Both competitors leave their corners and circle each other as the match is now underway. Lucy dashes and catches Osbourne with an early Lou Thesz press, pummeling him into the ground with hard force as the referee attempts to restrain her.

Left! Right! Left! Right!

Sixx continues to lay into Osbourne despite the ref’s pleas.

One!

Two!

Sixx notices the count and gets off of her opponent and walks around, eyeing the crowd with a mischievous grin as Silk checks on Osbourne. She turns her attention back to Osbourne, but is stopped by the referee who tells her to let Osbourne back to his feet.

Meanwhile, Osbourne is recovering and to his knees. Sixx shoves the ref aside, but is stopped dead by a rake to the eyes! Osbourne dives behind her and rolls her up, grabbing her tights.

One!

No! Lucy easily kicks out, but Osbourne stays on top of her, holding her down as he motions for Veronica to distract the referee. As she takes Silk over to a corner, Amber grabs a chair from ringside.

Osbourne picks up Lucy and gives her a snap suplex, but Lucy stops it and delivers a suplex of her own. She goes to gloat again, but Steven is up quickly and clips her knee, sending her down to one.

Osbourne stands to his feet, motioning for Amber to throw the chair in the ring. Amber rears back and launches it…

Right.

At.

Osbourne.

He quickly tries to evade, but the edge of the chair hits him right in the head.

He holds the top of his head in pain, screaming, taking a knee in the corner.

Lucy Sixx is now to her feet, momentarily laughing at the stupidity she just witnessed. As the referee turns around, Lucy dashes to Steven, and with a picture perfect step-up enziguri, takes him down to the ground.

Mike Clearwater: SIXX 6 SIX!

Sixx looks around at the crowd, and down to Steven Osbourne, unconscious on the floor.

St. Remi: I think Osbourne is out cold!

Mike Clearwater: So much for Amber del Vallee’s career as a valet.

Sixx looks at the top rope like an old friend. She steps over Osbourne’s lifeless body and hops up… to the second rope… to the top!

St. Remi: IT’S OVER! METAL INQUISITION!

Sixx hooks the leg as Silk makes the count.

One!

Two!

THREE!

DING DING DING!

Lucy Sixx rolls to the outside quickly, knowing that Osbourne won’t be down for too long. “Love Bites” once again fills the Pechanga arena, but is nearly drowned out by the audience boos.

Veronica Anderson and Amber del Vallee slide into the ring to check on their boss. Amber jumps around, somehow under the impression that Osbourne won, but Anderson is simultaneously waking her boss and chastising her less-than-intelligent coworker as Monday Night Metal goes to commercial.

WarSaw Pact vs Canadian Coalition

Mike Clearwater: We start tonight with some of the more active talent on roster. On social media, that is.

St. Remi: Both sides have us excited for what’s to come when two coalitions go head to head.

Mike Clearwater: And here they come, our ambassadors from the greater north.

"Working Man" by RUSH plays and from behind the curtain steps Mercer Quinn, Ravenous Rick Rage, and Kyle Ryder, they stop at the top of the ramp and they place their hands over their hearts. All three men yell out, "O CANADA!!!", the fans share in their salute and the men make their way down the ramp slapping hands and giving welcoming smiles.

Announcer: Making their way to the ring at combined weight of 530 pounds… accompanied by Kyle Rider… The Can-aaaaaa-di-aaaaaan Co-a-li-tioooooooooooon!

All three enter from 3 different sides of the ring and as they enter the ring, Kyle stands in the middle with the other two standing on either side of him, much like the stage stance, each men places a hand over their hearts. "O, CANADA!!!" Kyle exits the ring and Mercer and Rick play paper, rock, scissors, to see who starts the match.

St. Remi: And for his Alpha Wrestling debut, it seems Mercer Quinn has beaten his partner with paper.

Mike Clearwater: So he’s up first. These men aren’t ashamed of their Canadian roots. In fact, the humble brag about it at every turn.

St. Remi: You just don’t understand.

Mike Clearwater: I get the beer, syrup and poutine. The rest goes right over my head.

St. Remi: I bet you’re a Molson man.

As the vocals for "Rather Hate Than Hurt" by Hinder hit the speakers the camera focuses on the ramp. With the hit of the instruments joining in, a blast of pyro goes off and lights strobe and move around as if Hinder themselves were on stage... Warbird appears just as a chain riffs from the big screen. "The Lumberjack" by Jackyl, bringing out Buzz saw Bundy who raises a fist with his teammate.

Jessica Kaine: And on their opponents… weighing at combined 605 pounds… The Waaaar-saaaw Pact!

As the crowd pops, Bundy and Warbird make their way to the ring, slapping the outstretched hands of eager fans. Grabbing the top rope, Buzz saw steps onto the apron, and over the top rope into the ring. Warbird wipes his shoes before hopping over the third rope. Bundy removes his flannel shirt, revealing his oiled body by Adonis. Warbird directs his partner that he will be starting.

St. Remi: Both sides have been active online, but now we get to see if strength or that famed Canadian grit will win. I don’t have pick, Mike.

Mike Clearwater: And there’s the bell. Warbird locks up with Mercer Quinn… and Quin slips free into a hammerlock.

St. Remi: Never chop a Japanese wrestler. But you never, EVER mat wrestle with a Canuck.

Mike Clearwater: Warbird against the ropes and he goes flying from a back body drop.

St. Remi: He needs to move faster. Be unpredictable. Slow and steady only benefits technicians.

Bundy claps his giant hands like Superman to fire up his partner. Warbird recovers yet ends up in a side headlock. Mercer tries for a stalling suplex, but his opponent gets a kick to the inside leg.

Mike Clearwater: Well that broke the hold. And Mercer goes down. How much air did Warbird get on that dropkick?

St. Remi: He’s going for the pin!

One!

Mike Clearwater: Barely one on the count, Mercer and Warbird back to their feet.

St. Remi: Quinn going back to his technical game, grabbing at the ankle. He wants a takedown!

Mike Clearwater: Wow, what a belly-to-belly suplex from Mercer Quinn.

Fans love his sporting salute to the crowd after that move. He then sets up another suplex clutch, then swaps over to a back sided grapple. Warbird goes up once more, planted from a straightjacket suplex.

Mercer Quinn tags in Rick Rage who stops Wardbird from making a tag of his own with a big boy’s senton splash. Fans jump from their seats when—seemingly caught in a German suplex—Warbird lands awkwardly on both feet. He then rushes Mercer, hitting a bulldog followed by a huge soccer kick to the ribs. Fans loved it too.

Mike Clearwater: Rick Rage recovers, but that kick hit him good.

St. Remi: Warbird could be in trouble here. There’s a size difference that he’ll have to overcome. And speed might not be enough against RRR.

Mike Clearwater: Rage on all fours.

St. Remi: It’s amateur wrestling, Mike. He’s taking control.

Mike Clearwater: Warbird runs for his corner and get caught… back suplex! And he wants one more! Stalling suplex!

Mike Clearwater: He gets a shoulder up, but Triple R is on the assault. Boston crab… wait!

St. Remi: He’s overpowering Warbird from the ground!

Transitioning from the hold, like a reverse Dean Malenko, RRR powers Warbird into a powerbomb clutch. Fan want it bad as Warbird punches desperately to break free. He takes the unwanted rollercoaster ride like a lawn dart.

Mike Clearwater: Canadian Rager! What an incredible powerbomb!

St. Remi: Oh yeah! He got the shoulder up.

Mike Clearwater: Do my eyes deceive me?

St. Remi: No way, bro. He was a goner, but Warbird has too much heart to quit now. Not here at his debut match. That’s right, everybody, clap for this man!

Mike Clearwater: Sit down. You look ridiculous.

St. Remi: It’s Alpha Rising. Bout time we had something to cheer for, Mikey-boy.

Rick Rage tags his partner back in, setting up something big. Mercer takes Warbird up into an electric chairdrop. Rookie official Cassidy Kaine freezes, forgetting that he has to count RRR out of the ring. It lets them set up a devastating combo. Mercer Quin rears back with his best super kick at the ready. He makes a couple stomps to rev the crowd up, along with some theatrics. Kyle Rider jumps around to get the crowd to join their rising energy.

Mike Clearwater: Could it be?

St. Remi: Mercer has a power kick.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Mike Clearwater: Here he goes… oh no! He just kicked his partner in his Newfoundland.

St. Remi: Nope… Warbird timed that perfectly and guided the kick to the wrong targets.

Mike Clearwater: Triple R is seeing maple leaves... really, nothing?

St. Remi: Nope.

Mike Clearwater: Fine… he really took that one right in the poutine!

St. Remi: Even worse, bub.

Cassidy Kaine finally remembers what to do and just sort of rakes Rick Rage out the ring.

Mike Clearwater: Buzzsaw begging for a tag. Warbird crawling his way!

Mercer tries to interrupt the tag, but Bundy’s giant bear claw grabs Warbird first. He steps over the ropes and goes full blitzkrieg on Mercer Quinn. A big boot drops him hard, followed by a military press slam, followed then by a leaping leg drop. He then drags Quinn to the apron and hits a guillotine leg drop to drive his point home. Kyle Rider tries to intervene by standing in Bundy’s landing zone. Instead, the Polish polar bear picks Rider over his head and tosses him into the crowd.

Mike Clearwater: That’s the price of front row seats.

St. Remi: You might get a free autograph too… although, who wants one from that dude. I’d rather have it stamped by the boss man.

Mike Clearwater: Mercer retreating to his corner, but Rick Rage is still lying outside the ring. Bundy has singlehandedly torn their team in two.

St. Remi: So many Ruskie jokes in my head. But I might lose yet another wrestling gig.

Warbird takes to the apron to cheer on his boy Buzzsaw. RRR barely makes it to the opposite corner when Bundy clambers to the ropes. Quinn gets separation.

St. Remi: Bundy pursuing Mercer Quin like a T-1000.

Mike Clearwater: Nowhere to go but into that bear’s grasp. He hobbles towards friendly confines… Bundy has the nape of his neck.

St. Remi: Polish whip into the far corner! Big boot incoming!

Mike Clearwater: Look! Rick Rage got the tag!

St. Remi: Oh yeah! Spear!

Triple R slaps the ground only to see Bundy rise zombie-like from the canvas. He laughs before starting a chant around the arena.

Rage! Rage! Rage!

Rage! Rage! Rage!

Mike Clearwater: I think he wants to do it again, Remi.

St. Remi: Don’t wait. Take him out big boy!

He rushes Buzzsaw Bundy and clobbers him with an even more forceful spear. Mercer reacts, cutting off Warbird with a super kick before he break up the pin.

Jessica Kaine: And your winners… the Can-aaaaa-di-aaaaaaan Coa-liiiii-tioooooooon!

Mike Clearwater: Fantastically played by Rick Rage. Bundy had no idea what hit him.

St. Remi: A bit of trickery. But what a veteran play by those bubs. Teamwork at its finest. Do you know that means, Mikey?

Mike Clearwater: Do I wanna know?

St. Remi: Hell yeah! Labatt’s on the house!

Mike Clearwater: They just planted the Maple Leaf in the center of our ring. What a match, and there’s more on the way tonight for the official kick-off party of Alpha Wrestling. Don’t leave that seat!

Smith Jones is sitting in his locker room on a steel folding chair staring off at nothing. He is dressed in a shiny white robe with sparkly silver trim. Jones seems supremely focused on the task ahead of him, facing Haruna Sakazaki and Scott Slayer later on tonight. He mutters to himself.

Smith Jones: Tonight is about finding out who is the Alpha here in APW. Who will rise to the occasion and make a name for him or herself in this company and who will be just happy to be here? In case we haven’t met, I’m Smith Jones. I’ve been in wrestling company after wrestling company during my eight and a half years as a professional in this business. I can assure you that I am ALWAYS the one in the limelight making waves and spreading my name across this entire business. I’ve been everywhere. I’ve always been a key player no matter where I choose to lace up my white patent leather boots. Tonight will be no different. If you’re looking for the alpha in Alpha Pro, screen grab this.

Jones holds his right fist up in the air and looks up at it. He opens his hand and spreads his fingers out wide before slowly bringing it down and resting his face in his hand. Fade to black.

Richard Dweck vs "Tuxedo" Max

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: This match is set for one fall...

Richard cartwheels out to the stage, he makes his way down the aisle way high-fiving fans all the way down on both sides and all around ring side (Rhonda Rousey style) then he makes his way up the steel steps and climbs into the ring female/non wrestler style but trips on the bottom ring apron rope, falling but saving himself at the last second Willy Wonka (Gene wilder) style with a somersault and does a martial arts pose.

Jessica Kaine: Currently in the ring, he is Richaaaard Dweeeeeck!

St. Remi: This guy thinks he is special, dude?

Mike Clearwater : Clearly he is more special than you.

Music cues up. The Alphatron broadcasts footage from the arena's parking lot, showing Max’s ‘chauffeur’ letting him out of the back of his limo along with his ‘personal assistant’. After a few seconds of them walking it switches to show his name "Tuxedo Max" along with background images of him partying it up, training, and performing in the ring. Max and his coterie appear on the stage. He struts down the ramp, waving and slapping hands with the crowd while his employees hand out coupons for his business. When the group reaches ringside the ‘chauffeur’ holds the ropes for the other two to enter. Max then moves to the center of the ring, where his ‘personal assistant’ removes his jacket, making sure to display its logo to everyone attending. Max flexes and talks trash during this before ultimately moving to his corner.

Jessica Kaine: And his opponent, Tuxedooo Maaaax!

Mike Clearwater: What tux game by Max here.

St. Remi: My tux is Gucci. I win, bro.

DING DING DING!

The two men start with a collar/elbow tieup. Max, the taller of the two, gets the advantage and tosses Dweck into the ropes. Max ducks for a backdrop but much to soon as Dweck kicks him in the face. Dweck quickly behind Max and rolls him up. Kaine gets in position.

One!

KICKOUT!

St. Remi: What the hell is he trying there?

Mike Clearwater: To win the match, duh BRO.

Remi shoots a glare at Mike as we cut back to the ring where both men are back on their feet. Max runs at Dweck and clotheslines him over the ropes. Max quickly climbs the ropes and hits a double ax handle on Dweck on the outside. Max raises Dweck to his feet and the two men begin brawling as Kaine begins his count.

One…

Two…

Rights and lefts being exchanged without a sense of urgency to get back into the ring.

Three…

Four…

Dweck irish whips Max into the barricade. He runs at Max and hits a big boot on Max. Dweck celebrates as the count continues.

Five…

Six…

Dweck slides in the ring and awaits Max. Max begins to stir.

Seven…

Eight…

Max shakes the cobwebs out.

St. Remi: Max needs to hurry. Dude doesn’t even know where he is.

Mike Clearwater: It is ok. He is coming to.

Nine…

Te--

In the final second Max slides back into the ring but is met by some stomps from Dweck. Dweck continues the onslaught until Kaine pulls him back. Max slowly makes it to his feet in the corner. Dweck runs at him for the Rick Kick but Max ducks out of the way as Dweck’s leg gets caught up in the corner. Max turns Dweck around and hits a belly to belly suplex. Dweck rolls out of the ring as Max follows. Kaine again begins to count.

One…

Two…

Max lifts Dweck up and crotches him on the barricade. He takes a couple steps back and runs hitting a big boot knocking Dweck into the crowd.

Three...

Four...

The two men, now on their feet begin brawling up the steps through the crowd.

Five...

Six...

St. Remi: I don’t think these guys care about winning at this point, dude.

Mike Clearwater: It seems to have become personal.

Seven...

Eight...

The crowd have joined in on the count as the two men battle back down and toward ringside.

Nine...

Ten!

Max slides into the ring.

St. Remi: Did bro make it?

Mike Clearwater: The referee is shaking his head and looks to be signaling a double count out.

The tron lights up as we see perfectly manicured nails being expertly filed.

The camera pans to a tattooed chest panning up we see a very androgynous male standing in front of a vanity.

Voice: Are you.. Smooth as Satin?

The images fade into some words.

FRANKEE SATIN.. COMING SOON!

We cut to the announce desk.

Mike Clearwater: YouTube sensation Frankee Satin is coming to Alpha Pro?

Remi: That's what the damn video just said, dude. So.. yeah.. question is... WHY?

Haruna Sakazaki vs Smith Jones vs Scott Slayer

St. Remi: What a debut event this has been tonight, dudes and dudettes! Alpha Pro is definitely rising, and so is my --

Mike Clearwater: Remi!

Remi: -- heart rate! Is what I was going to say! This triple threat co-main event has everything a wrestling fan could want! Driven competitors, each looking to make his or her mark on this fledgling promotion and prove to management how much they deserve a spot at our inaugural pay-per-view, which will crown our very first champions!

Clearwater: Those are surprisingly cogent points from my broadcast partner. You said it, Remi -- this is the kind of match that can set the pace for this company and each of these wrestlers. Tonight, we see the in-ring return of Haruna Sakazaki, following a year-long hiatus after the closing of UFWA -- and sister of former WCF legend Kira Sakazaki!

Remi: No way!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: This contest is a triple threat match set for one fall!

The stage light goes off as "Rosenkreutz" by Ayasa hits through the PA system. As the two spotlights waving left and right in the entranceway. The smoke comes from the curtain as Haruna Sakazaki appears through the smoke while the spotlight goes capturing her movements as she waves to the crowd.

Jessica Kaine: First to the ring -- from Akihabara, Japan -- she is the "Silver Lining"; HAARUUNAA SAKAAZAKIII!!!

As she walks down to the aisle, The spotlights are following her while she keeps walking to the ring. The light goes back to normal soon as she approaches the ring. She climbs the steel steps while waving her hand to the crowd before entering, while inside, she charges to the rope while raising her hand and pointing her finger to the sky. She repeats it to four corners and then she takes off her jacket and ready for the match.

Remi: Damn! Look at that physique!

Clearwater: An admirable specimen, and a former champion in her own right. Not unlike her competition tonight!

Linkin Park's "Waiting for the End" hits the speakers to a moderate pop from the crowd. No tricks of the light, no effects or theatrics; nothing but the pure power of his own presence as Smith Jones steps from behind the curtain.

Jessica Kaine: Now coming to the ring -- from Toronto, Ontario, Canada -- SMITH JONES!!!

Jones strides with determination down the ramp, heedless of the outstretched hands reaching for him as he mounts the ring steps, wiping his feet on the apron before he slips between the ropes and heads to his corner.

Remi: No nonsense from a true journeyman of this profession. He's been in more promotions than I have strip clubs -- and that's saying something!

Clearwater: Journeyman, AND multiple time champion in his own right. Smith has dominated everywhere he's been, and we should expect nothing less from him here at Alpha Pro!

The arena turns black with dark blue strobe lights. White smoke fills the arena.

Jessica Kaine: And finally -- hailing from Detroit, Michigan -- he is the "Anarchist"; SCOOTTT SLAAYERR!!!

As the bass line kicks in for Me Against You by Three Days Grace, Scott Slayer appears on the stage with his wrestling attire, a hoodie, and gas mask on. He walks in a cryptic way to the ring. He steps in the ring and takes the gas mask off as the chorus plays.

Remi: As a former WCF tag champion, and perpetual hardcore competitor, Scott Slayer needs no introduction! His rise to greatness was cut short when the Dub shut its doors, but APW could be the second chance he needs!

Clearwater: That all remains to be seen -- starting right now!

DING DING DING!

Clearwater: There's the bell, and these three are sizing each other up.

Remi: They're wasting time! Listen to this crowd; they want a fight!

Jones seems to agree, making a grab for Haruna, who ducks out of the way and retaliates with a kick to the back of the knee. Not to be left out, Slayer takes advantage of the situation and pulls Jones in for a suplex -- but Smith fights his way out!

Clearwater: Jones now focused on Slayer. Slayer looking to lock up, but Jones is having none of it. He shoves Slayer back -- setting him up perfectly for a bulldog from Haruna Sakazaki!

Remi: Bro, she can bulldog me any day!

Clearwater: Does your depravity know no bounds?

Remi: Umm… I'll get back to you on that -- DUDE!

Clearwater: Haruna on the offense, only to fall prey to a butterfly suplex from Smith! Cover!

Remi: Broken up by Slayer coming off the ropes!

Smith Jones squares off with Scott Slayer again as Haruna recovers on the ring apron.

Clearwater: A couple of stiff forearms and Jones pulls Slayer in, lifts him up -- looks like he's demonstrating another from his arsenal of suplexes as he holds a dazed Slayer upside down…

Remi: But here comes that hot little firecracker, Haruna-chan! Chop block and Slayer crashes to the mat! He looks like he might've landed badly!

Clearwater: Scott Slayer rolling out of the ring…

Remi: Bye, Felicia!

Clearwater: And it looks like Sakazaki squaring up with Jones! The man is twice her size!

Remi: Probably not the smartest move on her part. Haruna has only been in the ring with other women, and there is no way she's prepared for this level of competition!

Clearwater: Get with the times, Remi. Women are every bit as skilled and talented in that ring!

As if to prove that point, Haruna launches a determined offense, levelling a series of kicks Jones can't seem to fend off. She hits the ropes, and springboards off with a tornado DDT that stops Smith Jones cold and puts him on the mat. Shouting at the referee, Sakazaki rolls up her downed opponent, and the official drops down for the count.

Two!

Remi: Jones kicks out with authority! Haruna back on the defensive now as Smith stalks his prey!

Clearwater: Not for long! Haruna nails Jones with a standing dropkick! Back to her feet as Smith gets up to his knees -- shining wizard!

The crowd pops for the display of heart and athleticism. Nobody notices the figure creeping up from the outside until too late.

Remi: HERE COMES SCOTT SLAYER!

Clearwater: Slayer drops Sakazaki with a lariat! He turns to Jones for another! Two competitors down, and Slayer is celebrating in the ring!

Jones pops right back to his feet and grabs Slayer in a headlock! Haruna is up next, and the two lock eyes. A slight nod passes between them.

Remi: What the Hell, bro?

Jones scoops Slayer up while Haruna climbs the turnbuckle. Sakazaki dives off with a somersault into a reverse DDT, aided by Smith Jones!

Clearwater: I don't know what you call that, but it was amazing! Veritas double DDT! The only question now is, who claims the pin?

Remi: Looks like they're asking themselves the same thing, dude.

Jones charges at Sakazaki. He grabs her wrist and whips her to the ropes. Haruna rebounds, ducks the clothesline, hits the other side, and rushes in at Smith.

Clearwater: Flashback!

Remi: Denied! Gutwrench suplex! It's over!

Clearwater: Not yet! Scott Slayer somehow back to a vertical base!

Remi: Not for long! Jones on the ropes -- backstabber!

Clearwater: Point of Controversy! Jones hooks the leg! The count is just a formality now!

One!

Two!

Three!!!

DING DING DING!

Remi: That was one hell of a battle, but the experience edge of Smith Jones put him on top -- and one step closer to that Alpha Title!

Jones shakes hands with a recovering Haruna Sakazaki as his music hits the speakers again to a huge pop from the fans.

A hush comes over the arena as a veiled banner is raised up over the audience, a smattering of conversation is heard as the screen cuts to a tighter shot of the ring; the mat covered in pink crushed velvet, two stools on either side of a framed rainbow colored sign that reads “Be Gay, Do Crimes”, and small table with a bottle of Champagne on ice. The shot changes to a camera panning over a confused and inquisitive audience, many looking up towards the large sheet hanging over head, hiding the banner underneath.

“Technicolor Shades” by Yourenigma swells over the sound system, sending the crowd into a tizzy with immediate jeering and booes. Eventually the build reaches its peak and the music explodes forth with Jack “The Crack” Schlongson jumping from behind the curtain onto the entrance ramp as lights strobing various neon colors. The Crack dons a Dark blue suit with a purple button up underneath.

Jessica Kaine: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, JACK... "THE CRACK"... SCHLOOOONGSOOOOOON!

Undaunted by the crowds negative response, Jack runs ecstatically down the entrance ramp and up the ring steps, ascending to the top turnbuckle to gesture in excitement to the audience, who doesn’t share his enthusiasm. After a moment, he climbs down into the ring and wonders to hard camera right to grab a mic being handed to him from of screen. The music slowly dies out along with the wild lighting, giving way to the immense negativity from the crowd. After a moment, the commotion dies down and Jack raises the microphone to his lips.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: It has been SOOOO long, hasn’t it, my little babes? I know what you must be thinking, “he wasn’t even listed in the program! What did we do to deserve such. A. DELICIOUS. Surprise?” Well, after spending so much time out of the limelight, I decided that my adoring public NEEDED me now more than ever, and what-a-better way to return than during the incredible debut of a wonderful new federation, AND DURING PRIDE MONTH NO LESS!

The crowd starts to rile up again, but Jack is quick to wave them down and interrupt their displeasure.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Dearies, as much as I would love to listen to you guys all night long, we do have a few things to get through. I know what you want to ask, “Mr. Schlongson, are you returning to in-ring action?” and sadly, I have to answer with a ‘no’ a return for the competitor Jack Schlongson is still a ways off, but ever determined to participate in this lovely industry of mine, I have found another way to entertain the darling masses. After many talks with the management of Alpha Pro, I would like to announce that I have been made the host of the hottest new show in wrestling…

Jack signals to a crew off screen and suddenly the veil hanging over head is dropped to reveal a bright and vibrantly colorful banner with Jacks face smiling on one side and the words “The Crack Down” taking up most of the signs real-estate. Jack, looking up is overcome with a confused and disappointed gaze.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: The...The Crack Down… Um… I am, hmm… I am not in love with that name.

Turning away from the banner, Jack faces hard side camera again with a renewed look of enthusiasm.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Moving oooon. I am a new voice for the industry, an eye from outside the competition, but with the history to offer proper insight. This industry needs a firestarter and I assure you there is no one better than myself!

The audience clamors in disagreement, but Jack pays them no mind.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: So, in the spirit of that endeavour, I wanted to do something special. As some of you may know, if your awareness of your straight male gaze hasn’t tunnel visioned you from witnessing world events, it is pride month! In celebration, I wanted to highlight the various LGBTQ+ members of the roster, one for each week of the month, but since it seems a lot of the performers backstage are… less-than-honest with me or themselves, I think that my options are rather limited, but I will say my searching wasn’t all-for-not. Huns, for too long, the landscape of wrestling has been populated with the unbearable wash of uneducated musclebound dopey-boys, coming in with nothing but braun and large thighs, and thus the level of class, flash, and intelligence has been severely missing, even despite my best attempts to alter the face of this industry. The superstar who has so graciously given his time to be my first guest tonight is a breath of fresh air in the stagnant non-sense of egomania and vein popping masochism. Not only is he an entrepreneur, having purchased the club Neurodancer during his most recent trip to the states, but he is also a man of intense intellect and style, to the point of drawing envy even from myself. Hailing from the land of South Korea… thats the good one, while young, he is by no means new to the industry, but his signing to APW is sure to be a new found driving force for wrestling as his style and abilities will be presented on a scale previously unseen. Without further to do, I introduce to you the face of wrestling to come, “The Red-Headed Slut” Son Nyeo!

The slow, techno beats of “Burning Up” by BTS stars, accompanied by dark, slow-motion footage of a rave on the titantron and multicolored strobelights.

It all stops as a voice speaks a single word in korean.

“Bultaoreune”

The area explodes into a cascade of red and white to reveal Nyeo Son on the ramp, arms outstretched and with a smirk on his face.

He makes his way to the ring, his body swaying in time to the music, his coat and gloves catching the light and making him shine like a lonesome star in the otherwise dark arena.

He rolls into the ring and stares down the hard camera as he leans over the ropes, licking his lips with a smirk before casually arching back until he is lying on his back on the mat, the camera switches to show him straight from above as he gestures it closer, a hungry look on his face before the lights go out once more.

The lights come on and Nyeo is back on his feet shaking hands with Jack before both take a seat on the provided stools.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Mr. Son, it is just fab-u-lous that you were able to make it onto the show today.

Nyeo Son: After the nightclub suggestion you gave me a few nights back, I’m more than happy to be here.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Hey, maybe I should get a cut of the profit, haha.

Nyeo just looks at Jack. After a moment Jack slowly stops laughing.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: ….heh… no? Okay. I know you have a lot on your mind with being on the first show for APW, you having a match coming up later in the evening, and a new business under your ownership to name a few things, but I have to ask, with so much at play, is there a grander scheme to all this, something to which all your efforts are leading?

Nyeo Son: The very same reason I decided to appear on your show. I have big plans for The United States, nothing I’m willing to make public yet, but in order for that plan to come into fruition, I need to build my brand, and that starts here in the world of wrestling.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: How inspiring! Showing people across the world that land of success extends to those representing the LGBTQ+ community as well.

Nyeo laughs nervously, looking around before looking back at Schlongson.

Nyeo Son: What? How do you mean?

Jack cocks an eyebrow in a pause.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Well, I mean, because you’re a successful business man and so obviously… I mean, I shouldn’t put out stereotypes, but…

Nyeo and Jack just kind of stare at each other for a minute.

Nyeo Son: ...I’m not following.

Jack awkwardly looks off as he pretends to adjust his suit.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Nevermind, just a misjudgement on my part...possibly. Either way, I have a closet at home, totally get it.

Nyeo Son: Wha-

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: While we are talking about building brands and utilizing a grand stage, you bring with you the culture of your home country of South Korea, is there any particular way you plan on show casing such a culture to the masses watching from around the world?

Nyeo takes a moment to laugh.

Nyeo Son: I plan on showcasing the South Korea I know in the ring, unfortunately for my opponent.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: Speaking of which, do you have any thoughts on your opponent Tsukiko?

Nyeo Son: She…

Nyeo grimaces and shrugs.

Nyeo Son: She is a very honorable individual… to a fault, and I think industries like this are more fitted to people like myself than her. Maybe she can find her place somewhere else, but tonight I’m more about where the future leads.

Jack “The Crack” Schlongson: You seem to be coming in with a strong sense of intent, almost with intense focus. How will this translate to your in-ring performance?

Nyeo Son: Some people will have problems with what I do in the ring, but I will say this much…

Nyeo looks at hard camera.

Nyeo Son: I know my style of combat isn't for the faint of heart, some of you might disapprove. But I know some of you, the ones baying for blood and the ones silently craving it, you are my people, the people who I do this for, and the people who I value and want by my side. I am here for you, to give you the entertainment you want.

Nyeo throws down his mic as “Burning Up” by BTS blares over the speakers. Jack gets up and shakes Nyeo’s hand before the screen cuts away.

MAIN EVENT

Masuda Jubei vs Braxton Locus

Mike Clearwater: Here we go, partner. Everything has led up to this. Welcome to the main event of Alpha Rising!

Remi: Mike, we have been building this company for weeks. Months of preparation, contracts and other business to get here. To this moment. Two pariahs of the squared circle set to make their Alpha Wrestling debuts. We’ve seen their faces on the marquee. Both have fired their shots, but all the talk is over. No more waiting. No more training. Payoff time—it just does not get better than this.

Mike Clearwater: You got that right, Remi. And here he comes… the one we’ve heard so much about.

Remi: My arm. Goosebumps, bro.

DING DING DING!

The arena brightens almost lucid white as “Libra” by MUCC plays. Masuda Jubei emerges majestically from a burst of fog wearing a white embroidered towel over his head. Fans cheer out of respect, not admiration, as he makes it to the top of the ramp.

Jessica Kaine: This match is scheduled for ONE FALL… one his way to the ring from Yokohama, Japan… weighing 229 pounds... “The Master” Masuda Jubei!

Mike Clearwater: A lot of speculation as to the signing of Jubei.

Remi: He left everything in Yokohama to start anew here in America. Seems—

Mike Clearwater: Well it just doesn’t sound on the level, does it?

Jubei walks down the ramp to the slow, almost dark-droning rap until the music hits a lighter, pop section. At which Jubei unveils his towel and finds the nearest child to drape it over in a calm yet menacing way.

Mike Clearwater: A pep talk from The Master. I’m not sure I’d want my kid talking to him.

Remi: Mike, it’s Masuda Jubei. The kid’s learning from the top. How many times do get that kind of advice?

After a playful slap to the squirt’s cheek, and pep talk, he hops onto the apron and enters through the middle rope. The child has since gone to his mother for support and on the verge of tears. Lights lower to normal with Jubei waiting intently for the bout to begin.

Remi: He won’t have it easy tonight. I think we’ll see balanced fight, Mike. One dominated on the mat with some striking to make things interesting.

Mike Clearwater: So whoever takes the mat wins tonight.

Remi: These guys are closet technicians. Don’t go by the book or they will burn you.

Mike Clearwater: And here comes his opponent… it’s like Christmas tonight at MSG!

Entrance: "Less Sex" by Daughters builds with a static swell and a light instrumentation until a sudden snare halts the static and "Braxton Locus" cuts onto the Titantron. Braxton steps out from behind the curtain with a small burlap bag over his head.

Jessica Kaine: Coming to the ring at two-hundred and twenty pounds, from St. Paul, Minnesota. BRRRRRRRRRAXTON LOOOOOOOCUUUUUUUUUSSSS!

Mike Clearwater: Fans have been clamoring about Braxton Locus for weeks. Ever since we learned who would headline this show, boards have picked their sides.

Remi: But let’s be clear about one thing, Mike. These are two of the worst people you’ll ever meet in Alpha Wrestling. Probably the worst personalities too. Both will have to keep a close eye on the other because this one could go downhill in seconds.

Slowly he walks down to the ring as the song continues on with its melancholic tone. He ascends the steel steps and along the apron of the before reaching the middle and turning to face the crowd. As the song strikes its sour screeches, Braxton rips off the bag and assaults the camera with an unflinching stare before stepping between the ropes and into the center of the ring.

Mike Clearwater: O’Shaughnessy pulling both men aside.

Remi: He wants to check Jubei’s gloves. That’s a veteran official for you.

Mike Clearwater: What might he be looking for—Braxton goes for the legs! And we’re off!

Remi: And there’s you bell! Locus trying to get control but Masuda kicks free.

Jubei smiles as both men get into a grappling stance. They look for a traditional hold, when Braxton hits a knee to Masuda’s gut. Fans have no idea to whom to cheer for, so they just applaud the moment itself. Jubei leans over and takes another nasty knee to the stomach. Braxton locks in an abdominal stretch with a pressure applied to the ribs. The speed he moves at makes it look sloppy and undisciplined.

Remi: That hand is just crushing his ribs. You can barely breathe in that position.

Mike Clearwater: Elbows from Jubei… he just judo flipped Locus to the ground!

Remi: Jubei trying for that wrist. If he gets around that wrist, he can lock on an armbar.

“Come on scary man,” Masuda says over the crowd. Braxton is able to free a leg and land more knee strikes. Jubei has no choice but abandon the hold. He gets his feet first and doesn’t let Locus stand before launching an attack of his own.

Mike Clearwater: What a kick to the midsection. Every seat in the house heard that one.

Remi: He’s strong style, Mike. Those guys will slap the shit out of you.

Mike Clearwater: Oh! Braxton answers with a toe kick. How long before O’Shaughnessy has to get involved?

Remi: You want in between those men—be my guest. Oof! Jubei kicks him back.

Mike Clearwater: Is he calling for another?

Braxton brings a European uppercut instead. The Master eats it then comes back with a chest-popping chop to his exposed chest. Jubei then shouts “one more,” demanding him to bring another one. When he swings, Jubei reverses it into an Fujiwara armbar takedown.

Remi: That guy is a bastard.

Mike Clearwater: Fans unimpressed by that cheap shot. He wanted to fight, but changed the rules.

Remi: Look! Braxton’s shifting their weight! It’s a roll up!

One!

Two!

Mike Clearwater: And Jubei springs free. What a comeback from Locus. I don’t think Masuda was expecting something like that from his opponent. A man he called “wild” and “unpredictable” earlier this week. That was some superb mat technique.

Remi: I wouldn’t call him a technician, Mike. But you cannot let you opponent wiggle free like that.

Mike Clearwater: Do you think Masuda is playing with his food?

Remi: He might want Locus to think that. I’d be more concerned with ending this one before Braxton Locus can unleash that monster inside him.

Both men circle and lock up again. Braxton sneaks a knee, gaining the upper hand into a side clutch. Jubei leaps for the ropes but runs right into front lock. Locus takes it and slams his opponent to the mat hard. The Master reaches for the ropes, yelling with his arm bending to an obtuse angle.

Remi: What a trickster. He reversed Jubei straight to the mat!

Mike Clearwater: Can he do that?

Remi: Nothing illegal there, chief. Just bad luck for The Master.

O’Shaughnessy leans in as Jubei yearns for the ropes. Locus screams into his face while fighting to bend the arm in the wrong direction. Jubei kicks at the mat, refusing to give in, when he sees daylight. Fans seem to have shifted in his favor as The Master unleashes a barrage of headbutts. Everyone counts:

One! Two! Three! Four!

Mike Clearwater: Spanky stepping in to break this up. One of them is busted open!

Remi: Wait, I think they both are!

Mike Clearwater: Damn, those headbutts were disgusting.

Remi: If you’re stuck in a move like that one, bro. You’ll do anything to break free.

Jubei flicks his wrists, but the bad moon rises with another barrage. Braxton Locus keeps his relentless pace, landing three random body shots. He then tries to get Jubei into a hammerlock. Fans have all but forgotten the dynamic, choosing to explode instead at every sudden pop.

Mike Clearwater: Yet again, Braxton has Jubei locked down. For someone called “The Master,” you’d expect a better submission game.

Remi: (off his headset) delete that one or Masuda is going to come after us.

Mike Clearwater: Our official can only watch as another painful move wears him down.

Remi: Jubei may not have any good arms left. Which will only mean more vicious strikes from Locus.

Mike Clearwater: Are we seeing the true depths and depravity of Sammy bad moon?

Remi: If there’s anything worse, Mike. I don’t think we could record it.

Braxton wrenches the arm, but Jubei keeps it from going too far back. Locus regains control with a few strikes the back of his neck. O’Shaughnessy swoops in but gets Motomobo’ed by The Master, not Braxton. His swipe sends Spanky to an opposite corner. Then, from his predicament, Masuda raises his other hand and nails a hard elbow. Two more but they cannot separate him from the Locus’s wrath.

Mike Clearwater: Jubei is… is he laughing?

Remi: Yeah, he’s laughing.

Mike Clearwater: The Master might be losing it.

Remi: No, he’s getting a second wind—look!

Fan shudder as his laughter, and long stream of blood down his face, grow. Braxton gets leverage, but it only seems to be at his opponent’s amusement. Jubei then ducks in a way that their momentum shifts, spinning the hold towards a turnbuckle. He then pushes off—a springing leap that sends both smashing into the ring posts.

Mike Clearwater: Desperation from Masuda.

Remi: Clever… he’s getting the rope break too.

Mike Clearwater: O’Shaughnessy trying to break them up. Locus doesn’t want to let go!

One... Two... Three... and Braxton finally relinquishes his hold. Jubei steps on his foot, which lets The Master unleash thunderous chops their audience was not ready to count. They simply erupt.

Remi: He just gave everything he had behind those strikes.

Mike Clearwater: Wasn’t that more than ten?

Remi: I believe that goes under the Misawa rule: Never get in the way of someone’s chops.

Jubei lifts and uses the third rope to choke Braxton. He gets about a second of that before the ref has to intervene. They tug and pull until O’Shaughnessy frees Locus from the knot Jubei tried to tie around his head. While he checks on Braxton, Jubei hits the opposite ropes.

Mike Clearwater: What’s Jubei doing?

Remi: Mike! Get moving!

Mike Clearwater: Jubei just speared our head official and his opponent through the ropes. Now all three men are down.

Remi: I cannot believe he did that. Masuda might have taken the worse of that fall out. His head smacked into our announce table.

Mike Clearwater: I don’t think Spanky is getting up. He’s out cold.

“Holy shit” chants have since died down when Braxton Locus gets to his feet first. Bad moon takes over again in a flourish of pinpointed kicks. Jubei shields himself but can only dodge so many strikes. A face wash leaves him in a crumpled position, all while Braxton goes even farther.

Mike Clearwater: He’s leaning Jubei against our table… chickenwing crossface!

Remi: With the referee down, these two have free range of the floor.

Mike Clearwater: Someone get another official down here!

After a sickening minute of torture, and feeling his own arms become wet linguini, Locus lets his signature hold go. Jubei collapses over the top of the table. Braxton takes a chair from the scorer’s table and makes a huge shot to Jubei’s back.

Mike Clearwater: This is pandemonium!

Remi: I don’t like that look in his eyes. Oh! A sweep from Jubei!

A well-placed kick toppled his opponent forward. It also tossed the chair in Jubei’s direction. Unable to stand, he just chucked in Braxton’s face with a car crash thud.

Mike Clearwater: Reinforcements! Here comes Cassidy Kaine!

Remi: A little too late.

Mike Clearwater: Oh come on… Don’t do it!

Remi: The Master wants to regain control. Is he going to do it?

Both men are standing on the table with Braxton Locus held in a piledriver clutch. Jubei teases his Gotch style and keeps it for several seconds. Fans teeter on the front of their seats only to hear that signature laugh once more. Jubei, despite a four count in his ear from Kaine, hits a strong knee strike to send Braxton rolling off the table. He then hops down and makes his way to the apron. A hand pulls him down, but just enough to keep Jubei from making a clean entrance.

Mike Clearwater: Locus crawling for the ring skirt. Can he get back inside?

Seven... Eight...

Remi: Come on Sammy, get up there!

Nine…

He rolls in just before Kaine throws up a 10, huffing and puffing as he does. Supine with the lights in his eyes, Jubei towers over him and begins pulling him towards the center.

Mike Clearwater: Could this be it? He steps over the leg… the Seal of Masuda!

Remi: Masuda no Inkan!

Mike Clearwater: There’s nowhere to go now. Cassidy Kaine back in the ring… how do you break free of move like that one, Remi?

Remi: Get the ropes or tap. That thing is locked in too tight.

Mike Clearwater: He’s going for the ropes, but Masuda is not giving any ground.

Fans start clapping for the moment, forgetting what absolute bastards have captured their hearts. Jubei taunts his opponent with the head arched under his arm. Clapping grows, and for a sec, it seems to work. Braxton slumps his free leg to one side and pushes up. Jubei keeps the dragon sleeper tight, yet his wrap around the other leg loosens.

Remi: Hell yeah! That’s the style, Sammy!

Mike Clearwater: He can’t do that!

Remi: Taking advantage of the green official, Braxton just low blow’ed Jubei with a back kick. The kid has no idea either. What a dangerous man!

Mike Clearwater: Braxton whipping around… Uranage!

One!

Two!

THR-- NO!!!

Fans explode into applause. Braxton picks Jubei off the mat and hits another one.

One!

Two!

Thr--

Mike Clearwater: He kicks out again! What more can you do?

Remi: I don’t think there’s enough left for a submission. You can see it in his walk. There’s nothing left.

Mike Clearwater: He takes Jubei into one arm… Uranage!

Remi: He barely got any lift out of that one! The Cover!

One!

Two!

Three!

DING DING DING!

Jessica Kaine: And you winner… Braaaaax-toooon Loooo-cuuuuuus!

Mike Clearwater: Blood everywhere. This wasn’t a match, Remi. It was destruction. No one is walking away from this match the same. And I doubt either wants to see the other again.

Remi: No one on the roster either. But what a great win for Braxton. His grit and determination are the stuff of ages, and he leaves Alpha Rising king of the mountain.

Mike Clearwater: This has been Alpha Wrestling. We’ll see you next Monday for the launch of our flagship broadcast, Monday Night Metal. You don’t want to miss it!
